I'm so pleased to have been directed to this video. I agree with your perspective. The Internet is an amazing tool when used PROFESSIONALLY. This unfortunately is not the case with far too many people. I have built all of my organizations in 6 companies over 31 years through Warm Market and Extended Warm Market. The Internet as you suggest can be a valuable adjunct tool with your warm market. The unified phrase for the abusers might be"SPAMORONS" Thanks.
I wish Mr Gage would have told us what to do, instead of what not to do! I think you have to incorporate both online and offline to grow your business.

Thank you Randy for clarifying how to use the internet effectively. I agree that we need to connect with people. I really like your line: "now I'm unfollowing you. " I plan to use it often.

"We need to come up with a unified phrase that we can ALL use as a response when people try to spam their opportunity or act obnoxious about their product or company online. What should it be?"

How about "Hoser" (Like water hose) because they are flooding the community with there spamming.

Eric and Randy,

I have been doing online marketing for about a year and a half now, and i couldn't agree more. I think it is very hard for new network marketers to contain themselves online because of their new excitement combined with the indirect communication of the internet. They feel it is easier because they are just talking through a screen. You can't build a network marketing business entirely online. Like Randy said if you can't tell your mother what product your selling or your best friend you are in the wrong business. However i do feel that if you provide enough VALUE you can recruit in an indirect way, because people are attracted to leaders providing value and training. Not regurgitated training from some other guru that was spun 10 different times, but real informative VALUE. The backbone of network marketing is always be your warm market Why? Because it DUPLICATES. Its not what you can do but what you can duplicate. That is why the internet is such a double edged sword. It is very hard to duplicate or do properly from the get go.

Thank You Eric for all of your value.

-Lawrence

Should you "pitch" your family and friends? No. Should you offer them a chance to look at your business? Of course.

-RG
