Very powerful stuff! The proprietary funding vehicle with non sequential disbursement is genus.
  • CarlChase

Recruit & retail with other human beings with information that will interest them.
  • reach people in a way that will intrest them, not turn them away.

Use your tools at the appropriate time. Communicate with your prospects professionally, honestly, and with integrity.
  • Alfie
    expose, present, validate, enroll, support

The two critical stage is the first and the last (expose, support).
  • Hey,

I just wanted to say that the entire Mark Yarnell series is just amazeing. I really love it and it's so great to listen to this master once again!! Thanks for doing this Eric!
  • Tyrone T-bone Taylor
WOW! I must say to all, I know you as a network marketing professional, as well as have had the exciting opportunity to get to hang out with the "Eric Worre" most people don't get to know. I say that to say, they are the same person! Make no mistake about it people, Eric is showing us all, that you don't have to lead a seperate life aside from your chosen profession. Just keep it real, learn your craft, work it, and enjoy the ride, and who know's, being in the right place at the right time can be cool!

    Thanks Eric,

    T-bone
  • Wow that was a really interesting one! Surely the days have passed where we can't mention network marketing.. I get what he means though and know many who have had success bringing people in through systems where they don't initially know it is NM.

I prefer a more direct approach but he mentioned getting people to call him if they're interested... I guess his 2 hours a day was also filled with people who were looking for him. Looks like he's a pro at attraction marketing in it's original form. Very smart way to build the business. :)

The way I underderstod what Mark was talking about was that we should focus on presenting information to the prospect that will spark curiosity so that they will take a honest, sincere, unbias look at the opportunity, Is like first impressions, if you are introduced to someone and the first impression he gets of you is not a positive one, you will have a hard time changing his perception of you.
Is not about BSing anyone is more about focusing from a different angle to avoid raising alarm flags in the prospect that are there because of approaches used in the past by MLM distributors.
I think that is valid and there is a midle ground as Eric said.
    Cheers
  • I am afraid I am not with Mark on this one, in my humble oppinion this type of approach will only serve to fuel the inherent biases of people outside of our profession, when they need to understand and embrace it the most.

Lets continue to face the issues head on.

Hope you had a good day on Thursday Eric

I never thought about reaching my prospects in such a "stealth" way. Very interesting, it deserves to be taken a more in deph look. How about giving this a deeper look in another show. Thanks for all the hard work and for the contribution to your guests and your project group..
  • I think we need to be proud of our profession if those "stigmas" are going to be a thing of the past. However I am taking from this segment that after you've invited someone to take a look at your business if you don't get a positive response the fault was in the invite, maybe posture, belief or what have you not in the message on the tool you used. I think the real concept he is describing is finding a way for the prospect to believe the information you give them will improve or make a difference in their life.

    Great stuff guys!
  • Eric Worre Superstar!!!
  • Tyra Tran (Sacramento, CA)
Thank you for clarifying your preference w/ direct or inderect approach. Keep it coming.
  • Mark is a master at invoking a new thought process into those that think they know it all. Sometimes it will rub you the wrong way, but the point gets taken. Eric thanks for all you do.
Clap if you Believe in Fairies!!.
  • Eric Worre
As I think you all know, I believe now is the time for us to take a much more direct and bold approach to the branding of our profession. I'd rather tell a person that "I'm a Network Marketing Professional" and deal with the discussion at that point than the more indirect approach discussed in this part of the interview. Ultimately there may be a middle ground where we don't use the typical words associated with the way amateurs have described our profession in the past and still deal with it head on.
  • I like the comments about utilizing at least 2 hours a day meeting people face to face..I find I spend way to much time on the Networking sites, emails etc. etc...Thanks for this Eric...and Mark who I respect is very knowledgable.

    Peter
  • it's all about creating intrest and getting them to a meeting so they have a chance to really "see it"... love it
  • Eric, Thank you, I find this interview and information very valuable. I hope one day I will repay you with all you have given me.

Hmmmm Although I like the interview questions and respect Mark's success, his "don't tell" approach in this segment made the hair on the back of my neck stand on end. ... I remember the bait and switch approach used in the late 80's - early 90's of my Amway business and can't imagine that approach bringing success. And that leaves the challenge that if I am wanting to be "coached" than I am not to ask questions and follow his counsel ! ( last segments nugget !)
I"m tuning in for the rest of this to see where it goes ! - Thanks Eric
    Feel better
  • Laurynas Liniauskas (Ireland)
There are many ways to expose, and the one which Mark Yarnell says is a good one I think.
  • Dear Eric, you cough worries me. Get well soon my friend! Sara and I are twisting the fingers for you :).

Mark, you nkow better. Not to use red flag keywords is like redefining the industry.
Like if you wanted to rebrand the business...
    Not bad...
Got to think a litle about it...

    regards
    Alfredo
  • Eric,
    Absolutely AWESOME!!!
Great!!! I listen in every day if I can...and YOU are the one keeping me going!!!
So keep up the AWESOME work, and I am looking orward to tomorrow!!

The psychology of business is amazing.

Although the stereotypical techno-jargon approach can create a negative response I do not agree with the method of secrecy that Mark spoke about in the exposure segment. Basically it's "baffle them with b.s. to get the tool into their hand".

I believe that is part of the reason that people have formed a negative view of the industry in the first place. It wreaks of 'invite them to a party and just as desert is coming out, pull out the white board'.

Sure, Mark's method will work, he has crafted it very well, but can it be done effectively by the majority of people? Probably not!

And before deciding whether you have been taught the right or wrong way please remember that Mark's content, albeit brilliant, is one person's method.

There are other methods that have and continue to work. More importantly, they can be easily reproduced by the majority of people.

Looking forward to the next installment.
  • Well, if this is true, I have been taught the WRONG way to write an e-mail to a prospect.
Thank you Eric for all you do to help us little guys.

  • lior
holy grail network marketing - top to bottom filled with strategies that work.
    (it's yarnell's newest)
  • Fantastic way that Mark explain how you can expose the opportunity to Professional people, that have heard the "pitch" too many times.

For sure I will use it!

    Thanks,
  • Clap if you believe in being a Network Marketing profesional (the career you save may be your own). And once again, another strong endorsement for "Let the tools do the work." Tools (and other pros) can present and train for us. But the prospecting/exposure bit... that's what we're really paid for. Cool, again. Thanks Eric (and Mark)

    Tinker Bell and Units......ICK
  • Bless you Eric. Tough cough. Praying you get well soon. Love Mark's use of words in the exposure process. Much more professional when dealing with professionals. I will certainly take his examples to heart.
