Awesome interview. I'm happy with where I'm heading. My dream job would be to be the play by play announcer for the Washington Capitals in the NHL. Fun fun.
  • aliceflanders
He turned it up a little. Could hear that one better.
  • Camille Mitchell
This interview with Gary was unbelievable. Eric no wonder your show is so awesome; you had the good sense to implement a lot of Vaynerchuk's strategy. I know your passion is real because one can't fake passion.

Holy cow. What an interview. I got so pumped I ordered the audio version of the book Crush It from Barnes & Noble. Now I can have Gary V narrate the book on my iPhone.

Don't know what's in store, but I know it's going to be great.

I guess the biggest question I come away with is what really is my passion? I have so many things I love to do, I have to really give that some thought.

Probably more than anything is traveling with my wife. We have a small travel blog, www.robintony.com and this inspires me to take a bigger look at that.

    Thanks again for the inspiration.

Best fricken' interview ever! This guy is amazing. Truely awesome. This is my 2nd time watching this and I could only think about being a client of his, think about the accountability. Woowww!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS You are great too Eric, cause without you doing this everyday I wouldnt have been interduced to such great people and ideas.

I Found the Content IN Gary' book immediately applicable. I am definitely going to apply these lessons and the lessons from the book to Crush It in 2010!

Once a lurker now a part of the community! I want to first and foremost thank you Eric for your insight and passion to deliver the "nuts and bolts" of this industry. Im a newbie to the MLM world but I've grown so much by simply incorporating your teachings and advice. Secondly, this was an AWESOME, energy filled interview. Kudos to Gary for his time and patience for adding value to my journey! I look forward to being a guest on ur show one day!
  • This is terrific Eric! Great interview and very cool that you hired Gary to help setup Network Marketing Pro. Very cool!
  • Hey Eric, comin' out of my lurk to say that this is one of my favorite shows you've done. Thank you very much :-D.

I really love the kind of business I am involved in, Health and skincare and a great lifestyle; I don't feel like i am really working when I'm talking to people (about business or about items of health and skincare). Although the follow up does not go the way I want and I still have to learn a lot.
Watching these shows does really help me.
    This one was great again!
    Thanks Eric and Gary.
    Kind regards

A real eye opener. This has helped boost my confidence no end, in the conversation between you two that I have just watched, I vividly see where I have gone wrong on countless occasions. With this I will be able to get back on course and do that which I ought to have been doing all along which in part is my greatest heart desire. Many many thanks you two.

Great information! I don't know if I agree with the working 12 - 16 hour days, but again its not work if you enjoy what you are doing. As Brian Tracey says, "40 hours a week is where you just make a living, the additional time is where you make your fortune". I think the hardest part for most people is to build something with no immediate monetary return for their time. Most people have been taught to only work when they are being paid, this is why most fail in MLM - They don't stick around long enough to even see their results. Again, very good stuff. Can't wait to see you full-fill your intention of buying the New York Jets.

Lurking for months, I want to say hi to Eric and the community. I don't know how I first landed on this video blog, but became addicted from the first episode I watched. Even though I am not in the network marketing business. But the show is inspiring nevertheless!
  • eliavkling
    one word - inspiring!!!
  • wizzardsblog
Great episode. Gary is always good whether it be as a host or a guest. I'll reveal my answer to his QOTD in December.
  • Rasul
Eric, I think Gary Vee is the bomb and I love that you are showing through this medium that business is business. We Network Marketers need to realize and present this business as the profession it is and professionals like you are leading the way and getting the message out. Thank you very much! I found out about Gary's book because of you and downloaded it on my Kindle for iPhone and am reading it.
  • Eric,

What a great interview with Gary... thanks for doing it!

I am waiting for his book to arrive any day now, and I am so pumped to read it!

    Doc
  • Thank you so much Eric to have given us this opportunity to hear from Gary outside WineLibrary!
    Gary's amazing.
QOTD: I love NM but I got so busy with it that I put aside other skills and passions of mine, hopefully both are related since it's about personal develoment and prosperity. I was planning on writing a book, then with the business I am always postponing it while I'm posting notes on my facebook ... A few days ago I started creating my blog to have a platform to share my notes, thoughts, ideas... both for french and english speaking people I posted my first real post yesterday, did not publish it yet thinking I've maybe to first get the page better, some extra stuffs, blablabla and then I watched the whole uncut interview tonight!!! where you guys are talking about that, so "perfect" or not yet, I'm definitively going to follow my bliss : ) thanks for the inspiration!

First of all, thank you very much Eric, I enjoy every show.
This is a great show, very interesting and constructive. Personally I'm a little more different after this show, a little more convinced about what I can do, with passion and patience also, but the most important Why and what for (Family, friends, the world..) do what I have to do, in our case, inside of the networkmarketing profession which fortunately I love and enjoy every single day. Greeting for everyone from Perú. Sorry for my english if there are some mistakes.

    What an amazing show! Incredible!!!

Its interesting how, in today's world, where there is an audience for everything, and reality shows are the norm, how our life could bring value and help us connect and create a community.

    Eric, amazing....
Gary I am going to follow you now, cause I am also interested in Wine!

    Have a wonderful day everybody!

  • jeffram
Eric, I was looking back through some of the eps. and came across #52 "5 steps to never-ending prospecs". Is it possible that you are going to be filming that in the near future? Btw..I get so much out of your show.
  • The positive attitude of Gary is pumpming up my energy level like crazy. Thanks a lot for sharing this with the world Eric. Best regards, your biggest fan.
  • vgleich
I Loved the interview, but I can't write too much right now.... I have to go online and order Crush it!
Thanks Eric, for all you do....for all of us!
  • I really enjoyed watching this interview. I watched it in the segments this week and just watched this uncut and unedited version.

Just finished Crush It book today. I market all over the book and have a lot of websites to look at and research. Real easy read, I finished it in 3 sittings. I recommend this book to anyone.

  • Great interview!

Gary Vaynerchuck is definitely the real deal. It was a real pleasure to watch this conversation that the two of you had, lots of priceless gems.

    cheers,

    Steve

I loved the part where Gary talked about having a dream so big that it seems almost ridiculous. I have always believed in having a solid WHY for doing the business. But my why seems like a necessity. So recently I had added an original piece of artwork to my dream board that is valued at millions of dollars, just for the fun of it.

Thanks for sharing Gary and his inspirations with us.
  • Fabulous interview. Made me appreciate the value of hard work and the value of branding myself.
  • JeffGillis
Just got his book and am throughly inspired! Safe travels Eric.
  • Fake it till you make it.... is one place to begin ... until you make it. Fake being happy and you will become happy. Fake being president, fake riding the bicycle ... maybe not. Commitment is always a function of long term. Investing in short term tactics may undermine your life commitment and then what do you do? Start over.

Differentiators... great word for those who discover and create distinctions! Until you 'believe' it you cannot see it.

The patient marathon is a great metaphor!

"LIFE is fair. You get out what you put into it."

Love your family. Work your face off. [Work smart too] Find your 'passion'

Take what you consume, split it in half, and produce and you win!

You can't 'look good' and get better at the same time. [Fake till you make it has a quality of looking good.]

Your biggest ambition should be your 'religion.' Same muscles!!!!

Patient not casual, Hunger and Patience [a bit of 'self' control ...personal growth]

Difference between audience and community is a series of future shows. [Suspects and prospects]

The 'Game' is building your brand. Become known, own your neighborhood first.

"I don't care.." about personal criticism and anyone who stands in the way of my passion/vision. Smart & Hard.

Content is King, Marketing is Queen. The best books ever written have never been read because no one knows about them. Your Brand needs a story that supports, empowers, and generates YOU [Brand].

No value in whining, crying complaining OR listening to it.

QOTD: Are you doing what you love? And if NO. What is it?

Yes and 'money' only attracts you so far which is nowhere. The 'legacy' you are afraid of sharing with others is what to set your sights on to accomplish. The more real, the more belief you bring to bear, the more it will draw you to its fruition. Keeping it buried, muddy, dark and a mystery to yourself keeps you asleep.

    Thank you very much!
