NMPRO #236 – Easy is NOT the Answer

February 7th, 2010 Email This

So many of you want what you really don’t want and that is for building your Network Marketing business to be EASY.  Guess what?  If it’s EASY, they aren’t going to pay you very much.  Instead, decide to become better so you can do what other people can’t… and get to live like other people don’t get to live.  Dear NMPRO community, what are YOUR thoughts?

Thank you Eric for the great message & the great video. Yep! My wish is to be a better man, everyday and in every way.
  • Brett
I HAVE GOT TO GO THERE.........SERIOUSLY.
  • Jonathan
Nobody said life would be easy. Why should NM be any different? It's about challenging yourself. Raise the bar.
  • aliceflanders
I think at times that most of us want the easy way out. The problem with that, is that it is the way OUT. I need the way IN.
  • heatherbrocklehurst
I think if you work at getting better, it will get easier. Nothing worthwhile is ever easy. I know, I have six kids!
  • wealthandriches
I hear Jim Rohn! Thanks Eric. You are so right. You're videos are making us better. Thank you for each one of them.
  • I use to tell my business partner in my former business, we get paid to solve these problems....and we get paid well! And it wasn't easy.....now, that doesnt' compare to MLM, but the concept is the same.

I think a lot of "us" have given the wrong impression that it is easy b/c we dont' want to scare someone away by telling them it will be hard.....but in the long run, we are doing them a disservice by doing that.

Your killing me w/ the Australia footage....one of my top places to want to visit....need to go get busy!
  • yitz613
It's true, the business is not about being easy. It's rewarding ,challenging, and unique in that the more we help others grow and pass on the gift, the greater we become. And it all starts with skills and our ability to learn and grow. The faster, the faster our success.
  • I don't agree. It IS easy. The reason some get paid so much is because so many people in the world are so indoctrinated by "normal" thinking, that it takes time (and determination) to get rid of this indoctrination. As the networkmarketingprofession will get more professional and more accepted by mainstream thinking it will get easier and easier. The current leaders are the people that carve the road thru the wilderness of mainstream thinking wilderness. The more the road gets carved out, the easier it will become. Give it another few years and it will be a piece of cake. And since MLM is currently only taking a tiny slice of the cake of the worldeconomy that piece of cake will be huge. If you, Eric, think you are earning a lot now, wait till the road is completed.
  • nmpro4ever
    i agree with you 100%.
  • Dylan Cooper
Great view! It's a shame about the cloud cover. I had the same thing there!

No-one can stop you from developing yourself and making yourself better. When you think about it, that is truly exciting.
  • I get this. So how do we put this concept alongside the other concept of the importance of duplication & simplicity?
  • Oh if life was only easier....it would be boring....don't you feel great when you find a solution to a problem? In the long run, harder is better....
  • John Boyd
Easy I can do - Harder is hard work!
  • Just like JR said: Don't ask for things to be easier, ask to be better...
  • meagankellytorres
I can just hear Jim Rohn "dont wish it were easy, wish you were better". I agree 100%!
  • Calvin Boutilier
I plan to get better! Thats the only way!
  • susanjohannesson
I will learn the skills, and I will help others to learn the skills too. I never thought it would be so difficult to change. It is one thing to understand what you should become, but another thing to be able to become...
  • Gustavo Muñoz - Colombia
Sometimes we would like things pretty easy and from this video I get the opposite
  • Elaine Baril
“There are always two choices. Two paths to take. One is easy. And its only reward is that it's easy.”
  • classy70sgirl
It's true, we all need to rise to the challenge and better ourselves!
    I'm working on that.
    Thanks again Eric.
  • This is great timing. A couple of days ago, I was wishing that more people get it right away. Then I heard Jim Rohn speak in my head saying don't wish it was easy but wish you were better...
  • jlt0wn
"If it’s EASY, they aren’t going to pay you very much. Instead, decide to become better so you can do what other people can’t…" says it all. I tend to learn more when the task is harder or from my mistakes. Easy just doesn't always sink in or the knowledge stay with me. Of course, I'd still like that magic wand. . . :-)
  • Inger
Very inspirational... wow! Nothing worthwhile is easy is a quote I heard somewhere... So let's get more skills!
  • Damijan81
If it was easy there would be no money, couldn't agree more
  • For every new people who join MLM companies says it is so easy to make money, just come on board and you will be rich. But most of beginners quit very fast, and only those who stays for few years, become successful.
I think we need to stop saying to prospects how easy it is and tell them the truth.
    And the truth is:
*It is 2-4 years game plan.
    *Stick with the system.
*Listen to your sponsor and do what he says, even if you think it is wrong.
  • jeanalbert
Work hard, never quit, and persist! Some leaders make it look easy, but it really isn't. They just work harder then the average network marketer. And that's how you become a network marketing pro!
  • Robbin
    This business takes stamina!!
  • FedericoGrowthsperity
This topic is one that I am very emphatic when I introduce my opportunity... And considering I have now more experience and better posture, it comes across as a challenge for prospects, maybe before it came across as "don't try this, its hard"

What is more valuable than a person? Nothing right? Then since we build people, this has got to be the most challenging and most rewarding profession on earth!

    Federico
  • Donna Wheaton
Chris once again thank you so much for your words of wisdom!
  • I've never thought about it like this. I am up for the challenge.
  • Lotta
    Worth considering.
  • crwood1967
Anyone who say's, "It's so easy a caveman can do it" is lying to you! This business is not easy! Thanks again for the great insite.
  • NexusResources
47 days smoke free - no so easy, giving up unhealthy food harder
  • AdvocareJax
No matter how many different ways we try to look at it, the answer is always our own personal growth.
  • Every beginning is HARD ! Easy is not worth much.
  • gkamlm
No question, anything that is too easy, no one makes any money.
  • lucbehar
    236:
    ohhhhhh yes so true!
    hard is good
    challenge are fun
challenge build us stronger and better
Best sprots matches are the best, we will never remmeber from the easy ones
  • Bea Resnick
First, thanks for sharing that awesome experience with us! Very cool! When I was much younger I used feel so frustrated by how hard it was to prepare holiday dinner and have everything turn out right. My mother-in-law was one of the most gracious hostesses I've ever known and while everything was delicious, she also made it look so simple. The good news is - it has become much easier as the years have gone by. But there's so shortcut. It takes experience and practice to make the difficult easy. It is about becoming better. You're right.
  • Vonnita2010
I COMPLETLY AGREE WITH YOU ERIC, EVERYTHING THAT IS TOO EASY IS FOR EVERYBODY, THE SUCCESS LIES IN THE CHALLENGE AND A CHALLENGE IS NOT EASY, BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO OVERCOME IT SO YOU CAN VALUE IT MORE, SO YES, I WISH TO BECOME BETTER SO I CAN HAVE THE BUSINESS I WANT!! LETS KEEP THIS UP!! MY BEST
  • christinaglazar
Yes, this business is hard - but when you start getting into the "groove" of the whole journey and learn and grow - it becomes fun too!!
  • PaulineP
If it easy everyone would do it.
  • pech
Good to remember when you get no. Keeps you going.
  • Agneta Rebo
Working on getting better every day. Thanks for the view.
  • Daniel Glez.Peña
Hola Eric I was checkin my coments and i think i forget this one.

Evrey thing that it´s easy it doesn´t count.

    Saludos Daniel y Natali Querétaro,México.
  • mspaulamc
In a word .. INCREDIBLE - both the message and the view :) Wowsers!!!
  • kristibateman
Beautiful. I wish for me to get better at what I do.
    Thanks Eric
  • GabyRoa
Very, very important point fear ... for me the most uuuuuuurrggggggg!!! talk in a big audience, let's go and face it ... I'm try this mont in a ABB, PBR is fine I love it, but ABB .. let´s see... thanks to put us in a fire .... love and blessings!!!
  • GabyRoa
WOOW!!! thanks to share this .. I keep ... it is easy ... has to be a challenge, and that's the greatness of this job!!! enjoy it, but don´t make it easy... best regards!!!!
  • CarlosVera
Don’t wish it were easier, instead work hard and focus yourself to become better...........Loved the message, too bad lots of people have the "lottery mentality" you mentioned so many times...........
  • aliceclifford
Hi Eric #236 You are so right I do wish to get better this is just one of the hardest things i have done. That is why i watch all your videos and take what you say to heart. Thanks A.C.
  • Wow, what an amazing view and message. The very reason Network Marketing is such a unique industry is because it's not easy and "only the strong survive". If you want "get rich quick", then look elsewhere. This isn't it. Network Marketing is the ONLY industry where results are equal to effort; little effort = little results, huge effort = huge results and that's why we love it!
  • Vange01
WOW the reef is beautiful!!! Thanks Eric for this little reminders about what I have to do:
    1.Facing my fears
    2. If things were easy, I won't grow and become a better me (developing skills, leadership, etc)
  • The landscape is just amazing. Breathtaking. I'm sure the reef took sometime to develop itself into this astounishing beauty.

    NOTES:

The bigger the problem I can solve, the bigger the paycheck. This is hard.
Don't wait for it to be easier, ask for me to get better.

My willingness to work the challenges will differenciate me. The willingness to develop my skills.
  • It gets easier to recruit better people as I get better as an up line/leader.
It is a stone cold fact that to achieve success, it will take time and it is not designed to be easy! Each day proves to me that this is a complex business, that may appear at first blush to be easy, but in reality is more complex than most other careers, as it is all on you to be the very best you can be if you are to achieve true happiness and financial reward. Making good soup requires time at the stove and infinite adjustments. The days are never long enough to do all that is required, they are always challenging and require that we keep growing our personal ability to be problem solvers, dream weavers, story tellers, leaders, coaches, recruiters, and mentors.
This is a full time job that requires that each of us find the time to develop our own skills, attend a peer meeting, read a book on some aspect of business and personal development etc. This is a 7/24/365 business. Sustainable success will never be easy; it will be rewarding, but never easy.
  • Totally agree Bill. It just happens overnight, doesn't it? Becoming a better person and then attracting better people.
  • Simon_and_Lia_NL
it is a simple but not an easy job. but it is a job, not a hobby. Is traditional labour easy?
'Wish for more skills' said mr Jim Rohn,
to get those skills, we need commitment and a big WHY
  • veronikakari
Easy - perhpaps there everyone would be doing it
  • rosslopez
I agree with you Eric, if we get better, if we develop our skills, if we get more abilities on what we do, we will be able to feel the success.
For me, MLM business is a big challenge and every day I feel with more energy and courage to get better, learn many things from it because I'm pretty sure when you make a lot of efforts, getting to the top will make you feel great and will be worth all we lived in the course.

    Hugs from Mexico
    Rossana =o)
  • emmettb
Nothing worth is having is easy :)
  • lynn hall
Nothing is easy, you will find it hard but never give up.
  • Mark from Germany
Interesting. There are different views on this. Some swear on going with the flow. Some tell of the opposite. One sentence struck me and stayed with me yet: it is from Monserat: "If it were easy, then what's the achievement worth ?"
  • krisic
Oh that reef is beautiful! Brought tears to my eyes. The advantage lies within ME! Simple would not be worth it in the end. I am up for the challenge!
  • Thank you Eric for this wonderful message,
  • nikigombis
Success is the best healer. Let's do it for mental wellbeing.
  • nikigombis
How true. I don't respond without first knowing the person.
  • nikigombis
I will try to practice it in fewer words. I have a great story. Worth repeating.
  • nikigombis
It comes down to how much do I want to go to the Great Barrier Reef!
  • gjt
developing your skills will help in making it easier
  • Jeroen Lingier
    Hi Eric,

QOTD: I know some people who have a really easy job and they don't have to work many hours. Literally everybode can do it. Now guess what: they don't make much money!! you have to bring value to the marketplace! (thank you Jim Rohn)
  • Awesome footage.... wow!!
Great message too Eric. I never thought about it like that. If it was easy, there would be no reward, or a very small reward. So, we WANT it to be hard. I love that!
    Thanks Eric.
  • Steve_Nelson
This was the best episode of all so far, as far as short ones go atleast. There is so much truth to this it is something we must all think of when we're frustrated.
  • alltheverybest
Really good message - up there with my faves. Thanks
  • annenz
Thanks Eric, true words, fabulous reef filming.
  • tyroneholmes
What ever I have that is worth anything to me,I had to weather the storm to get.Why did I think Network Marketing would be any different?
  • steve_weaver1
I feel a little of the spirit of Jim Rohn here. Eric, the day you recommeded Mr. Rohns' "The Challenge To Succeed" I ordered it, and it is worth it. My little 11 yr. old girl falls asleep with him in her ear almost every night and her understanding and appreciation of life continue to grow and grow.
  • DianaValdez
Jim Rohn said "don't ask things to be easier, ask for more skills..." In the end is overcoming the challenges what makes us grow so what we need is more skills in order to overcome them.
  • coltsco
Well said!!! Thanks for the spectacular view!
  • Lorraine
Thanks for sharing the fabulous view. This is great motivation for me. But you're right, easy and simple is not the path.
  • CINDYSU
I am up for the challenge to do what's hard while most people choose the easier path. Thanks! Spectacuclar view!
  • rmonte
Its hard, but it is doable. To live like very few people can we must do what very few people are willing to do.
Thanks Eric! You have made me happy that there is a price to be paid, we just have to be willing to pay it.

    Rick M
  • Irina
Sometimes it is hard, sometimes it is easy...
But definitely, with major blasts and 2 a day it will get easier!
  • Great reminder of the great rewards we get for keeping on and finding solutions to the issues at hand. What a great industry we have!
  • kamalharris
So many times I've said "when does this thing just take off? When is it our turn to hit momentum phase where the numbers just go crazy?". Yes, i've asked for "easiness" several times when building and working with the group but I love the way you worded that. "If it was easy, you'd make no money and the check would be small". That was pretty much all I needed to hear. I'm definitely in this for several reasons and "small checks" is certainly not one of them. Also, I love those pictures of the Barrier Reef.
  • barryburgin77
Jim Rohn couldn't have said it better!!! ooops! I guess he did, didn't he. You know what, I am glad you reminded me. Eric, I don't get this kind of training with my organization. And I don't know why. I have plenty of great leaders to look to for advice. So thanks for what yopu do!
  • Shovers
Great perspective! Makes you want it to be harder so that it is worth more.
  • Ahhhhh i have been away for a few weeks so catching up now..and watching videos from recent on back ..
that scenery is simply stunning...takes my breath away! You are building your vision (and your brand I may add) by telling your story and giving us provocative lessons ...thank-you!
So is it Jim Rohn who said...be prepared to do what are others aren't willing to do and this will make you stand out. Thank-you...
  • Luis (Pelon)
if you want great income you need tyo make great effort.
  • kgadol
Yes ... I want to get better! I like that twist to the thought process.
  • germarl
    It's all about personal development
  • AviPeer
If it was easy every one can make it and you can no make money. It is true in every business.
  • jbledsoejr
Ageed! The BIGGER the problem solved...the BIGGER the paycheck. Now before solving BIG problems we have to learn how to solve small problems...solve many small problems, then you are capable of solving bigger and BIGGER problems. Make small $, then begin to make bigger & BIGGER $.
  • agelfederico
Totally agree, another great quote from Mr. Rohn.

However, doesnt this let us know that it is kind of a contradiction of what we are showed or teached to offer our prospects?
  • susanclark
#236 - Easy is Not the Answer - I agree that being easy is not the answer. I agree when a business is easy you are not going to make the big money. I want to make the big money, so I am up for the challenge. Eric, thanks for the reminder about this fact.
  • jay VanNostrand
"Don't wish it were easier..wish you were better" ...more great wisdom from Mr. Rohn!...we always seem to be on the same page Eric...I appreciate you! great views btw!
  • Hi Eric, I think this complements very good your video about sailing and no matter the direction of the wind, you are the only responsible for keep going forward.

Thanks for being our captain in the water, in the air and of course in mentoring our network marketing carrers!
  • janetrajala
Because it hasn't been ease, I've been forced to do things that fear would have held me back from before. It has also pushed me to become more creative in attracking people to the opportunity. Great growth opportunity!
  • martinvf
    Wow!!! That's absolutley true.
    I'm speechless.
It's been really hard for me to be in MLM, but I think it's worth the money, it's worth the lifestyle, it's worth the personal development growth, it's worth the people I help, it's worth the better person I become every day.

    Saludos from Mexico City
  • quincy
I agree, easier isnt better. Its when WE become better that our business gets easier. Everything in this industry soley depends on US.
  • SJ Doug
    So true Eric!
  • bartar20
Agreed, I find it very frustrating at times, but I go back to basics and look at the long term not the short term and have confidence in my ability to grow my business. If it was easy everyone would do it right?
  • Simple, yes -- but like you said, not easy. My persoanl development is tied directly to my ability to make money -- sometimes it is frustrating, however I agree 100% - We have a great opportunity to become a better people along the way. Personal growth with a compensation plan attached. I love this business more and more with each new day!
  • Bernadette
The journey has not been easy but it has been rewarding, especially the personal growth.
  • Pete
This economy has made it anything but easy. Keep developing, never quit !!! It will get easier, but only because you're getting better. Important to understand the difference.
  • jerryscribner
    Great advice
  • shawncyr
Great! It reminds me of the idea of eating an elephant. The only way to do it is one mouthful at a time. Each day that we develop our skills is one step closer to becoming great and having great things.
  • I like a Challenge and having Challenges in my business causes me to wake up in the morning and look forward to working my Business and meeting newer people worldwide.
  • Dee_Canada
Thank you for sharing that amazing view with us Eric! Of course I know that you are right in your message. If it were easy...everyone would do it. I'm searching myself to find how I can unlock the ability to help others see the vision that I have. I will NOT give up until I find the key to being a better ME...so that I can open the eyes of others who need to see what we have to offer. It is the biggest challenge that I have ever faced. In truth, it requires more work than I have ever had to put in to anything. I have felt more frustration with myself in this than I have ever felt before...because I "get it"...I know this is what I want and was meant to do...and my natural abilities which have always seen me through before, aren't enough here. I have heard you and others say that this professional will uncover all your faults and all your insecurities and challenge you to do more. That is the absolute truth. I see myself in teh cold light of day and must do more....get better...apply the lessons. it's a scary proposition, but worse yet, is the thought of giving up. I've been bitten and there is no cure but to succeed!
  • Jessi
Thanks for taking us with you on your journeys! And for the wise words.
  • gloriavintila
Great view of the Great Barrier Reef! However, it is easy to be distracted, it is easy to think it's too difficult, it is easy to give up. I was close to giving up several time. But I have learned that if it's easy, than anyone can do it. So where's the competitive advantage?
  • randyhendrickson
The only part I would want easy is learning the skills and using the tools.
  • peterburrows
Let's face it, easy would be great.....or would it.
Think back to the greatest things you have ever done.....you probably have fondest memories of the ones that you really put your back into.....and the easy ones don't even register.
So! Easy ain't the answer, especially as it will not motivate you, it will not satisfy you and for sure it will not stick in the memory banks. So.....
    Get stuck in......!
  • Darnell
You're making very honest and valid points of the trueness to making big cashflow income. Nothing we have in life comes without a price or the constant desire and willingness and drive to continue to improve on oneself to get to the greater rewards financially. Just not that simple but still can be done and that's a good thing!! I hope everyone watching values this greatly to make the changes to succeed in NM and may God bless you all. Thanks so much Eric for sharing this thought and incredible viewing of the reef. I felt touched by its beauty and wonderment. Awe-inspiring indeed....Looking 4ward to the next video!!
  • wouterdeprez
This is surely true, but of course it's very tempting to think 'if it only were easier':)
But it's a good and important point to work on!
  • Pepeneto
If it were easy, anyone could doit...so companies pay minimum wage..
  • beckydesabah
Life has a contradictory essence. . we all know that things take time (specially the good ones) and lots of work, even so we want it easy and fast.
  • carolmcwilliams
What a great perspective to change my thinking. Don't wish for it to be easier, wish for myself to get better.
Wow, as I have often wondered why the heck is it so hard to find people that want to build a business. So on those frustrating days when I feel I am not contributing in ways that feels I'm making a difference, I will tell myself just get better at conveying my message.
Thanks for keeping me on track with the right thinking.
  • seija
The bigger the problem, the bigger the reward!
  • dterrell
    Thanks Eric great topic.
  • brianhepner
    Anything great is never........ Easy

Through hard work it will get easy but that is when the next thing comes to be important. That is how some keep the spark in their eyes.
  • cherisizzles
The bigger the problem I can solve the bigger the reward and the more money i make. Hmmm....yes, I like this. I do love a challenge. This IS hard, but you are so right about it only being worth it if it's hard! If it were easy then everyone would be doing it! "The challenge is what makes it great!!" I love it.
  • What a wonderful world we live in. All creatures must struggle to make it so and we are no exception. I want an interesting life and, even though leaving my comfort zone causes me anxiety, it is better than the saddness caused by not doing anything worthwhile. Thank you for encouraging us by taking us with you on your trips.
  • Brilliant Eric....love the reef shots ! Great message....don't wish for it to be easier~wish for you to get better~thats your advantage....good stuff !!
  • Thanks Eric, you always seem to know what to say on the right day. How do you do that?
  • margarethockaday
If it was so easy, then everyone would do it. The harder the problem to solve the harder you will work at it.
  • I knew it would not be easy but I like challenging myself.

Thank you Eric for the great view from the helicopter.
  • Miguel Cortez
Leadership take place when it hard... :)
  • Your´re right. Don´t wish it were easier, wish you were better. Like Winston Churchill said: Never, Never, Never quit. Best regards from your bigget fan.
  • Someone once told me "that if it was easy- everyone would be in it". This is probably one of the hardest business concepts but IT WILL BE WORTH IT. Also likes Jim Rohn's quote. Great shots of the reef - Another line for "the bucket list!"
  • Great message Eric! It isn't easy, but it is worth it!
  • mbryant
Love the Great Barrier Reef shots, Eric! Great dream building. Also an excellent message...
  • Ellis3
Eric once again on point ... some Jim Rohn stuff there "Don't wish to be easy, wish you were better"! ... I am working on getting better everyday :) thanks again!
  • Dave S
As my mentor and brother likes to say, "if it were easy, teenagers would be doing it"
  • Yes, I have to become better and I am working on doing just that.

Thanks for your inspiring messages Eric. Neat view fro the helicopter.
  • Eric, Wow what a view! Great lesson today. I'm sure most of us know its hard work because we do it. But how many of us let the prospects know that up front? I failed to do this at first and over time lost a lot of people that way. How many times do we hear, I work hard enough all day and I don't want to work hard at night too. Most people just don't get it. I believe your correct, that's a good thing. Glad to have shook your hand Saturday night. Being there was a memory I will treasure forever. The ending was so very special and I must admit that it gave me a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes. Please carry on the message of Mr. Jim Rohn all of us need too.
  • Eric, I want to thank you for bringing out the dreams in us, by giving us visual of what is possible. I've always known that network marketing was not easy and have focused on getting better at what I do, and now it is getting easier than ever. I certainly wouldn't want this industry to be easy. Just like going to college, except without all of the debt.
  • tambry
Great point Eric. When you think of the JOB world there are alot of things that I think are much more difficult. I remember many IT courses where your lucky if can even comprehend 1/2 of what the instructor is teaching you. At least in network marketing everything is easy to understand. We just need to be exceptional communicators.
  • So great to hear that easy is NOT the way! If it were easy, everyone would be doing it :)
  • racingworm
If it was easy everyone would be doing it. It's funny how someone will work hard at a JOB, but not be willing to work at becoming free from having to have a job.
  • Arnold Thompson
Nothing worth having in life is easy, we need to work at it and work at ourselves.
  • It isn't easy, just like many things. Driving a car was not easy in the beginning. Riding a bicycle was not easy. Even taking those first few steps as babies were not easy. But we did not give up and we just got better at it and now we can drive, ride bicycles and walk and ............... become a network marketing pro.
  • Personal development and network marketing go hand in hand. The more I grow personally, the more my business grows.
  • karivankleef
You're right it isn't easy. I have never found change to be easy but it sure is great when you accomplish it.
  • garyparmenter
If it were easy? Everybody would be doing it. Reminds me of "easy come easy go". Easy accomplishments usually don't hold value. At least not over the long run. Through persistance and personal growth most anything is possible.

  • Great way to look at it. The advantages.

This message could also be applied to value found in rewards. I reward myself when I achieve certain levels. It is so tempting to think, "Oh, I'm going to make it to that level, so I'm going to go ahead and claim my reward early." Taking the reward before actually EARNING it is taking the EASY WAY OUT and the reward will not have nearly as much significance, nearly as much impact than if you wait and claim the reward when you actually EARNED it. Taking the easy way out of anything minimizes it's value and in the end makes the reward less valuable.
  • clairecameron
Great message... the business is what it is with all its myriad of challenges. But if I can get better at it then it will seem easier even though it hasn't changed at all. "Each day, in every way, I am getting better and better and better." Emile Coue.
  • dlinkhart
You're right, it isn't easy. The hard part is developing the skills. But it's a work in progress and I'm up to the challenge! I'm getting better and better every day!!
  • Well, I believe you are right...to a certain degree. Developing myself to become better is the challenge and the opportunity. I'd still like it to be easier....but I get your point!
  • JudasPierce
i love the fact that this business teaches you skills. skills that you can keep for the rest of your life. no matter where you go.
  • onemartymac
Hard work and preparation make it easier.
  • HoracioMejia
It is not easy at all. Being "crazy" is what becomes hard, since we care about everybody else's opinion, and we tend to have a need to be accepted. Easy comes only when we overcome difficulty. If it were easy, everybody would do it.
  • raybeattie
Do I hear a little Jim Rohn in that statement? Become better yourself and help others become better, that will grow our businesses.
  • If nothing else stuck with me from attending the event before I joined this industry, the saying "this business is simple, but it's not easy" would be it.
Nice reminder of Jim Rohn's tip on getting better :-)
  • Ria Leermakers
I really like it when you quote mr. Rohn.
  • Hmm - the MMI has changed and the site is loading very slowly tonight - not sure what's going on there.

Anyway, great video and a great point Eric. Once more your honesty is much appreciated.

Companies would have us believe that it's easy to lead with the product and retire rich by tuesday but in reality there are many barriers to the achievement of a sustainable and rewarding MLM business that must be overcome - there's always a price to pay and the bigger the rewards, the bigger the price - think of Olympic gold.

Great philosophy to focus on self-development and skill development - both of which will bring their own significant rewards.

I'm not looking for easy myself - I thrive on solving the problems and enjoy the journey. My problem is seeing too many opportunities and failing to properly focus on one whilst ignoring some of the others.

My satisfaction of this business i can not describe. The beauty and magic in this is the challenge and persistent and the burning desire insid me! blood, sweat and tears...

a good statement: if it was easy, there wouldn't be big money in it...
so i keep on working to become a networkmarketing professional
  • quintaser
    Easy come, easy go.

Almost all the times when we see a succesful person, we normaly think, that what ever he or she does, it´s natural and easy to that person. The truth is that to reach that point, 99 out of 100 has had to sweat blood. So if we want to reach the sky, we must to work on building our own rocket.

From Puebla Mexico, I am Sergio Quintana, MLM Pro.

Our profession is challenging for a reason. If it were easy there would be no Money! We need to work on improving ourselves so that we can become better by developing skills and utilizing that to our advantage. Our profession comes with problems that we have to solve and the better we become at solving these problems and overcoming challenges the bigger our paychecks will get!
  • bartonmurray
if it were easy everyone would be doing this....thanks

Thank you Eric. I get it.
  • By facing and handling challenges you will grow as a person - and your business will grow with you
  • jean_albert
Big problems/challenges = Big paychecks.... makes sense
  • TAbrams
I 100% agree. This business is not an easy business, nor should we want or wish it to be. However, it is a simple business - and simple can be replicated and duplicated. As with any business or profession, you will get out of it what you put in.

Work on yourself, build you skill sets, learn, and teach others. In our profession nothing is handed to you on a silver spoon, however you can take as much as you like. Some take a little and some truly "FEAST". It is up to you.

Most people don't become wealthy because it is inconvenient. You make the choice!!!
  • latachia_2
Last night I watched a TV documentry on Dateline about Storm Chasers. Wow! Talk about CHALLENGES. At least we are not risking our life every time we go to work&are not having to figure out all of the things they do about the weather& such in order to do it. They were in a storm with hail the size of baseball! We have it made!
  • Jose Lopez
All the roads lead to Rome ... all the success-in-MLM roads lead to personal development. No coincidence that all success-in-any-area-of-life road also lead to personal development.
  • It always comes down to what will I to move my business forward. The better I am at developing the necessary skills, the better my business will be. There is no free lunch. If you want to get paid, then you need to go to work. You can wait years for someone else to do it for you (and it will never happen). Or you can develop your skills to make it happen! Thanks Eric!
  • I have never taken the easy path and am confident that with NM it will pay off.

I'm also finding that the habit of watching NMP daily is hard to break on the weekends so I'm enjoying catching up on the past episodes I missed and looking forward to watching them over and over.
  • highimpact0406
What a view from the helicopter and also from your perspective about not being easy. This is not an easy profession and I am reminded of that every day. Thanks for todays reminder....
  • Good reminder, most (good/great) professionals have worked hard to get/be were there are. So, it won't be easy, but it will be worth it.
  • Develop better skills, and it will be easier....?! No just kidding, I get it and thanks!
  • theuns
    Thanks Eric

Great point! I often forget that the destination has many ways to get there-- some have better solutions than others. I need to work from the objective of How can I become better and solve bigger problems.

Second thought is Network Marketing CONCEPT IS simple and easy to understand YET getting from point "A" (where you are currently) to point "B" (the big monthly residual money) is the HARD and CHALLENGING Part! There are so many little factors and little things that make it all work out. For Example: what to say and how to say it; becoming a better person that can solve more and larger problems, mainly like "how to get a large group of people to do a few simple things over a long period of time". That can be a really big problem to solve, that is not easy or simple, due to the fact that the large group of people have their many different ideas, challenges, and come from many different back grounds as there are people in the group.

Thank you for the new angle to look at it from.

So true ... difficult until you do it enough times that
the mental barriers are not there anymore and it becomes unconscious competence.

You Eric stroke a chord today. There are lots of excellent comments that
    add valued to the show.

Good (Barrier) Grief!....I want a chopper and a swimming pool like that too...!!! ;-)
  • I've been gone, so I'm SURE you've missed my devil's advocate thing.... Ok. I get it- it's not easy, and that's obvious. But isn't THE POIINT of it that we can all do it together, simply and easily? I'm saying that THE LURE is that we can ALL eventually become "successful", isn't it? Otherewwise, aren't we kinda lying when we recruit someone?
  • Nice to see your smiling face BR.
  • Always bringing the best videos Eric!! I appreciate you!!

    A valuable message. Beautiful video.
  • talya_mitzafon
I realy do believe that all the partners in this project do not wish this businees to be EASY. The reason why we are here is to become professionals who built big businesses and teach others to do the same.
  • bryantkeefe
I see this all the time with salespeople. Those willing to do the hard work will earn $200,000 or more a year. Those that look for the easy way will earn $50,000 a year. I always want a few "whales" on my prospecting lists. Look at Doctors...GP's or Internists make $85K to $125K and the sought after specialists start at $250K and go higher. Great views today. Thanks Eric!
  • Luis Gringras

Thank you for reminding me this fundamental idea of our business. New people often say that this is difficult but we have to explain them how it is. If there is no challences it would not be worth the effort.

Your message today works for most businesses doesn't it?
  • mrmauriocrawford
One of my favorite things about NMPRO, is that I get the opportunity to learn about so many different locations around the world. I didn't even know anything aobut the "Heart Reef"(i believe that's what Eric called it). It's opened my mind up to the places that this "thing" is really able to allow me to do.

Thanks for stretching my vision continually Eric. Keep on keeping on.
  • amberaimshigh
Great reminder! Its true if it was easy it would take away from the success!
  • gmeyerson
it is definitely hard work and the most challenging thing I have done to date, but it is simple, just follow the system and train others to do the same, duh
  • Bjorgli
I do'nt expect it to be easy, but I do really wonder why do'nt people understand how logic, how easy and how smart this is. If a lot of people do a little over a long period of time.
I do'nt think I'm much smarter than others, but perhaps-----------------?

Good Message. I understand today a new concept. If a i want to earn a lot of money here, we really have to work hard.

    Thanks,

  • Great message Eric. If it's easy then there won't be much value to be gained from it.
I tend to think of things in this way....
The process and opportunity in network marketing is Simple, but not Easy.
If it was easy, then everyone would be doing it.
There are so many simple things in the world that most people think are hard to do but will create a greatness within themselves and others around them that they can not even imagine. Greater than themselves!
    Thanks again.
    Make it a great day!

So many nuggets in just a few minutes. Thanks Eric for shedding light from a different angle. Easy and major bucks NEVER go together.
  • hillin
Super Bowl of last night is a good example of what Network Marketing is. Some would have abandoned at the beginning knowing that the gap was high, others would have taken the easy, conservative approach of the game to take small points and hope that good fortune will come, but they didn't, they fought back; believed in their vision, held to their system and took the super trophy with them home.
  • brigittapatel

... We all know when we put the effort in, we get results.

The Bad News is - for so long in the NM Industry, a lot of distributors have told their prospects that it's easy to make money and grow your business with not much effort.

The Good News is - it's NOT true - and with help of upstanding - straight shooters like Eric and the guest speakers he has on his show NM PRO we are finally being told the truth.
    Remember what we've heard
~ have fun but get the job done ... Lighten up and the money will brighten up
  • Sound message often forgotten
  • I agree 100 percent. I love the challenge of this industry. It would definitely lose its lackluster in my opinion. Some people want a winning lottery ticket. But to truly become successful from hard work and from an acquired skill... is so much more rewarding. My mother worked so hard in her traditional businesses, and when she came to America, she couldn't speak English. That influences me to want to work hard and achieve great things.
  • Great show again. Never actually thought of "wanting what you really don't want" before but it is all so clear. Its a bit like telling people "Your lucky" when a person has achieved great success by hard work and skill development. If you reach for the stars expect to give, do and share that much more.
  • Great point Judith. I used to tell people who have worked hard to achieve something in their life that they were lucky. Even if I did not say it directly to them, I would think it in my head. This was a mind shift thing for me to move forward and grow in my life. Thanks for the tip.
    Make it a great day!
    God Bless,

  • Ngoc Tran
I will only wish for me were better and will not look for things easier. Thanks for great message, Eric!
  • Sure, skills matter. And reminding people that it is netWORK marketing is a good idea. But I also believe that effective use of technology tools can make working the business easier. One example is if builder A's approach lets him/her talk with 2 QUALIFIED prospects per week, and builder B's approach lets him/her talk with 10 QUALIFIED prospects per week, then everything else being close to equal, builder B will experience more success.

"It is better to Believe than to Disbelieve. In so doing you bring

My advantage, my skills, my abilities to prosper in this industry.
  • MarvinTowler
The message is simple... It ain't EASY. Just because something is simple, like this business does not mean its easy. Thanks for the great reminder Eric!
  • I think we all know inside that the big rewards are there for those willing to do the hard things. Things come easy for certain people: Those that are willing to work really hard at something for which others are not willing to work as hard. If we are up front about this to our prospects we will attract the right kind of people.
  • Episode 27 of Eric Worre's 100 Episode Throw Down Challenge:

Love the scenery Eric. Definitely a place on my bucket list. You have taken the mantle over from Mr. Rohn.. I can see his words as you speak them.. "Don't wish it were easier.. Wish you were better. Don't wish for for less problems wish for more solutions." I'm also reminded of Tom Hanks in the movie "A league of Their Own" when talking to his star player when she complained that it was just too hard. He basically said: That what made it great, The difficulty of it is what made it special. It weren't that way anyone could do it, and then what would be the point of it.
  • Great message and great scenery. I was planning on using the quote that kgoren put up until I scrolled down and saw that she had it here. So my message would be to follow Jim Rohn's advice of making yourself better. Check three posts down for quote.
  • feltricks
This is all about facing challenges, if you are not willing to face challenges, if you are not willing to work harder on yourself to become better, if you are not willing to get out of your comfort zone, so it's better that you keep doing all of the things that you have done until now.
This is for people willing to work, to face challenges, to change their lives.
    Powerful message.
    I'm aboard this boat.
    Are you?
  • carybennett
Nice footage, thanks been alot of places but not there. This is something well all need to hear sometimes i think. Thanks so much eric.
  • people looking for easy are simply not willing to put forth the time, energy, and effort required to become world class
  • kgoren
"Don't wish it were easier, wish you were better" - another great philosophy. We are always wishing for things to be different or for things to change. But by working harder on ourselves and our business, it will lead us to the lives we choose to live.
  • Anything worthwhile in life involves hard work.
  • Great video, Eric! My husband and I were just talking about something similar this morning. For years, we've heard that this is a business for ordinary people. Then, I've also heard that this is a business for entrepreneurs.

I think that the point of entry allows for ordinary people to start, but then they become ordinary people who decide to do extraordinary things, which are not easy.

I, as I'm sure many of us, see so much on the web about "We'll build it for you... it's easy, etc." That kind of marketing attracts those who want it easy, but like anything in life, if it were easy, everybody would be wealthy.
  • travelprohawaii
Wow! I never thought about why it is a challenge being in the business. I always looked at those who made it and thought that it was easy. Its like seeing those athletes doing those unimaginable stunts but forgetting the hours and hours of practice they put in to get to that point! I know now that this is the journey I have chosen to take, it will be challenging as well as fun and adventuresome and in the end very rewarding!

HMMmmm Easy and Quick..two words that seems to be most injurious to ourselves and our next generation. My hope is by becoming a NWM PRo, I will break this chain for my next generation.

    Thank you Eric for sharing.
  • Looked at from another angle, things that seem 'difficult' actually CAN become 'easy' if we consistently improve on our skills and use business strategies and tactics that are EFFECTIVE. If we don't do these things, this can be an extremely difficult and frustrating business to succeed in ...

    Best to you,
    Scott
  • smreed
Isn't it ironic that we want things to be easily attained....but the things that come easily we unfortunately take for granted. As humans we are most proud of the things that we had to work towards, that took effort in attaining. That it took something in us. Yes, becoming better is always better because you know you are growing.
  • julie67
We should get better in all aspects of our lives. Don't settle for average! Good show Eric.

Facing fears .. thanK you Eric on showing how to "sink in" and face them.
  • Can't wait until you do a show from space! Excellent message but even better presentation. You go the extra mile Eric.
  • If it's easily achived how can it feel good to achive it?
  • Og Mandino wrote in Scroll I "Good habits are the key to all success. Bad habits are the unlocked door to failure." The work required to create a good habit, to have it 'be easy' is a lifelong project. The current set of habits, many of which have long past served any useful purpose... except to have 'it' be easy… require an inventory of sorts to identify… or identify the ones you need to implement and begin the process to acquire them. This business is simple, the tasks and skills required to become an expert are not complicated, and it ain't easy...
  • drmikempa
One of the hardest thing to do is break someone's view of "what does the average person do?"
I hear this question all the time, and my answer is always, "I hope you are not average, because i am NOT looking for average people."
This shocks people, but the message is clear, don't do this if you are average; don't do this if you are looking to do the minimum; don't do this unless you are willing to work hard to acheive success.
  • Awesome message. Thanks
  • denisekay

the late great Jim Rohn. Dont wish for less problems, wish for more skills. In life we have to do the things that people dont want to in order to get the things that other people won't have. Anything that requires time, energy and a learning curve has a higher payout. Most people want the easy road in life thats why they have a check that reflects it. Step out and do something differennt to get different results
  • Thanks for thee words.
  • gillym1
Yes there is so much truth in what you say - it's about time people became honest about this business - it's not easy - but if you develop your skills - it IS worth it!

Thanks again Eric - enjoy your trip!
  • Tina Perdue
To me, that is one of the most important things to understand. We have to see this as a profession...in no profession do the bucks come easy.
  • Carlos Perez
We like things to be easy, but the good things comes with hard work only.
  • conniegleave
Don't be looking for it to get easier - get better at what I'm doing! I never really thought about it in terms of...it's the challenge that makes it profitable. GREAT thought for the day...I'll be taking THAT one with me all week.

It becomes easy only when I did it over and over and over again
  • turjcxg
Eric, you are so right. There have been too many days when I "pout" inside about how I have "work so hard" in my business. I didn't really realize it until this show. It's just wasted mental energy riding on a stationary mental bicycle by thinking like that.

Thank you for pointing out the obvious AGAIN because I'm one of those that appreciates it!

Perfect message for me today! It's not easy but it will be rewarding when you get better at it! Thank you, Eric! I love the " personal growth" about the business and the $$ rewards will come. I wish for each NMPro to get BETTER for him/herself otherwise we don't GROW if it was so easy!
I had an email that showed "growth" from a young man in the biz that makes me so thrilled! He is leading his own way to use all the resources around him to grow independently... There is a saying... GROWTH is revealed through change!!!!! You're the best!!!
  • fc34615
Enjoyed this show quite a bit as it allowed me to tackle the dilemma that sometimes gets into our heads when we become doubtful about what we do when we realize that it is not easy. The energy that keeps me moving forward is to follow people like Eric, and many other successful Pros who achieved the top by working hard inspite of the many challenges that our job brings.
    Thanks Eric,
    Fernando.
  • chriskemp817
Eric, fantastic message. I totally agree with you. If it was easy everybody would be doing it and we wouldn't be making as much money. The beauty of our business though is anybody can become successful if they're willing to do whatever it takes!
  • carolbarrett
In the words of the great Jim Rohn "Don't wish it were easier, wish you were better"
  • Great shots of the reef! Thank you.
OK, it's challenging. Ok. it's not easy. OK. more challenge, more opportunity, more compensation.
    Bring it on!
I'm so conditioned to asking what does it take, desciding if the reward/outcome is worth the effort and, if so, dedicating the energy and resources to meet the challenge.
So, why so many lures out there that MLM is simple, but not easy- are those a code words?
I don't want to build an organization that mimics J.O.B. (work hard enough to not get fired/ get paid enough so they don't leave). I don't want false expectations, nor do I want to promote them.
Understand the Comp Plan. Listen and do what the System teaches. Repeat, Repeat, Repeat.
I appreciate your realistic messages. It narrows the gap between expectations and reality.
  • hpena
Great video. I caught the Jim Rohn quote, "Don't wish for it be easier, wish for you to be better." When I finally started to get that philosophy, everything started to change.

  • Jillian
    The view was stunning!

I do believe the message one first receives is "it's simple but not easy - anyone can do this" and people tend to block out the "its not easy" part. You hear the money part instead loud and clear, and the lottery mentality kicks in because of the hype and the relatively short time that some people take to make a lot of money. It doesn't always translate into a short time though to gain the skills ...or the money for that matter.
I think that is why there is such a huge dropout rate in NWM and I certainly like the more realistic approach. If things are easy, then everyone is doing it and you remain mediocre - Its about putting the "extra" into "ordinary" in order to achieve success at anything. It all takes work and persistence, it certainly is not easy.
  • ybimbalanced
Don't ask for it to be easy, ask for it to be worth it! thanks Eric!

The act of building and mastering skills by embrasing "The Diciplines" although not easy onto themselves do make what we do in NWM "Easier"....
  • Thanks for another great message Eric.

Hard work pays off. Going back to what John Milton said, the common thing with those who are earning over a million dollars in network marketing is that they worked their butts off. Learn from these individuals and do not hesitate to ask them what worked for them.

Yes I choose to do business simply. does not mean you do not have to work hard.
I do not sell lottery tickets. But I give a beautiful gift.

    That is so true, Eric.

Don't say like Homer Simpson: "If something is hard to do, it ain't worth doing".
Develop yourself, get better and reap the benefits.

I tell myself every day: "I will do today what other people will not so that tomorrow, I can do what other people cannot."

    God's speed everyone!
  • Paco_Carreno
Love this show! Eric, you'r now a more intrepid "journalist" than CNN ones! ha ha ha... You're building a culture of commitment no matter where, no matter when, and no matter what you're doing... Thank you very much... I've really learnt this lesson even before Network Marketing saved me from mediocrity. That's a lesson I brought already learned. In fact, it's one of my favourites. The bigger the challenge you face and overcome... the bigger the check! Oh yes!
  • jeffreyhall
Question is how do you define easy vs difficult. Easy for one person could be impossible for others and visa versa. I do believe we are all listening to this to become better! That is my wish for everyone.
  • Foord Yates
Its not hard. Its not easy. But it is simple, step-by-step, follow the game plan. Use the tools. Use the meetings. Use your sponsor and upline.

Use the resources around you until you can lead a group yourself. Then when you're the leader, train them to use the game plan... and you'll find yourself heading up the ranks.

And it helps if you're with a Good Company with a Good Pay Plan and a Strong Field Leaders.

    Foord Yates.

Thanks, I needed that. Nothing worth having comes easy. The concept is simple the work is hard. We must keep working hard to receive the reward.
  • keithraines
I remember playing sports in High school and College. The teams I was on were very good and successful. We worked hard everyday in practice on the fundamentals to develop skills and then executed as a team on game day. Each of the team members were also responsible enough in the "off season" to develop our skills even more. So, being personally responsible to develop yourself individually will assist you in leading and being a part of a team of personally responsible team members which will lead to better success for all involved.
  • That is the real challenge, for us a grow as a person and a network marketing professional. And with all the great material here the game plan is already mapped out. It's just a matter of doing it.
  • This is a hard business. But it is sold as an easy business. Its kinda both. Easy to get in easy to make some money. But hard to make it big. Thats the challenge.
  • nickgarrison
Personal development is one of the greatest benefits of becoming involved in Network Marketing
  • clickjt
It's true. In any endeavor, the people who can only do the easy stuff are easily replaced and don't make much money. It is only the true pros who have put in the time and effort and training and who can do the difficult things who make the big bucks--and network marketing is the only system where everyone is encouraged to make this transition.
Still, in my experience, network marketing is usually marketed as an easy way to make money. That is the lure to get people in, and the reason so many quit.
  • drpricedc
Great Video today.....really enjoyed the view
  • If is easy, everyone will do it. :-)
I always believe nothing comes easy, but it can be very simple.
  • karenandian
Thank you Eric for the wonderful view! Easy is not the answer, however, the more you practice it, the easier it is to continue on. You have to be committed to develop yourself and encourage your team to do the same.
  • Dont wish that it was easier, wish that you were better! First learned this from the master Jim Rohn, but loved the way you explained it. Wow I have now put the Heart Reef on my wish list.
  • Easy comes, easy goes,,,, I have heard it before, and it is true. You have to fight for your right, and the more you fight the better the result. And in MLM you fight to get your leaders better and your people to grew, and to do that you have to grew first and bigger......
Ps. I want to go to Australia to.......and some day I will. Ds
  • It ain't easy, but experience does make it easier ;) Sticking the long haul does pay off.

Thanks for the visuals Eric ;)
  • Mark_Abrahams_UK
I really appreciate all the views offered by Eric – including the real visuals around the world (& I love the Great Barrier Reef and am looking forward to being there and experiencing it again this year).

One of the first times I saw Eric was when he mapped out the way we should think about comfort zones and the way we need to be disciplined in the uncomfortable zone.
It was all about PROGRAMMING – THOUGHTS - ATTITUDE – ACTIVITY – RESULTS – LIFESTYLE (EASY is not the answer) and, like this latest show, it was great. Rock on. Thanks again Eric.

I know I am the key to my success.

I signed up for a lead generation system that sends me 3-10 people every day who are interested in finding out about what I have going on. It costs $90 a month. It is such a different conversation than I have had in the past when they know I'm calling to talk about my business.

I have been putting my calls on speaker phone and recording my conversations for review. Boy. do I have room for improvement.

I'm getting better at interviewing and learning that when I ask questions people will sell themselves. I'm learning to edify my busy business partners and create a sense of importance around three-way phone calls. I'm listening for opportunities to interject my story with feel-felt-found. Every day I get a little better.

And if I'm not in the right frame of mind to transfer a positive attitude through the phone I watch a couple of Tony Robbins videos to get the blood flowing in the right direction.
  • Erik
It`s easy to see that Jim Rohn have been your mentor Eric :) Don`t wish it was easy, wish you where better :) Great lesson and FANTASTIC VIEW :)
  • jpmendoza
Another great lesson, I need to get better, not have things to be easier. Things that are easy to get are not as appreciated as those things that we have to work hard for.
  • Kjell Englund
It´s all clear. And I like the easy way you tell the world about it Eric, Thanks
I wish everyone how has quit NM after 3 mounth could see and understand the message in this movie.
It´s a hard work to become a NMPRO but it worth every little moment of blood, sweat and tears to reach the top.
Thank you Eric, you have make me a day again when it´s easy to learns new skills.
  • MagnusEdvald
If it was easy everyone would have done it already. I guess I should not wish for an easy task, rather wish for enough strength and wisdom to master every task that I have to deal with.
  • peterragg
Network Marketing is not easy and that is why so many people give up.

It is fundamental that you have belief in yourself, that is the core to your success. Yes you must have a burning desire and work your butt off for 3 - 5 years as Eric says but how about you, do you believe in yourself?

I am going to be very successful in this business, I believe that passionately and I am going to be successful primarily by helping other members of my team to be successful. I am going to get out of the Matrix as soon as i possibly can.

If you want it enough you will do it.

    What is your plan B?

    To your success
    Kind regards

    Hi Eric,
I got it, don't wish it was easy, wish you werer better.
Thanks for sharing your woderful experience with us.
  • hanneretvik
Thank you Eric for letting it become easier for us to become better!
  • very true...reaching big goals require a lot of effort that few will endure.
  • Hi Eric! YES, another great tip from you. Easy is not the answer because then it wouldn't be any money in it. Thanks for showing the way! / Linda, Sweden
  • Ryan
Another great clip and awesome perspective. If it were easy, then there would be no money in it. The challenge to make yourself better makes it GREAT!
  • Lisette
Yes, It´all about me and my groth.
  • jacob stiner Israel
Hi Eric That's the problem people think thet the business is easy money they have to know that business is simple but not easy
  • True enough. As the great man said, 'you get paid for the value you bring to the marketplace'. You want to make more money, make yourself more valuable. Develop yourself. It always comes down to that.
  • eugenejohnson
i use to wish for things to be easier ...now i just enjoy the process....i think we want it to be easier not because we think its too difficult but because we want fast success ....we dont want to endure the slight edge effect ...we want instant gratifacation...all we have to do is become a little better over time and as long as we stick to the process we will get to that successs we are looking for
  • Thanks Eric - I am working on it - trying to grow and improve myself!
  • I agree 100%. Personally, one of the aspects of this profession I really like is that it is a mirror. It shows me exactly what I am and where I need to improve. Whether its my attitude, presentation skills, knowledge, etc. No matter how painful the lesson, as long as I take responsiblity and acknowledge I need to change, I always grow as a professional. Thanks for the footage!
  • mariasiro
    I agree! thank's Eric
  • Another great video Eric! I agree with you 100%. It reminds me of a movie starring Tom Hanks and Geena Davis called "A league of Their Own" The movie was about a womans professional baseball league. Geena Davis' played a player and Tom Hanks was her coach. Her husband came back from the war,and she was going back home with me. Tom hanks said to her " Your just leaving like that and quitting" and she said, it was getting to hard. He said " It supposed to be hard,if it wasn't everyone will be doing it!" "Its the hard that makes it so great". Just like network marketing. Your supposed to go through some struggles! It's you going through those struggles, that makes this industry so great!
  • marvalouslife1
"Don't wish it was easier. wish you get better" - Jim Rohn.
    thank you Eric.
keep on sending us great shots of sites from all over the world.

  • keith murfet
Thanks Eric. It may not be Easy but you make it Easy-er but helping us to face our fears and grow each day by doing what others are not willing to do.

Amazing Video ~ Both What You are Saying & Showing Out the Window! A Million Thanks as always
  • bethascoli
I love today's message: "Don't wish for things to be easier, wish for you to get better" - my favorite Jim Rohn quote. And what a fitting message for this weekend as all of his friends said goodbye.

I'm glad it hasn't been easy for me...because one day soon there is going to be a HUGE payoff!!!

The view of the reef was AMAZING!! Eric, thank you so much for these little gifts you give us each day. This show means so much to me, more than you could ever know.
  • Absolutely! When we are willing to work for something, the reward will be much greater. Our teams will also tend to duplicate what we do. So when we expect more from ourselves, that in turn will have a major impact on our team as well.
  • genegrass
Yes, we must work on ourselves to become better.....then the simple becomes easier, because we are better. Thanks for sharing your travels with us!
  • genegrass, I like how you worded this "The simple becomes easier." Simple and easy are two different things.
  • rayrios
Wow, amazing. Truely Not Easy. If its easy it's sleessy. Working on getting better to earn what others will never earn, Looking forward to those new interview after your visit to Mr.Rohns memorial celebration.

    Thanks Eric.
  • frankdiaz
thanks was just felling a little down ....which does not happen very often........wish u were better...as our friend JR would say......
  • Jilliangene
Rightly said - It is simple not easy. All we do in this business make us a stronger better people. Growth and change is never easy just very necessary if we are going to have more/better move forward.
  • I saw a heart at 1:57 - very cool! Thank you again for speaking the truth. Nothing trumps hustle and hard work.
  • As the amazing Jim Rohn said "Don't wish it were easier, wish you were better"
  • juanfernandogutierrez
Work work work.. hard work!!!! nothing easy!! I want big pay checks. Getting better instead of getting easier, thats a challenge I am willing to take
  • Tarashon Broomes
if it was EASY everyone would be involved in network marketing...instead of wishing this or that to happen, just improve yourself and or develop the skills you are seeking and take control of your situation so you can yield the results you want
