Being honest and authentic... not throwing up on everyone... not hiding what we do and conversely not exaggerating what we do...<br><br>I love being upfront and saying straight out "I'm a network marketing profesional" rather than all the cutesie little phrases that are supposed to generate interest and "hook" them while we hide what we really do, and in reality just scream "I'm afraid/embarassed to tell you what I do" and meanwhile everyone knows "oh it's one of those pyramid things"...<br>"I'm a network marketing professional, and I help people..." If I get one of those negative looks or comments, I either ask "what do you know about network marketing?" or if I get the eye-roll, pathetic realy negative look I say "Sounds like you've been involved in something, tell me about your experience..." Then usually it's their brother's wife's bestfriend's mother who knew someone one time...<br>Again, depending on their reaction, I might say "you're probably right, you probably aren't right for this..." or else "would you open to taking 15 minutes to get the facts and base your decision/opinion on that?"
