As a journalist - a true, honest, and compelling interview. Job well done. It shows that we do have peaks and valleys and Lisa is a perfect example. She got knocked down when she left for ClubFed (Love that name LOL) but the true measure of the person she is occurred when she picked herself up in prison and blazed her trail to where she is today. Thanks for sharing Eric.

These interviews are so powerful. Tell the story. My goal is to affect thousands of lives and effect the way they live.
  • GREAT Interview! I took 2.5 pages of notes. I love her down to earth simple approach and her courage to share a major "valley" in her life. I think it is as important for all of us to hear about those times as it is to hear about the "peaks" that are available to us in this Profession! Thanks for Sharing Lisa.

Oh, and, I think she might have eluded (maybe w/out even knowing) in her defining moment about your "secret" you failed to share w/ us in #100! LOL Am I warm?

So grateful for NWMP and these interviews, especially the uncut versions, are remarkable. Teachers each of them. Of course it is fantastic to see a woman being interviewed but what strikes me about Lisa is not that she is a milllion dollar earner, but is her approachability. I have been exposed to many NWM female 'leaders' and have so many times found myself struck by their facade, not their content or heart or sincerity. There have been very few. So, this interview, for me, spoke to character in a way that was very tangible. Thank you.

Lisa, you say at one point that there is way too much hipe around the word integrity but girl, integrity oozes out of every single pore of your body! And that is more than inspiring for me! Thanks for sharing a your own personal story!

  • This interview with Lisa Grossman provides a wealth of lessons and tips for Professional Network Marketers. However, from my own perspective, the ADDED VALUE she gives here relates to the shifting role of women in the business world, and in this profession specifically. The role of women is shifting, but it is not happening fast enough. If more women than men are making money from network marketing, why is it that the biggest checks are usually generated by men?
This is a profession with no inherent glass ceiling for women. This is not a corporation where women are expected to subordinate their career ambitions to the expectations of their masculine colleagues, their husbands and society at large.
Ladies in the network marketing profession are free to earn as much as they can...so why don`t they stand up more often to fulfill this potential, with the same determination that men do?
Why is the percentage of women, among the top earners, not equivalent to the percentage of women in this profession who are making some money?
The problem may stem from limiting beliefs. Many women are stuck in the socially accepted convention that it is the man who is the primary financial provider, and although it is acceptable for women to work for some additional income, or for the opportunity of getting out of the house, it is still the man who is "supposed to" take care of the financial needs of the family. In the current social structure and the conventional job market, there may be some logic behind this. However, the network marketing profession, more than any other kind of business, serves as an equalizer between men and women.

Ladies, wake up! This is something you can really reach top ranks in! Just get rid of your limiting beliefs, and start doing what you are supposed to! Do this with honesty and integrity, and people will follow you!
    The sky is the limit!

  • First of all... Eric, thank you for providing this service for the MLM profession... and for these great video interviews. I've known Lisa for 20 years... who is one of the most common-sense, brilliant, matter-of-fact, networkers on the planet. Talk about tenacity, school-of-hard-knocks, and savvy. Lisa is proof that if you never-give-up you will be successful in network marketing. Art Meakin

    Hello Eric,
Lisa has a great story which I found extremely motivating, so thanks for bringing us this interview.
I love watching all your interviews and although I have missed a few shows out of the 115, I have watched every interview. I do have a comment/feedback/suggestion though - one thing I find distracting in your interviews is when the person you are talking to is talking, most of the time you talk over them with your own experience. I noticed Lisa seemed to get distracted by it, as I did in the interview you did with Randy Gage in Amsterdam on the boat.
So, perhaps in future interviews you could ask your question, let the person answer then ask your next question?
Thanks so much for a great internet show.
    Mary :)
