Especially point 3 and 4 I have to work on. Living on purpose is a great concept for meeting people also actively searching to get to know people is a great concept I have work on for myself.

One question for anyone who can enlighten me on this…

When I’m living on purpose. Like meeting people that for example gave me great service in a shop or restaurant. How can I get their contact information in an approriate way, what do I say? Do I just compliment them on the service and tell them I have a business that might hold an interest to them or do some of you have some more suggestions?

Hello Eric,

Thank you for having such a helpful and (unselfish) website.

A few questions about “the journal,” keeping contact lists, and not doing unnecessary duplicate work, etc:

1.) OK. I am keeping a journal, as you mentioned. However, in order to follow-up w. each prospect, I then transfer all pertinent information to an index card, create a tickler file, etc.

Is this the way that you’re suggesting to use to follow/keep up w. contacts?
Also, what happens if you lose the journal? Tks for your time.

get one of those programs that teach you how to type! when I was in high school, we used this programme called tap touche or tappe touche or something like that. it was french, but I'm sure there is an English version.
