NMPRO #142 – Re-Programming Yourself for Success in MLM – 4 of 4

September 17th, 2009 Email This

In the final installment of our 4-part training on how to re-program yourself for success, we discuss going from Crisis… to Survival… to Success… to Significance!  Question of the Day (QOTD): Gary Vaynerchuk (http://www.winelibrary.com & http://www.garyvaynerchuk.com) and I have a wager as to who will have the best regular season record between his New York Jets and my Minnesota Vikings but we can’t think of what the stakes should be.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

This will turn into a classic lesson :) Thank you

Just FYI you're in my Top 5.

My sponsor, my brother, my business partner (Daniel), and of course you Eric.

    Thank you sir.

Mission: "Re-Programing".... This message will self destruct in 9..8..7..6..5..4..3..2.. =)

Brilliant explanation Eric. I think we all need to realize that people who are living between success and significance are not immune from crisis. The difference is that they can manage crises much better, and in some cases turn them into great opportunities. From experience I have found that not infrequently, some of the greatest blessings in life come disguised as crises. Actually, the recurrent expectation of blessings in crisis could very probably be an indication that we are living in that territory between success and significance.

Eric, it is amazing to me how you always seem to say exactly what I need to hear.

Friday was a difficult day for me. I was practically bludgeoned with negativity by someone very close to me....someone who has been programming me for years that I don't deserve to be successful. A few moments with this person can take me from being in a very good mood to feeling sad, angry, and wondering what the hell just happened!

I finally made the decision to disassociate with this person, at least temporarily, even though I know it will be very hard. I am so grateful that I have you as one of my five to influence me every day. I know that with your inspiration, and the help of my wonderful fiancee (who also watches NMPro), I will be able to not only get through it, but to get past "survival". I thank you so very much.

    Beth
  • ericworre
Beth, congratulations! The decision to disassociate is difficult, but sometimes it's the only way to survive. I'm proud of you for taking that courageous step. I'm happy to be one of your five!

Hi Eric, it's Beth's fiance. I'm also very proud of her big step. I always say that if network marketing had an award show she would win the Perserverance Award.

I can't thank you enough for this wonderful resource. This is the best life changing content I've ever seen in this profession. Eventually when we have a network marketing award show, I would nominate you for The Life Changer Award (and I wouldn't let Kanye anywhere near the stage).

Thanks for being one of our five.

I have just completed the full series from the start , some great concepts and advice , and this was the best , you seem to keep raising the standard
    Thanks
  • ericworre
    Awesome. Good work!
  • lelliott
So many tend to turn a blind eye to network marketing training. What you do, Eric, is train us for life survival. The messages we receive from you can be applied to almost all walks of life. Our hope for a better and more secure tomorrow depends upon reprogramming our lives. Thank you for pounding it into my head, but as you said, another 8 hours of this series would be time very well spent!
  • ericworre
    So glad you're getting value
  • HI Eric,

This 4 part series is the best of NMP ever! Thanks so much! Acctually it hit me right on as I saw myself in two of your descriptions. First in the example of going to the beach or not. I was acctually lauching a lot while watching that one because most of my friends who did not join me on MLM has started to complain that I never have time for them...and the second one the one going from crisis to survival - THAT my fried is me in a nutshell....thanks for pointing it out!!!!

Love your stuff Eric, hope it will be available as podcast soon!
  • ericworre
Working on podcast stuff and MUCH more coming soon!
  • David Weston

    Thank you
  • ericworre
    Cool post. Thanks!
  • Eric,

Probably 4 of the best videos you have done......Excellent my friend and pleasure watching your training!
QOTD - Sorry Eric I don't watch much "football" - Tired of watching overpaid athletes living their dreams when I can build my business so I can live my own...
  • ericworre
    Thanks Peter
  • alexanderpadilla
Great series Eric. Thank you so much for being a strong leader and trainer. You have clarified what we have analyzed and over complicated.
  • ericworre
True. Much of the real information to improve is simple. The trick is believing in it!
  • Hi Eric, thanks for posting this weeks series, it truly demonstrates what ought to be obvious to so many, yet so many don't look and review their programming, their attitude, it all starts with what is in our minds, our desires which lead to real actions / activity.

I remember you saying once that it doesn't matter in the beginning that we lack the skills, if we would simply engage in the disciplines, the daily activities, the results will materialise. Too many neglect the activities at the first hurdles, the first family member rejection, the friend whom you thought would join you, but didn't.

I thought the videos this week, remind us all that we have to continually look at 'our programming' and the activities we say we're doing, but are we! Keep motivating and inspiring everyone in this great profession of Network Marketing. My Hat off to you. :-) Regards, John.

    Well said sir

Wow! What an awesome 4 part series. This series is one for the Best of the Best archives! :)
  • ericworre
Thanks! I liked it too :)
  • grahamdowning
Eric, I was there when you recorded this and I spoke to you afterwards and said that just this breakout session alone was worth the trip from London. Thanks for putting this on NM Pro. After watching it again I got a few more little golden nuggets of info that hit home. Absolutely Priceless !!!
  • ericworre
I remember your comment and thinking how cool it was. Glad to be of service my friend.
  • Excelent info, specially because it's like a mirror someone placed in front of each and everyone of us. Each one of us, have the exact look on the mirror we deserve. Can we change it?

    Only if we want!

So the lesson I took from here is:

Are we happy with what we have, think, feel? If so, it's ok...

If not, it's a matter of changing the mind set... the Programming...

We probably only have this life to live, why bothering doing things we don't like, we don't want, we don't believe in?

What do we really want? Schedule a meeting with yourselfs and find that out...

Love yourselfs like no other can do!

And love the ones that loves you!

Expect for the best, and you will have the best.

Expect for the worse, and guess what...

    Love you all

    Alfredo Rodrigues
  • Awesome training Eric. You are the man.

    Thanks.
  • donham298
    This was a great series.
    Thanks
  • QOTD- One of you spanks the other one on BOTH of your shows.
With a paddle branded with the winner's website:

"WHO is spanking Gary Vaynerchuk with a paddle?"
  • This was a great series- pretty much explains a lot of my life of ups and downs. I was JUST getting used to success and survival, and then I dipped back towards crisis, and have been bouncing between the bottom again.

I know no one else on here will admit that, but I'm not about hiding.

It would seem that if we just kept our eye on the quest for significance, the other stuff might take care of itself. Then again, ask Don Quixote.

So then the next logical question is- How do we re-program ourselves the best? NLP, Hypnosis, books, tapes, cds, cults, EFT, sleeping cds, Silva, Holosync, flashes of words on your computer, millionaire mind intensives, associations...? So many "proven" ways to reprogram, but none that have unquestionable results.
  • davidpierson
Well if you win, he sends you some really nice bottles of wine, he winds, your best coaching and marketing tips for a weekend??

    yours,

    David
  • Dmitry1
Eric! This 4 sessions really explained all my life strugle and failure. I have no words to say how this info is vital for all people. Thank you so much!!!!
  • I suspect we all experience different parts of life where we may exist in any of the 3 areas. Some may have found a way to get all 'cylinders' in sync. Amazing how we all appear to sabotage ourselves at exactly the worst/best moment. It ain't Murphy doing it.

QOTD: From my view you are stealing whatever Gary offers. One change from earlier posts is I’d have Gary give you a case of wine if he wins and you give him four cases of your favorite four products if you win. You win again either way.
  • I was given a copy of the T. Harv Eker book in October 2007, and I read it again every October. This is a series I'm going to have to watch again. Great job Eric!

    QOTD:
    I like teambodie's answer too
  • Eric, just outstanding training here my friend....some of the best I've seen.

QOTD: I do like teambodie's suggestion, but I also think that whoever loses should go on the other person's show wearing the other team's jersey. Oh, and he should give you a case of wine and you could give him a case of .....I don't know, your product....or, whatever!
Whatever you decide, I can't wait to see it all play out. Should be fun. LOL!
  • I believe we have a new standard on NM Pro for a series of video.. THIS ROCKS!!

    Thanks Eric,

    BB

QOTD: Not That it matters, But I think the loser needs to take the winner to an away game at the winner's FIERCEST rival in their division and wear the winners jersey. Rooting for them very loudly. Gary I hope you like Green Bay in December in a Brett Farve Minnesota jersey and yellow wig and horned helmet.
  • billrogers
Fantastic series Eric!! Your best yet! We should all be so grateful, I know personnaly I am. You keep it so simple abd easy to understand. All we need is to plug into the equation and continue the daily disciplines.

    God Bless!!

  • CalR
Mr Worre, I have absolutely loved this last 4 videos of you maybe more than any you have posted this far on NMPro. Thank you so much for your insights.
  • Amazing series Eric...thank you for this training. And...I do have a suggestion for your wager with Gary Vee... a nice bottle of 1928 Krug ... with the loser donating the actual dollar value to the charity of the winner's choice ...
  • Amazing to see and hear this again Eric. You're the best, thanks again for everything you share with all the people inside our proffession. Best regards, your biggest fan. Can't wait to see you again at Go Daimond SF. Take care...
