NMPRO #97 – Pay Closer Attention to Your Faith

July 14th, 2009 Email This

We are now just 3 shows away from our 100th episode anniversary.  I’m so excited to share with you the Number One Untold Secret of MLM Rockstars but that will have to wait.  Today’s show is short, sweet, IMPORTANT, and offers a cameo from one of our earlier rockstar interviewees.  Enjoy!  Question of the Day (QOTD): On the plane today, I added up how many countries I’ve visited.  How many have YOU visited? (and layovers don’t count)

I have a strong faith in our profession. I have a strong belief that I would become one of the rock stars like you and your cameraman. :P

AOTD: Too bad, I only visited one outside my country. I will add one on June 2010, and hopefully it will be the start of my journey to different countries. I'm still young. (^_^)/*

Great city , I have been there and I loved amsterdam,
    I think 8 Countries
  • I have faith in a new era to come up, where everything will be just perfect.

Countries: Italy, Belgium, Spain, USA, The Netherlands, and Turkey.

    Love you all
    Alfredo Rodrigues
  • Hi Eric,

I was a little confused with today's show. When you refer to "faith" are you referring to faith in God or whatever higher power you believe in or are you referring to faith that you will be successful in your network marketing business? Please clarify, thanks!

QOTD - I live in the United States and I have visited 3 other countries thus far. I've visited Canada, Mexico and Trinidad & Tobago.
  • Re: QOTD, about 14, working on another 4 or 5 this year.

As far as faith, its a key element for anyone who has times of doubt... that would be everyone. If you have doubts, you need to back to your faith in your plan, faith in yourself, and faith in whatever you let go of your destiny to, God, Universe, a better way... for me it is a faith that in the belief I make a difference with what I say and do.

Thanks Eric for the post, and reminds me, Dam Square in Summer is nicer than in the wintertime!

    Hi Eric (and Randy ;-)...
Answer on QOTD: been to... let me count... more then 10 countries ... but offcourse want to see more...

The monument is a war monument for those fallen in WWII. The building with the clock is a palace of our Queen... sorry i didn't told you about more places to see in Amsterdam at MasterMind EU 2009... next time!

From Amsterdam, The Netherlands ... greetings and see you at Agel World 2009!

    Hi Eric,

Thanks for an inspiring weekend here in Amsterdam! It was great listening to you and Randy.

In February I was also at the I am Agel event in Antalya Turkey and I dragged my 78 year old parents there with me, to make them understand why I was doing Agel and why this company had touched my heart. When my father was listening (translated in Turkish) to Glen Jensen and you, he got tears in his eyes and said "Girl, now I understand why you insisted us coming here and capture this feeling! In the 21 years you have been married, I have always believed in you and that real success will come. And now I know you guys are at the right place." So for making an old man happy and proof he was right all along, I too thank you!!!

    Namaste!
Ipek Faydali (the girl that bought you the cowboyhat)
& Peter van Dartel ("the NLP guy")
  • What is most incredible of this video is seeing the world through Randy Gage eyes, the camera man
    hahahahahaha
Is a good way to identify with one of my great leaders
    have a nice time guys

In response to QOTD... three that I have visited. More if you don't count the UK as more than one. I am looking forward to traveling again. Right now I am having to keep my life smaller than I want in my heart because I intend to be in control of it. Large life got away from me when the MS first hit.
So I would like to say Thank you for being there for us. I have found several bad habits I need to work on before I can feel like I am a true NMP.
  • Because of this video I will travel to Utah in September. See you there guys.
    Thank again Eric and Randy.

  • Hey guys, it’s nice to travel with you, good shots camera man! hahaha. Say hello to Randy. About faith, the book The Science of Getting Rich
By Wallace D. Wattles. Is awesome. Free audio book here.

Have a great time in Amsterdam.

  • I really like this new touch.... throwing out a word and letting us take it further.

Personally, I prefer "conviction" to faith because it has the flavor of intentional commitment, based on investigation and due diligence. Makes for taking responsibility. Brings to mind the "Inner Motivation" that Richard Bliss Brooke focuses on.

"Faith" entails surrender, albeit to a higher power, but in matters of business: G-d helps those who help themselves.

BTW, since I've brought this around to "conviction", and -hopefully- you are still with Randy, any progress on a debate with AS?
  • Faith is important and not just the religious kind but a faith in yourself is very important.
QOTD: 20/25 if you want I'll start naming them...lol
    PS Holland is one...
  • QOTD:only 7 but 28 states... most with an address.

If you don't have faith no explanation will change that. Faking it ... does not make it in my experience. Everyone though believes in something they cannot explain. Spending time there will provide a clue on how to build on it. I know people who believe [faith in action] that 1 plus 1 equals 2. Unfortunately that is only an invention, a creation of thinking and is not the truth. It works however.
  • AgeLocLady
Right On! Wish you would have expanded on that importance though. Too many people just don't understand why.
  • Being an entrepreneurial pastor, I know the deal about paying close attention to my faith. Thanks for the short and timely reminder.

  • Eric, you hit the nail on the head today!!!!

One's "FAITH" is critical to their success to being a Professional Networker.

Napoleon Hill's "THINK & GROW RICH" addressed faith in chapter 3. It was his second step to riches.
    Desire was his first step.

Using Think & Grow Rich as a guide couldn't hurt this group. It's free on the Internet. One the top builders
uses it as a tool in his Mentoring for Free series. No I'm not of that group.

Paying attention to others faith could bring clues to their openness to a networking profession.

    Enjoy Europe.

Faith is a major motivator for many people so making sure we use our faith as a leverage instead of as a hindrance!

    Gracias!!!

    Federico
  • Great advise today Eric... Beyond the Self Development and Money thing.... I Truly believe your faith or lack thereof has a direct and unescapable effect on your success in life.

QOTD: I've visited 2 other countries. Canada and Cuba.

  • wlee
That really was short and sweet! Spiritual faith, faith in the business, or both? That enigmatic smile left me wondering... But how long are you going to keep us hanging for the 100th episode and big reveal? I've had Friday marked off on my calendar ever since you mentioned your special 100th anniversary show. I have been to nine countries, including South Africa for 6 months 1975 to 1976 when I was 20. Apartheid was in full swing and Nelson Mandela was till in prison on Robyn Island. Life changing. More to come with the help of network marketing
  • Great clip...love the camera work Mr. Gage! Faith is an important piece in life it gives strength, hope, love, balance and togetherness. I think in today’s fast paced life it can be easily overlooked...”pay closer attention”…great message!

    Countries: 18
  • Darrick

  • Nice place there in Amsterdam. I have never been in Holland.
QOTD: I visited 12 countries in Europe, I've never been oversees.
  • folamarchgirl
    nice one
  • As you mentioned Amstedam I though "Ha, I know someone else who's there." Then - ta da!!!! His face appears from behind the camera :-)

I think Randy must have somethng going on with his sexiness. After saying he's better looking than you.. and then saying he wants to be a sex symbol like Art... :-) He knows I thinks he's gorgeous! Nothing else amtters really :-)

You are all deliciously sexy in your owns ways - there's no comparison!

So cool to see you two playing together! What fun!

QOTD: but the layovers had such joy - phenomenal synchronicity and sheer delights..... Captured moments of intense life force and bizaar moments of madness... They HAVE to be counted ;-)
  • hey U2
