Believe it or not! You can make movie or you can make money in NM. But you cannot make both .. simply because the NM producer make money and the NM non-producer is too busy making movie (about people not making money in NM and make fun of the people who make the money…). I don't believe it.. that I'm writing this instead of doing the contacting, STP (!), follow up…. man, there's a lot of work (real work) to do in NM… Helping people to help themselves to have a better life.

Ouch. But let's not get too defensive – the truth is EVERY profession in EVERY industry has been bruised by manipulative practices and unscrupulous business practices. Doctors, lawyers, clergymen, bankers, brokers … dishonesty / fraud is rampant. Shining a light on the corruption or deception in any profession is often the fastest way to effect change.

Thank you Eric for putting such an important topic on the table and encouraging us to “be the change”.

Oh, I wish I could say it's funny; but it's not going to be funny when people keep pointing that movie in our faces once they have seen it. You're right Eric, we all need to do the profession a favor and be professional. By our example only, will this type of perception be changed.

Have admit the spoof is pretty funny…I think it is a good message to us NMPRO's on what the perception is out there and gives us a bench mark on what we need to be working on. I think it is also something we can embrace to show what WE as NMPRO's are committed to changing.

Franchising at one time was in jeopardy of being an illegal business model b/c people were using is in a BAD way, the business model was not BAD, Ray Kroc proved that and look at it now.

Again, so true. The wrong way to approach people is exactly why I wanted nothing to do with MLM. Fortunatly, I met people that showed me the proper way and NOW I am PROUD to be a networkmarketingprofessional. What a change in beliefsystem.

That really does make you gringe doesn't it. Yes alot work is needed to fix up it's image and the poor results which is what? 95%-99% fall away rate with a few mths or something? Way to much still. Your right it's all to do with people not understanding what they have in their hands or pretenders looking for a quick buck.

Oh man! Do we have work to do or what? This is just one more challenge to add to our list of challenges and obstacles to overcome. But if we look at it from a different point of view, we must appreciate the challenge and see it for what it is…an opportunity. It will test our strength, our belief and our commitment. That is the only way to weed out the professionals from the amateurs. If you have a bullet proof belief in what you're doing and our industry, then nothing can stop you.
