Great interview Eric. I'm finding the common themes among the million $ plus earners seems to be a few simple disciplines done consistently over time. It is always helpful to hear the back story on their success. I can do this, I must. There is simply no other way. Thank you.
  • Yan Lambert
    Awesome... I needed that !!!

  • Craig Williams
    GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Gakungu
Wow! The one thing that amazed me about Nathan is he is an individual who's got a quiet confidence and at the same time he puts an edge in his tone which changes his posture and you get to believe that you can do this business. If he made it and figured out I can also make it and figure out.
  • Wow what a great interview! Nathan Ricks breaks it down!!!!
  • heatherbrocklehurst
Great quote, "Network marketing done wrong is your worst nightmare. Network marketing done right is a fairy tale." Nathan Ricks is full of great insight. One of my favorite interviews.
  • William Koroskenyi
This is so powerful. The vision expressed here is so huge, and I love the way he expresses what has brought the old system to it's destruction. Network Marketing is the way! Thanks so much for this.
  • Danny
    This was great. Thanks
  • maryellenterry

    NMPRO#9

For me, this complete interview between Eric and Nathan Ricks is worth watching over. I missed this first time round (arriving at NMPRO after this was broadcast) and I've just enjoyed it for the first time having watched many, if not most, of Eric's treasured NMPRO videos and following Eric's advice via his new and superb Go Pro product. Check out the 12 o'clock / clock face tool - and 'don't rent your brain and your body to someone else'

    Thanks Nathan.

    Thanks again Eric

    I just watched this again,again....
I got 5 pages of notes...
    Very special...... Thanks
  • Michael J Pickett
Great interview, I agree caring & relationship building is critical. Your team will follow you if they know you sincerely care and are there for them. Give your time to those who deserve it because they earned it. "Have faith in yourself to focus & become free!" Thanks & God Bless
  • carybennett
Wow Great interview, he has some great advice to use must listen to parts again, Thanks Eric
  • I like the concept "if you care for someone you have to offer the opportunity".
  • Concept I have to keep in mind. If they are not at 12 they are not ready. Amazing concept.
  • Listening to this interview made me realize all the waisted opportunities I had over the past 6 months since I started a NM business. I know I have focus, but I was focusing on the wrong things...The focus and successes I have had in my professional career do not transfer to my new NM business. One way or another, I will re-find my focus to be sucessful enough to be interviewed on a program like NMPRO! Join my team www.YOUniqueWealth.com/Savings
  • Ian_Hurley
Yes Nathan does rock! What a lesson. Some key things for some who is not sure. But here's some insight- are you trading your body and mind or even your life to someone else? Are they the ones benefiting from your existence?
Start looking for those who are at 12oclock - they are ready to do what you ask and do it. If not let them go til they are ready. People have to be committed and focused! Decide that this is what you want and don't be afraid to talk to people. This is a people business!
Focus and commitment, focus and commitment, focus and commitment.

    Thank you Eric
  • Brilliant interview... thanks.
  • crwood1967
Thanks for another great interview Eric! I appreciate Nathan's calm straight forward approach.
  • Erik
So much value in this interview.
  • MarvinTowler
Watching this interview per your suggestion in the GoPro series. Focus and consistency! Life happens to everybody can you focus and be consistent through the tough times. Bring them in and nurture and development. 12/6/3/9:00 Brilliant!!!
  • JazzAndNora
My wife and I have just become distributors for an international Organic Healthcare Products company. These first two weeks have not been that easy: we just want everything to get going right away, and it is hard when they don't. But this interview and it's message of focus and faith has reaffirmed for me my why and my belief that this new venture will bring us our Freedom!

Great interview and thank you for the inspiration!
  • Vicki Namie
Thank you very much for this video. I am very impressed with Nathan and have a greater respect for network marketing. I am very excited about my new venture with NuSkin and I am believing that I can finally get myself in a position to support myself. I believe that the Lord brought this opportunity to me at just the right time and I am going to give it my all.
    Thank you again.
    Vicki
  • David Geditz
Rehash, rehash.....heard that already. Then "To Be Free", I totally lost sight of my why. The last few weeks has been really been negative and I couldn't understand why. I forgot why I started network marketing in the first place...'to be free'. Great video!
  • A fantastic interview. I mailed it to my entire downline. I'll be visiting networkmarketingpro.com on a daily basis from now on.
  • Alfie
    - learning to talk to people
    - wait for 12 o'clock
    - don't be afraid
    - have faith
    - believe in yourself enough
    - believe it can happen
    - be consistent
    - don't trade your life away!

    Very powerful lessons.
  • Hi Eric,

My sincerest thanks to you and Nathan for this interview. My sponsor and business partner David Wood enlightened me about your site. As network marketer who just left corporate America in 2009, after 20 plus years working jobs, this really helped to reaffirm why.

After receiving my first (tiny) checks here in 2010, beginning to have a couple of people in my downline who are actually working, and dealing with my first extremely negative business contact, I greatly appreciate everything you discussed.

You are providing exceptional value here to anyone who takes the time to listen. Thanks again.

    ~ Scott
  • Second time around it's even better
  • travelprohawaii
Now I know why I have trudged along all these years and seeming to get nowhere fast. I was constantly learning and reprogramming my brain. I was a 6o'clocker that saw what the business could do but had the lottery mentality. With that mentality I found out that it gets you some success but not the kind that lasts. I now am a 11:59er and soon will be a 12o'clocker because of your help. Thanks!
  • Miguel Cortez
Once Again ..... im at the right place at the right time
  • Great interview with quite a few nuggets.

My favourite: Network Marketing is the most efficient business model because it only pays those who perform, as opposed to the Corporate model where many unproductive people hide and earn a living at the expense of others.

I have met many of those slugs :)
  • FrankMarshman
ENOUGH COURAGE TO BE FREE! Damn! What an amazing thought.
  • tonylogue
Another bang up job. Focus + Consistency. Without a doubt simple and complex at the same time. I certainly couldn't afford to pay for this type of training...oh wait...you're providing it for free. What a deal.

    Thanks again....Tony Logue
  • bryantkeefe
The last 3 minutes are stunning and the rest ain't bad also!
  • Laurette
I just got introduce to this wonderful tool today and just can't get away or get enough! Thanks Eric! Nathan was what I needed right now and I am so grateful for the opportunity to hear him and I will surely have a few of my team people give him a good listen too. And this interview will be on top of my list for stuff to get back to periodically.
  • The discussion on the corporate system that so many have faith in is a hard reality for most to accept. I hope this becomes an eye opener for those who listen in...
  • Susan K
    Hey Eric,
Great interview you had with Nathan. It's apparent that all of top leaders in the industry give the same advice when it comes to success. That you must focus, stay consistent, learn to talk to people( Many)! Then just get out there and do it and don't let the negative one's be dream stealers . Thanks
  • Kevin
"Perhaps the greatest torture that could be devised would be for us to be forced in our later years, to watch a continiously repeating movie of the lives we could of lived had we dared to believe in and pursue the dreams and goals that were available and attainable in our lifetimes... The price of getting the prize is great - but the regret of not having it is greater" ~ Kevin
  • manuel
    Eric,
This was simply amazing, Great info. you are doing a great job helping us. Thank you once again.
  • Candice Roach
This interview with Nathan Ricks was extremely motivational for me. Nathan Ricks confirmed the thoughts and feelings I have had about being free for years. His philosophies and messages were more than inspirational. Nathan Ricks allowed me to continue to believe in the network marketing industry and the greatness that this industry can bring into my life and the lives of many.
  • carloscerezo
I totaly agree, its just a mater of faith
  • The courage to be free & 'don't trade your life away'....that's pretty profound! The courage to be free because you deserve it...WOW. I think that's probably my biggest struggle - believing that I deserve to be financially free and that it's not selfish, it's ok to want that.
  • ieishahedwards
awesome interview...Mr. Ricks hit some great key points in the end with his message to people like myself that want to do N.W.M (network marketing) as a profession. Thank you to the both of you for taking time out to educate us about this industry :)
  • Erik
Great to see the Show once more. Nathan Ricks is a Rockstar :)
  • denisekay
Mr. Nathan Ricks Rocks! The main point is faith. Have faith in yourself and your product and everything will fall together... with a little help from the mentors.

Second point: keep the blinders on. Be in the present.
  • anthonyviglietta
Absolutely awesome. I just got started, and will recommend this site to everyone.
  • Learn how to FOCUS... one of my favorite commitment quotes is

Until one is committed there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too.

All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favour all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no one could have dreamt would have come his way.

I have learned a deep respect for one of Goethe's couplets:

"Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it.
Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it."

    from "The Scottish Himalayan Expedition"
    by W. H Murray

What does this mean? Everyone is committed to something. What you have and where you are now is what you being committed looks like. The power of commitment makes nothing happen, it only makes it possible.

Practice consistancy... to what? Your commitment. You are likely already doing it somewhere. Re prioritize now.

I especially liked Nathan's two best reasons for being in MLM. Combined with his story suggests where to big game hunting and how.
  • davidrpayne
Fabulous info Eric and nathan. This is so valuable to me and I suspect to many others. Thanks again and keep it coming. Congrats to Nathan on your success as well.
  • Legacyproject
Great interview. Nathan Rick's is one of my favorite people in Nu Skin. He is authentic & motivating to listen to. I have been a product user for years, and have had my eye on making this business work for me. I realize that the only obstacle in the way, is me. Nathan is a constant inspiration, to see what is possible with commitment & consistency. Thank you for the role model you are, Nathan.
  • stefeni
Timing of this couldn't have been better!! I just sign up with a company, and Nathan confirmed I'm doing the right thing!! I don't want to trade my life away!!! Thank you for the information; it was inspiring and motivating.
  • 1BrutalTruth1
This guy is a Rock Star on steroids. Information worth millions in 38 minutes if you 'get it'. All I can say is 'Amen'.
  • randyangeles
Great information!!! Thanks so much!! Please continue what you are doing to help others make it in our industry.
  • rodrigoalva
WOW. I loved his story. I can totally relate. ;)
  • Wow! What an amazing and insightful interview, thanks to both of you for this great video. I think you summed it perfectly at the end Eric "You rock man!". I will encourage all of my contacts to view this and wake up to the realities that Nathan repeats here - that there is no security in a job and that you end up trading your life for a "pension" that you can't live on with the added risk that the rules change and make it even worse. Residual income is the way to financial freedom and life freedom.
  • fredlund
Eric, I am reviewing all interviews going back to day
one. The information is even more valuable the second
time around. One can't play in the game if he isn't
    practicing.
  • I recently started in network marketing and I think this was a great interview. It will help me a lot. Thanks.
  • gabor73
    Hi Eric,

Thank you for this interview, it helps a lot to keep up the purpose! It's also a much wider view and how to look for new prospect and who to avoid or handle negatived source. I'm watching it over and over again.
    Thanks again!

    Regards, Gabor
    from Dublin
  • So I am listening to all of the videos again...This was the first of course, and as I sit here, I am amazed what I got out of it this time...a whole new level of information that I couldn't hear the first time. Why? Because I have been in Network Marketing a little longer now than I had been the first time I viewed this interview.
It is almost like learning to speak a language...I feel like I am a little further down the path and things I couldn't hear before revealed themselves to me this time. I am sure that there are a ton of things that flew over my radar this time as well, but it is interesting to listen to this again...
Eric, you are providing a great service to us all...thank you so much and thanks to your very valuable guest...Nathan Ricks!
  • Larry Grimes
wow! Thank You! I need to watch this again. Cleaning out the cob webs.
  • Seth
This was deeply encouraging. With all of the marketing trinkets available it is so easy to get distracted. Instead of trying to get a thousand tentacles out grabbing every little dollar you can, be more mature. Ultimately having millions of dollars and not being a sincere genuine person who cares for those around you is an empty pursuit. Richness of life isn't found in a large bank account. It is found in investing in people's lives and helping those who want to help themselves. That is a true mark of maturity. This helped me to refocus on some core values that make a professional truly valuable. You know a professional is simply someone who gets paid or is paid. Yes we all want to get paid. But we want to be more than just professional we also want to exude the spirit of servitude which is the true mark of a leader and actually impact lives not just pocket books. Thanks for this great interview.
  • Jan Shields
I've watched all of the others. I found this one to be very 'focussed' and a simple and complete message to follow! I love the idea that when you do a deal and complete it 'out there', you work yourself out of a job/unemployed until the next contract, bid, sale etc. Residual, recurring income is definitely more fun to work for!
Thanks to both of you for this excellent presentation of somewhat difficult material!
  • Eric
This is a great resource for the Industry. It will help us reach critical mass as an industry. I will share it with my orginization as well as with leaders in others. I have respected you since the days of TPN. Excellent work! Keep it up!.
  • Great info, Eric. Nathan does rock - a true pro.

Among other gems, I love the '12:00' analogy ... that's a solid keeper!

    Best to you,
    Scott
  • Thank you so much for this amazing video clip! Wow! This interview really gave us the big picture. What to do , what not to do and most of all- how to be. Many thanks!!! Carolyn Hancox-Barr
  • Randy Downing
Type your comment here. It is refreshing to hear from someone who is at the top of their game express their thoughts on an incredible industry with unwavering and genuine concern for their fellow man. Thank you so much for a rich insightful interview. Very well done.
  • This was a golden nugget. One can only grow with information like this. Freedom has a price and are you willing to pay it? What is it coasting you to stay where you are? Thanks Pete for sharing this. There are many many suggestions someone can use. I love this industry.
  • Brad Quinton
This was an excellent interview done with Nathan Ricks. His message rang loud and true to me and actually helped me to greater define why it is that I am doing this also.

    Thank you.

I really enjoyed the uneditied video. I watched the others but picked up more by watching this. Recruit, recruit, recruit and believe.......
  • Very useful interview. 90% recruit - how many of us really do that!!
  • The unedited session was great. Good content and good flow of information that was understandable. The key points are such that one can immediately incorporate them into what we are doing right now. Eric, Nathan, thank you both for making a difference for us.
  • Sizwe Ngcobo
    Hi Eric

Thanks for you video in inspiring self belief. Ive been looked down upon and told by my high school teachers too many times that im a dreamer and have been made to feel that it not good to dream and believe...
  • grace Cruz
    Hi Eric,
That interview was extraordinaire. I loved it and got so much out of it: Focus and Faith and everything you want will follow...

  • Osnat Bresler (Israel)
Great to have the entire interview together, after watching each individual segment daily. Thanks again to both Nathan and Eric.
  • Stella Webber The Netherlands
I also think the best way to react, when people ask why you're doing this NWM, is to answer: because I always dreamed about financial freedom and now with NWM it's in my reach! Should there be more reasons? Well, I also want to help other people reach this!
Thank you so much, Nathan and Eric.
    Stella, The Netherlands
  • Eric, Excellent interview, can't wait to see what you have in store for us in future days & weeks! Every morning - I look forward to your email with a new video for us to learn more about this industry.

  • Eric and Nathan,
What a great interview - Excellent Questions and Excellent Answers! Every prospect would benefit at one time from tuning in to this material to get a glimpse of what, who and how this profession operates. Great Job Eric -
    Russell Cooper
  • Eric I really enjoyed this interview and training it really emphasizes they steps and key factors in becoming a network marketing proffesional. Please continue with this venue it's extremely helpful and motivational. Thanks again!
  • Eric & Nathan, probably one of the best network marketing interviews I've seen and heard. Nathan thanks for sharing your wisdom. I agreed with everything that you said, you were right on! Very inspiring, I'm sending this link to my key people.
Thanks for putting this together for us.
    Lori
  • Excellent Interview!! I love how you put into words about the "real risk in life" is when we have "rented" our body and brains away for nothing - just to try to find the "new next deal" - until it's not there anymore - then what do we do. It's the residual income with Network Marketing that gives freedom. Thank you!!
  • Ellis Hubbard (Houston TX)
Eric, I am now a huge fan of Nathan Ricks. His posturing of our business is so strong that I am intent upon modeling that for myself and my 2 new reps since I starting watching this series.
    Keep em coming!
  • Excellent interview full of great information to inspire new downlines. But I liked the segments better. It is more focused and helps you concentrateon one question everyday to analyze it and study it.

    Thank you Eric and Nathan

Hope to meet both of yo soon

Eric, You are TRULY a network marketing professional - a true leader. Words can't express how grateful I am to you for sharing your wisdom with us. This interview was extremely helpful. Focus & consistency are key. I loved Nathan's comment that faith& fear can't co-exist.
  • I watched each one of the segments and thought they were super -- even sent #4-5 out to prospects. I have now watched the full interview. It was great and really speaks to so many of us. I'll be sending it out to team members and prospects alike, AND I will watch it again a few more times to grow me!! Thanks, Eric, for all that you are doing for us!!!
  • Really Liked it!!Specially not being edited the video looks more authentic!!

    Thanks again

  • Excellent interview. Focus and consistancy are the keys to success according to Nathan. When I look at all the leaders in our industry I see that over and over. There's one more thing that comes through for me and it's evident in both Nathan and Eric and that is a an underlying desire to help other people. That's what gets me going every day and everytime that I am in self doubt. I quit looking at myself and think of all the other people that I can help and I get back on the horse. Thank you Eric and Nathan. I'm grateful we have leaders like you to follow and learn from.
  • Just saw this intrview and your comments, Archie. YOu added much extra wisdom. Thanks. Carolyn Hancox-Barr
  • Thanks for this! truly great to see the mindset of industry giants.
Posture is what it's all about! Genuine posture that comes from the inner winner within.
