Perhaps, but I still think he most people don't have a passion for MLM. You can see him almost withholding his real opinion of it for the sake of the camera and Eric's audience. He gets better towards the last half of the interview, but he's no fan of MLM, at least from a perpective of a business people are passionate about.

When I read Crush It!, I found that his passion was not Baseball Cards, it was the deal. What he noticed at the family business was the bear and the spirits customer knew what they liked, grabbed it, bought it and left. The wine customer read the bottles or the posted description and comments. They also collected the wine, (at trade shows and in private they are traded,. It was the same thing as baseball card trading. It was the deal that he has passion for.

I just think Gary lacks faith that people truly want to build a networking business for the passion of it. I bought the audiobook of Crush It and thought it was fantastic and I think Gary truly understands branding, community and the hard work it takes to make it happen. I question that Gary had a burning passion for wine the first few months his parents made him work at the liquor store as he was having a blast in the baseball card business. My point is that he developed and built on his NEW passion for wine that he had never even tasted before. He says way too many times in this interview that people need to go find their "real" passion and start working on that instead. You can see Eric guiding him back to the positive aspects of what we are doing for people and their families every time Gary takes a left turn against MLM.

Having said that, this is a great interview and I enjoyed watching and learning more about following your passion.

Awesome interview. I'm happy with where I'm heading. My dream job would be to be the play by play announcer for the Washington Capitals in the NHL. Fun fun.
