  • I love his concept of picking a mentor. Eric, we don't know each other personally, but like you talk about in Go Pro, a mentor can be someone you do not know but someone you admire in the business. I consider YOU one of my few mentors!!! Great interview. Principle-Less Interest is the key!

This video gave me rock solid belief in our profession. Mark Yarnell is diamond in our industry. Great insights.

Starting from the beginning of these videos and working my way through them is amazing. This was a terrific interview. So much meat.
  • I have never had an upline really take the time to be a true mentor and interestingly enough those uplines have not been successful in their respective companies. Thanks for providing such good mentors through NMP. I understand the importance of being a good example and mentor to those who make the decision to join my team. The fist thing I do is refer them to NMP episode #1

Mark is such an inspiration to me - he used to have a tape set in mid 90's that still stands up as the best training I have ever heard...I wish I could get hold of that set again! I have it somewhere but a tape is missing...I want the whole thing...

I just brought "First Year in Network Marketing". What I will do starting tomorrow ( 1/04/2010) is 2 hours on the phones. I did buy 500 leads and i do have a script to use. If anyone has a website that I can purchase hot leads please reply. Thanks to all!

    Great Interview :)
  • I'm proud to call Mark a fellow Tennessean. Also two things stand out in this interview: 1) the demystification of the hard work and consistent effort that is required for genuine success and mastery within a real, ethical opportunity, and 2) the inevitable predominance of network marketing as a professional field.

I find myself getting more out of the videos in this library on the second pass, and writing down all the valuable points. This has made me appreciate the work it takes to succeed an grateful that I have plugged in to the best mentors in the industry through my own opportunity and also this libary.

Great Interview Love it. I rather do 2 years of this and get off the Retaurant Insustry forever than stay there for 30 years with nothing to show for.

    Thanks Eric.

Have you ever concidered interviewing Richard Kall? If you dont know him, he is the CEO of my company and a friend i could introduce you. I assume you know who he is .
  • Great information. I read Mark's "First Year in Network Marketing" about a year ago. It was great and this interview is a great tool for helping us stay focused. Thanks, Eric for arranging and sharing.
  • Daniel Di Filippo (VEN)
Thanks very much Eric and Mark. This is very useful information, although it seems hard to accomplish it can be done, and consistency will pay out!
  • I can't believe I spent good money on business cards, when I have toilet paper on hand already! LOL Seriously, what an incredible interview. I'm going to watch this oagain and share with others. And I'm going to find my mentor right away.

    Thanks a million!!!!!

I've read Mark Yarnell's book "Your first Year in Network Marketing" and it's really a great adviser for everybody. It's great to be able to see this interview with this icon in the business. I'm convinced that people directly sponsored by him that work with him as he teaches them, will find the 30 prospects a day.
  • Brilliant!!!
I remember speaking with someone a few years ago that really "dissed" Mark and I listened to them...

Needless to say, they have done nothing since....

And Im now listening elsewhere :-)
  • Awesome interview with Mark Yarnell. Hearing from someone who has done it and is as successful as Mark is such a true blessing. Eric, you are really inspiring a lot of people on this show. This is such a tremendous opportunity for anyone in NWM to grow their existing business with integrity and passion. Thanks so much!!

Hey Eric, what a awesome interview again that was great!!!
  • Anna Horton
The fact that you should put on blinders and concentrate on the one thing you are doing and don't be distracted by 'pop ups'.
If that is done, the business would become a part of us.
  • Charles Vogele
Great work Eric Job well done Please keep them coming. I agree with Ana Ines. How would you handle the 30 people per day to talk to, when you are just starting out?
  • My comment is a question actually, Mr. Yarnell says that he would only mentor a person who would commit to 2 hours a day only calling and reaching 30 people during that time. However, when you are starting, you don't have the 30 people per day to talk to! How would he handle that?
    Thanks! :)

It's called a leads list or Mark actually started out by going downtown and passing out flyers as I recall. More than likely there are 30 people on each street around you ;-) ... Getting on the phone is the Key! Overcome your fear! Start dialing for dollars! Whoo Hoo that's what I am doing. Let you know how it works in a year!
