NMPRO #220 – “2-a-Day” for Exponential Growth

January 15th, 2010 Email This

If the Formula for Financial Independence in Network Marketing is “Your ability to get a large group of people to do a few simple things over a consistent period of time”, just what are those few simple things?  Here’s one of them.  Amazing NMPRO Community, what do YOU think?

I'll definetly keep this in mind :)
  • ViktoriaGuerin
Very useful formula and perfectly explained.
  • nelleke
It is something you have to learn to do. Is it discipline we are afraid for, or ...? What makes it so difficult while it sound so easy?
  • chiatkhor
Eric, I heard about this formula before. I have to admit that I am not doing very good on it. I have never been serious on studying it too. The best I maintain is 1-a-day. I think I have another half to work hard on. The calculation that you do in this clip really motivates me a lot. 100 people doing 2-a-day, I have 5000 exposures a month, 60000 exposures a year. If I have 10% success rate, my organization will have 6000 new members a year. Let say I earn 1 dollar from their purchases of the products a month the next year, I have extra 6000 dollar monthly income. What a motivation! I like it.
  • Simple...simple...simple.....nothing complicated....just 2 a day.....
  • JON FORTI
2 A DAY I WILL DO THIS & BUILD DAY BY DAY.
  • luigijr
so simple and extremely doable even for the most occupied person awesome information Thanks eric
  • ilkka
Simple but why it is so hard to do so...
  • You have to make it a habit in your daily conversation with people. The more you share the easier it gets.
  • Hey Eric, what a fantastic concept and so obvious really. I am going to use it daily from now on and have already emailed my downline the video. Most people can share something with at least two people a day, that's why i'm so excited when I think of the numbers me and my team will be reaching before long.

Thanks Eric keep churning out your brilliant videos!
  • This concept is one of 'true leverage'. I have been following this website for some time now... I have missed quite a few episodes since the site started requiring login to view additional videos. Anyhow, I plan on implementing this strategy until I hit the top level in my current company. Eric I think you are contributing more to networkers than any other 'guru' there is out there! Keep pumping out the value!
  • ockaren
Doing 2-a-Day is what I need to teach my downline, and I need to set that example for them! Thanks Eric!
  • travelprohawaii
I can and will do 2 a day!
  • Erik
This is a strong consept :)And I love it, 2 a day is not if you wants to grow fast , but 100 people doing 2 a day is 5000 pr month and 60 000 a year, WOW
  • Jorge Longoria
2 a day great concept. i will do that from now on and i will encourage my people to do it! thanks Erick!
  • Shovers
2 a day! I put that in my phone to remind me daily and keep that mndset in the forefront! Great concept. I get it now!
  • MDungey
    2 a day, 2 a day, 2 a day, 2 a day, 2 a day, 2 a day. How simple - why not do it!
  • juanpablorico
    Eric! I came a lilte late ....
I think that I can do it (2 at day) ...., buy my big chalenge it´s how to teach my tem to do it ....., ¿can you help me?
    Thanks
  • jlt0wn
2 a day is much more doable for me than the 5 a day some businesses advocate.
  • mspaulamc
Building MLM is strategic and the 2/day formula keeps you in action, along with building momentum. The hard part is disciplining yourself to do it. Best answer .. get an accountability coach or buddy that will tell you the truth and keep you in the game - even when you don't feel like it.
  • Luis Gringras
I have heard this formula many time but every time I here it again reinforce my belive in this industry, is natural for me to repeat every time to new members in this profession.
  • Vonnita2010
Hi Eric, I have to be sincere, I started MLM for the 1st time in Nov 2009, I have books, and have started learning everything I can, my goal however is to become coach in a few years after I have my company well stablished, I am still struggling, I am doing two exposures a day although I did get down for a week but I am back and ready to roll. Have an amazing day
  • travelprohawaii
    I will do it!
  • Jessi
2 a day, that should be easy. Great strategy!
  • rhhooker
    Wow...!!!
  • Jay VanNostrand
    2 a day...another great reminder Eric!
  • Layla
The formula for financial success it´s easy. Then way I don´t do that? Yes, I know first I neat to fine that sow big reason to do that :-)

    Layla
  • Such a simple step.
  • gingerva
2 a day brings freedom my way. No mystery here, consistency and longevity in any business will lead to success. It's what all successful business people will tell you. Thanks Eric for another great reminder. Success will come if you stick to the basics.
  • CINDYSU
I just emailed this video to key members of my team. My husband is a chiropractor. I'm going to have him watch this challenge him to do the same with his business and watch it grow!!!!
  • AviPeer
An apple a day keeps the doctor away, 2 exposures a day will keep the mediocrity away. And can make us milliners. It is so simple to do. Why are people don't do it?
  • jessicajablonski
I love this concept! Use the tools and 2 a day! 50 a month - so you tell your new people to do this. My question is - they will run out of their warm market - then what? I have some ideas... just curious what your ideas are...
  • gingerva
You can never run out of warm market because you can meet people wherever you go. Create relationships and make them a warm market. What are your ideas?
  • John Boyd
    So simple, so easy!
  • Lotta
Two a day and freedom comes my way. Make it simpel
  • king T
This is the most amazing thing to see friendly competitors sharing the truth about working in this industry as a pro. Everyone thinking about going into this industry should see this before they get started
  • gingerva
So true! People might get a different impression of our industry, right?
  • susanjohannesson
Okej, I will start right now - two people a day!
  • granttomkins
so simple !! lets start doing it now
  • etronics6
    LUV that 2 a day!!
  • 2 a day, what a simple concept. I'm going to encourage my team to do this consistently so they can reap the rewards!
  • I have a sign now on the wall: "Get a large group of people to do a few simple thing over a consistence period of time".
I just know that my numbers is getting better and better. And, nowadays I can go to sleep a lot earlier =).
  • ronaldvandomburg
it feels like such a waste of time and energy... so many people I have to speak, so little result (in the beginning). I know it's a numbers game and perhaps I have to look at it like nature: nature has abundance and a lot of waste, but it never complains...
  • racingworm
2 a day and all will come your way. It's so simple and yet we all make it so hard. I'm still trying this one on as I tend to make it too hard most of the time also
  • karenandian
Thank you Eric - 2 a day (consistency is the KEY!). Simple, Simple, Simple.
  • Luis (Pelon)
Do you think that if I'm still commited to a job, would it work if we do a bussines reunion of 5 to 7 people from 2 to 3 times a week?
  • 2 friends a day - and freedom comes my way!
  • Again, game of numbers... gives great results, teaches discipline and consistency.
  • ioana17
2 a day it is a great technique. I will start doing it and teach my team to do it to. Thank you Eric. I wish to get to know you one day!
  • Eric, first of all let me tell you Thank you! I have been listening to you and have been making sure people on our team listen. You bless me over and over again. We have had success in our business but have let life changes slow us down. So I make sure to listen to you and implement what you say.
We were taught 2 a day when we first started and it does work. 2 a day, brings freedom my way.

Also, my husband is from Minnesota and his mother and sister-in-law(who are in our business) live in Maplewood.
May God continue to bless you!
    Erika Hilliard
  • FedericoGrowthsperity
This concept is excellent, I have been working myself to make the habit of two a day, I have to admit I am still not 100% there :)

I will be posting a video, that I will record today, called "the power of 1". And builds on this concept.

Eric, Maybe I am completely blind, but I cannot find the "like it" button! I see tweet this, Delicious, digg this, Stumble this, email this... but no "like it" I see the LIKE button on the comments.

I will be tweeting the shows, I think is the best way to spread the word!

    Keep it up!

    Federico
  • KeithN
Great concept for attaining leverage. A simple idea compounded over time will produce remarkable results.
  • lucbehar
    wow......
One of my favorite show Eric
    Thanks
  • peterragg
    Hi Team
Consistant, consistant, consistant, never give up. NM is a simple business that has to be worked hard.

    Kind regards
    Peter Ragg
  • mlvw
I like this! 2-a-Day, I'm on my way!
  • Coming from a company that pushed this concept, which Eric knows of, I've seen people do the 2-a-day. I believe that this drives the kind of behavior that gives our industry it's "bad rep". In my normal day, I do not meet 2 people that it would be natural to talk to about another business opportunity. It's people trying to reach goals like this that have someone walking into a convenience store at 9 PM to give a tape to the cashier (I've seen it) because they are trying to get their 2-a-day. It also brings into play the 3-foot rule. (Anyone within 3 feet of me is gonna hear about my company) I've heard this taught, also. I do not believe that these are normal or natural behaviors and they make people feel uncomfortable. On top of all of that, I don't remember them having any guests at the business briefings anyway.
  • david_high
My goal for the next few months is to make the practice of two exposures a day a firm unstoppable habit.
  • Two a day is doable. I started doing 2 a day everyday, which was working. Then I tried to do more each day, and could not maintain it... So I stopped doing it. But I'll start maintaining 2 a day again, and tell others about it, too.
  • ngocttk
What an amazing simple concept of taking to freedom. Again, you make the NM way clearer. I love your formula of financial independence. Thanks Eric!
  • penaltybox1
    Eric you rock !!!!!
  • randers1
your ability to get a large group of people to do a few simple things over a consistent period of time. Expose your product or opportunity to a new prospect. Every day! This 2-a day concept also helps simplify the day-to-day operations with a number that is measurable and concise. This idea is great, now lets run with it knowing that our backbone is getting stronger with every day that passes.
  • happyhealthybob
that is a great tactic. I ca not wait till i get to apply it to my people.
  • Thanks Eric! Great information! 2 a day!
  • luciabrazell
it's true '2 a day bring money my way' i have seen it happen to other people they stay consistent and i am going to do the same see what happens., last week my husband got fire from his job and i went crazy selling my products and this week he got his job back but i have learned my lesson of staying consistent.
  • hanneretvik
"2-a-Day" = Okey! Starting tomorrow! I am looking forward to learn what the other few simple things of the formula are.
  • Paco_Carreno
I love this area of going PRO... 2 times a day you mean 2 moments when you start the prospecting process or you mean being able to give a whole presentation... I guess I understood 2 expousures as you start an interaction where you invite him/her to a presentation, or you show or you give a tool... isn't it?
  • Hai
Technology is great and it's too easy to hide behind it and I agree with Sherman & Eric. Can't take place of belly to belly, people to people connections. I sometimes, think there is only one of me and one to one would take me forever to grow my business. Thanks, Eric for saying "you think flooding an email would be quick to build your business but it is not. I feel better to have those meaningful connections. whew! slowly but sure...
  • Ton Oosterwijk
"2-a-day" clings very well in with "Width vs. Depth", but I have to admit... I find it a challenge to incorporate in my pattern
  • dstfa96
I love your definition Eric of the formula for financial success in our profession of network marketing, its our ability to get a large group of people to do a few simple things over a consistent period of time. I like the idea of exposing at least 2 new prospects a day. I want to implement it myself and I definitely want my team to duplicate what I am doing. Thanks Eric!
  • Earl
2 a day is a good start. With the low number of 2 you feel like you have enough time to actually choose who you are going to talk to. I can work with that. It is like learning how to ski on the bunny hill rather than the K2 killer mountain slope/cliff. When you mess up, you can correct things before you totally wipe out... It is a great concept! Thanks Eric
  • Glad you tied in the duplication factor - THAT's the real power here. This is a doable activity for a large group of committed people. Nice and SIMPLE!

    Best,
    Scott
  • At the beginning it was easy to do 2 a day, but after few months I'am able to do just 2 a week. This is my problem and I need to make this work.
    Regards
  • BobandPam
An awesome formula when viewed in the long term, which most people don't take the time to review. Thank you for that insight.
  • gerritbronkhorst
I've never consistently tried it because of so many distractions. But even the short time I tried it, it worked for then. I'm gonna start this thing all over again.
  • pickertn
The whole idea of leverage is so foreign to mainstream america, but yet so simple in concept. We must think of others for others to move ahead. Loved it, Thanks!
  • JON FORTI
    IF YOU CAN'T FIND 2 A DAY THAT'S SAD !
  • I would think that following the "2 a day" process would have a great impact on both your skills and your ability to position yourself as a leader in your opportunity. Great concept!
  • conniegleave
2 a day as a ticket to freedom seems like such an easy concept. So...I challenged my team and only 5 took me up on the challenge and of that...none of them (except me) are still doing it.

There must be a secret to getting teams on board with this concept. A hammer & nails??? LOL I'll keep on keeping on...
  • Connor J McDonald
Great advice Eric! So many uplines are looking for immediate results in their business and they always say stuff like "talk to 30 people a day!" This is something that I have always known not to be a good way of doing business, as you mentioned it is a large group of people doing small, consistent actions, not a small group of people doing large, inconsistent actions.
  • shawncyr
I agree with you on this one Eric. When I first started, I was trying to do it all myself. I used my skills and got people to join me. Unfortunately, not all of us possessed the same skills, same desires, so it fell apart quickly because I didn't help them as I should've.
Now I am building a core team and helping them to do the same thing. Duplication, duplication, duplication.
If I tried to do it all myself I'd have to work for years to sign up enough people to make it worth my while. But if I harness the power of leverage with a group and their groups, and their groups, woooo hoooo. Can you say financial freedom???
  • andreabyrge
I think this message is less scary for prospects and new recruits to see themselves doing. "2 a day", like consistent exercise, brings results.
  • Ria Leermakers
    Starting this today!
  • Foord Yates
I like it. I like it a lot.
  • gkamlm
Great point about the basics and especially the value of "good" meetings
  • Damijan81
I've noticed myself that when i implement this in my business i have a lot of action, momentum and excitement. Such a simple concept that really changes your business results. Just trying to keep consistent is the fun bit!
  • Its such a simple concept but I can see how the consistency over time will really pay off.
  • veronikakari
I guess that the only formula. I have to try it.
  • When you break it down like this...it make this business as simple as it gets and just requires consistency like you said.
  • What a simple but great concept. This is like your previous discussion about spending 30-minute segments making calls. Both are so doable and makes our job as network marketers less daunting.
  • mchalk
This is so ironic since this January I made a committment to myself to do just that...talk to two people everyday. NOw to hear you validate that and how it can become a huge strategy by getting others in your organization to do the same really brings the concept of "network" marketing come to life! Thank you!
  • Bea Resnick
Here again is the "Slight Edge" that Jeff Olson talks about. 2 a day doesn't sound like it's very significant. But over the long term the significance will be great.
  • Great video, I'll be including this in our team training. It really does come down to:
    1 - 2-a-day
    2 - Followup!
If you actually DO these two things and keep learning then it will happen for you!
  • deniseschnitzer
Love this....everyday do what you say!
  • jerryscribner
2 a day is the only way
  • bdsfortune
great clip! make it a habbit to make 2 friends a day and the #s go crazy.
  • Just like football --consistency and practice makes for better reaction time to the opportunities we have to promote throughout our daily activities. Way to kick it off! Eric -Congrats to your Vikings!
  • alltheverybest
This is just so simple. I am not kidding myself that it'll be easy to keep it up - but what if I could?
  • gkamlm
Good technique, easily audited and managed and basic.
  • dannyscottlynn
I like 2 a Day (My Group and I will Start It TODAY)

“The one quality that sets one apart from another—the key which lifts one to every aspiration while others are caught up in the mire of mediocrity—is not talent, not formal education, nor intellectual brightness—it is self-discipline. With self-discipline, all things are possible. Without it, even the simplest goal can seem like the impossible dream.”
    Theodore Roosevelt

    Martin Luther King Jr.

Life has plenty of distractions. Television, social networking online, music, hobbies, exercise, play time, family time, time with friends, and creating an income.

The key to managing all these distractions is to focus on the activities that will provide the result of growing your business. The key to your success is cutting out many of the activities in your life until your can put your business on partial auto-pilot. Until you are earning the income that buys back your time whereupon you move steadily towards financial freedom. The kind of freedom that most people will never realize.

In network marketing nothing is more important to the success of your business than other people. Adding two new people to your list every day is the standard in this industry. According to Eric Worre, co-founder of the motivational television channel The People’s Network, one exposure a day will not create the momentum you need to launch your business while three a day is beyond the consistent effort of most people.

With Sunday being your day of rest, tracking your 12 exposures each week will then generate lots of follow up activity with people who want to learn more. In a month you will have contacted 50 new people.

When five people sign up with your business you will now have 250 new exposures happening in your business. Every month. With ten new people you will have 500 new exposures in your business. Every month. This assumes that you create duplication in your business. With ten leaders following the system you will have 6,000 people that year learning about your home business opportunity.

I dare say that when you generate that kind of activity there will be a lot more happening in your business than the numbers quoted above. John Haremza, Master Distributor for Waiora, gives the same example differently. John explains that most people work on the concept of linear income. That’s where you exchange your time and labor for a set income per hour or monthly salary. Most people work for linear income.

The drawback of linear income is that if you stop working, you stop getting paid. Business owners and corporations earn leveraged income from the efforts of the linear income earners. There is greater risk of loss and greater potential for wealth. But corporate and small business owners seldom see the light of day as they go to work early and come home late, often missing the years of their children growing up.

Residual income is getting paid repeatedly for work completed once. Network marketers who create a team of entrepreneurs earn leveraged income and residual income. Imagine the power of having a team of people helping you pay your bills and generating a retirement income.

If you put in an hour a day into your business you will have seven hours a week. No rest in this example because you’re going to the top. Over time three people join you who in turn find three people each to join them. When those nine people put in their hour each day and find 27 people to join them to make a difference in their lives your business gains momentum.

Now there are 40 people spending an hour each day working on your business and theirs. You have a full 40 hour work week going into your business in a single day. Expand that to what we call the 5x5x5 Rocket Ride. Imagine having 125 hours of activity working below you each day.

Then your business is launched. Momentum is created. An object set in motion is easier to keep in motion as it releases from the friction of the runway and the gravity of earth. John says, “The growth magnifies and multiplies your efforts.” It takes you to cruising altitude.

If you truly believed and understood that this residual and leveraged income has been accomplished by hundreds of thousands in the network marketing industry, where people you would consider your self better than are earning six-figure incomes, you would say no to people and activities that steal your time, stop reading non-essential emails and other Internet activities, and commit yourself to the daily activity of producing the one result that is going to launch your business.

Asking two people a day to look at something that could change their life.
  • nickgarrison
I really like it. It is so simple. However most of Network Marketing is simple. It is just not easy. But I can explain like you did and the exponential growth is fantastic
  • breynolds
I love the concept, but how do you create a buy-in for the concept other than doing it yourself over and over and over again?
  • You create it by doing it yourself - be a leader and model that behavior, your leaders within your team will follow your lead.
  • For a visual....imagine your large concert arena in your area. Can you imagine having a sell out crown filling all of the seats (having 30-40,000 people) in that arena? NO, how about the seat on either side of you? Do that a few times and have those people do the same thing. In no time, you've filled that arena of 30-40,000 people - and they're all in your organization. Focus on the power of two!

When you focus on always filling the seats on either side of you, exponential growth is in your reach. Whenever you have an event in town, always take someone for both seats on either side of you. Use opportunity conference calls the same way (imagine they're 'in-person' events) and have at least 2 people on those calls. You'll be on your way in no-time. Believe and achieve...

    I like this show
  • Kjell Englund
Two a day is the future ;-)
  • gloriavintila
Seems like the NetworkMarketingPro shows are follwing the flow of my thoughts, I was just thinking the other day about how to set up my action plan, how many exposures to make per day and so on. And this show reaffirmed my plan, and not only that, but it actually created urgency for me to actually respect the decision I made with consstency.
  • 2 a day is a part of our team training also. It's amazing how this simple concept is missed by many and really does create momentum with each member duplicating this process. Thanks Eric, for all that you do!
  • jaredlow
Either a cassette/DVD/video link. Any form of exposure. Hand it out with posture and with great excitement and urgency.

Didn't really strike me until Eric mentioned about 100 people doing 2-a-day. Wow! That is really really leverage!

    Thanks so much, Eric! :)
  • goingpro
wasn't quite clear on the cassette handout. Was it to your team or to your prospect? Please advise.
  • Eric, what do you mean you put out audio cassetts? You gave them to your people on your team?
Or did you give them out to those who are interested in a home business for themself?
  • You're right about that Eric.
The more people you talk to, the better your skills will be with talking to people.
You feel better about yourself and your self-confidence grows.
  • ulla99
    Hi Eric,
Consistency is one of the most importatnt detail to get growth, but the fear is the enemy which will sometimes keep us back. Your program makes us proud of our profession and will make us strong.
  • gabisahar
    Dear Eric,
I got it, 2 a day! every day, like training, like diet, self decepline.
    Thank you.
  • Do it step by step, day by day and it will happen!

    Love you all
    Alfredo Rodrigues
  • Hi Eric, Just like anything in life it comes back to commitment and consistency to get results
  • annenz
Thankyou Eric. It sounds so simple.
  • eabus
Yep, that would work, I just need to find the ones willing to
    duplicate the process.
  • net22
Thank you Eric, great concept - simple and powerful
  • Thanks Eric.....Lets all be extraordinary !!
  • lopazelasane
    PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • caronwashington
the quote you have in the beginning about the large group is it. Im just now realizing this after years in the mlm industry through Eric and Randy that this is the secret to true walk away residual income. Gotta give the group something daily to do that they can hold themselves accountable to and 2 a day is certainly doable
  • Two a day - - anyone can do that! That's exciting. Amazing how quickly the numbers start multiplying. Thank you!
  • BobbyRay
Baby steps before the long journey.
  • jeanalbert
Excellent! We use the same concept in my company, but your breaking down of the number of exposures a month really drives the message. Thanks again Eric!
  • dougcollins
Once again Eric...you rock! 2 a day...it does not get any more simple than that. Break it down..small pieces of GOLD NUGGETS!
  • Thank you for the concept of breaking it down into simple terms and easy procedure. That is much easier to digest than thinking about the number of new associates and customers that I am hoping to enroll each month for continuous growth.
  • rosslopez
The way I see the whole picture is getting clearer every time I see a new show.
Now I understand the power of duplication and all starts with me, with my daily actions to make this business grow, this way we can transmit the same to our downlines and the people in our organization.
Looking forward to get a ticket to freedom =o)

Thanks for all these messages Eric
    Hugs from Mexico City
    Rossana :P
  • Krisi
BRILLIANT! It's crazy simple-there's no reason not to be doing this. I can do 2 day. Very smart!
  • gmolina
Two a day, easy to do.. Do you like to send our cards?
  • gabyroa
Easy to think in two every day, a not in 100000 never!!!
  • Magdalena
    Very simple...2 a day.
    Thanks Eric.
  • JenniferDu79
I love it. Sometimes we get o busy thinking big picture we forget to take the simple steps ourselves and just share with 2 people a day. Of course the key to this working is consistency. You can't do it only a couple of days a week and phone it in the rest of the time. I am going to definitely implement this myself andhold myself accountable to it.
  • carolmcwilliams
After hearing this explanation for more leverage and traction I realize I need to step it up. In my company we promote I presentation a day and send out 1 piece of 3rd party tool. I must confess it is much easier for me to do the presentation and I am weak on the tools. I am making a commitment to myself to send out more tools everyday. In looking closer within myself as to what blocks me from doing this, I notice I am still a bit hung up in promoting the opportuniy, as I don't want to sound like the sleezy people like in the movie Believe. This is something i need to work on with my mind set so I can feel great about promoting the opportunity.
I'd love to see you do a show Eric on authentic opportunity promoting.

    Thanks,
  • feltricks
One of the few things to do over a consistent period of time.
It's important to keep it as simple as possible to make it as duplicatable as possible.
    It all starts by ourselves.
A lot of work to do.
    Thanks.

Great info! I like the math models. Leveraging is the word to get out and get people to understand.
  • crwood1967
Talk about baby-steps! It seems so simple yet so profound. Until next week.
  • I like the way you put this - I am sharing this post on Monday through my blog! Love listening to you Eric

All genius is always simple. 2 a day will lead to freedom. Let's go tell the world!
If only you could speak Russian, it would be so easy for my team! But it is always simple and not easy!
  • DianaValdez
    I think like you Irina,

if he could have this in Spanish would be excellent. Eric, How about I translate your shows and send you the translation in Word. Would it help you to put it as subtitles or that's too much? I have some people that would really benefit from this and so far I had have to be with them from the Skype pushing pause and translating. I think a lot people could benefit if it were in more languages. Let me know your thoughts.
  • orlyalbo
Thank You! now i see! i start tomorow. my tiket to fridom is wating for me.

If only you could speak Russian, it would be so easy for my team!
  • gloriavintila
    Hi Irina,
Eric's shows will soon be translated, as far as I know, into Russian as well.
  • Irina
Great!!! Thank you for good news! I love it!
  • kamal harris
I love the concept and that is simple to follow. The discipline is in the consistency of actually doing it. Those are some great numbers throughout the organization and some attractive $$'s. I'm certainly promoting it.
  • This is a great reminder of the basics I must apply every day . It is working as you describe and I can see the results in the form of daily and weekly income. Keep the reminders simple and direct. Each day I wait for your comments. On my way to 1000 in 2010.
  • MarvinTowler
I do love this simple concept. 2-a-day is a radical concept. Do you know that radical actually means of, relating to, or proceeding from a root. When you make the roots of your business, well look at what it does for a tree.
  • martinvf
    That's the magic of dupplication.

    Saludos from Mexico City now.

  • Two-a-day keeps complacency at bay...
  • This recipe for success is as simple as a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Thank you Eric for explaining this basic concept so beautifully. I get it and I can do it and I can share it, over and over and over.
  • pollyhulseman
This is something I started the first of the year and is much more managable then what I was trying to do with larger numbers.
  • Dylan Cooper
I was thinking one a day as a goal but I'll change that to two a day!
  • Art D. lasvegas
The concept sounds great! I will start to incorporate it and share it with my group.
  • kristibateman
Great stuff Eric. 2 a day..I can do that..
  • marvalouslife1
this is so simple. i always say this in my workshops.
i also say that networkmarketing is very simple. not easy but very simple.
and with 2- a day technic, it's even more simple.
    try it! it works.

  • geraldmorris
Appreciate you putting it in plain terms! Thanks Eric!
  • Marion
2 a day with duplication is the key!
    Thanks Eric.
  • kgadol
I agree ... a ticket to freedom! Can't wait!! What a pleasure and privilege to have hope to share with others.
  • bornrich4god
    Thanks Eric, that's great information.
  • petegiokas
I liken this concept to the power of exponential growth (I.e. compounding). If everyone just focuses on doing their part, people will be astounded with what would happen in their organizationa; growth and thus their paycheck. The key is to NEVER QUIT!
  • Mindset, consistency and duplication will eventually give you a sizeable organisation and time leverage.
With all the 3rd party tools we have available nowadays there is something for eveyone especially with Internet Marketing. Two tweets a day has the ability to reach millions of people.
  • Robertdiggsjr
I gotta get my 2-a-day! I am excited to get to 600,000...Wow!
  • Pete
I'm glad you said 3 is too many to expect and 1 is not enough. Keep it realistic and keep them in.
  • Erik
I had to watch and comment this one more time since it gave me so much value :)
  • randyhendrickson
You have made this sound easy. Thank you for sharing your ideas with me and all the others

"EACH AND EVERYONE OF US ABILITY, TO GET A LARGE GROUP OF PEOPLE TO DO A FEW SIMPLE THINGS OVER A CONSISTENT PERIOD OF TIME" = LAVARAGE!!!
    I COMMIT MYSELF FOT "2-A-DAY"
  • Superb, doable plan...
  • donham298
    Terrific
2 a day sounds so doable.
    Today I start 2 a day
  • claralondono
Good tactic and many have proved it effective...will do
    thanks
  • Wow what a good rule to make consistancy! It's just amazing.

However there is one question here that bothers me with the plan......2 a day means that you will also need to make exposures to strangers, how do you get introverts in on making two exposures a day where maybe four out of seven days a week is 2 strangers ! Do you have easy ice breakers or tactics that would help them feeling better about it?
  • I agree, do you have any suggestions? I have a few introverts and I'm not sure how to help them break the ice?
  • Well Loretta that's exactly what I'm looking for as a follow up on this excellent episode !
  • Agneta Rebo
This I will really start to implement in my organisation. Thanks.
  • Thanks Eric. 2 a day is ideal, but if someone is hesitant they can do 1 a day, 3 a week, 1 a week just to get them started. They will eventually understand the more conistent they are in exposing others to the product/opportunity the faster their success.
  • Well I did it. 2-a-day. and with 25 minutes to spare. Thanks Eric. A challange to you all. Post that you did your 2-a-day every day to keep you commited.
  • Erik
What I like abouth NMPRO is that it`s not just talk. Never heard anyone telling you exactly what to do to grow your business like you do. Best training in the Industry :)
  • tyroneholmes
Great ...simple activity that anyone can do.
  • Vern Trabue
Folks...lets go to work! Complete the activity and you will see your desired results.
  • mikeyfromvegas
Hi Eric, thank you and I know you are right. To many people that are leaders said the same thing. It is better than a apple a day I can see that. to all have a good one. See you at the top

Great, simple formula to create rhythm and consistency. Simple actions repeated over time will get us there. Let the law of averages work.

2 a day is so easy to do and its easy not to do. Its easy to teach as well so its not overwhelming. Very duplicatible.
  • cherisizzles
Again, I LOVE having something tangible as my "assignment!" This is something concrete that I can hold myself accountable to and know whether I'm giving it 100% or not!
  • Javed Iqbal
Yes! you are right. Its a good scale to measure accountability of ourselves and teams progress.
  • lynn hall
    Very simple 2 a day.
  • dterrell
Great advice, 2 per day is doable. Thanks!!!
  • gjt
2 is very doable great cocept changes my thinking from thinking i have to get them all in one day to a reasonable concept that i would be willing to get someone else to do
  • mlmliberty
A very simple formula to make it big. Thank you Eric once more you share a powerful practical idea to make it big.
    Regards,
    Octavio.
  • coltsco
I really like two a day. I've been trying to do three and sometimes I haven't done it. Two is easier to say to myself "don't quit until you've exposed two".
  • Ellis3
As a professional I like what you said about the business owner would not do 2 a day but if you talked to him about the "network" doing 2 a day he/she would do it. Thanks for the reminder E!
  • Dee_Canada
I know that this is the recipe for success. I guess that means getting off the couch and out into the big wide world eh???
  • germarl
    - Keep it simple and let 'the power of numbers - do the work'
  • Kathy
    Very simlpe formula. Now ACTION!!!
  • Pepeneto
What makes NWM great is its leverage power...you dont have to do all the work by yourself...Its about working hard and building a team that works as hard as you...we need to keep it simple in order to get that...
  • SJ Doug
This is why they say that this is a simple buisness. Now lets go out and do it.
  • jennyc
Great advice, now if I can get my feet into action.
  • bethascoli
This is great...the formula itself is genious, but it's good to have examples of what are "a few simple things".

And Eric, I want to thank you for challenging me to comment on the show every day. I had never commented on any blogs before NMPRO, and even for about the first 100 shows I just watched silently. Then I began to add a comment here and there, but with your encouragement I'm now commenting every day and I really like that it's an interactive conversation. Although, it is getting harder to read everyone's comments now that there are so many!! I know that's not a bad problem to have, but I kind of miss being able to read them all :)
  • cherisizzles
    Hi!
I am like you - I watched the early shows silently, and now I'm so excited to have this challenge to keep me accountable. And you are so right about there being so many comments that it's hard to read through them all. I wanted you to know that I connected with your message and I look forward to seeing you on here over the coming months! ~Cheri
  • bethascoli
Thanks Cheri, I'm glad you are commenting now too. This is such a great community!
  • cherisizzles
    Hi Beth,
So, to show you how new I am to this whole blog thing, I just saw today that you replied to my comment on your earlier comment. :) Wow, I have a lot to learn! How are your days going? Are you staying up with the videos? Learning a lot? I'm doing well so far, but it's nice to know I have fellow MLM folks working alongside me. ~cheri
  • bethascoli
    Cheri,

That's funny, but don't worry, I'm still figuring out a lot of the social media stuff too. Even if you're logging on, it still takes awhile to figure out all the nuances. I am keeping up with the shows and commenting every day per my commitment to myself, and yes I am learning a lot! This is simply the best resource I have ever found in Network Marketing, and I'm really glad that I'm not the only one finding value in it. It does feel great to be connected with so many other Network Marketing Professionals, doesn't it? I look forward to seeing your comments on future shows!

    Beth
  • chipc
    makes sense!
  • Leverage and duplication at it's finest, Eric. Brings back memories from Dave Savula.. All you need is two a day...Do you have 15 minutes for me to show you something? Don't know if you remember that...perhahps not. Anyway...when he trained on that, it was hilarious!!
  • frankdiaz
great segment...Two a day-bring freedom my way!!! Man, I am so busy supporting my team i need to start two a dayn........thanks Eric.....needed the kick!
  • Gustavo Muñoz - Colombia
I am commited to do this.... 2 a day.... and the having a team.....doing the same. what an easy way....
  • Eric, this is the concept that I have been taught recently. Having you back it up gives me confirmation I'm on the right path. K.I.S.S. is how it works best.
  • Gustavo Muñoz - Colombia
is that simple???? sometimes feel that is more then that. You are right about that is just a matter of discipline
  • mirnasalamanques
Voy a Seguir este excelente consejo! Creo que me Dará excelentes resultados! Gracias Eric!
  • Foord Yates
Eric, one of your great friends said to me, "2 a day brings prosperity my way"..... now is a great time for everyone to make this a habit for the rest of 2010.

  • Tarashon Broomes
consistency with 2 a day will help you build your business, when you really think about it, that is really not alot, people on average probably talk to many people a day who they don't even know who could of possibly been a new prospect. to have a team that can consistently do 2 a day can help your team grow and ultimately increase the amount of exposures in your team
  • Thanks Eric, this is great advice! Sounds easy, and I can see that if I commit, it would get easier and easier...
  • Alvaro Rodriguez
I started to do that but I need to be honest and say that in the way I haven´t had the disciplne yet... I have to work on that, I know is the way....
  • Now if you can do that AND be the guy getting the $1 for each CD/tape that is being handed out. 1 million CDs=$1 million dollars + the residual income from the business. Not a bad deal.
  • Two a day . . . sounds feasible. I like it and I think it would sound reasonable to most people who are willing to work to become successful. Yes simple but not always easy . . . but I am willing to do my best at it.

Thanks for the great tip Eric!
  • emmettb
simplicity is the easiest to duplicate. I like this, we are implimenting in my team this week.
  • Jilliangene
It is simple, not easy. This is why I love my team and leaders. We have a system in place and it's a proven system. I have to expose people everyday instead of working on doing it. Over time this serous mind shift of speaking to people, exposing the opportunity, etc., will become normal for me. The waiting to see results is hard for those of us who are use to having instant results. This business is real about personal growth. Great hearing it again. Thanks Jillian
  • Thanks for the good input. This is really helpful information. :)
  • bartonmurray
thanks I will take 2 a day and stay out of the sun! (well maybe not the sun part to be honest;))
  • alcamacho
2 Day! I'm in and i will pass it forward.
  • karivankleef
the motto I began to follow late last year was 2 a day brings success my way. Sometimes it takes me all day to find the 2 but I know I can do it. Now I just have to get my team to believe they can.
  • tambry
I of course have heard the 2 a day before. But liked your explanation of adding to it getting a Large Group to do a few simple things every day.
  • classy70sgirl
Consistency is the key and the figures are mindblowing, Eric! I'm going to work on the 2 a day in 2010.
    Thanks again!

ERIC yOU HAVE SO MANEY WONDERFUL IDEA'S.a VERY GOOG ONE IS GOING WIDE i#219,Then 2 a day in # 220. I am going to put them to work. Thanks a lot .I am sorry last night your web site would not let me post. Hope I made up for it tonight. A.C.
  • georgeman
Love it Eric, simple and very doable. In your opinion, does 2 a day along with some other good habits you teach make someone a Network Marketing pro? If the answer is yes, then it sounds like this would be the minimum needed to be a Pro? Maybe a starting point or a point of reference. Thank You again for an awesome clip.
  • mbryant
GREAT fundamantal lesson. This also speaks to consistency!! Thanks, Eric!
  • lisamb84
Two a day. I can handle that. Challenge accepted.
  • I'm going to show this video at our opportunity meeting in two weeks in my market. This is essential stuff!
  • Claire Cameron
Two a day with follow up will pay! The numbers are pretty incredible when you set it out that way. I like best your comment... I know it seems like 1000 people is a long way off, but if you can get 10 people doing 2 a dya then you will without doubt get to 1000 people doing 2 a day.
  • You're so right. So I got on the phone right after watching and booked two coffee appointments. Amazing!
  • quintaser
Great Tony, little by little, a drop of water goes through a rock, consistency, little by little. Best Regards from Sergio quintana

    The Fantastic Leverage!!!
Discipline and consistency (Dan MaCormick). If we get ourselves and our team to learn to do this every single day, WOW, we are gonna make it, GREAT.

Thanks Eric, Good luck for the Vikings this weekend.
  • bghcancun
two a day, sounds like an imposible thing, but when you think well it´s posible, it´s just organization
  • keithraines
One of our top money earners in my company started out doing 3 a day.
2 a day is doable but consistency is the key I agree.
  • Consistency is the keyword. Sometimes we start with great intentions but we stop! our programming holds us back...
  • julie67
The two a day concept sounds great. I can see how it will really leverage your time. It is nice to have things we can apply in our business. Thanks.
  • Ger
    Love u - u r d gr8est!
  • Darnell
I like this. That's certainly do-able!! Repetition over time will make this much easier to approach new prospects and share one's primary business. Thank you for this action skill....Have an excellent weekend everyone....Looking 4ward to the next video!!
  • CarlosVera
Sounds easy, as long as you do it consistenly and you turn it into a reflex action..............Simple, yet very strong advice......

    Thanks!
  • ronniw
    i'm all over it!!!!
  • janetrajala
    I'm on it--two a day!
  • margarethockaday
excellent, work that 2 a day and watch it grow
  • It's all about leverage. Talk to enough people for each to do a little every day. It's one of the things that make the network marketing business model so powerful. Simple to do - easy not to do. Establishing a new habit is hard.

Your challenge of commenting on your shows over 100 days is along the same lines. Helping us to establish a new habit - do something positive every day. Commenting on your shows gets us into a new habit, but it doesn't make us any money. Talking to two people a day, and teaching others to do the same will put money in your pocket. Do the same 100-day challenge with talking to two people a day and it will change your life! Thanks for keeping it simple.
  • lorijones
I can do this! Thanks Eric. LJ
  • sbratt
As simple as that..... Anybody can do that.
  • But WILL everyone do that?
  • sbratt
Not everybody!!! However me must set an expample
  • That's why 'a few simple things' is paramount. Those simple things MUST be able to be done by the majority of people.
I do my little bit, you do your little bit, we teach others to do their little bit consistently over a period of time and the compound grows.
Just brilliant! This one's a keeper.
  • Foord Yates
Hey Tony - I agree - YES its paramount, and one day you'll be standing on that mount, as Master of All You Survey.

    Foord Yates
  • Wow Eric... I see Jeff Olson and yourself preaching the same stuff!! 2/day and 1 long distance package/ week!! Awesome stuff!!
  • It's the way you say it Eric......:-))
  • Foord Yates
Say it with Energy and Enthusiasm!!
  • 2 brand new prospects every day. Thanks for the great eye opener on duplication and exponential growth. I had never seen it so clearly explained.

    This is great info.

So I can start with with my current list, create the skill of adding 2 a day to the list, build relationships and keep showing 2 a day without any cold and frozen contact. Do you agree?
  • How do you eat an Elephant, 2 bites at a time!!! that doesn't sound too hard.
  • Cee_G
    Hi Eric..
Yes it sounds simple, but if it were truly simple, all of us would have already accomplished it. It is absolutely a reachable daily goal, which means that we can wrap our heads around achieving it each day. As with every goal, it only comes to fruition by acting on it. So therein lies the key to turn: Action. Thank you for your great teaching!
  • Denise Cox
hmm. simplicity doesn't imply accomplishment to me. 2 a day, (to me) breaks what we are doing into the smallest common action. i agree without action nothing happens, but before action, wouldn't you say committment is the key?

committing to the 2 a day and then training and requesting, challenging etc your teams to do the same is critical.

two a day seems SO doable, i can do this - and i committ to it as well!! wink!
  • This is a concept that I will implement immediately! The way Eric explains it, makes it mentally easy to implement. It takes the stress out of the process and is something that can be managed.
  • einargh
Two a day is a good comitment.
  • onemartymac
Consistency is key. Two a day

    Thanks!
  • Gakungu
I really like your formula, Eric. I am going to utilize it. Thank you so much!
  • this is a "every morning" video...to remind get of my but and keep networking !
  • Dave S
2 a day and invite. Seems easy enough. Thanks Eric.
  • tylerwhite
What is easy to do is also easy not to do and before we know it time has slipped away........
  • FrankMarshman
Thank you. I guess the secret is there are no secrets.
  • Don't think....take action!
    It's fun watching your show.
I would couple this Formula with the message from your earlier show..."If I gave this (DVD) to you, would you watch it?...For Sure?...When would you see it?...What is the best number/time to get together (Set appointment)...then give it to them "
    That's gota be effective..when consistently done...twice a day...whole team.
  • amberaimshigh
I've used this in the past! I put two 1.00 coins in my right pocket and couldnt go home until I moved them to the left! By doing and teaching this.... our group grew to 30,000+ in 3 years! Awesome advice today! Thank you!
  • drpricedc
Brilliant in its simplicity, brilliant in its do-ability, brilliant in the leverage, gives no excuses to not succeed!
  • brigittapatel
Great to hear it again....2 a day consistently is the way to freedom.
    Thanks a million.
  • Yet another simple thing to do, now I have to go do it...
  • hillin
For more information about this subject , I advise you Mr Gage Randy's live teleseminar cd's and duplication nation cd's and dvd's.

Thank you for the: “Your ability to get a large group of people to do a few simple things over a consistent period of time”.
I'll go for two a day.
  • maariee
That will be a challenge for me!
  • latachia_2
Your ability to get a large group of people to do a few simple things over a consistant period of time.2 a day.The hardest part is to make it to become a habit. But this will be a habit one would never want to break.

Liking the focus and keeping a log for the 2 a day - and love the idea of an accountability group from Bryan_in_KC and will look to start one - anyone interested?

    Connie T
  • BetterCoffee.dk
    Good stuff Eric.
I use this concept as I learned it from Randy G's MLM cd series.
It's such a nice way to think about it all.
I think it's because it talks to the obsolete programming we have from corporate world.
If we can only believe there will be an outcome, then this steady rythm is akin to the usual day job thinking. (Work for 8 hours, get 300$)

I don't know if that's true, but it works for me!
Even if I have no idea why it works, I still love it because it gives me a handle.
I believe firmly in NM, but I'm no preacher. What I mean is I'm not very good at spreading the message to the world and taking the occasional ridicule etc.
But I'm very good at recommending that someone look at my information and then make up their own mind about what I show them, which is a video combined with a call to an upline person if I see the need.

So for me it's all about the statistics. I know that if I just get people to look at my information I have 20% success. So I go easy into people. I don't preach, I don't try to "save" them or proclaim that we are going to change the world together. I just say: "You ought to take a look at my information - unless of course you believe me (with my track record) to be a complete idiot. Make up your own mind about it and that's it."

I have a need to come across as non-threatening and easy going.
    That works for me.
  • hcapcarp
Two a Day is a great baby step. consistancy is the key
  • susanclark
#220 - Excellent session. I have heard the concept to make 2 calls per day. But, frankly Eric, the way you put it makes it sounds so do-able.I needed to hear this today. Thanks.
  • Getting your team to be consistent in their efforts is definitely key. Two a day is a great way to get your team focused and will produce measurable results. Having duplicatable systems and tools is also a must to help your team reach their goals.
  • jbledsoejr
Great show! I believe you are always in a state of momentum...either momentum toward your goals and success or momentum away from your goals and success. If '2-a-Day' is part of the formula for success/positive momentum then when we don't do this we are creating negative momentum...we are losing ground when we aren't gaining ground. Simple yet powerful concept that has to become habit!

Thanks for sharing Eric! Have a great weekend and go COLTS!!! (that's the ONLY game in town this weekend here in Indy)
  • dalejv
Got to love it! We are taught to keep it simple and 2 a day is as straight forward and simple as it gets.
  • dawnmarielagmay
Two a day is reasonable. I am aware of this concept, now am working on my muscle! I love the way you put things in perspective. :) Exponantial growth is incredible! Hard to comprehend that such a small scale act can add up to the numbers, but they are very true! It is a matter of muscle and belief that It WILL happen! :) Thanks Eric!
  • The Slight Edge Philosophy! Consistency in building that network, building Leverage, Yes, Yes, Yes!
  • genegrass
Great! The "2 a day" comittment. Simple to do, yet simple NOT to do. Commitment coupled with an accountability partner helps the process. Track on paper log sheet. Follow-up!
    Thanks, Eric
  • lauralopez
    Hi Eric
All your shows are great. I tink if I`m very perseverant to make the simple things right, and as you said and its true deliver DVD, send links, call them, visit them, my organization will grow easy, and it is very important for me to train regards the system, encourage the people read once a day, work in their personal development to have a good attitude and is like to atract people to your business
    Have a nice weekend
  • juliehawkins
This 2 a day is a great, we all talk to many more people then that a day do 2 should be no problem. Get out of your comfort zone and make your dreams a reality. This is great what you are teaching Eric it does stretch our abilities to new hieghts thank you again. You are so Appreciated Eric.

    Sincerely

    Julie Hawkins
  • As always, another great idea from Eric. And the best part, this is something your team can duplicate.
  • davidgreene
"2 a Day" is A.O.K.!! Super Simple and Anyone who is Remotely Serious about Short & Long Term Success in their Business can get to "2 a Day" ~ Whether by a Phone Call, an Email- to someone you already know a little or a lot, by Wearing a Button and/or a T-Shirt Promoting Your Company/Product that $trikes Up Conversation w/ People while You are Out & About,etc..Running an Advt. Online or Offline...Talking/Presenting to "2 a Day" is Do-able for Everyone & About those Shirts/Buttons ~ They Work, and ask yourself, when was the last time Nike, Adidas or Reebok sent you a check for promoting their Brand??
  • Bryan_in_KC
We'll be implementing this in our accountability group. If you don't have an accountability group to keep you focused.... start one!
  • drkay
I am glad to hear about the "2-a-day". I had no idea that 1 would not allow for growth and that 3-a-day was not sustainable. Good to know. You're right, anyone can do 2... consistency is the key. But just knowing that it isn't your small effort but the leverage of your "10" teaching their ten, and so on, that produces the exponential growth. Just knowing that there is a point where it will take on a life of its own, is a relief; just having the faith that what you are doing is going to pay off, if you are teachable and getting the necessary coaching. Thank you. I will put that on my "wall"
  • Great stuff Eric!
I have heard of this concept before and used it within my team. Thanks for the reminder. I will use it a again for this year. Last year we used it with each other having being accountable. We went for 25 days each one of us talking to 2 people a day and emailing by midnight who we talked to, and what tool we used.
Amazing fun time with great growth personally to get into the zone of sharing with people. I have also heard a variation on this idea as 2 a day and 10 in play. This meaning that you talk to 2 new people a day and have at least 10 people in your marketing funnel at any time dripping on and moving through the process.
What have others done? How has it worked for you? Please share your experiences.
    Make it a great day!
    God Bless,
    -ed
  • BetterCoffee.dk
Ed, I like your approach with 10 in play.
It gives you a measure of how efficient your 2-a-day is.
If you do 2-a-day and never have more than 4 in play, something is wrong with your initial approach.
If needed one can add a final goal to further measure.
    How about 2-a-day, 10-in-play, 1-a-week-goes-your-way?
That would be 10% success, which is pretty common I believe.
Personally I don't monitor any further than 2-a-day, but that's because I believe in the system and the tools we have enough to just do the minimum daily behavior.
And I can tell that it works!
When I'm consistent in my actions my results follow.
Unfortunately I can't always stay consistent due to work, but I try as hard as I can.
  • Thanks for the reply. I really appreciate it.
The one goes away idea is great! I will keep that in mind next time I am doing training.
Having a measure to see if you are consistently having a 10% success rate is amazing for people.
Thanks again for sharing. To your great success.
    God Bless,

    AWESOME!

One exposure in the morning and one in the afternoon - no more excuses of having not enough time to this business!
  • oryah
well !!!!! 2 a day is a great idea !!!!!!! I take it as a rule from today on!!!
    thanks!!!!!!!!
  • I practice at least two a day consistently - will make sure and consistently reinforce this with my team. I think it becomes less intimidating for people the way you present the variety of ways in which to achieve that goal - thank you.
  • turjcxg
    Eric,

question for you: Would this be the NMPRO episode to show prospects who watch your company business opportunity video and then tell you "It looks good but I still don't get how you build the business."

Two of my prospects watched my company video and then told me they still couldn't figure out how they would go about building their business.

I think this is a great strategy primarily because it hits the sustainability button right on the head.
  • paulsoto
very well, 2 a day, simple and duplicatable... thanks a lot Eric.
  • WOW I can try but it would be talking to 2 strangers a day
  • BetterCoffee.dk
    Kevin,

    Go try it!
I have better results talking to strangers!
It's all about figuring out how you feel comfortable approaching people.
I always start out with something like: "I know this might seem a little bold since we only talked for a few minutes, but I get the feeling you might find what I do interesting. I have a 15 minute video and some other information. Would you like to get together and look at it sometime?"
If the prospect is interested, make sure to make the appointment within the next 48 hours if at all possible.
Look to Randy Gage's cd series and Ken Dunn's Secrets of Simplicity for guidance on how to find your own approach.
  • THANK YOU FOR THE INPUT
  • gabor73
    Hi Eric,

This is great idea. May take some effort to be confortably doing it every day but well worth it :)
  • Great to hear that again! Yup, I am practicing 2 a day almost EVERY day! My husband will vouch for that!
  • LisaR2010
Such a simple concept, and so easily duplicatable. Thank you Eric!
  • gmeyerson
Great contact, heard it before, but as always, you explain it very well

  • aileens
I've got it. As usual its so simple !!
  • edith kohler
This is not the first time ,
you told us before ,but as usually,it's a good thing you repeat it
    so thank you again
  • ybimbalanced
I like the way you explain that. 2 a day, exponentially, build a huge organization. Thanks!
  • timandtrcia
This is perfect timing with a perfect message. We're launching a recruiting campaign tonight and we'll play this segment for the team. Thanks for this focus and strategy.
  • John Crowder
So true Eric, this business is simple but it's not easy. Thanks for the reminder
  • As always, thank you for you leadership.
  • Eileen
I can definitely do two a day! Thank you!!!
  • HoracioMejia
Great definition of Financial Independence in Network Marketing. "2 a day" might be one of the main "commandments" in Network Marketing. I am still working on my ability to show the opportunity every day. I can do it, i will do it. Thank you Eric on this week's emphasis in going wide.

    Thanks

2 a day keep in play...
  • jean_albert
2-A-day is just like what you & Dan Catto presented: Simplicity, Basic Fundermentals, and Duplicatable.
    Thanks for the tip!
  • dougharkins
Thank's for the instructions and direction to head to.
  • The consistency of 2 a day works! Some days you may not get 2 a day but some days you make expose to 5 in a day so the math works out.

We have done this for over 2 years now and have over 10,000 in our downline. The key is to be consistent! Now making a 6 figure income.
  • cherisizzles
Very encouraging to see others who definitely agree! So even though I may not always have much success with the 2 a day I talk to, I'm bound to get better at it, and have more success as I go along and stay consistent! Thank you!
  • You can do it! It gets easier as you go and just becomes 2nd nature. The hard part is getting started. My wife and I make a game of it.
  • cherisizzles
    Hi Tyler,
I LOVE that you and your wife do this together and that you turn it into a game. I don't know if my husband will ever get into it that much with me, but I do love your energy!! Thanks for saying that it gets easier as you go and becomes second nature. I'm STILL struggling to get past that point of "beginner." I loved Eric's video on a "major blast." I think that's what I need to do, and then stay consistent with my 2 a day. Thanks, Tyler!
  • Tony Murray
A great way to explain the concept to business people.
  • Great Formula, step by step with discipline! Thanks Mr. Worre!
  • soxfan071
two a day! I'm on my way. Financial Freedom is the goal.
  • jlconner
2 a day. What a concept. I've been told 3 per day. You are right 3 per day is difficult. I believe 2 a day will be much simpler and more consistent. Thanks Eric. I'm not sure I got credit for the last post.
  • jlconner
2 a day. What a concept. I've been told 3 per day. You are right 3 per day is difficult. I believe 2 a day will be much simpler and more consistent. Thanks Eric.
  • Great post on this concept Eric. This is do-able. You do have to be consistently persistent with this. I try do do a spin off of this with "2 a day and 10 in play" - Hand out 2 tools (cd's, dvd's or magazines) about you business and keep 10 in play ALL THE TIME....Follow-up, Follow-up, Follow-up.
  • guydrennan
#220 Two brings Freedom your way. I start applying this, and even if I am terrible at it, I can improve.
  • Hi Eric. Okay, you're right. I've been nervous about this but I will do it. And I'm starting today. Thank you for showing me the way / Linda , Sweden

Your lesson of not being superman is something I have been focussing on a lot. It is helping me to build new legs of business.
  • cmattern
There is great wisdom on consistency. It is something that many know about, but few follow through on. Thanks for putting it in such an easy to assimilate manner.
  • I see, it's pretty simple to expose your business 2 times a day. Just make a commitment, do it by youself and teach your people to copy you, give the tools out.
It's amazingly simple, like all genious things!
    Thank you Eric.
  • highimpact0406
As many people have mentioned before my comment, "this is very doable" and so it is! The intentional effort is what it takes to make it happen, and I am guessing, for most of us, that will indeed be the challenge. If what you say about 2 a day gives you the ticket to freedom, then I am in! Thanks Eric...
  • smreed
You explaned the "2 a day" concept so well Eric, thank you!
  • daddykekere
Thanks for making it simple. 2 a day is very "doable".
  • Daniel Glez.Peña
Hi Eric I´m gonna tell you in spanish: Un grupo de personas haciendo cosas simples durante un periodo consistente de tiempo.
Very good. Can you tell us something about attack cold list???
    Saludos.
    Daniel y Natali Qro. 2 a day¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
  • kgoren
2 a day is the plan. As you said, "Your ability to get a large group of people to do a few simple things over a consistent period of time." It makes total sense and so doable for everyone." That's what I want....exponential growth.
  • dlinkhart
I have heard this concept many times before, but never in quite this way, and it is so doable! For those of us who don't have a wide circle of friends, we can arm ourselves with our flyers and go out and start conversing with people at Starbucks! Thanks!
  • heatherbrocklehurst
Why do we make it so complicated! This is the simplest concept in the world! I can do this.
  • Vange01
Thanks Eric, Two-a-Day will be my daily activity....two-a-day!!!
  • drmikempa
Small baby steps, is all it takes
  • Fantastic idea, really a successful principle, i will continue this wonderful yet powerful tactics, thank you Eric for your daily motivating episodes, i love you sir..........

2 to the power of 10 over one year equals freedom.
  • ockaren
I love the simplicity of two a day, it is absolutely do-able!
  • Thanks Eric - this is a great place to start. To do consistently every day will require discipline and some planning like logging in daily to comment. Once you start doing something you get metrics - what gets measured can be improved. Nothing starts until a sale is made and you've got to market. This is going to be fun.

thank youEric, a great point just thinking about does not work, 2 a day it s a better consept
  • christinaglazar
Just listened to Eric's 2-a-day. Wonderfully put into word what we have to do and how to explain it in a simple way to prospects what they have to in order to build a business. Doesn't sound impossible and is very simple. Power is in simplicity!!!!
  • lisabooth
    I love math! Thanks Eric!
  • David Wright
When a leader tells his new prospect to call 15, 10, or 5 a day, it's overwhelming at the though and frustrating. Yet 2 a day doesn't seem so daunting, so it becomes simple and duplicatable.

    What magic!
  • Lorraine
I love the tactic. It comes down to being consistent.
  • TAbrams
Great tactic and it is so true. You need to build discipline and continually compound your leverage within your organization. Once this becomes a part of your every day regime, you will see yourself then exposing your business / product / opportunity to many more than just the bare requirement that you have set.

I was taught "3 exposures a day keeps the bill collectors away"...
  • This so true and Awesome!!!!!!
  • JudasPierce
this business its so simple....not easy....SIMPLE......now you just need to do a show that will help your viewers create a 1 min presentation for their business...so that they will get the confidence to go do the 2 a day....i have been doing 3 a day and it has changed my business forever...thanks for the shows....i love learning more and more
  • latachia_2
Yes,that would be a great show.
  • I'm certain that "The Worre" has exactly that in mind, he's that kinda guy :-)
  • I so love the power of two! amen amen amen amen
  • I’m keeping a copy of my comments to the video series, as a kind of summary refresher of what’s been presented. The NM Formula for Financial Independence is simple, but a keeper - “Your ability to get a large group of people to do a few simple things over a consistent period of time”. "Expose your product or opportunity to two people a day, 25 days per month" is a winner, because of its eventual results and the fact that the action is sustainable.

Since many people don’t realize the power of compounding, I think it would be good distributor training to give them some total exposure numbers, as you did in the video.

    Hi Eric

Well that just make a lot of sens and that is why i love Social media now i can talk to more than 2 per day on mail i send out with info about my comany with out be in a persons face with my MLM and the people love the way i work .

I do not give links out people ask me for that and that works ot ave on 2 a day WOW !!!!

    Regards
    Theuns
  • I've discovered I don;t spend much time on the phone and end up doing too much of this PC stuff so I am going to make a daily discipline of calling people on the telephone. Some of these might be the 2 a day but hopefully I will meet in person so I can use my personality, passion and enthusiasm to persuade.
  • 2 a day is perfect especially when new people ask "What do I have to do?" and you reply with, "Just 2 exposures a day," in their eyes, that is very doable.
  • John Spardella
Eric is passing down some awesome old wisdom. J. Paul Getty, "I'd rather have 1% of the effort of a hundred men than a 100% of my own effort. Ahhhhh, the power of LEVERAGE.
  • Sometimes, it's easy to get distracted but if you have a decent enough discipline of yourself; you can get back on track and carry on. You've got me pumped up again Eric! I'm telling my clients this. Some of them take it "and run with it". Nice!
  • barryburgin77
Discipline and consistency. 2 a day. That certainly is an example of "the slight edge" philosophy. easy to do and easy not to do. Either way, somethings gonna happen.
  • fc34615
You'd better expect to see a tremendous amount of momentum going which will automatically yield amazing results if you follow this theory.
    Thanks Eric,
    Fernando.

Hi Eric, Thanks again. Master the mundane. 2 A-Day, easy to do, easy not to do. Always appreciative.

    simple, powerful, IT WORKS!
  • NANCY ELDRED
    Eric - YOU'RE THE BEST !!!

2 a Day - How simple is that ?? Very Simple. It's REAL and ACHIEVABLE with RESULTS
Then when you threw in the math on the duplication part .. WOW ...

As we all know the more we do something the easier it gets - To start off with 2 a day - brilliant
  • tommycone

Keep it simple, "2-a-day". Now go do it and so my team how.. Thanks
  • rasdaniels
I got it; two a day and teach my team to do two a day for financial success - work this muscle!!!
  • MattinJaxfl
Eric, I don't watch to become confused with some sci-fi geek but,the more I watch the more I become convinced that you are "The Jedi Knight" of network marketing. Your ability to simplify, explain, and provide justification for these concepts is terrific.
  • Zeissy
As Eric said;) simple not easy!
  • Daniel W. Cook III
    #11
This is what I'm talking about!! It's not about training people to be "Ninjas"... Keep it simple and consistent in 2010.
  • Excellent strategy...... 2-A-Day!
It doesn't seem too daunting a task - only 2 people.
I guess the trick is to be disciplined enough to do it , and do it EVERY day!
    Thanks Eric.
  • Carlos Perez
This is great, so, first thing is a Major Blast, them a steady 2 persons a day and duplicate so all your people do the same. simple actions that everybody can do easy, over a consistence period of time.
  • eddyoshaughnessy
Great simple strategy - thats a stone cold fact !
  • Athletes4Health
It's like you're reading my mind. I was just thinking about this concept yesterday. I figured 2 exposures a day for 365 days and if only 10% became a customer or join the opportunity... that's 73 new people in my organization. For me that would be huge. Thanks Eric.
  • billrogers
Great nugget! Discipline, focus, follow up business will explode. Nothing complicated, keeping it simple.
  • kayanita
Yes, ur right if we get discplined to do the simple things of 2 a day, we can teach it! Why do most of us try to complicate everything!
  • Bernadette
    2 A Day! Thanks Eric!
  • Consistent efforts will pay off. Remember that most people are use to network marketing everyday and dont get paid for it. Everyone recommends and promotes. Thats what this business is all about recommending and promoting.
  • garyparmenter
"Two a day!" Keep it simple! Pass it along for exponential growth. Thank you
  • This is a fantastic and simple concept that works extremely well it requires leadership to be consistent, and keep everyone focused...the best thing about this profession is it is a leadership factory!
  • Even better, people can report back their 2 a day without it being too onerous.
  • carybennett
Thanks Again Eric, another great show, great to hear again and to hear it put that way was awesome, keep it up, thanks..
  • raybeattie
Two a a day and you will grow as your group grows. Good stuff, Eric.
  • eugenejohnson
awesome message.....great thing that this is a staple in my company but i kno i got to do a better job to make sure my inner circle feels as passionate about this message as i do..... its easy to do and also easy not to do very slight edge.
  • The BIG numbers are mind-boggling, but 2 a day is easy to do.
  • ritafulton
Very simple and easy to do..being consistent is what I need to work on for sure..2/day every day.
Reminds me of the "Slight Edge" and the "secret of the penny" story.
    Great ..now go and do!!
    Thanks Eric
  • chriskemp817
It really comes down to being consistent everyday. 2 a day concept is something that everyone can do. I love it.
  • 2 a day brings freedom my way.....
  • denisekay
Two Yes's! Liking the numbers. Again the show hits home. Also simple is better than easy and makes a difference.
  • juanfernandogutierrez
SOOO True!!!! this has to be duplicated NOW... In the beginning it is weird and difficult but it can be done, I will begin today... Don´t go to bed until I get my two a day.... thank you
  • two a day to keep the bills at bay
  • Thank you again Eric! I like focusing on the fundamentals.
  • mrtoringe
My first comment here:) Thanks for providing this great site Eric! love your work, and this video is so so so true.
  • destrie
Two a day is our ticket to freedom. Thanks Eric
  • As always...you're right Mr. Worre! Love to see your passion about our profession. You're the best! Have a nice weekend, and take good care. Best regards from your biggest fan.
  • Donna Wheaton
    Hello Eric

" 2-a day" is the key to success. I have been told that from the beginning I just have to put it into action. Just go out and meet someone build a new relationship by doing 2-a day. Building by doing 2-a day and teaching your team to do the same and then you will have GROWTH!
  • Jose Lopez
Two a day! Simple, yet so powerful! Thanks for the reminder.
  • I like this because it is scalable too. Once proficient at 2 each day the natural progression is 2 in smaller and smaller portions of the day. In the beginning 2 each day doesn't create many ripples into the future but as someone becomes more proficient... they begin to see the qualities that are present in people who will say yes to looking at the opportunity... the number of each successive followup begins to increase as well. If you stop adding to the funnel/pool/list two things happen. The pool dries up and it becomes more difficult to 'start over.'
  • I've read it and heard it before but it, actually, is the first time that I was sent out the door to do it: "And don't come back 'til it's done!" Well, Eric Worre sent me out and I can't desappoint him... He is sooo nice.
I've always thought of myself as a rebel. I even warn my kids about being institutionalized by the school system but I am the one who is going out to do it 'cause someone I trust told me to.
    Thanks for the eye opener!!
  • gillym1
You know what Eric? You are right yet again!
  • marycalvillo
Thanks Eric! Excellent training - consistency trumps drama every time!
  • Don Harrington
Take 2 asprin and call me in the morning.
The simple concept of 2 a day is great. However, how do you teach people to approach those 2 people?
    1. how to open a conversation
    2. how to shift the conversation to peaking the business
    3. how to invite to hear more.
The hardest thing for most people is to approach people they do not know.
    Thanks for your support!
  • I guess that is why you should have two a day 'cause you could O.D. with more. ;~)
    1. Breathe deeply and think of something nice to say.
    2. Wait for the person to open a door. Don´t rush.
    3. At least, exchange phone #. and emails.
Do not approach: stand in a line or seat beside a persone and wait a little before talking. Forget about business for the next few minutes. Just get the feeling if you would like to meet again with that person.
Well, at least that is what I do when I get off my butt.
  • Jilliangene
You are so right. The key for me is
    1. spend more time listening (don't rush - breathe)
    2. doing the introduction when it is a stranger in a strange place (get phone # or email)
    3. following up after the meet and greet.
    4. Getting off my butt. (past few days I have been locked in my room)
I"m not sure if I will OD with more. I just get sick (discourage) of hearing my belly aching and excuses coming back to me from the new people. Once I turn my mind around (stop the self pity), I can do it and realize like me they haven't been shown the true light of MLM.
Look forward to getting off my butt and standing up as a professional.
    Jillian

Question:How do You get a large of group in the first place? What to say and how to say it is what I am missing.
  • latachia_2
What to say,& how to say it.I have the same problem. What to say & how to say it would make a big difference.Eric already had a show on when you get past that point& are ready to give the DVD to the person, but the problem still remains on what do you say after "it's a nice day"" or whst ever. We don't want to throw up our info on them, just be able to say the right thing in order to be able to get to the part of giving the exposure to them& getting their phome number& /or email.
  • Answer: You don´t get a large group in the first place. You try to get two a day and then try to make them dothe same thing you do. After a few months, you will have learned what to say and you will have a large group. Isn't that fun: every day 2 people. Some will finally hear you. Write down what you said right and share with us
  • neilclements
    Hey Ericd

Very Excellent explanation of how growth of a Network should be developed. I appreciate all of your content.

My mentor once told me: "Put 2 small stones in your left pocket every morning. When you throughout the day have spoken to a new prospect, move a stone from left to right pocket. When the left pocket is empty, today's work is done, and you're on the right track”. Good advice.
  • Inger
It is simple to do... but also simple not to do...
So that's the 'difficult part of it!
  • Well that is so simple..and why are we not all doing that? as a side note..is it the black outfit or are you achieving success with your fitness goals? Looking great Eric! So I will redo my training and just be that
simple...! System work 4 international markets too?
  • Maxwellhealth
The mantra over here has been a simple one...."Two A Day and Follow Up Will Pay".....simple but oh so interesting how some will turn simplicity into stupendously complicated.....some will confuse simplicity with easy......great message Eric...embrace the disciplines of simple action over a consistent period of time and the large group will result!
  • bartar20
Thanks Eric, simple and true, more than 2 might be overwhelming, less than 2 not enough leverage, make it part of my daily ritual.

    Barry
  • Cool. Like your style. Appreciate info.

Have a fantastic day into the weekend. Hai

  • Episode 11 of Eric Worre's 100 Episode Throw Down Challenge:

Hey Eric... As Usual Great info and Timely! That is a very simple formula and VERY Duplicatable. The KISS Method at it's best.

I just read a book that some on here might like and be useful. It's called Leadership and self deception- Getting out of the box.. It talks about working with others and getting your ego out of the way and serving others first. Easy read. less than 200 pages well worth the $15 I spent on it.

Hey Eric Prepare this big secret two day all day every day unfortunately what easy to do is easy not to do as the biggest Jim Ron
  • Brilliant Eric. Thanks! A must watch for new people!

Great advice. Again something very simple that is able to be duplicated. All about the numbers. I will implement this and see what happens
  • rmgmag
I have heard this before, and it IS a simple thing to do, but it's not easy......
  • DianaValdez
My first reaction was "where the hell am I going to get 2 new prospects a day?????". I think though, it is a very good tactic and I'm going to do my best, instead of focusing on where to get those people I'll focus on finding two, just that.

We'll see how I did in a month!
  • By the way! Thanks Doctor!
  • Steve_Nelson
It almost sounds too good to be true! I'm not syaing it is... but wow this profession is easy!

Keep it simple, stupid (= the kiss principle)
2 introductions a day, bring freedom your way!
heard that phrase before, but not the mathematics behind it.
    it's allmost unbelievable, yet true!
We sure have a better way!
    Warm regards, jeroen from Belgium
  • Erik
    I agree, great comment :)
  • agelfederico
Do you think this might be a good thing to tell prospects before joining, or only after they have already joined the company?
  • DianaValdez
    Hi Federico,

looks like we are in the same company! ;) I would say, you don't train people until they started the business, meaning, when they joined. Sometimes they seem very convinced to start, in the meantime you start sending information and everything as if they were in already. So far I have seen that it pulls them away, the best thing, I think, is to send them a bit of the basic information until they really sign in.

Wish for you a lot of success.
  • agelfederico
    Hi Diana,

Thank you very much for your recomendation, and best wishes. The same and more for you and your loved ones for the 2010
  • Outstanding! Thanks.
  • hpena
Perfect practical advice. Combine all the lessons we have learned thus far and focus on the "2 a day" outcome. If applied consistently, it will create massive success.

2 a day is great way to start. Baby steps, to help new people get started and others to restart.
People ask, "what do I need to do", here's a way, kiss.
  • mrmauriocrawford
Eric! This is great! Jeff Olson talks about this all the time. You guys are soo alike. I love your take on it and the way you break it down into detail.

MY QUESTION: Do you think there could be a way that we could "Favorite" almost like a bookmark, so we can go back to them often, especially if we find that particular video to be extremely helpful?
  • yuvalcohen
    Thanks Eric
I take the idea of 2 exposures per day
  • Going back to basic and simplicity -- I LOVE this! Thanks, Eric!
  • germanjaramillo
That simple. We just have to give the opportunity for people with great attitude every day, drawing tools and a system created all the time and teach people to do the same.

In my personal case has been very important all the time to be teaching the team to do the same, especially since I am the first to do for the team to see what to do.

And .. the other thing that I have begun to bear fruit is to push new ones in the beginning to do so, calling them and encouraging them to take action to offer my presence at meetings at home if you call your people.

    Happy weekend to all.

    -GJ
  • Great concept and fundamental lesson.
  • hlj521
Eric, Thank you for being such a great leader! Keeping it simple by talking to 2 people a day is such a great way to stay focused and not to get distracted by the outcomes. Thank you!
  • Jillian
Well that sure is an example of a simple concept and the then when you project the numbers it certainly validates the formula and the "its a numbers game" theory.
  • tomlacey
Simple but powerful. Two a day to keep the boss away!
  • Erik
Keep the boss away ? :) Yes someone told me that a JOB stood for : Just Over Broke. And that`s true, the system is made just to keep you going. Great comment :)
  • Hans
I want my TICKET TO FREEDOM so badly! Guess I'll just have to do and teach 2-a-day! Sounds logical and doable! Thanks once again, Mr. Worre!
  • anthonyviglietta
Simple....yet brilliant. This goes back to the comment I made yesterday. Thanks Eric, and have a nice weekend.
  • jeffreyhall
Back to the basics. Simple is best!
  • dougcollins
Great tactic Eric. So basic...but yet to powerful.
  • peterburrows

Simple but powerful. Now lets go tell .....
  • mariasiro
Oh it is so simple !! lets start doing it now.
  • wouterdeprez
    Simple, basic, but so valuable..
  • Erik
Half way into the video I was thinking , this time I do not agree. But in the second part you told what I wanted to hear, 2 a day gives you a few bucks. -what you need is a lot of people doing 2a day and your group will grow like crazy. The secret is in the skills to learn others to do the same, not only you doing it. Thanks for a FANTASTIC show.
  • clickjt
Thanks Eric for this succinct game plan. This is a kernel of profound truth to me.
  • Two exposures everyday!! can really change the whole game :)

    Thanks
  • Mark_Abrahams
Keeping my thinking and actions simple is what I am learning to do better. I am so happy to be part of this business and to be changing my corporate habits and thinking. Thanks for this latest contribution, thinking exponential growth, getting a large group of people to do a few simple things over a consistent period of time. I get it.
  • denagottlieb
YES! Why is it that I believe everything you tell me? You are so darn convincing!
I have no doubt that you are right.
Thank you for reminding me of this, although I probably do it anyway, without realizing it.
I will focus on 2 a day now.
  • Lisette
    Thanks again Eric!
Why do we people have to complicate things?
    If things don`t work....simplify!!!
This year is going to be our year..no doubt about that.
    Have a nice weekend.
  • Cheers Eric. A good reminder of how to create leverage.
  • WOW... That is what have been taught to do! In my company, it part of our 10 core commitments ,getting 2 a day! I can say that is a great concept.
  • jpmendoza
Two a day consistently over a period of time, simple concept. Now let me put this into action!
  • beckydesabah
It's all about discipline, right? If I get to discipline myself to contact 2 people on a daily basis, no matter what, sooner or later my organization will be growing faster and will be duplicating. If the formula is "doing a few simple things over a consistent period of time" with "a large group of people" it all begins with this discipline.
Such a coincidence... "2 a day" was one of the topics in our special training today with my sponsor.
Thanks Erik.... have a wonderful weekend.
  • Simon_and_Lia_NL
years ago in the late 70's we knew the expression "2 a day, keeps the doctor away" (refering to vitamins for children).
Amazing that this concept is still alive (but in a better way), easy to remember, easy to practice
    see you on friday...
  • simple tasks over a consistant period of time.
  • keith murfet
Thanks for the challenges Eric. Two a day for the business - daily response on here. Great growth techniques that I'm seeing the benefits of already.
