Why? Because I had been approached several times 'the wrong way' so I had developed the limiting belief that networkmarketing equalled "bugging your friends and relations". My defining moment came when I had started with my current company "to sell the services" and some of my customers started asking ME if they could join. Hey, what happened to "bugging". Since then I have learned to approach people NOT to convince them to join, but to give them the opportunity to make up their own mind!

If anyone would have told me 15 years ago that I would be a networkmarketingprofessional now, I would have laughed and sent them to a psychiatrist. I was excited when I heard about the duplication. But I fail in my first network marketing company because I didn't know you yet that time and I choose the wrong company. Then I was introduced to another company by my dad, which I was in now. I have strong confidence on it because I know how to choose the right company from my past experience.
So, I started in this business part time when I studied in university. Before I graduated, I find myself came to a cross road. I was thinking should I go full time in network marketing or find a job and do it as a part timer first. In my country, very few people will go full time in network marketing directly after they graduated because they think it is a waste of the knowledge that we learn in university. Then, here comes my defining moment. One of my senior who involve in sales industry, but not network marketing, knew i was struggling, so he asked me out for a cup of tea one day. And here were our conversation that day.

He asked me: Do you have solid customer base?
I said: Customer base, yes but not quite solid.
He: Do you have confident to make it solid enough for you to survive?
I: Yes, of course.
He: Do you have faith in network marketing, your products, your organization and everything in your company?
I: Yes.
He kept asking: Can you see your future here?
I: Yes, definitely. Or I won't be here as a part timer when I was studying.
He: Then why are you struggling?

This question just like a nuclear bomb bombing on my head. I was thinking, 'hey, why am I still struggling on this question? I have had an answer.' Yes, I did have a very clear direction at that point, it is just I didn't realize it. I have so much passion in network marketing, I love network marketing, I have faith in my company, and I did have skills that enough for me to survive in network marketing also. So, I decided to go full time since that day until now.
I have been a full timer for more than 3 years now. I have built up a very solid organization that able to support me to have a better life than my peers. I take charge of my own life, I have flexible time of working, I earn free trips to Shanghai and Switzerland within this 3 years. I have more time to be together with my family and my girlfriend. All these things are very wonderful.
I thank my senior very much, I still feel gratitude to him. He is neither my up line nor down line, nor a customer, but I really thank him a lot for asking me that last question. So, this is my first and the most important defining moment in network marketing.
Last but not least, Eric, I would like to thank you for all the video clip that you have made. I really learn a lot from you. I totally agree with you that we must go pro in network marketing, and I am teaching my organization to turn into professional like what you have said at the end of every clip too. You are a good leader, and you are one of my mentor in this business.
Thank you very much.

Hi.
I knew about network marketing when i was 17. You truly define what it is to be a professional and certainly encourage me as well as many others to be proud of this amazing profession. I have several defining moments and I know that it is the beginning of many. But, I will share two.
The first one was when I attended our National Conference and was able to really understand the impact of this industry and our company. I was completely "BLOWN AWAY" of not only, the company and the amazing training, recognition and motivation that was received. But, I fell in LOVE for the first time, our company's spirit and the people who make that spirit come alive. There have been many stories and backgrounds that have been shared for those 3 amazing days, and it's very difficult to point out which one stood out to me the most. But, in the end...I realized one thing. That no matter where people come from, the many backgrounds and stories that affect their lives and WHY they are doing this business. One thing is clear....they all know where their heading. That night was a defining moment, because prior to the National Conference, I had a paint brush and a canvas and I thought that was all I needed. But, afterwards...they took the brush I had in my hand and the white canvas I was looking at for months and a beautiful picture was painted and I finally saw the canvas for what it really is....a FUTURE!

The second one, was when I made a goal to sit and talk to my National Vice President...and naturally, you need go through the chain to reach her. But, I decided to ignore all that and I was able to sit with her for 5 minutes only and asked her.."What it took her to get to where she was at?" Now realize during this time...I am going through some major challenges with this business and personal situations as well, but I knew that quitting was definitely not an option for me. All she said was, "You have to DECIDE and stick with it! You have absolutely no excuse for not doing this business." She certainly kicked me in the pants...but I knew what she was getting at. She compared me with people who are doing this business who really are physically challenged, but managed to go through the storm and make it. What excuse do I have?....NONE. So I went to work. Today, I am still passing through the storm, but her words made me realize that there is nothing in this world to stop me, but the LORD himself. I realized that I have to give the LORD His glory and be the BEST that he made me to be everyday and that this business is HIS gift to me. I am grateful to Him, my husband , family, to my upline and to all the people I come across everyday. And I thank you Eric for being such an amazing leader!
Thank you!!

Hi Eric,
First and foremost, Thank you so much for being the wonderful Ambassador of Network Marketing that you are.
