  • heatherbrocklehurst
I realize my vision holds me back more than anything else.
  • Daniel W. Cook III
It really hit me when richard said "play that movie in your head". thats consistant with John milton fogg main point in the greatest networker. I need to spend some time writing out the scripts for my movie of success in this business and in life. thanks for the reminder richard.

  • Great message!
  • Simple, yet powerful! I know keeping my vision out in front of me is one of the hardest things for me to stay consistent on. Will continue to get better.
  • yitz613
Cclassic richard Brooke and a must watch for our organizations.
  • Dylan Cooper
I've really enjoyed this interview. I'm purging that fear and creating a stored success pattern!
  • "Changing the vision will change the outcome." Thanks Eric....
  • dterrell
Thank you, this was the breakthrough that I have been looking for!!!
  • AdvocareJax
If i fear it, I must do it!
  • Great interview with Richard Brooke.....had no idea who he was prior to this interview.
  • meagankellytorres
I LOVE this video. Fear is a vision. To change the outcome, change the vision. Repeat an empowering vision over and over and over again. Work with your mind to replace that paralyzing vision to an empowering vision. I love it!
  • ViktoriaGuerin
Powerful in such a short presentation. It is true that talking less can make more impact than the long story.
  • Jose Lopez
Changing the vision will flush out the fear !! .... Powerful concept !! ... Usually we learn to "battle" the fear with action and activity, in the physical field lets say ... This is quite a step up in conciusness ... Lets battle the fear in our minds, our vision, first ... WOW! Will work on it for sure!!
  • jbledsoejr
Changing the vision is changing the mindset (see my comment to NMPRO #244)...awesome!!! thx guys!
  • cmattern
They tell us to just keep sponsoring until you find the ones who want to do it! We are not born with a fear of talking to people. We have it drummed into us at an early age... "Don't talk to strangers". Well, this might be good advice for a five year old, but as adults, we no longer have the same risks... Now is the time when we SHOULD talk to strangers. That's how we meet new people. And, really, if they say no, so what? You are still walking, talking, and breathing. Are you five years old? Or an up and coming successful Network Marketer?
  • Agree...It's only a vision-Don't like it? Change the vision! Change the Channel.

Richard Brooke is so awesome. Lots of extra information on his website by his name! Much to learn.
Thanx Eric Worre. You do great work and provide an excellent service to us all!
  • Cindy Dower
I am so blown away how all these different people (leaders) can speak about the same principles and express them in so many different ways. The result being that if we expose ourselves to as many of these people as possible, some are going to be speaking directly to us, in our language and reference points and help shape our vision. Thank you.
  • KeithN
We have greater creativity and vision than we often give ourselves credit for. Our business is often based on what we perceive it to be.
  • cherisizzles
It WOULD be really empowering to know that I could talk to people and make them feel powerful, like "I can do that!" I love this morsel. Replace the negative vision with a positive vision. Yes. Falling in LOVE with the idea of approaching people. So many gems here!
  • Damijan81
"Change you vision will change your outcome" Inspiring stuff!
  • timandtricia
What an empowering concept. Create a new vision which replaces the fear. Good stuff.
  • i love the concept of "purging" the fear - thanks richard and eric
  • Constantly keeping that vision of prospecting.....keeping it positve to keep the negative out !
  • Veronica
If you have a fear, build confidence by changing the vision of your fear!!! makes perfect sence!! Thanks
  • CHANGING THE VISION (in any part of what it is I do in the process) WILL CHANGE THE OUTCOME, WILL PURGE THE FEAR, AND IT WILL REALLY WORK WELL IF I DEDICATE IT TIME ENOUGH.

    NOTES:
Fear is a big part of what we do.
Leaders attack their fears and don't let them stay in the way.
If I fear it I must do it.
Leaders do it but are highly motivated. Let's bungee jump, go into it!
How do people who don't have those distinctions replace fear with confidence?
Fear is a vision. Replace the vision. Shuff a vision of prospecting successfully, wathching it and seeing how does it feel.
One of my defining moments was after 3 years of presenting finding a guy that told me "I can do that" and made me over $100,000 in the next year.
We as human beings have the capacity to create a vision of what we want for us.
Who am I going to talk about IS a vison of "No one wants to do this!"
I have to spend time creating a positive vision. All you have to have is a vision of sponsoring people and how to lead people. It's fun, people are happy that I showed them an opportunity and are moving, the vision of what I want. And shuff that in, over and over and over again.
The fear will come out the other side. It has to. All I have to do is do it over time enough that leads me to take action and gain traction.
This is vastly more important than training and techniques.
Do this for 6 months, and you have a pyramid (or a diamond) that big.

CHANGING THE VISION (in any part of what it is I do in the process) WILL CHANGE OUTCOME, WILL PURGE THE FEAR, AND IT WILL REALLY WORK WELL IF I DEDICATE IT TIME ENOUGH
  • Pepeneto
"Leaders attack their fears, don't allow them to exist". "If I fear it I must doit". We are ables to creat images in our mind, we are the ones who creat the images of people saying "no", so, we need to create a different vision, but not only the vision of me having a great car, travelling around the worls wiht a big house, a vision of talking succesfully to people, thats what we need to have confidence to doit.
  • Inger
Replace the idea of fear with another big thing, your why, why are you doing it. Changing the vision, changes the outcome.
  • Guest
Great info! I was held back by fear for a long time but once I changed my mindset and took the time to learn the skills needed my whole attitude changed and now I love sharing what I do. I have learned to relate so much better to people in general so it has really helped me in many areas of my life.
  • Feed your mind with positive so it will help you to defeat the fear.
Activity - will help to defeat the fear.
  • jean_albert
Change the vision, change the out-come. thks
  • Ngoc Tran
This clip makes me remember Eric’s 4 series clip on Re-programming Yourself For Success In MLM. Thanks Richard for adding more point of view about changing vision. It’s so important because my vision will decide my future and fortune.
  • ronaldvandomburg
if i fear it i must do it...
replace your fear by a bigger vision!
i like that tip and i think it will work
  • mlmliberty
    Powerful stuff from Richard .
    Thak you Eric.
  • Shovers
Looks like I need to write a vision about leading my team.
  • seija
Changing your vision will change your life.
  • Perfection!!!!! Thanks for the nugget -- This is information I know, but did not think of vision in that manner.
Vision, - if your why don't make ya cry, expand your vision, change your thought process. invite the good, feed your mind and protect your vision.
  • gmeyerson
Take my negative thoughts and change to positive, fall in love with the vision not the money
  • JenniferDu79
Wow I just had a total Ah Ha moment. This is one of the most impactful episodes thus far for me. I love it you vision isn't of the money it is of talking and sponsoring and leading people and falling in love with it. I just hit my head and the though "I could of had a V8" just went through my head. I need to change my focus of my vision! Thank you Thank you Thank you!
  • kgadol
Take every thought captive and replace the negative, replace the fearful with the vision tremendous success! Doing it daily and seeing the success.
  • Steve Weaver
THAT! was the best show so far, and this time, I mean it. :-)

    Goes right in line with my personal growth and books I've been reading: Instant Wealth by Christopher Howard (the super succesful fall in love with the process); Making Your Vision Stick by Andy Stanley;
Put Your Dream To The Test by John Maxwell
  • gjt
change your vision change your life
  • lynnhall
I have replaced a negative thought with a positive thought and it does work, and keeping focused also helps.
  • karenandian
Replacing the fear with a vision that moves you through it. The fear is that we think we may make a mistake so most of us don't even start the conversation - We will make mistakes along the way - however we can change the approach until it is a true fit for us.
  • julie67
Seems like fear is the biggest roadblock.
  • Great stuff.

This is how all of your videos have affected me; This week I went to two events, put on the suit, and talked to people. Sure many of them were Network Marketers, or Business Owners looking to market online, but I had a chance to practice.

This is attacking my biggest fear, so what better place to go than a seminar where everyone wants to talk to you :)
  • FEAR is a big part, and if they don't have confidence enough it is easy for them to just quit!
Replace a negative thought with a positive.
Get motivated enough, and you find your way to do what you need to do,,,,,,,to get where you want to go...
  • annenz
    Leaders attack their fear. Thanks
  • jeanalbert
If I fear it, I must do it! Visualize your success over your fears and then go do it. Your fears are your own creations and only you have the power to destroy them.
  • eugenejohnson
if ur not making 100k a month....ur nothing lol
  • jlt0wn
Vision work helped to focus my intentions. Still a work in progress.
  • Pete
Mindset and leadership. Never heard it explained as vision....but it makes sense
  • Miguel Cortez
That why i have a Dream Broad in my Room.... :)
  • Jeroen Lingier
I loved the idea of replacing a fear idea with another powerful idea that will knock it down.
That's why you have to be aware of your thoughts and ideas,
What you imprint yourself with, so you shall become.
Treat your mind like your garden. (as a man thinketh)
Thanks for the info, Eric and Richard.
    Greetings,
    Jeroen from flanders/ Belgium
  • tonylogue
Changing your vision WILL change the outcome.

    "As a man thinketh...."

    "Without vision, the people perish".

    What fuels the vision? PASSION

What keeps the vision alive? FOCUS

What do I think of your contribution Eric? PRICELESS

Your bread is on the water..... Tony Logue
  • Luis (Pelon)
A vision with out action will take you no where.
  • kristibateman
    Great stuff. I needed this.
    Thanks Eric
  • staceylevin
I love this. Action is the cure for fear.
  • Jessi
Leaders attack their fears! Thank you
  • feltricks
I loved the idea of replacing a fear idea with another powerful idea that will knock it down.
That's why you have to be aware of your thoughts and ideas, like Tony Robbins says, guard your mind.
Feed it with ideas and information that will make you grow.
Face your fears, live your dreams.
    Thanks guys.
  • aliceclifford
Hi Eric I think every one starts working on their F-E-A-R the day they are born. Some over come and some never do. I am still work on mine. Thanks A.C.
  • jennyc
Face the fear, go do it anyway!!!
  • fc34615
Not easy, yet so simple. Thanks, Eric.
  • Excellent advice.
  • chriskemp817
Developing your vision. What do professional athletes do prior to an athletic event? They visulize their success. Highly recommend Richard Brooke's "Mach II With Your Hair on Fire"
  • I CAN DO THAT ;)
  • pech
I have used vision to improve some sporting skills. Of course I can also use vision to improve my Network Marketing skills. Thanks to Richard and Eric.
  • Lorraine
That is the exact approach I hear from the top leaders in my company. I see the momentum starting to pick up in my business because of a change of my approach.
  • Stephen
Thanks Eric for the show. Thanks to Richard for all the interview.
  • raybeattie
If I fear it, I must do it. What a great line. I love his vision work, eye opening.
  • Richard is the master of vision work. If you have not studied his book "Mach II With Your Hair On Fire: Mastering the Art of Vision and Self-Motivation" go to his website today and get it - www.richardbrooke.com . He generously offers many online tools for all of us to access because of his vision for this industry.

While you are on Richard's website, watch the 70 minute interview he did recently with Michael Clouse and Les Brown - it's priceless! http://www.richardbrooke.com/interview/default.asp This interview significantly demonstrates today's topic of how leaders attack their fears and change their vision for the future.
  • gmeyerson
F E A R - False Events Appearing Real, move through it and visualize something better for yourself, words to live by
  • amberaimshigh
I realized a few weeks ago that my fear has been the success! Having been there once before in the past and being let down by the company, I have been scared of the commitment it takes and don't want to let people down... crazy huh? Thank goodness I finally figured that out and have moved passed the fear by taking it a day at a time! WOO HOO
  • jerryscribner
    richard is a master craftsman
  • Steve_Nelson
THis was a short interview but it's full of gold!
  • "If I fear it....I must do it"
I'm putting that into my self talk.

I never thought about 'changing the vision' to replacing FEAR.
    That is a great idea!
  • By feeding the mind with your positive vision you start to dilute the fear and the negatives. Do it enough and you will succeed.
  • randyhendrickson
When I examine myself, I think my fear is success. Even though I have had success in my life I have not had this way of success
  • Successful people have fears just like everybody, but the difference is they don't let it stop them. They have a vision of where they are going and nothing will stand in their way. The good thing is we can all do that if our vision is strong enough.
  • Fear is a vision, needs to be replaced with a new one. Flush the fear out and rewire the engine.
  • daddykekere
Constantly grow your vision to flush out your fears
  • beckydesabah
Vision before anything.. just make it up and keep on working.
  • "If I fear it, I must do it!"... Definitely true, even in your personal life!
  • gerritbronkhorst
It's so true. After I didn't spend so much time on personal development lately (ie replacing fear with confidence) everything goes so much easier now I study AND practice.
  • Excellent message and just at the time I needed to hear it.
Loved the part that says vision is more important than tactics and techniques.
That is so true. If we do not have the vision of the outcome right, then nothing can change that.
I watched the PBS special on Dr. Wayne Dyer Excuses Begone. Check it out on YouTube.
Amazing stuff that fits right along on how to change your vision and loose the fear that drives your excuses.
Thanks again Eric and Richard for sharing this great wisdom with us.
    Make it a great day!
    God Bless,
    -ed
  • mspaulamc
VISION WORK changed my life, literally took me off the sidelines of life and into the game!

A great resource is Richard Brooke's book MACH II WITH YOUR HAIR ON FIRE and other articles at www.richardbrooke.com

Thanks Eric for sharing with the world our better way!
  • mbryant
Excellent tidbits on this interview...Thanks Eric! and Richard
  • It is easier for leaders to say "conquer your fears" because leaders became leaders by doing so. We can control ourselves but how can we help others who have this fear (besides showing them this video)?

Money isn't the motivation for everyone and so even if you say "you will get $500 or even $5000 if you go out and talk and recruit," not everyone will go out and do that. It's not that they don't want the money, but fear overcomes their desire for money and they can't move.

It is important for us to help those we sponsor overcome their fears... but how could we help someone who has chronic fear? What if it wasn't about motivation and it really was about chronic fear that makes that person freeze each time they pick up the phone to make those calls?!
  • juanfernandogutierrez
    I can DO IT!!!
  • HoracioMejia
"If I fear it, I attack it". Fear is a vision, that is why visualizing is so effective, both in negative and in positive. I had not thought about fear in that way before. I am just in that spot, in which I need to attack my fear.
  • Maybe when you are in love with what you are doing the fear is replaced with energy.
  • Leaders attack their fear. If you are highly motivated you attack your fears. Create the vision of doing what you fear and get over it. I can do that. Fears are created by us and we have the ability to get over them.
  • artdlasvegas
    Great thoughts! Thanks guys
  • hanneretvik
I will overcome my fears and rewire the engine by changing my vision in something bigger, better and more exciting! Thanks to both of you!
  • travelprohawaii
Cool I will change and fill my head with a new vision!
  • bethascoli
Create a vision of BEING more, not HAVING more - if you work on becoming, the have will take care of itself.
  • Bernadette
Replace fear with vision! Thank you Eric and Richard. By the way, the original interview with Richard had some great information. thank you for that one too and for all you do.
  • Ryan
Laser sharp vision and end result are the focus. Everything else follows suit.
  • This was a very good point to make
Again Eric thank you very much for doing this series
  • keithraines
Change the vision...I have begun to notice my thoughts prior to calls or talking with people. If they are reseved or negative I don't "feel" confident about talking with them. I am changing my vision, perception about how to talk with people.
  • SJ Doug
Chase the fear away, this is a better way!
  • Positive visualizaton ... and the great part is that after the FIRST success - and each one after that - you have additional information with which to work with while you're 'visualizing'.

Richard is awesome - his book "Mach 2 With Your Hair On Fire" is a classic and a must-read.

    Best,
    Scott
  • Thanks for the great advice. Change the vision...I'll start doing that. It's amazing how most people have fears, and how successful people have fears but know how to channel those fears into something else.
  • Building a solid vision is key and as you develop the positive thoughts in your vision the negative ones have to move out because there's no room for them anymore.

    Thanks Eric & Richard.
  • lucbehar
Vision of prospecting successes transform fears into confidence! so true and so right
    Focus day after day
Changing the vision will change the outcome with right time and right focuss
    tks Eric
  • Powerful info!
  • happyhealthybob
If i fear i must do. That is awesome. great way to teach your people.
  • Richard nailed it when he said that "we create our own fears." I agree that if we spend time preparing ourselves, seeing our vision, we will get enough going to be a success.
  • Superb interview. So many people let fear limit their success. I like Richards way of teaching how to use visionwork. The samt way that you Eric teaches in the series "Reprogramming your mind" - so important.
  • Lisette
Thank you Eric for this interview.
  • Face the fear. Attack belief you are afraid of. Both good action statements. When we acknowledge the Fear, we actually give it energy, thus need to spend energy to overcome it.

How about this: Both Fear and Faith are visions of things that have not happened.

One is negative (fear), one is positive (faith), why not just chose the positive?

    Have faith and move forward.
  • Dee_Canada
This is such a huge obstacle for me at times. I love Richard's illustration....keep putting in the vision of doing it the right way....being successful...in one ear...and the fear will flow out the other ear!! LOL I will visualize myself talking to prospects with the same confidence that I have talking to my cross-line team members...no fear...just telling the story....brain intact...fear falling out... :0)
  • Steve Weaver
Dee - "You can do it!" (Great to meet you in San Francisco at Eric's Event)
  • Daniel Glez.Peña
Hola Eric, We need to change our fears, and we are gonna be stronger....
    Saludos.

    B"H
100% agree Vision can change all your fears.
  • Arnold Thompson
I love it. Visualize success and it will push out the fear. Then, go get it done!!
  • Great follow-up to the first part. Thanks Richard and Eric
  • Thank you, Eric for this replacing your fear with vision. Not only visualizing me making a great presentation and signing up one after another, but believing I can and I am doing it over and over and over! Seeing me doing it in the movie of my mind until the fear is flushed out is a great way to look at this.
  • alltheverybest
Great interview and great comments below too..This is stuff we all know, I am sure... but it is easy to forget and not to notice as the doubts creep back.
Just keep on clarifying your vision. Leave no room for fear.
  • Bryan_in_KC
Noticed 2 things... 1) He is passionate about "vision replacement therapy" and 2) HIS HANDS ARE HUGE !!!
  • smreed
Great interview. I love Richard's wisdom. I do think that we can learn something from animals though. They are all pretty determined.....they do what they have to do to survive. They hunt to survive day to day. I don't think they let the day pass by without achieving what they need everyday, otherwise they will starve. For instance, look at the squirrels, they collect food and store it long before winter comes. They are constantly challenged by other squirrels but keep on plugging away and coming back. I've seen there actions many times in my yard...the black squirrels vs the greys (my favs are the greys, go greys! ;)) We could all use some of the same day to day determination that animals have wouldn't you say?!
  • Robbin
The $$ will follow if you talk to people.
  • Eric, Excellent interview. Finally someone explained my fears of prospecting the way I feel them. Now I have an answer not only for me but for others. Change the vision of how you see it. The simple things make all the difference.
  • orlyalbo
Yes i can. The vision i put in my mind. it have smell, color, photo, all clear. I keep moving thrue my fears.
  • denagottlieb
Yes! Gotta replace those negative feelings like fear, with positive images.
Anybody here try EFT for that?
  • hillin
Like in sport, visualization is a major part of success
  • gkamlm
Create the vision of your success to force the fear completely out of your thought process.
  • BetterCoffee.dk
    Good stuff.

I for one pledge to keep facing my demons!

"If you fear it you must do it"- get inspiration
  • tomlacey
"If you fear it you must do it" and the visualization techinique were very powerful.
  • CarlosVera
“If I fear I must do it”. Only by "bungee-jumping" out of your fears you’ll get rid of what’s holding you back.
By doing this consistently and by developing a positive vision we'll replace the negative ones with positive ones.
    Great lessons guys!
  • coltsco
I loved this entire interview. Visualization to overcome fear and to prospect confidently is great advice.
  • Darnell
"If I fear it I must do it!!" Huge thought of inspiration!! Time to go bungee-jumping!! This is wonderful...thanks so much for this second part. Need to put this on replay!! Have a wonderful weekend one and all!! Looking 4ward to the next video!!
  • jpmendoza

  • marvalouslife1
Overcoming the fear is the greatest thing of all.
behind our biggest fears, there is the greatest freedom. just face it, open the door of fear and cross it to the other side.

    Thank you Eric.

  • Lotta
    Great interview.
  • susanclark
#245 - Replacing Fear with Confidence 2of 2 - The idea about creating a vision about approaching people, sponsoring number for the month, etc. is an amazing idea. By creating this vision of our approach, we will drive away whatever fear we have about this approach. Then when you practice this approach more and more that fear will be driven away as it is with leaders. Then your motivation will drive away the fear. Create the vision. Great concept. Thank you.
  • Love the vision stuff...im right now refining, my vision for 2010 ! Good in Good out !
  • Irina
Thank you Eric for Excellent interview!
  • JudasPierce
    Pyramid...Diamond....whatever!....lol....that was the best part...
  • alltheverybest
    I LOVED that too!
  • WOW.......placing this guy with Lisa Jimenz would be like the dream seminar of conquer fear :)
  • Love it. Visualise until you purge your fears. Also If I fear it I must do it! Thanks Eric and Richard
  • peterragg
One of my goals in this business is time freedom, giving me very serious beach time. However no success = no beach.

I visualise all of the time, it works.

Visualise the tropical beach with just you and your partner on it, walking hand in hand along the shore line. The sun is just starting to set, a warm breeze brushes your face....... Need i say more

    Just do it

    Have a great weekend
    Peter Ragg
  • Simon_and_Lia_NL
    We can do that...
we can create fear (but we can also create confidence)
we can be eaten (but we can also eat)
attack your fear to gain confidence.
Thank you mr Brooke and Eric for this great(est) interview, we have a better way!
  • Agneta Rebo
Overcoming you fear is great - you just have to take the first step, and then the next and the next ....

The only thing ranking higher than confidence is INTEGRITY.

Attack your fears. Go forward and hone your skills in the areas that you are least confident.
  • DianaValdez
If I fear I MUST do it!
  • Bea Resnick
I really like the idea of changing the vision.....what we see and say to ourselves....to move out of the fear. Change the internal representation and you'll change your physiology, your emotional state and your behavior. NLP 101
  • Ellis3
Tremendous sitdown with Bliss Brooke. I really agree with the part about shoving a positive, confident vision into one side of my head and having the fear be shoved out the other ear. Will work on that tonight. :)
  • yuvalcohen
    Thanks Eric
Lesson comes just in time for me.
This week I had a lot of people saying no. I paused for a moment I checked what I need to fix my presentation. And continue forward. I know I'm the leader of our business larger than life.
Problem of those who are afraid to join our wey
  • crwood1967
It's great ideas Eric! If only we could get 100% of our people to do the same thing!

Repitition, like experience, can overcome the fear factor. Having the vision and the drive are very important factors in defeating your fears.
  • caronwashington
Visualize your future, great presentations and leading a large group of people who do small simple actions consistently over a long period of time. Create momemtum and before you know it that team will develop

  • Jillian
Yes - overcoming the fear is one thing and then being confident in your own skin is the next step...
  • Great Stuff Eric! I think it's such a great idea to bring people back for a second round because you get to really dig deeper and find those hidden gems that didn't make their way on to the show last time. Thanks again!!!

Wow... yeah, confidence is preatty much about 'everything'.

Oh!..I like the visual image I just caught..about Positive Thinking..and the difference this can mean for those of us starting out and those that have been in the trenches for a term..

As always, Eric, you have brought to the forum a great nugget of influence for NWM Pro's everywhere.

    Thank you
  • This was a great video. I'll be watching this again and again.

replacing fear with a vision of greatness. seeing the tings you can do and accomplish. all you have to do is visualize and believe.
  • At the risk of plagiarism, I must mention the author:

We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face... we must do that which we think we cannot.
    Eleanor Roosevelt
  • Gakungu
Change your vision and mind-set and thrive. Thank you both for the input.
  • Great show with lots of excellent takeaways that must be viewed over and over. One of the key learning for me here is that WE imagine the problems we think we face - they aren't real, we probably attract most of them by sending out the wrong vibes, expecting things to go badly.

I'm going to treat everyone I meet as a suspect and then find out if they're a prospect by asking about their life to see where and if it hurts.

I love the vision of stuffing in a different vision to displace the fears as an alternative means of discussing paradigm shifting.

What a FANTASTIC lesson! That's the first time I've ever called fear a "vision." But it's so true! Thank you Eric and Richard for some unbelievable and VALUABLE lessons!
  • highimpact0406
A reminder of the fact that we need to face our fears will NEVER get old... thanks Eric, once again, for sharing great information with us!

  • Replace your fear with whatever works best for you. Either attack it head on, or replace it with a successful vision. No matter which method you choose, nothing can replace action.
  • patrickmcfeely
Richard that was Great information now to put it to work.
Thank you for your time Eric

  • Oh yeah Mr. Worre, the next punch right into my face ;-) You know.....lol. Take care and best regards from your biggest fan.
  • Cee_G
I absolutely agree. Visualization is a very powerful tool. Have used it successfully to achieve goals in many areas of my life. You have to be aware of the "old tapes" playing in your mind, stop them, and replace them with "new tapes". Great interview. Thank you Eric and Richard!
  • ybimbalanced
We are the only creatures that make our own reality, whatever it is! Thanks Erick, again, great info.

  • drpricedc
Classic PsychoCybernetics in action. Drill...Drill...Drill...in the theater of your mind, rehearsing every twist and turn that you can think of possibly occuring....and rehearse it over and over again....see it clearly, vividly, with every detail possible, and in the theater of your mind create the desired outcome of a happy, motivated, self determined team member ready to join you on you path and ready to take responsibiity for themselves and their success. If you do this enough times to where this becomes your reality, that will become the energy level that you live in, those will be the situations and people that you will begin to attract, and you will be on your way to success. It is called "doing the work" Prepare....prepare...prepare so that it feels natural, and is natural, and when you are sitting across from the table from someone who does not meet your ideal scene, you will know that this may not be a person that you want to work with, and then you can make the decision to not invite them to join. Now you are in control, you are interviewing potential business partners as opposed to trying to anyone who can fog a mirror and has a pulse. It changes who you are, you become the professional and the prospect is now trying to earn their way into joining you in business. What a beautiful place to come from....what a powerful place to live. I guarantee that Jim Rohn did not try to impress or convince people. He came from conviction and passion and purity of purpose....and I bet he rehearsed, rehearsed and rehearsed. If we could all become this person, we would all be sought out for our wisdom, people would ask us to help them reach their goals....we would become Doctors of Success!
  • I loved the part about the vision - envision yourself talking to people, nailing your process! That's a great way to start. REALLY GOOD ADVICE!!! REALLY GOOD!
  • Great concept.....changing my vision will also attack my fears. I've found if I have no attachment, I don't have the fear....what a positive change ! ! !
  • brianhepner
Wow I totally get this concept.... Talk about a game changer. Thank You Richard and Eric. Time to train pushing fear out the other ear.
  • barryburgin77
"If I fear it, I must do it". Replace the FEAR vision! Changing my vision will change the outcome. Easy to do, easy not to do. Take the slight edge approach to this challenge. If you haven't read the slight edge by Jeff Olson, I encourage you to do so. Its a very easy read, audio CD available if you want to go that route and its easy to do......or easy not to do!!
  • maariee
Wow! Great advise today. I like it. Thank you very much for sharing.
  • Earl
Vision!!!! Without vision the people will parish! Thanks for the reminder!

When your vision of faith (the vision of what you DO want) is really Clear you can see past the things of vision of fear (the vision of what you don't want).

It is like light and dark... they can not occupy the same space at the same time! Light (vision) will over power the darkness (fear) as the vision gets stronger.
  • Excellent interview! I'll be sending this to my team!
  • germanjaramillo
All we have in our mind is our reality. That is, if we introduce in our mind to contrary thoughts that cause us fears, simply our reality changes and fears disappear easier.

From this vision, we can take action to help increase our skills.

Additionally, taking action produces good results and increases motivation.

A special greeting from Cali, Colombia,

  • Connie Tolton
When we 'get it' we have to remember it's probably not the first time we heard it. So if we keep that in mind when we are talking to others it helps to remember that it takes times and consistency.

    Thanks, Connie T
  • dlinkhart
I think I may fear more than I thought! It's not just talking to people, but coming across the right way and really getting so tired of rejection. Sooooooo, it out with the old and in with the new vision of success!!

  • anthonyviglietta
I could have listened to these guys for another 3 hours. Awesome.
  • I agree with playing our vision in our mind as much times as you need - then you dream it and it comes easier.
  • The point that leaders attack their fears makes complete sense. If you take action against your fear by doing something over and over again, then your fear will diminish. If you don't take action against your fear, then you end up feeding it and your fear will grow.

The vision you create in your mind to replace your fear must have a course of action that runs directly through your fear. If you sidestep it or go around your fear, then your fear will continue to control you. "If I fear it, then I must do it!" Just do it!
  • Josh N
Yes, action preceeds motivation. Faith and fear cannot exist with in you at the same time.
  • jeffreyhall
Leaders push through challenges to be stronger on the other side. Everyone has fears!

Personal development is key in shaping your focus and vision. And not just haveing a vision but acting on that vision. We've go to see it and believe it before it becomes true in real life.
  • Kjell Englund
Since I started my Network Marketing business is a whole bunch of crushed fears behind me, but there are many more to overcome to reach the top.
But I am sure that my personal development and good advice from wise men and women will show me the way.
    Thanks Eric and Richard
  • If we don't change our vision of fear and use our God given vision to create, we might as well be an animal. However, I do believe that having confronted that fear and taken the bungey jump and purged the fear if then it doesn't fit for you move on.
  • hlj521
Time to purge the fear! Getting new visions and seeing myself as the leader I know I am on the inside, being that all the time and turning my fears into a MUST do it challenge! Thanks Eric for another great interview!

Eric, I love your networkmarkingpro! I'm so glad that you are so passionate that you want to share everything you know so that we can all grow. And this guy is great! • destrie
Great stuff Eric, change your vision to something positive and do what it is you fear the most. Thanks =)
  • Leaders focus on the end result and fear cannot exist in that mindset. It makes no sense to worry about what we have no control over. A positive mental attitude and belief in yourself conquers all fear and doubt.
  • Change the vision... purge the fear! If I fear it I MSUT do it.

    Great stuff
  • Great nuggets about keeping or creating the "vision"....Action will take us out of our fear mode and we just have to keep on keeping on. Love the "bungee-jumping" analogy as well. You have to step of the "ledge"..In our business we have to take "massive action". Good stuff.
  • MarvinTowler
Faith is the antidote for fear. "Always the man who has faith in his own ability accomplishes far more than the one who has no confidence in himself." ~Ernest Holmes
  • TAbrams
Great 2nd half to this interview. I loved the Bungee Jumping example... to do it you have to step off. So many people stand with cords attached on the ledge and Create so much fear that they work themselves off the ledge (in our profession out of the business).. and then come up with excuses.

Anything that we FEAR, we need to meet head on, tackle it and as Nike says "Just do it".. We constantly have to develop, refine and expand our vision.

A key few words I heard him say were "Do it long enough to get into action". I think this is key in our industry as so many aren't in the business long enough to ever get into action and their FEARS take them out due to not having the vision.

As leaders when we sponsor people and work with our teams casting the vision and working on developing great, strong and a solid long term vision is key.
  • Destroying fears is powerful stuff.
  • Episode 36 of Eric Worre's 100 Episode Throw Down Challenge:

"If I fear it, I MUST do it. Great statement. This 2 part interview may go down as one of the best interviews ever.. That memorial must have really gotten you guys in a zone.

Fear is the operating mode that prevents us from doing almost anything or drives us to do things. This is a good lesson on changing the fear mode.
  • Keeping the vision of want we ultimately want in our mind is what can help motivate us and overcome those fears. "Replacing the negative vision with the vision of what we want!" "Attacking the fear" Well said. I never thought of it like that. Thanks Guys!
  • facing fears is an interesting idea because once w e get into action we realize that there was nothing to fear but fear itself!
  • mrmauriocrawford
Mr. Brooke is fascinating. Great job Eric. You guys are my role models. Fear can be replaced!!!! Just decided and focus on doing that. The sky is the limit.

Over the past year because of the urgings of Jim Rohn I have studied the lives of successful people and as Mr. Rohn said "Success leaves clues." Nearly every story I have read involved the successful person having a big bold vision very far removed from their current circumstances and they refused to surrender that vision.
  • Thanks for this interview Eric and Richard. Replacing a fear with a vision of a successful outcome is definitely something I will use.

    Good advice as always.
  • brigittapatel
We can create a better vision for ourselves.

    Thanks a million.
  • Face your fears - they probably aren't THAT scary.
  • Replace your fear with belief in what you have to offer others. Let the passion come out people will sense it and want to be a part of it with you.

vision with practice, excellent thank you
  • Mark_Abrahams_UK
I am in attack mode, not so much tackling fear but readying to respond and take responsibility, building confidence with respect to what many prospects may be feeling.

It's about leadership and management, dealing with empowerment, consistent effort and duplicating what works.
What works is the best answer to fear and disempowerment.

Many don't yet know that feeling "I can do that".
Thanks to Richard Bliss Brooke for creating this vision for us.
I am developing my vision and this helps reinforce this, how we need to be, to help others.
    Thanks again Eric..

The US and Canada were born from the visions of "There is a Better Way"...The vision of Self Determination and Opportunity.....many chose not to come as their vision was of vast wasteland and terrible creatures......Don't make your "New World" anything but Great Opportunity and Self Determination"We Have A Better Way".....now go tell the world
  • hpena
His analogy reminds me of the one Darrin Hardy spoke about. Your mind is like a glass of water, when there's bad stuff in there it's like dark murky water. To flush it out you have to consistently run your mind under clear clean water. People's vision of this business is often fear based when in fact we are blessed to even have this opportunity in our lives. If we realized that we are GIVING hope and a better quality of life, not taking start up costs, then the fear would be eliminated.

Funny, I saw this quote on Twitter earlier: "Gratitude is the antidote to fear" -Robin Sharma
  • Absolutely brilliant! Do either of you (Eric & Richard) realize how much of an impact you've made for me these last several months.

I go back to regardless of how simple we create the process, for example.. "Step 1, Step 2, etc." if people have fear, they won't do it.

Fear is the main block that keeps people from creating action and we all know that without action, people are not going to magically appear in our downline.

I will listen to this interview over and over as it is a very powerful key to unlocking my success. I am making a commitment to myself that I will begin each day with more visualizing what I want to feel more comfortable doing, and visualize being a great leader.
  • Great quote of this episode: “If I fear it I must do it”

When you ask yourself a dis-empowering question you will always answer yourself with a dis-empowering answer.

I like the idea that if you shove enough empowering thought into your head the fear gets pushed out. They can’t coexist

I also really like the idea of visioning yourself enjoying your work.

Great episode! Much appreciation to Mr. Brooke for taking the time to sit down and share with all of us here.
  • Richard Brooke is a great leader. His messages is so powerful. And thank you Eric Worre for the interview.

    Dear Eric,
I got it, fear means, you're growing, need to place the fear by vision it and it results.
    Thank you.
  • Wow, that's a million dollar thought!
I know it's not new, but it's worth reminding again and again.
If we have abilities to create fears, we also have abilities to create any positive emotions, and replace a negative vision with a positive one. Just try that long enough, and you'll change your vision.

    Thank you Mr. Brooke.
  • emmettb
This is the first time someone has said to visualize how you would lead, not just what you want but how you would feel as a leader and interact with successful people. I like that. I have no problem talking with people, as long as I feel they are at my level, but above me, that is different. Now I see a bit of why.

  • Great interview Eric! A person should not only create the vision in their head, but also right it down! Read that vision daily and take action!
  • Everytime you feel fear, use it as a reminder to focus on your vision.

Great interview Eric and Richard. Creating a VISION to replace fear -- I'm on it! Thanks

If I fear... I must do it... Wow! I'm going to use this two shows! Self-Motivation... the secret weapon which allows us to thrive and channel the fear. Inspiring movies, videos, audios... Honestly... this simple stuff makes me stand up and go do it. Retorical questions... I've been sometimes in that mode for certain areas of my business... the hidden fact is that I just don't want to face that fear... This lessons and the power of repetition (which allows any human organism to show accute >> to functional >> to structural adaptation) Speaking, Prospecting, Leading, etc... Change the vision and work towards the new one... I remember what we discussed at the Live Event: "There is a promised land... we can go there together" So... "There is a new vision... we can adopt it until it becomes ours"

Great interview. $ 500 for every person you sign. Put that into your teams mind. The fact is probably that if you sign 5 or 10 every month , you will probably earn $5000 on every person you sign in the future!!!!. Probably not this year, but after a few years I think that is the fact. Not interested ? So what - next ;)
