NMPRO #160 – Prospecting Power

October 19th, 2009 Email This

There there, it’s almost over.  :)   Today is the 5th and final day of Prospecting Power.  I hope it will be the 5th consecutive day you’ve watched it.  It’s so important for you to make this a natural extension of your thought process.  You don’t learn something when you remember it, you learn something when you can’t forget it.  That takes repetition.  Question of the day (QOTD):  How can I better serve you?

This really is a very powerful prospecting method. Very effective.

    wow
  • I saw this video a while ago and wanted to replay it! It is simple and easy to put into practise!
  • Erik
I`m using this now, I used to use a Invitation script from one of the best in our business, that also works but this is som much easier to learn and teach to others :)
  • shawndean
    Awesome!
  • Jocal
    Thank you very much Eric!
  • Simply Golden. Top Tips!

    Love you all

  • Hi Eric, Another great video! QOTD: Maybe some professional ways to prospect on the internet that are free. Also are you just walking up to people and asking these questions? Or how do you get people to talk to about giving your dvd too, Maybe. I mean friends and family are nice but what about the stranger, How do you get the introduction to your first handful of people? I know you should always ask a customer if thay know anyone who might like this product. But when you know no one and have already distroyed your friends and family with past products how do you get that first person to talk too? I do so enjoy watching all your videos and I'm sure very helpful once you have some one to talk too. I'm looking forward to any light you can shed on this. Thank You for all your help! Paul
  • lisamb84
I've stood where you're standing many times! Thanks for such great practical information. That helps me more than anything. I don't need motivation; I need how to!
  • rebeccar
    Thanks Eric for you information.
  • platinumbound
Eric: Great information that I've picked up by just watching a few of your videos. I will be practicing it over and over again to get it right. Your methods follow the training of our company closely, but you add a flair to it which tweeks it enough to become even a better way. I am interested in more information. Thanks for your output towards us... those can can become better and a pro in Network Marketing.
  • ericworre
Glad to have you. There are 160 shows for you to go back and review in the "past episodes" tab at the top of the page. Enjoy!
  • leilanour
Eric, I did EXACTLY what you say. I called them when they said they would have seen the dvd. Some didn't see the dvd as they promise, some were not there when I called them as they promised they would and some said they are not interested because they tried network marketing before and it DIDNT WORK for them. So it seems that I am attracting the wrong prospects or what exactly is happening so what you say is NOT my experience.
I would like you to reply to ME to my email id:leila.agelprosperity@gmail.com or have someone reply. I am all alone here and dont know how to continue. I am frustrated and despite that I would still like to give it a try and MAKE IT HAPPEN SUCCESSFULLY! So I hope you send me an answer Eric
  • marvalouslife1

Okay, Eric, this is very good! I always forgot to do this! I will it do this for sure from now on!
    Thanks.
Looking forward to the next shows.
    Kind Regards

  • Repetition...repetition...repetition!! That is what it is about!!!! Too many people waste too many time "reorganising their office", "studying about the science of their products", "reading the latest selfhelp magazine or book"...Though these are a valuable part of our profession, there is a huge difference in being active or productive:

Putting the questions in front of the right prospects in order to follow them up for a meeting and actually doing the meeting with them IS IMHO the ONLY activity needed for production (= the flow of products towards new networking members of your program). No flow - no production ! Your 8 minute video sums it all up ! If we do this daily on a consistent basis, we will succeed as a nmpro. :-)
  • dorendain
    Hello Eric,

I found your tips on this video extremely helpful. They are the perfect synthesis for an ideal invitation recruiting prospects. I have to admit that I only applied 2 or 3 of those questions most of the time and I had given the CD-Product away to the candidate. Thanks for sharing your wisdom and experience. Take care. Best wishes and a great hug from Guadalajara, Mexico. Daniel Orendain M.
  • Our inventory of product and tools are not to be wasted. This program gives great advice on how to qualify and motivate prospects with our inventory and to do credit to ourselves as professionals in the industry and champions of our programs.

My name is Ephren Tinoco and I have decided to go PRO!
  • reginacooke
How do I subscirbe to this?
  • CarlosVera
Where do I start from? Well............just got into this industry a couple of months ago and I can't get started yet, and to tell you the truth, this business can really be very frustating when you don't do things the way you should! The part in the video where I really saw myself was when you said "pleeeeease look at my DVD!"......I really saw myself there and I realized how bad I must look when I approach someone that way!!!

Anyway, I'll work harder and I will repeat this approach again and again until I know it better than I know my own name ! (loved your phrase up there where you said "You don’t learn something when you remember it, you learn something when you can’t forget it").

Keep coming up with this kind of stuff because I honestly believe you really have lots of things to share that will help so many people in this industry!

Kind rgds from Paraguay, heart of South America!!

    Carlos
  • This is great Eric. I've recently started using Basketball as my cardio workout 4 times a week. I will shoot until I make 100 shots and make a game of it. What I'm noticing with that is as I shoot more the muscle memory takes over and the shots fall more quickly toward the end of the workout than in the beginning. Same concept here, no?

QOTD: You're doing it already.. in other words do AT LEAST another 160 episodes of NMPRO.

ENJOY KIEV and see you in SF in February.
  • Darrick
    Hi Eric,
Thanks again for your direction in this MLM/Direct Sales maze.
You have given me precise information as if you are
    a Network Professional Navigation System.
What is the next turn for Networking Professional success ?
Peace and Blessings to You and Your Family,
    DG
  • I really like how you put your training into a 4 step formula so it's easy to remember the framework of it, then while in a conversation it sounds more natural

thank you so much for the great content!

You Crush It with your content!
  • Day 5. WOW, popcorn is going off watching this today. Though you said it every day for 5 days today I heard 'prospects' is who this 4 question set is for. Another thing about posture related to last week’s interview with Gary Vaynerchuk is the mixture of being in a hurry without being attached to the answer. When you know you have an eternity to get it done and right now may be the only time in eternity I have to be with you ...

QOTD: Eric, your commitment to growing the profession instead of hunting for the same group who have to be retrained every week, suggests to me at least, how do you sort through suspects to find prospects. AND we are not just sorting for any old prospects but prospects for being a professional Network Marketer. All the information IS in previous episodes here too. The distinctions that must be made when 'prospecting' might be a huge insight for many.
  • ez2win
Take it step by step, Eric. Next week - follow-up is great. It's another of my weak points - I'll hand out tools to 10-15 people and then procrastinate with the follow-up. I'm sure this topic will be of great help to many. Thanks again and have a super weekend.
  • Ok, ok, ok!!

QOTD: Y'know Eric, since you asked, I really think that you have an opportunity here to step OUTSIDE the usual of the "MLM GURU" guys, and really make an impact on the industry by speaking MORE OFTEN to prospects.

Everyone else is "Mining the miners" stuff.

Maybe a series on ""My friend wants me to get in this thing- what is it, what do I do"?, or "Does this really work", and of course, what I REALLY think we need: "Why is my friend SO insistent and crazy about this thing?".

You would be THE ONLY person doing it without speaking for your particular MLM, and just doing it for the industry itself. Tim Sales did this with his stuff, but it's kinda outdated now, and has to be paid for.

I mean something that is FREE, that is helpful to ALL of us, and could raise the industry's perception b/c you'd be doing it without the strings attached like everyone else does. Like I've said before, Martin Luther King Jr. wasn't looking for "value for value", he was looking for equality for his people. If you go see your first few shows, it sounded like that's where you were headed.

If you feel you HAVE to "get something for it", then you could sell a book here, or something else that we'd all support. Besides, in the long term, there's just no way it wouldn't increase your business anyway.

I'd like to see you offer a book for $10-$29 or so (Dillard charges $39 for Magspon), and give it a one-tier affiliate program attached. It could be all the things you've learned (maybe one for prospects, and another for mlmers), and we could buy it and gain commission on it. The one for prospects we'd buy in bunches.

You could RANDOMIZE the commissions for anyone who buys it directly from your site to the people who have bought it already. That way, you wouldn't be punishing the people who have passed your site on, and it would incentivise us to keep passing your site along.

What would happen if someone got three of your "prospect books" from 3 different people? You;d have to assume that person would read it, and get EDUCATED for all of us. We could AT LEAST gain some more customers, right?

So, THAT'S one of the ways I'd like for you to better serve us... since you asked.
  • etronics6
U ROCK!!!!!!!!!! THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR KNOWLEDGE WITH US!
  • Kelly_A_Hamilton
Dear Eric, Absolutely awesome!! And it does work very very well.

I have a different question for you though. I have been asked to talk about social media at one of our meetings, although I am quite proficient at Facebook, I really need a few other free social media sites that I can look into. Do you have any suggestions on some easy to use sites.
Let me give you a bit of a run down of the meeting so that you have an idea of what I am looking for.
We are celebrating Small Business month and our Mayor will be there to celebrate with us. My partner will be talking about strategies on starting your own business and the Mayor will be talking about where to go and who to talk to for more information on getting loans and or grants to start a business. I would like to show how you can advertise, or maybe get your name out there, so that you are recognized as being in a business. Unfortunately, I am not a big twitter person and maybe that is because I just don't understand it. I thought maybe you might have a few suggestions for me that could help the network marketing professionals that are coming to the meeting and the ones who want to become networking marketing professionals.
  • Eric I learned this stuff from you a couple of years ago and use it now without thinking. I had actually forgotten how much of a revelation it was to me at that time. Now I can see how many guys in MLMs just do not have even the most basic training on how to prospect without begging. Or is it just that they are not really listening?

That's what my friend says. What do you think?
  • latachia_2
It would only run until you got to where you were ready to say Would you, then it stops. I tried it on a different computer(only a year old) and it won't come up at all. It ask to to install the flash player& when I do,nothing happens. When I click on the one on the right side,it again wants another installation of the Adobe flash player,& again nothing. My conputer crashed yesterday. I saw the one with the questions before(I think last week)But I wanted to watch & listen to them again.I guess you can't say I haven't tried.
  • ericworre
    Hate technical problems :(

    Hi Eric,

i am so happy that i subscribe to your program, i do learn every day something new and helpful. I never thought that i am doing networkmarking in my live, but with your great videos (expieriences from years) i am sure that i gonna do well in the future.
Thank´s for everything Eric, you are the best.
    Best wishes from Cancun, Mexico
  • ericworre
Cancun! I need to come visit!

    be our guest.....Cancun is amazing
  • tonyjennings
    Hey Eric,
Are those golden onions on those buildings?

Great broadcast! You keep hammering this technique into us over and over - whether in person, on the videos, or on your broadcasts.

That tells me that you really believe this to be a powerful lesson - now I must go put it into practice!
    Thanks for the lesson.
  • ericworre
Tony, yes I think they are golden onions. I'll double check. :)
  • jennyc
I think it's empowering, and I am entertained each and every time that I watch your videos. They are never boring.
  • ericworre
    I'm glad
  • jorgebessudo
Not only I have read it, but I will translate it to spanish and give it to my team, which I will have after using this approach.
  • ericworre
    Perfect
  • Hahaha... wow. This video brings back some really cherished memories of doing network marketing the old school way. I remember being nervous and my stomach aching before I actually asked those types of questions of my potential business partner. It's funny, just watching and hearing the old pitch even now brings back the butterflies. It's hillarious to think how much I sweated the small stuff like that.

Now that I quite literally almost NEVER ask anyone to review my business opportunity yet have more people interested and viewing my presentation every day than I ever had the whole dynamic is very different. The posture that I carry knowing that it really doesn't matter in the big scheme of things whether or not they actually see it is very liberating. Heck, I never carry DVD's, samples, brochures, or heck even cards around with me!!!

There are several ways to build a network marketing empire and Eric is a MASTER at most of them. It's just for me on a personal basis the getting in touch with family, friends, and anyone next to me at the grocery counter never really panned out.

I truly look forward to more teaching Eric and appreciate your leadership tremendously.

    To Our Massive Success,

    John Chatman

  • ericworre
    Hey John,

In our business it doesn't really matter what works. It only matters what duplicates. Only then do you have freedom.

If your new school stuff is duplicating, then I'm all for it!

I appreciate you and your comments. :)

    Eric
  • Thank you Eric. I sincerely appreciate your leadership and the incredible example you have set forth to all of us showing what a real MLM Lifestyle can be.

    Keep on rockin.
  • QOTD: This is VERY Empowering... Thanks ERIC.. .

My first time here... A VERY powerful first impression! I love it when great ideas are conveyed in such a way as to make them "stupid simple". What a very teachable and duplicatable process. Thank You!

    I second the motion.

QOTD: Are you kidding? Boring?! Frustrating?! I'm already repeating all 4 questions with you, and most important: "OK, I gotta go!" (sense of urgency). So one more day of this - and I'm ready to start the new week using this remarkable system. Definitely empowering. Thanks a ton (words can't express)
  • ericworre
Cool! Go make something happen! :)
  • martinpedersen11
    Great information...empowering for sure!!
  • ericworre
    Good
  • QOTD: Repetition being the mother of skill, I’d have to say reviewing the information each day is empowering
  • ericworre
Then is the information the father? I've never heard what the father of skills was.
  • ha, me neither. yea I guess information would have to be the father then huh
  • Day4. Noticed the sailors today. I suspect some people might attempt this four question as an opening... not going to work that way. There are other foundational questions that if you don't have the answer you have to ask first. THEN if the person offers an opening for the possibility, either with posture, something they say or how the experience says yes... then... ya know, if I gave you ....

QOTD: empowering. Catch something at another level each time. Thank you Eric.
  • enrique62
Could you give a few examples of other foundational questions?
  • Type your comment here. There are other videos in the library with some of the answers you're looking for..

    QOTD response: Empowering !!
  • Jose Ortiz
Hey Eric, repetition is never boring. In fact, it is no different than saying practice makes perfect. Keep it up, and as Jim Sereney stated below, one would be amazed what they pick up after listening to the same thing over and over again.
  • JeffGillis
Total Self Empowerment!!! Also rewatched full length Gary Vaynerchuck interview last night! So much to develop & integrate there... Awesome! Simply World Class!!!
  • Looks a beautiful city to go with a great message.

I'll be watching more carfully from now on.
  • ido_aronson
    AOTD: EMPOWERING !!!!
  • Have to say I have been using this in a new script that am teaching my down line to use.
Man does it work were starting to see big things happen.

Keep up the great work your doing Eric.
  • jennyc
This is great stuff, my company must all be watching you because they have been saying get that time and number before you leave the CD. Just wish everyone who makes the promise to listen would actually remember to do it. Very irritating when you call and they still haven't done so.
  • latachia_2
It would only run until you got to where you were ready to say Would you, then it stops. I tried it on a different computer(only a year old) and it won't come up at all. • It's good reviewing this material so close together. I generally review but it really soaks in when it's done so soon.

    Thanks Eric.
  • Day3 is another fabulous day here and already late afternoon. Just demonstrating this process gets results. Prospecting is fun when you are having fun.
  • Hey Eric, I love the repetition idea! I pick up something new with each listen!
  • ericworre
    I'm so glad. Thanks Jim
  • ez2win
Thanks for getting us into action. Could you also give me a sentence or 2 to introduce this line of questioning? I feel that when talking to strangers these questions appear too forward - impolite, in fact. The questions are excellent and I'm sure the system works. I just feel they need to be presented in a softer manner, so as not to cause people to close up.
  • ericworre
I generally open up with some form of a sincere compliment and then mention I have something I'm excited about. Nothing fancy. If it ties into something I know about them, all the better.
  • ez2win
Thanks for responding, Eric, it's not easy with all your followers. So when I talk to a shop owner (5000 small businesses went bankcrupt in NL last month) or worker, I'll first compliment them on their shop, or window arrangement. That's a big help. I'll use it starting tomorrow and share results on NMPro.
  • enrique62
    ez2win:
thanks for asking this question. That was my question too. I know someone who is good really good in her job but she is frustrated. I can be sincere and tell her that she is a great worker and then ask her, If I gave you this newspaper, would you read it?
  • ez2win
    Hi Enrique62,
Thanks for your comment. If you know her well, perhaps let her talk a bit about her frustrations, and then, as Eric suggested, compliment her and say you've found something really exciting (that might help) and..."If I gave you this magazine would you read it?...etc" I wish you success with all your prospects.
  • estebanmesias
This is better everyday!!! I'm sure it works in a high level but I was thinking about how to apply this to my business and is a little complicate because I don't give samples, my networkmarketing company is mostly about services, only two products which there's no way to give samples and then everything is about services, the other thing is I call prospects as many of you do, but in every meeting I give a CD and coordinate a second meeting, maybe in this part I can apply this fantastic 4 question method? Maybe I can have better results in the cold market with this method?
Thank you for this valuable information.
  • ericworre
If your company doesn't have any 3rd party materials, I'd suggest you make some of your own if they'll let you. If they DO have some, then just use them with the 4 steps.
  • denagottlieb
    Great tool!
    Well delivered and wonderful backdrop.
    I love your stuff, Eric!
  • ericworre
    Yeah, it's beautiful here. Thanks!
  • ido_aronson
I have this one downloaded and watched it about 12 times now, with others and by myself.
And you know what (people!), each time I watch it (and note, there is a huge difference between watching and looking at it, or seeing it) I notice something else that I didn't notice before.

THAT is the secret of repetition, and this is why this WEEK is such a double lesson; both content as well as message.

Tonight I have a training session with my people, the 1st one where I actually implement this as part of the training.
Can't wait to teach it, and can't wait to see their outcomes.

    Life's good!
    Carpe Diem.
  • These are the videos that I appreciate the most. Getting down to the real How To's ... there is so much fluff and filler out there that this information as well as this entire site is greatly appreciated. I know there are tons of people who watch and do not take action though... JUST DO IT.... Your business won't grow without you... don't get stuck analyzing information without putting it to use.
  • 1BrutalTruth1
    Hey Eric,
Thanx again for the valuable info. Now, just a request. Could you interview TIM SALES next?
He's a U.S. Navy Vet like me and has done well in this industry.
  • ericworre
He's on the list. Just have to get it done.
  • I too would LOVE to see Tim Sales interviewed... also, Richard Kall or Even A.L. Williams
  • Day 2, where'd the day disappear? We don't give away dvd/cd's without arranging a time to pick them up. I wouldn't arrange the time unless they committed to watching it before coming to get my 'hammer and saw.' We send out many online links and in the beginning I sent a large number everyday to people I knew. The open rate was low and the view rate nearly zero. When I changed my approach, calling first and having a conversation to see if they were even looking, [a conversation for possibility] the number sent was drastically lower. However the number opened has approached 100% and nearly as many who open watch at least 50% of the information. Much different follow-up is possible. Also for those not looking, some will be in the future and now I know when to make a return call and have a conversation for possibility.
  • ericworre
    That's right my brother!!!!
  • bethascoli
That's interesting...I was taught NEVER to email links (we have a website but always make sure people are in front of their computer ready to watch it before we give it to them), I was also taught not to give out DVDs. We were told that it's always best to watch it with them. I think that works well with family and close friends, but I'm thinking that this may be a more scalable approach to get it in front of a large number of people. I'm still part-time, so I can only sit in so many living rooms watching the presentation with people, there's just not enough hours in the day. Also, there are those that I don't know well enough to go over to there house or have them come to mine. Eric, would you recommend still watching it with your warmest contacts? Is this approach more for lukewarm/cold market?

    Thanks,
    Beth
  • bethascoli
Thanks for getting back to me, I know you're busy traveling. I'm sorry that I have so many questions, but I'm trying to forget a lot of the junk I have learned over the years that hasn't helped me build a sustainable group. I'm really just starting to build again, and the hardest thing is trying to approach people who know I've been in NM for years without much success, so it's really great to have these tips on how to speak to them in a professional way. I have found this week to be VERY empowering, but I'm also looking forward to hearing the rest of it next week :)
  • ericworre
It is always best to watch it with someone, but that doesn't always work in today's hectic lifestyle. Watch it with them when you can and use this approach when you can't.
  • hpena
Great Question. In a warm market scenario, would you still use this same approach with the 4 questions or would just sit down and watch it with them?
  • ericworre
If you can't watch it with them, then yes still use this approach with your warm market.
  • rickyemerson
Great Video I'm going to commit to doing that 25-50 times a week and teach my downline to do the same. Because what I'm doing now 75% of the people haven't watched the DVD or visited my site. I will Keep you posted on my results.

    Have a Blessed Day
    Ricky Emerson
  • ericworre
You're results will be amazing. Work HARD to get it ingrained into your group.
  • Hi Eric,

The good thing about NM is that we get rewarded for using products and promoting there use by others. To find success we need to learn new skills, become a better person and help others to do the same. Thank you Eric for helping us along the way.

Hi Eric from Switzerland where we are nearly done to start in the German part:-)
This is a very successful roul: get something, before you give something and again and again and again - thanks for remembering me that - very good mentor - hope to meet you in personal,

  • billoneal
    Hi Eric,

This is great stuff. But I would like to know what you are saying BEFORE the "if I would you".
In other words, how are you qualifying them to know if they are interested in making more money
before you ask "if I were to give you this dvd would you watch it"?
I have heard so many different opening lines and would really appreciate hearing yours.

Thank you for all that you do for us here on NWMP.

  • ukjeremyclarke
Took me 24 hrs, but I got there. 'NMPRO #160 – Prospecting Power' is clear and invaluable advice. I'll be (re)watching daily for the next 5. Love the 'Spaced Repetition'.
  • danaylesworth
Thank you...You save me so much worry, hassle. Might as well save your DVD's and product..if people won't agree to what you are talking about here...

I used this technique with my Mom when she had a cold...If I could give you something to improve your cold, would you take it....Her reply...no..She is obviously not a candidate right now...So I moved on no worries. You also covered those family issues in a previous episode.

And I keep my products and improve my own health as opposed to having a gel pack sitting around in someone's house not being used.
  • ritafulton
    Eric,

Thank you. I'm on board! Have great time in Ukraine.
  • This is GOLD Eric. I'm gonna let it sink in!

QOTD: Meeting like-minded people, the freedom to create the kind of income and lifestyle you want. That's what lured me to this industry.
  • FedericoGrowthsperity
What I like best about NMP is that we get to have a professional and mentor step into our office or home, and give us advice as to how to become more professional and successful.

Eric, is it possible to make your shopws into a format that is downloadable to the iPod so one can see them while in the bus, train, or away from the computer? Think about it!

    Thanks!

    Federico Ruiz
  • jorgebessudo
You can download the shows into Real Player format. IF you buy the PRO version of the program you can translate the format into uther formats, my guess is that would solve your problem
  • lindagrey
Thank you Eric, great script! Simple, duplicatable approach. I will put this to work this week and look forward to the follow up session.
  • turjcxg
THANK YOU ERIC! Yes, this script is perfect. I wrote it in my daily planner to look at it and memorize it every chance I get. Thank you Eric for taking your time, money and effort to put this website up for us. I want you to know that my 9-year old daughter watches some of your episodes. She has watched me build my previous network marketing business and now she's learning with me by watching your shows. Thank you for teaching her so many valuable lessons. I think she might listen to me when I teach her these things, but when she watches your shows, she takes them to heart more (and so do I).

Hi Eric, One of the things that I like best about NM, that I am only now coming to understand, is the ability to start over anytime. Make today your first day of your career as you, Randy and others have so enthusiastically encouraged. And the potential. The potential for personal and financial growth and success. The potential for anyone should they make the decision to do it, no matter how long it takes. Thanks and have a safe trip.

What I like best with the NM job is the ability to improvin g in several topics :
financially - my selfdenying ability no 1
health - keep and even sharp up a already excellent health by our product line
maybe most important the personal development for myself and in perspective others
done by the great opportunity to work from home and travel around the globe in business.

    Thanx for asking!
  • Steve
This weeks videos will be great!
    We are great
    Thx Eric

What I like best (at the moment because there are numerous factors) about Network Marketing is the level of professionalism that is being both pushed & adopted through the industry thereby attracting more 'business intelligent' people. :-)

    FAB video Eric
  • What would be really cool and beneficial is to actually hear you doing the prospecting interview. Seeing would be even better. :)
  • What I like best about network marketing is not the money, although that is certainly fabulous. It is not the products, though they are fantastic. It is not the opportunity to meet awesome people and go to fun places, but that is certainly exceptional. What I love best about NWM is the personal development. I came from a very very negative family with little to no values and where no one ever showed me what I could be and do in life. I have had the opportunity to be exposed to things that have made me be such a better, happier person in life. I have learned how to share that with others also. This is certainly a great profession in may ways. Thank you for allowing me to express myself. I appreciate you~
  • Hi Eric, this is fantastic. Thanks for continuing to put out the exact message that I need to hear each and every day. You ROCK! It's going to be an awesome week. Looking forward to increasing the number of prospects committing to and following up with reviewing my material in a really big way! Thanks again. God Bless!

What I like about network marketing is the residual income. Wages make you a living, profits make you a fortune! People ask me, do you go to school? I say "yes. All the time, every day. I study, live, and breathe network marketing!!! You should try it, it sure beats the 9 to 5!"
  • tataru_manuela
Great information! Thank you so much Eric. Very simple and yet such an effective way to get people involved!
  • This works well in any business. Since learning this gem I have used it in my other business as well and the results in both businesses are astounding. Clients / prospects actually want to see what you have and they actually look which is a far cry from 'shoving it down their neck' :). Thank you Eric.
  • Oops - QOTD: The 2 best things about NM is that 1: The profession causes the serious players to look inward and grow. I had no idea that I was plagued with lack programming until my sponsor and mentors suggested I read books like 'Think and Grow Rich', 'The Magic of Thinking Big', and then this book called 'Why You're Dumb Sick and Broke' came out.... that book was me all over. And 2: The relationships that develop.
It's like an addictive drug. (a nice one).
  • Thank you, Tony. I appreciate your comments.
  • Eric, there are many things that I like about Network Marketing. The lifelong friends, the time freedom, meeting new people, the excitement...all rank high on my list. But I think if I were to choose one outstanding thing that I like BEST, it would have to be the personal development. I know of no other industry that promotes self development and leadership across the board like Network Marketing does.
  • This is the best 4 me! :) Thank you very much for your videos Eric! You can help really for the people in the network marketing!
  • What I like best about networking is the fact that you get to learn a lot about different types of people and learn about their actual background and personal story.

Eric: I sent you in email in regards to your Elite Coaching Program that I would like to be apart of. Hopefully I am one of the lucky people that get the opportunity to work with you
  • ericworre
    Details will be emailed soon.
  • estebanmesias
Great advice, I'm using this 4 questions from now. It's very interesting how a simple thing makes the diference.
About your question, what I like best about network marketing isn't only 1or 2 things but I can mention some:
In this way: I am .....

    - Improving my abilities as a leader
    - Learning about financial intelligence
    - Helping other people / connecting "heart to heart" with other people
    - Learning about experiences and actions of other people / geting great friends and partners
    - Working for short-term and long-term GOAL! AS A TEAM!

Well I can say: What I like best of Network Marketing Profession is what it means for the people and what it gets for the people or what people gets being part of this industry, I mean people get better inside the Network Marketing Profession, and this is nowadays "potencial"... We have a better way! we have a better future. Thank you Eric!
  • (QOTD) I enjoy meeting new people and listening to their concerns. It's nice to have the ability to engage so many people who are on different levels. Once I've listened closely, I have a better idea how to invite folks to look at my opportunity in such a way that my prospects get just as excited about my opportunity as I am. -- Alex
  • What should you do if they don't answer that call back at the agreed upon time and place?
  • ericworre
I'll cover that next week. :)
  • JeffGillis
    Fantastic!!!
  • ericworre
Jeff, should be able to talk via skype tomorrow
  • JeffGillis
gre8t, will check twitter 4 time coordinates so I can be sure to be in wifi area. thank you Eric.
  • Excellent advise! These 4 questions are the exact same thing that the National/Executive Consultants teach at Ambit Energy University. I have been using this process and getting excellent results! When I've failed to follow this process, I've had zip for results. Definietly, do not forget to write down the prospects name, phone number, date, and time to call. If you mess up this step, you will have no way to re-engage the prospect. Guess what, they won't bother to call you and then you have wasted your time. As a bonus, always try to obtain an e-mail address too... That way you have another avenue to utilize to contact your suspect! Thanks... -- Alex

    Good extra tip Charles
  • Hi Eric,

I just wanted to take a moment to Wish You all the Best on your Birthday and 1st year Anniversary of NMPro! Congrats!

You’re the Best! I hope to meet you in person one day! Thanks for all you do! ~Alex

    Best Regards,

    Charles A Marsh
  • Thank you, Eric! The e-mail address does come in handy...

I've lost some prospects because I didn't have an e-mail.

  • This is great! I have a pretty good looked at rate and I do 2 out of these 4 things. I will add the other 2 to my exposure process.

QOTD: I like the relationships the best. I've made more friends in the almost 5 years I've been in network marketing than I did the previous 25 years!
  • Thanks again Eric. Obviously I've heard this before.. however this is great for the plan do review. Must see video for that purpose..

QOTD: I love the people I get to work within this industry.. I have never had a "work" experience prior to getting involved with NM where people no matter their level of success or lack thereof have been so supportive of one another and the different cultures, backgrounds, education, etc is very inspiring as well. Truly a level playing field for EVERYONE!
  • ericworre
I've trained a lot of people to do it but few of them actually do. Big difference between knowing and doing. Make it a natural part of every prospecting conversation.
  • Excellent ! Follow up is the total key for making this work.

    1 - 2 - 3 - 4 Results
  • ericworre
    YES!
  • QOTD: The lasting relationships that have developed through the years with those that I have met, have worked with, have traveled with, have laughed and cried with, and have been successful with! The relationships are the Real success in NWM! Businesses come and go, but the bond amongst us never weakens!

(Please excuse ending with a preposition!)
  • ericworre
I'll excuse your grammar if you'll excuse mine :)
  • alexanderpadilla
Great basics for us to execute. Interaction with people is what I like best about network marketing.
  • ericworre
It's basic if you do it every time.
  • "If I could show you the simplest way to increase your prospecting results TODAY....would you ..." What a SWEET email to send to all of my team !! Sooo very simple...You are going to KISS everyone straight to the top Eric !! QOTD... I like who I am in the process of becoming through this very cleverly disguised form of profitable personal development...LOVE sharing this with everyone...!!
  • ericworre
    NOW you're catching on.
  • We all know when a telemarketer is reading a script. Sometimes we feel sorry for them and listen but more often you either hang up or I ask for the best time and their number to call tham at home after they get off work. Not many takers. The best part about this script is you have to practice and have fun with someone to get it comfortable. I will be back tomorrow to watch again!

QOTD: People are looking for money; they are looking for personal growth, a challenge, leadership coaching and many for some ‘unknown’ wordless opportunity that no longer exists anywhere else. Network Marketing allows you to offer all of this without measure.
  • hpena
I'm confused. I was always taught that urgency equals importance. Giving them a DVD was not urgent enough because they may or may not watch it anytime soon. Instead I was told to find a way to sit with them and watch the DVD together as soon as possible.

Do these two schools of thought pertain to two different groups of people, sit down with your close friends and give the DVD to acquaintances, or is it a one approach fits all scenario?

Is there a professional way to show urgency without begging them to look?

QOTD: I love the community that we share and that we're all moving in the same direction, changing lives one family at a time.
  • laschan
I must tell you pal, this was HUGE!!! Especially #4. I had a hard time feeling comfortable asking for a phone number.

    Thanks,
    T-bone
  • I immediately wanted to share this, and then I stopped cold.
I called first and asked them: "If I... <send you this link>..." "Would You..<watch it>"

My old habits merely need to be replaced with good ones. This processis is a good habit!
(Goes to re-programming you revealed in your episodes 139-142 ).

Question for you: Is "belief" the gatekeeper of re-programming? As I change/challenge/re-craft my belief, then reinforce it with new conscious thoughts and actions (new habits), will it settle into "re-programming"?

    I trust it will.

The challenge for me is not about whether to acknowledge the need for re-programming (I do), but to sort out the new "programming" opportinities / "my belief = your results" claims that are out there and chose.

    Thank you for your authenticity.

I think one of the things I like best is the personal development, Im reading many books, whatching many videos, reading many materials that is supporting my development. I came to know many gurus like: Eric Worre, Jim Rohn , Gary Vaynerchuck, Brian Tracy, Randy Gage, and so on. It's amazing the quality and quantity of info that is helping me to become a professional in this field.

So straight forward. I like the simplicity of Net Work Marketing. Once again you have put prospecting in such a simple form.

  • Didn't you just do this lesson in NYC? We can always use the reminders! SO, we start by sayiing:

    "PUH-LEEEZE watch this!", right?
  • It sounds so easy, cause it is.... One of the most things I like about NWM is the opportunity to be able to change people's life like it changed mine. By the way...I can see a sparkle in your eyes when you look into the camera...why's that my friend ;-)) Take care....your biggest friend.
