  • AWESOME!!! Thank you again! Lisa you rock! I did the same thing...blew out the product, put together a team and started singing..."Is that all there is"...NO it is not all there is...it is just the beginning!
  • Great video! I spent a whole 8 months building a fairly large organization to watch it crumble, as I recruited the wrong people.
  • I am going to make an assumption the company was NSA (National Safety Associates) or a company prior to NSA. I was invited by a friend to review . We scheduled a meeting at my home and her upline came by and gave us a presentation. We liked (I liked, the wife didn't) what I saw and joined. I became a "Regional Director" (I believe) it cost me $9,000 in water filters. I had product all over the house including an air filtration system and a whole house filter. This is what is know as a "front load." Which is now "illegal." It was common practice in the 90's.

As Lisa said. once you've sold you friends $5,000 in product and they haven't sold any product (we didn't) They aren't to happy to be friends with you any more! I'm still friends with those people that signed s up.

What did we learn from Lisa???? Have the right "LIST" of people to contact! {Also you need to be sold (believe) on what you're doing}.

  • Great Interview... WOW Thanks for sharing Lisa!! :)
  • Contacted 15 new people over the weekend: 10 with a DVD and 5 with a website address. But if it wasn't for your 72 hour challenge I may not have followed through. I felt you were looking over my shoulder and I knew I would be returning to Network Marketing Pro on Monday. Had to save face. Having you as a surrogate sponsor is a big help. Thanks.
  • Eric, Here are some ideas about yours and Randy's search for a line for MLM morons:
    1. I'm actually looking for an illegal pyramid scheme, is this one?
    2. Unless this is one of those opportunities where I can alienate my friends and family, I'm not interested.
    3. Unless this is one of those opportunities where I can spam people email hype I'm not interested.
    4. I'm really looking for a way I can **ss off my friends and family, is this it?
  • makerofstuff
Regrouping... contacted and showed my 10 people, no one is interested because everyone is afraid of going broke. One person asked if Dave Ramsey is okay with this. *sigh*
Life is good, talking to someone again this afternoon. Not going to give up ever.
  • ericworre
Hmm, tell me how you contacted them and exactly how you showed them your opportunity.
  • AOTD: ¿Should I walk to downlines that are not interested? I will not waist my time trying to motivate people who are not motivated by themselves. If they don't call, I don't call, If they don't send anb email, I don't. I match what they do. I only have one downline right now who wants to work. With her I will do the plan for the week.
  • ericworre
Only the ones who are interested. Start with the one and build from there.
  • OK Eric, I spoke to a 3º generation downline, (the only who is working in that 6 people leg) and tomorow we are going to do the plan for the week.
    Thanks again.
  • Thank you Eric and Lisa!
This is so much-needed experience that Lisa shared, and we just have to learn from the leadres like her to avoid the same mistakes... or to fix them the sooner the better. Lisa is amazing - very straightforward and authentic.

Endlessly grateful to you Eric for spreading this information.
  • Great interview... Lisa seems very down to earth and has more hands on content rather than theories.. Any plans to interview more of the ladies Eric? ..
  • ericworre
    Absolutely!

We will see soon in Salt Lake City, Utah
  • ericworre
That's right! You WERE there! Hahaha. You had a behind the scenes look. :)
  • Enrique
I can finally can related with someone who is succesful in Network Marketing.. She is teaching by example instead of preaching and generalities.
  • Starfleet Commander?! I have to admit, if my company had levels that were titled after Star Trek titles, I might be forced to go where no man has gone before...

Great interview, and here's why- it's a good "first timer" video- it helps a first timer to set their expectations and understand a few things.

This is in the direction that I wish this show would go- to the VERY new person. I feel like this show is directed at the experienced person so far- does that makes sense? I look forward to watching the rest!
  • ericworre
Yeah, that makes sense. Wait until you see the 2nd part of the interview!
  • Great interview. Look for 'runners' who are willing to "work." I love "Chase the Fire!"... MLM Movie. How not to be the issue is a key to success... "your challenge to fix" is a great definition for responsibilty.
  • Rachel
    Great ! wonderful ! Amazing ! Beautiful ! Touching ! Unforgetable !
I wished I'd know how to write a lot of words to express how I feel....
... I'll keep this interview as something very precious to me and I will show it to all the women here in our group .....
Thank you Eric Worre for bringing Lisa
and thank you Lisa for sharing your experiences , your life and your believes .

I just wanted to say... Thank you Eric =) You are inspirational.
  • What an awesome interview...wow, wow, WOW... can't wait for part 2
  • Eric, what a coup, interviewing Lisa Grossman. She has such great information to impart to everyone. It's all in the basics, learning one step at a time.

Your comment about "building and killing and building and killing and rebuilding and....." is SO profound! Most people don't realize that Successful marketers go through the same process over and over until they realize that they need help and find it... and then keep on learning. In order to get where you are going, you need to do the work and take the steps to get there!

Thanks for your contributions to our profession, and for this terrific series with Lisa :-) She is a classic and I am fortunate & blessed to call her friend!
  • This is going to be a great interview.. I loved part 1..
