Great show. I really love NYC, its never a dull place to be. I copycatted you btw. I took me about 10 times, but I scripted you and am going to use it. Its refreshing to be in an field where sharing is ok. I have been in sales for 10 + years and tops sales people rarely share anything.

  • Hi Eric, great stuff.
Have you ever tried this: interview a real non-scripted prospect in front of the camera, so that we can see you use some of these techniques real-time? They sound really good... it would also be quite compelling to see them in action. It would also be very fun and educational, I think...
    Thank you!

  • donham298
If I told you about it--would you watch it? Actually, I hope you don't watch it.
My worst movie of all time is Viva Las Vegas. On my last day during my first tour in Vietnam I saw this movie 6 times in 1 day at the movie house in Danang. There was not much to do while waiting for the come home bird. I came home on a Continental flight and do you want to guess what movie they were showing. You--Viva Las Vegas with Elvis.

My favorite all time had to be Fiddler on the Roof.
    Thanks for the tips.
    Don

well, obviously, I see not too many movies .. I am not a movie gal, at all but .... I loved today's training! If I .. would you? I will be teaching this at our upcoming Texas Event (and will give you credit for the idea) -- We teach the Pre-Approach Packet, the Hand-Out Packet .. and this goes PERFECTLY for the words to say before you 'reach out' and hand it over! Thank you! Go Cowboys!
  • latachia_2
If I would you....Great Stuff! Kathy,I like those kind of movies as well.
Barbara Striesand The Way We Were, Bert Renolds .Smokey & the Bandit ,The Lion King,Nine Lives of Fritz the Cat ,I like mostly the ones that can make you laugh. The Love Bug is very Funny.
  • If I had some spirit today, I would say something funny...
If I new what to write, I would do it
If I new this Industry 30 years ago, I would be talking and you would be listening... (and the again...)

    Matrix 2
    Matrix 3
    Matrix 4
    Matrix 5
    Matrix 6
    Matrix 7
    Matrix 8
    Matrix 9
    Matrix 10
    oopss...
This is just not my day...

    Love you all
    Alfredo Rodrigues
  • In your words Eric you are so 'solid' in your approach that it is comforting. I could say 'oh I know all this, have heard it all before etc. etc.' but instead I said to myself 'until I am a diamond I will not say that I know it!'

Looks like you are really having fun. :)

One of my fave films is 'Bridges of Madison County' (tear jerker)
  • Thanks again Eric. From Germany.
    Here's a few:
Dead Poets Society !! .. had a profound influence on me.
Star Wars, when I was a kid, changed my life. There is a lot of wisdom behind the flashy scenes and I felt it the moment I saw my first Star Wars as a 6 year old. A sence for and being interlinked with "the force" is not as far off as many think.
Guys and girls, I know you might smile at this, but Thomas Magnum changed my life as well, 25 years ago ;)
Magnum PI's casual life style and humouristic taint, paired with the serios face of his job and his apparent strong quality in it, his sporty - fit consiousness and the red Ferrarri .. what a combination ..

    And:
Network Marketing Pro - you are what I watch daily and are changing my life TODAY. Very valuable. Thank you, Eric Magnum Skywalker!
  • ERIC you are wonderfull, you are a great leader that you know all what we need :), Thanks,

  • Nice meeting you last night Roosevelt!
  • hpena
Great tip. Great way to stay professional when building your business.

QOTD: Big Trouble in Little China, The last Dragon, Matrix Trilogy, Back to the Future Trilogy, Pi, Transformers (original animated version). I could go on for a while.
  • Big Trouble in Little China! Transformers- Original Animated Version!

    Truly, excellent taste.
  • Hey Eric, thanks for sharing the fun with us but even more this tip, I'm using it for a while now and I've to say it works. It's not pushy, it's attractive and at least when x says yes, it gives you the real chance to follow up closely.

QOTD: not very recent movies but here are a few classics I'll remember Kill Bill/Fight Club/Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love, Le grand bleu/Matrix/ Last of Mohicans/ City of Angels/Natural Born Killers/ Pulp Fiction/ Albino Alligator/ Crash (96)/ Trainspotting/ 8mm/ Face/Off / Lost Highway/ American Beauty...

    What's yours? : )
  • FedericoGrowthsperity
Hey Eric, I heard this secret weapon in a different audio program you held with other leaders in the Industry, and have been using it since, but my posture was not up to par, now it is, and it works becasue it breaks the emotional attachment to the prospect, it put you into the advantageous position, instead of you being at the mercy of the prospect.

Thanks for reminding the world of NM of this awesome way to move up our industry.

    Have a great day everybody!

  • jonsvsbop

TAKE AWAY, K I S S I WILL TRY TRY THIS, TO PREQUALIFY A PROSPECT !!! SO I DON'T WASTE MY TIME!!! QOTD BEN HUR ROW WELL & LIVE
  • if I...?? would you...?? what an astounding concept!! and it works! its honest and up front...

Question of the Day (QOTD): I love movies. Name one of your top 10 favorite movies of all time.
    The Godfather I with Brandon.
  • Ahhh, Times Square. Good looking people hanging around there; What are you smiling at at 3:10?

When I was doing this line, I would sometimes get tripped up with the "What's on it?" question,
but I knew that meant I was asking weakly.

Toy Story 2- Best Movie of All Time.

  • earltmann
way to keep it simple..and powerful!
If i continued to refer people to your site would you keep sharing great info :)

    red belt -

  • There it is... The secret to success. Thanks Eric.. I've heard it before, but each time I hear it I understand it a little better..

QOTD: So many movies but My personal #1 has to be Godfather II.
  • carlossamaniego
    Eric,

Great video, I am long time watcher, first time commenter. I had to say thanks for some great words of wisdom! Tell John Joyce hi, if you see him soon ;-)
  • Jimmy Stewart in the 1939 "Come Live With Me" is one of my all time favorite movies.

"If I... Would you...? is a reciprocity query. If your 'posture' produces no after no with this set it is not your offer that is getting in the way. The next query pair is 'Obviously you have a reason for saying that, may I ask what it is?' Gives them the freedom to say what's missing. Be willing to hear the answers and take your prospects coaching.
  • ido_aronson
    Amazing...
This actually sounds like something ANYONE could do !!
We DO have a better way.

I was waiting for this secret for the last couple of days, and I must admit:
During the almost 4 minutes clip, the grin on my face got bigger and bigger.

Eric, life gets better with each of your new clips.
    Thank you!
    Ido
  • petelenny
    If I........would you.
Eric, please talk about what you would say after this comment when the prospect started asking questions.
What is the strategy on how to handle questions which will naturally arise when they know nothing about the nature of the DVD, CD or meeting?
If you don't know them well enough, then the results will be watered down......they will just say, 'only if you tell me something about it'. If you know them well enough to get them to watch or listen, then you probably could have just sat them down to start with.
  • Marina
    Thanks, Eric

As always, it's so powerful! I heard it first time from you in Turkey and I liked so much! But with the time I start to forget about it! Thanks for remind it! We really have a solution for those people who are looking for a new opportunities. And we can give it them or ... not. So If I ...., would you...? It's working!

P.S. I'm a little bit jealous about Times Square :))
