August 30th, 2009 Email This

This week we’re going to focus on common viewer questions.  The first is about Time Management, what Jim Rohn calls “The best kept secret of the rich”.  Today I offer some solid advice on how to manage your time most effectively.  Assignment of the Day (AOTD):  In the next 24 hours, do at least four focused, distraction free, 30 minute sessions and post your results below.

OMG...THIS IS THE HOLY GRAIL FOR THOSE OF US WHO HAVE SO MUCH GOING ON IN LIFE! Eric....You're the man! I heard someone say this before but they didnt take a sec to explain.

I always believed that you have to work for hours....I've tried it previously...w/ no success. I'd get bored, confused on what to do 1st, etc. But now...just focusing on money generating activity during those sessions is gonna be easier than ever for me. I'm at my job right now...will do my 1st 30 min session tonight at home.

    God bless.

I heard it a few months ago but lost the message again. I will start use this :)
  • Thank You, This is something I've been thinking of a great deal lately ! Most people I know as well myself need better time management skills . Great Idea.
  • Great advice Eric!!! Thanks!

Great stuff Eric - "secrets" of the top producers is always fun ... now sharing with my entire team who always talk about not having enough time... appreciate you - thanks! Paula
  • Great tips Eric! With 3 little ones running around, it's always hard to block out a few hours at a time...but 30 minute chunks can be done MUCH easier. Easier on the psyche as well....

    Best to you,
    Scott

Thank you Eric, This is great! I can already think, what I'm doing in the next 30 mins meanwhile I'm handling other things.

    brilliant, now this is DUPLICATABLE....thanks!!!
  • Wow this is so funny!

Yesterday I got to my business briefing early so I locked myself in the meeting room for 30 minutes and made follow up calls. It worked very well, Left some voice mails, sent some follow up emails and even had one of my downline associates do a 3 way call for me for one of my own personal prospects. Fantastic tip Eric!

HI Eric, I accomplished quite a bit today! My Chiropractor said he would continue to use the product and wants to put a few patients on it. My neighbor said she is going to try the product and if she has success she is on board. Great Day! Thanks so much for your encouragement.

Great advice to heed myself and pass-along, Eric!
  • Too awesome Eric.. Short and Simple.. This was a subject I was thinking about during my workout this morning.. 30 minute bursts for an extended period of time..

    Can't wait for tomorrow's episode.
See you SLC.. By the way if you need a cameraman there, I'm available.
  • AGAIN, Eric looking at himself on the computer... Geez Worre- can you stop?

    Eric,

Duh! I thought I was organized..not so much with dealing with distraction and then regrouping only to get another distraction. Running my business deserves no less than focused time intervals and 30 minutes at a time I can do!!

Gheez, how simple and yet how so far away. My team thanks you too.

Quick question..are Binary compensations good, bad, ugly? Your thoughts will be greatly appreciated as this is new to me as of last evening.
  • Excellent advice - keep it short but productive!
  • Of all the fantastic advice on this site, this is the one thing that will have the biggest effect on my business.

    Thanks :-)

  • Eric, I completely agree. (don't get used to it...)... just kidinf master! :)

And if you are able to create a system, based on your companies system, that allows you team not to have to do much, it will become even more productive. Those 30 minutes may become hours of focused work.

    Love you all

  • Excellent advice Eric, I get so many excuses from my TEAM that they don't have time etc. etc. etc. I keep trying to tell them that we ALL have the same time 24 hours per day/ and it's how we use that time that matters, but this idea of 30 minute increments is something I never thought about....Thanks and keep up the great training on MPPro.
