    GENIUS!! NO JOKE-
  • Erik
Yes this is a big one :)
  • Fine, I do exactly this but no matter how much I plan, do and review, I still haven't found a way to duplicate it. Any ideas? Or am I sponsoring the wrong people?
  • Alfie
Fail to Plan = Plan to Fail
  • Great advice - beats insanity - doing the same thing over and over expecting different results
  • Erik
    Yes I agree :)

    Hi Eric,
    Great as always.

And yes, I agree with Roosevelt: for me Doing right now is my Achilles heel.

This episode has made me realize that I have so much to work on. But this doesn't mean I won't. I'm so grateful for this moments. Specially when this influenza "&%=?$?!!! has become number one in our minds _and our moods_ But this is a business that if you stop and let yourself be paralyzed by external influences _"influenzas"_, it won't work.

This episodes make me come back to where I want to be, they put my feet on the ground time and time over.

And I really want to become a NMPRO. And I will!!!
    Take care Eric.

  • Excellent video Eric!

One thing I would add is a big part of the plan do review process is actually DOING what your plan says to do! A lot of people have a plan, but they fail to actually execute on their plan. For example, if your plan is to have conversations with 2 new prospects a day 5 days a week (10 a week), yet at the end of the week, you only had conversations with 5 new prospects a day, the problem isn't necessary your plan, the problem is that you have failed to execute on the plan that you outlined. Now you have to figure out WHY you aren't executing on the plan you have already created.

thank you eric this project of yours is fantastic
helps to gain insights on so many arias
  • Hello Eric,

This is I think by far - the most simple and powerfull method. PDR. Three simple activities that have the ability to change everyone's business. As many have written - I am stuck in the "waiting to plan" stage.
Have had some frastration with many prospects saying NO. Then I saw this magnificent episode and realized - once again: It is all MY thoughts, My beliefs - and yes : My business !!
So in order to start again, this time doing things differently I'd better start with P-D-R and really commit to it every day untill it will become a habit !! and GREAT sucsess is just a matter of time.

Thank you for the wonderfull project you started here, enlighting all of as NM around the globe with so many insights,

    Hi eric!
Thanks for sharing what you know with us. it's amazing how simple it sounds Plan-Do-Review, we just have to make it happend! I will do that and tell you what happends!

    Thanks!
    Love being part of this!!
  • Mastery process! Skills are what make the difference.
This is a concept that should appear as a banner-head for everyone, every organization.
These are vita links in the success formula.

    Thanks for the lucidity, Eric.
  • Great piece Eric - this is absolutely a critical skill set. I've used it for over 15 years and it is the only way to grow in business. If you don't constantly "rewind the tapes" and look for ways to move forward in a more effective, productive way - you'll hit a brick wall and eventually stall out. Well done.

Thanks again for this great insight, Eric. The PLANNING is easy, the DOING takes guts and commitment, the REVIEWING and IMPROVING takes focus and creativity.

I'm now writing my 90-day-Plan which will become effective on May 7th, right after my vacation. Never done this before but now that it's in writing IT WILL HAPPEN! I wish everyone success with this incredible method.
  • I totally agree. A good Plan is essential for success.
And reviewing every once in a while it's what makee the Plan better.

    Love you all

  • Seems so simple, Eric - Plan, Do, Review . But I know there have been many times where I myself have been stuck at planning - so called "getting ready to get ready", and really, I was just procrastinating, ie. start my telephone prospecting and follow up calls. It was because my belief level was not built up enough. So I think this is were a good mentor or coach comes in, to make sure there is strong facilitation from the "Plan 'ning" part to the "Do 'ing" part.
  • Good stuff Eric. I have utilized plan, do review when it comes to tracking my website hits. I've spent the last three years really getting my name in front of the people who would be good candidates for my business.

Just taking the time to make a "soft" contact with several of them has led to some hearty relationships. I have learned that many of the people who are following me or just checking up on me are looking for ways to market online more effectively.

It's taken a while to get to a place of learning that not everybody is looking to change companies. And that's Okay. Some of the folks who follow me have actually become good referrals sources as a result of me helping them understand how to market online.

All this has come as result of multiple plan,do review sessions. I mean a lot of them :):):)

  • The thing I like most about MLM, is the fact that most of the lessons that we learn, or should have learned are applicable in our day to day lives and our other businesses (non MLM) and our personal relationships.

Plan, do, review is something that we should be doing every day in every aspect of life. Kind of and "inspect what you expect" part of the whole goal setting process!
  • Thanks again Eric. You hit another home run. This was often presented as Plan, Do, What Happened?
  • Very important Eris. Plan - Do - Review is essential for anyone's success and especially as a Network Marketing Professional.

    1. Plan for what you need to accomplish

    2. DO IT! This is not about trying it's about doing.

    3. Review your results. Advertising and marketing are NOT a perfect science. What works for the other guy may not work for you.
  • Laurynas L. (Ireland)
This concept PLAN, DO, REVIEW is very powerful and very useful.
Eric, you again helped me. The more skills I get , the faster my organization will grow.
    Thank you ones more.
  • Well Eric, you called me out. I am pretty good at planning, OK with doing, not so great at reviewing. However, your tutelage via NMPRO is helping develop my skills in so many areas. I am currently reviewing many pieces of my plan to go back out and do them better. As always, you rock brother!
  • Jose Padilla (Caracas-Venezuel
Funny how the simplest basic things can slip through the cracksd and go unseen. Nothing better than to have someone that is outside your situation to shed some on this little details.
Thanks for bringing to my attention something that I should be doing more of...

    Cheers

This is the most simple and powerful message!!!!
    Thank you a lot Eric!!!

  • Great video Eric! I find I can apply this to my every day functions, plan my day, review what I did, was it productive? Did I get accomplished what I set out to do? Then make the next day even more productive. I can also apply this to my work at my JOB. Simple techniques but powerful results. It's taking inventory of your day to day which effects your overall life week by week, month by month, year by year. Thank you!!
  • There is a saying, I can't recall who said it: "If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail"

Planning is critical you must know where you are and where you want to go before you embark. Otherwise where you end up might surprise even you!!

The if you plan and don't DO, that plan is as good as foam staircase!

Then, the last part Review, if you believe that everything you planned will simply be the BEST possible way to do it, then you need to humble down a little! Everything can be improved, only if you measure it.

We all sort of know this is critical, but putting it so bluntly and in our faces, definitely enhances its importance.

    Have a nice day!
  • Eric!
Thank you very much for this episode! I wish I have heard of this P-D-R concept years ago, It would have probably save me a few headaches in my life, not just in NM.

Now is time to start planning again!

I hope everyone has a great week!!!!!

Plan - Do - Review. It's so simple but I realize that I've never been consistent in applying this principle... Shame on me! I commit to stick to this basic concept from now.

Thank you, Eric. Most of people need to be told repeatedly about simple things.

    Tanya.

P-D-R. this is very good to follow for anything you do in life. I think that in network marketing, part of this plan do review is also big part of following whatever system you are plugged to in your company. I think for me is important to learn more about network marketing, to make more effective the steps. thank you, jmr

    Hi Eric;

Simply put, "As A Man Thinketh" by James Allen was heaviest little book I have ever read. I remember the day I bought it, I had to have it special ordered. I had been hearing about this book from all the great leaders in the PD industry so I expected a REALLY BIG BOOK and what I got was almost a pamphlet, but man was it heavy in content. But the point of this rant......This last training was so simple.....and easy to digest....it was a great...SIMPLE... reminder to me of exactly where I have fallen down. I am definitely pushing this one out to my team....as I do with all of the excellent content you provide.

    Thanks.
  • Ellis Hubbard
I agree with PDR. I have been doing it unconsciously for several years now (with the notebooks filled up to prove it!) but have to move more effectively to the "do" and "review" side.
For procrastinators such as myself (or who I WAS), the "plan" part is excellent. Finding the inspiration to do the "do" part has been my challenge.

Watching and learning from NMPro has helped me enormously. Thanks a million.
  • Mikhail
I agree with Eric here. There is no easy way to success and often the easy way can only work for so long. I've not seen activity alone work in a leadership factory. The activity first/success first model works great in the short run but I've had first hand experience that over time your ship will run into the ground. It's like the statement "Ignorance on fire." The truth is that once the fire is gone without constant planning and reviewing (improvement) you will just be ignorant.

I've had to keep in mind that my income will be directly related to my ability to lead others. You can't "act" your way into leadership. People have to want to follow you. It's a process that takes time and purposeful effort. I used to belong to a team that thought the same thing (activity first). At the time that I left the company they had achieved only 2 major rank advancements in 3 years. I quickly realized that they didn't plan properly and weren't honest with themselves about the results. Because of that I decided to leave and find a group with strong leadership and even stronger integrity. I wanted to learn from true leaders. Companies don't grow on accident and neither do people.

    I support Plan-Do-Review

    Mikhail
  • Michael,

I disagree my friend and thanks for the challenge! :) Plan-Do-Review will get you where you need to go regardless of where you start. Let's say you were the worst networker on planet earth. If you go out with your terrible skills and zero knowledge, make a plan... do it... then review it, you'll have the ability to make a better plan the next time. No matter what. Then you go with your microscopic improvements to your plan... do that one... then review it, you'll have the ability to make a better plan the next time.

Listen, no matter where you start, if you can improve .3% each day that is 100% growth in year one. 200% in year two. 400% in year three. 800% in year four. 1,600% in year five!

In the end it doesn't matter where you start. It only matters that you diligently apply this principle on a daily basis and you CANNOT be stopped.

Success won't create security. But the development of skills through consistent discipline WILL. If you sit around and wait for success before you apply Plan-Do-Review, I'm afraid you're never going to find it.

    Offered in love and friendship,

    Eric
  • Eric,

I'd like to challenge you a bit. Plan - Do - Review is a good way to improve and develop your business, ONCE YOU'VE PASSED THE BASIC STEPS!!!!

Unfortunately what often happens is that newcommers in NM feels they need a lot of information before they can start to aproach people. Useually this is an effect of personal unsecurity, which they need to reverse by experienceing success. But what often happens to theese people is that they study and plan so much that they never get activity - and honestly, who has the biggest chance of success, the one with activity but no skills or the one who's studied and achived lots of theoretical skills but has no activity.

But once you've started to sell products, and started to create a downline - then I agree plan - do - review, but not before that!
  • Eric. Its always so good to start a month/week/day with inspiring and enthusiastic info such as this.

Thanks for all the vids and everything.

    RR
  • Great Eric...that way your business and your skills will just keep improving....keep up the good work
  • Plan-Do-Review. [PDR] put into action every evening for the day and along the way with projects in development. I have participated in many online programs that produced more income than they cost. The time factor made the effort practically worthless. The plan must have benchmark points to reach. The doing is often an exhilarating high for me and if I didn't do the review I would not actually end up where I really wanted to go.
  • OLIVIA REINOSA MEXICO
    Eric,
It is so simple, and at the same time so powerfull. If we want to have different results, we have to do different things and activities. So we have to review what we are doing and make a different plan to achieve it. And the most difficult thing to do: ACTION. I know a lot of "planners", with marvelous plans that never become a reality.
    PLAN, DO, REVIEW.
I just sat down, with a notebook, trying to figure out what was happening in my business, reviewing the activities I made, and then suddenly I SAW it, I realized that there were some simple activities that I have to do, and that I didn´t. I made a new plan, and I am working on it.
  • Bobby Mitchell, USA
Amazing how much we can get caught up in doing, doing, doing, and doing some more without ever really stopping to review. Or get so caught up in planning that the doing never truly materializes. I can also recall being so critical in my review process that I paralyzed any worth while doing.

This process is simple and as you mentioned Eric if mastered.....we can truly achieve mastery in any skill set we decide to master! Especially with a mastermind of plan, do, review data you are providing here on networkmarketingpro.com!

We appreciate your consciousness and awareness! Will begin consciously planning, doing, and reviewing like never before!! Thanks my friend!

Thanks Eric. Great words of wisdom, need reminded of this course of action. Very easy to let time pass by and not even realize we have not followed even such a smiple path.life events just seem to continualy steal time.
  • Heather Stephens
    Great video! Great message!

I started about a year ago to keep a spiral bound notebook with me at all times, and as ideas on how to improve something come to my mind, I jot them down so I don't forget them. Now, I don't implement everything, because they're not all great ideas, but I've found it gives me honest feedback to how I'm doing and how I've grown. I can also go back to my notes and activity of a great month and follow it like a recipe, when I'm feeling stuck in my business.

    Going Pro!
    Heather Stephens
  • Plan, Do, Review - Awesome simplicity - In order to create the most effective plan, is it OK to teach team members to Plan and Review with their mentor? On the surface, it seems that if the plan is developed with experienced input, the Do is more effective.

    Thanks Eric

  • KREGAR
Hi Eric! Once again - awesome stuff. I'll admit that I have been just a Plan, Do person in the past, but recently have started the Review part and getting to know what I'm doing wrong!
    Thanks!
  • Reviewing is the hardest part of the whole process and when yo get to master it, you just CAN'T STOP IMPROVING!

People usually don't even take a moment to review specially because it can show them that there is something that they are doing wrong and, who wants to be wrong? When I decided to really take a look at my sponsoring process and realized that there were lots of things that could improve, I started planning and doing all over again... and guess what!?!? IT IS FINALLY WORKING OUT FOR ME!! I AM BUILDING MY OWN GREAT TEAM!

Thanks Eric for sharing such a simple secret ;)

  • Hi Eric, this type of show are those which I love the most... Simple concepts, easy application... It's just up to us... Is not something we could build a huge excuse around it not to do it. It's absolutely applicable stuff from the very first second after the show.

Once again, I appreciate the simplifying work you make to go to the key point of some fundamental ideas to become PRO...

    Take care my friend.
  • PLan Do Review... Short and Sweet... Great review again Eric... Thanks for your mentorship...

Question regarding this. How long did it take you to repeat the process until you felt that you were finally a professional using this technique. months, years, 10000 hrs?

  • Stella Webber The Netherlands
I don't do that enough, reviewing how I did things and how to improve the way i did it.
    I know that it's necessary.
It helped me today. With calling a prospect. I knew I wasn't firm enough before when asking which time is good for her to call back when seen the video. Now I did firmly asked what day and what time?
And got an appointment for the next call this way.
    Regards and thanks again.
  • what a great way to start my day...and in this case week! As a tip Eric, stay in Newport Beach...blossoms
behind you look a lot better than the rain and chill here in MN! I agree with everything you've stated in your vodcast today. You are helping me gain clarity re the team I am now co- creating. Being part of this community is an essential first step. It also gives me great confidence knowing your sage advice will keep us on track with building a pro team and not sliding into ANY mediocrity. I agree completely after 15 years of success (up and down in levels of success tho!) in this industry that this is the best time to grow a prosperous team and develop those skills necessary for the posture and leadership skills that people will be attracted to joining. Look forward everyday to learning more!

  • Thanks for the great building blocks we learn each day. This for me was another "aha" moment with a "simple" solution. As a new NWM Pro wannabee I could not understand why the message is constantly metamorphizing in small but believable ways. Well I have another anacronym to follow - PDR - that will be meaningful to me everyday!

I love this simple but powerful concept Eric.
    Plan...Do...Review!
I'm working on my "plan" as we speak.
    Thank you.
  • Hi Eric,

This session reminds me of the famous quotation attributed to Albert Einstein:

"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

You have outlined so clearly how to avoid this pitfall. All we have to do is to review, critique and adjust what we had planned and then carried out. Look at our results! The reviewing part is not always easy, but is an essential first step towards adjusting our plans and actions, so as to get different results than the ones we have been getting.

This is how we can improve our skills in anything we do in life, and specifically, in becoming professional network marketers.
  • Hey Eric,

Powerful but simple concept, I often tend to get stuck in the Do part without the forward planning, which can lead to incorrect actions and a sense of overwhelm.

Thanks for this simple but powerful strategy.

    Warm regards

    Grahame Brown (UK)
  • Plan Do Review is a powerful concept which can be applied to all areas of life. Thanks Eric I will challenge myself to get better at recording my thoughts and reviews to get them on paper so that I can re-review them regularly, commit them to memory and become that much more skilled.
