sorry to get so much behind. I'm skipping to full interview.
  • wealthandriches
I'll have to get his books. I can see this interview is only going to scratch the surface since the well is so deep.
  • yitz613
Dig your well before you are thirsty. Great common sense although all too often overlooked.
  • Still catching up....going to skip ahead to the Complete & Unedited version....but wanted to make sure my comment was counted! ;-)
  • dterrell
    Thanks, great information.
  • Dylan Cooper
Amazing information. Thanks so very much.
  • If NMPRO consisted of only these 5 video's it would have been good enough for me
  • This was loaded with life lessons....Thanks Harvey
  • AdvocareJax
He has lived an incredible life and has so many experiences to learn from. Even in his very early years, he did some incredibly wise things.
  • Lotta
    Very intresting.
  • meagankellytorres
Live life on purpose. Make contacts with people you meet through out your day and keep in contact with them.
  • Donna Wheaton
I have to make a choice to live my life with purpose. I have decided that I am living my life with PURPOSE! I can't say it enough Eric thank you for all that you are doing for our wonderful industry.
  • feltricks
This reminds me what you said Eric in San Francisco, when you just join a NM company, you must introduce yourself to everybody. Let them know who you are, and ever better, let them know who you will become. Leaders, corporate people will be glad to have your info and track you in the path to success.
  • I am going to have my daughters watch this interview. To know and understand these concepts at age 21 is an incredible way to begin a life of success and purpose. I love the concept of dig your well before you are thirsty.
  • Where I come from there's a belief that using our contacts and friendships for getting to where I want is not an honourable thing to do. I dealt with this beief for some years, to the point of thinking exactly the opposite. My realtionships and how confortable people feel around me will open (or close!) the doors I wish to see open.

Here's another one of those beliefs that can get me stuck into a place of mediocrity and unhappiness.

    NOTES:
I did know a banker that bet on me at age 26 when I started this company. From 21 to 26 I focused on building the relationships that would help me start my company. Counsciously deciding to meet the top business people, the lawyers, the bankers, the doctors... being a volunteer and enhacing my skills.

I try to teach life lessons: take home value!
I walked over a country club and told them I wanted to play for their team. "I don't have any money know, but want to be a part of the club" I met over 300 business people.

Dig your well before your thirsty - "One day I'm going to need a room". "Someday I'll be a client oy yours"... the most important are doctors.
  • Interesting thoughts from interesting people!
  • turjcxg
That's a perfect example of networking on purpose. It really helps to see/hear you guys giving out these examples from your lives.
  • orlyalbo
I asked them if they'd seen this site so now they are all coming to join our community.
  • happyhealthybob
Great, great, great interview so far!
  • tommycone
#249 - Network on purpose. What great information.
  • DianaValdez

    do whatever it takes

  • veronikakari
    Interesting approach
  • alltheverybest
Great advice here - I never thought about the importance of the medical side before.
  • For the last 2 years I have been Networking "on purpose" both for my business in NWM and in for "private" use. But now I understand, I have a lot more to do, regarding this...... =) And try to be more creative...
  • timandtricia
This seems like a life strategy. Make networking a part of who you are. I do have a little problem with his philosophy about doctors and medical facilities.
  • alltheverybest
I don't understand why you have a problem with that...makes sense to me!
  • Getting to know all the influential people in your life or area is really great stuff. It may not be who you know but who they know. Your net worth is always determined by your network. Good stuff
  • WOW! THis bumped right into one of my major dysfunctions in life....now I can open that door and let the air in.
  • kgoren
Great information about "Digging your well before you're thirsty". Be creative, think outside the box and conciously make a decision to meet the doctors, lawyers, bankers, etc. in your life. Networking "on purpose"! Thanks.

I am really enjoying this interview...Harvey Mackay seems so down to earth and the way he delivers the information is phenomenal...I am going to take his advice and be creative, think outside the box and get to know influential people.
  • margarethockaday
get to know infuential people and be yourself. Think outside the box.
  • Shovers
Interesting! Hob Nob with Dr's and Lawyers and etc.
  • Steve_Nelson
The thing that stuck out most to me personally in this interview is how important good health is. It must become a priority to me to be healthier NOW. I'm hearing of too many people passing on in their early 50's and 60's lately. I'm only 26 but habits aren't easy to change and I'm better off creating good ones now when it comes to health than waiting until I'm 50. Anybody else?
  • jerryscribner
    excellent
  • i was told that I am the collective average of the people I surround myself with... it rings so true in this vid as Harvey surrounded himself with some really great people
  • emmettb
I like his connect before you need them attitude.
  • caronwashington
Networking with a purpose is huge, You never know when you will need to call out to someone you met last week, last month or last year. Its all about relationship building in all parts of your life.

Dig your well before you're thirsty: Get to know bankers, accountants , lawers and doctors... politicians, topp business people, etc all the influential people before you ever need them. Do well to others, spend 25% of your time to volunteerwork. Enhance your skills while doing this. Bring value to others!
  • martinvf
get out of the box and start networking, not only to make biz, but to share to and get from other people.

  • BetterCoffee.dk
    I absolutely network on purpose.

I must say though, that I maintain some moral standards.
I don't stay in touch with people I dislike.
I don't choose friends by their occupation.
But I do always take an interest in understanding exactly what my friends do for a living.
  • Thank you Harvey and Eric, listening to you two is amazing and like drawing a breath of fresh air.
  • jennyc
    Relationships are key!
  • Agneta Rebo
    What a great guy!!
  • Dee_Canada
Man....you could spend WEEKS getting tidbits on life from Harvey!! At 51 (soon 52) I need to begin again networking in my community. I used to be active with sports and church etc., but as life changes took place, work too precidence in my life. I know now, that I lost years of time that could have been so frutiful. I will start anew in volunteering, and making a point of meeting the people of influence in my community. I was afraid it was too late...but I realize that is never the case.

    Thank you...
  • travelprohawaii
Wow creativity is a great tool! As life happens it seems to have provided a mold of how things should be. There is NO mold, whatever circumstance we're in we are not destined to stay there. The life we were meant to live is one that has unlimited potential, not a constrained one. Thanks.
  • pech
My decision to work with Network Marketing seems more and more to be right for me.
  • kristibateman
Wow, I would love to meet Harvey Mackay
  • keithraines
Volunteer give to those who can not repay you. Give without expecting a return.
  • Good info about healthcare... I will be the first to admit I don't like going to the doctor.
  • Great lessons here. You never know what can happen when your building relationships. Always ask lots of questions. Let the person your networking with share their story. You will be amazed at what you can learn when you do this.
  • Bernadette
this is a gret interview. Thanks Eric and Harvey
  • SJ Doug
I wish I could have listen to this 30 years ago, so I willat least make sure my kids hear it now.

    More great stuff.
  • krisic
I love the idea of consciously picking certain people to network with. Sometimes I feel like I'm aimlessly looking.
  • susanclark
#249 Harvey Mckay Interview 4 of 5-Dig a well a before you are thirsty. Make your connections before you need them. 25% time volunteering put him in a position to be connected to a lot of influential people like bankers, doctors, lawyers, and accountants. Build a lifetime of connections and they will serve you well.
  • ritafulton
Somehow I just missed this episodde. Lot's of great stuff for us all to grab hold and do!!

    Thank you
  • smreed
Harvey had quite a profound role model in his father.
I think it is good for us all to think of being such a role model ourselves to our children and the people around us.

  • jacob stiner
Hey Eric is very refreshing to listen and learn from amazing men like harvey macky theks
  • TAbrams
Love the philosophy "Dig your well before your thirsty".

Great lesson here for laying and building a solid long term foundation in our profession but also in any business.

Consciously doing specific things and working towards putting your network in place of meeting people of purpose and influence and honing in your skills and building your brand through your volunteerism.
  • Networking on Purpose. Harvey's philosophy of digging your well before you need it has served him well. It's refreshing to hear from someone that has lived his life on purpose. With so many people today not being able to see into tomorrow, Harvey's ability to see into the future makes him a very unique person. Lots of wisdom in his words.
  • maariee
Great words and a really great man. Thank you
  • Harvey is a truly a great role model with so much great information about building a life. Dig the well, build the network, help others, and you will be setting up for a prosperous life.
  • Great message about personal health for Men especially. I am scheduling a complete physical and blood work check-up at the doctors later in the year. Its amazing the waiting list times when your not sick ;) -d-
  • raybeattie
Dig your well before your thirsty, set the foundation before you build. Love it.
  • coltsco
Networking with a purpose is something I've really been concentrating on over the last four months. But I always try to remember to bring something of value to others when I'm doing this. Dig my well before I'm thirsty, but also offer the water to those who are helping me dig it.
  • pollyhulseman
Dig your well before you are thirsty - so true, but how we forget that.
  • hpena
Well I just got his new book, but now I have to buy his older books. His advice is priceless.

  • rmonte
Our true wealth is really in or family and our friends. Want to make a million dollars? make a million friends. Priceless interview. Thanks
  • Ngoc Tran
Another precious philosophy: Did Your Well Before You Are Thirsty. I so love it. You are awesome. Thank you so much Harvey & Eric for your contribution!
  • hillin
Dig your well before you're thirsty ->Epic
  • tomlacey
I think Harvey's father is rivaling Robert Kyioski's father's advice! This is 8 minutes of video THat will need to be reviewed and aborsed carefully. Very powerful insight.
  • Jessi
Dig your well before you get thirsty! Smart words!
  • Simon_and_Lia_NL
    a few important 1 liners:
--start with influential people (do not be afraid, show some guts)
--use your ceativity and do not pretend to be what you are not (think)
--dig your well before you get thirsty (act)

I agree with other viewers, this is a great interview with so many learning moments
  • karenandian
Dig your well before you are thirsty!! Great insight. Volunteering - you reap what you sow - if you give unselfishly - you will receive abundance!!
Thank you Mr. MacKay and Eric - This is a must watch several times!!!
  • Simon_and_Lia_NL
to all viewers: How many has volunteered today or will volunteer tomorrow?
    do not stay theoretical.

to Eric, I consider your NetworkMarketingPro.com as a great volunteering job of you.
You give us your time and your thoughts of which we viewers all benefit and
hopefully even more people in our surroundings... thanks
  • peterburrows
just had to watch this again.....
  • peterragg
Build community with strength through networking, what can i do for you.

    Regards
    Peter Ragg
  • Lisette
You will get, what you give.
  • Very exciting. It's all about relationships.
  • Dig your well before you're thirsty - heard it before but this is a good explanation of what that means in practice. Wish I'd met Harvey when I was 16yrs old - I'm sure he's helped thousands and thousands of people with his wisdom.

At my business network yesterday out of nowhere we had 5 or more MLM companies represented!

I took the opportunity to address the room of 100 business people and simply ask them to imagine why in a recession there were so many network marketing representatives there and to note that most were in the health and wellness market.

I shared the love and asked them all to consider a part time income in these difficult times and to look out for those people that might be unfulfilled or struggling at the opportunities that network marketing provides. I just stopped short of letting them know that "My wish for you is that you decide...". Afterward all of the "competing" networkers came up to thank me for promoting their opportunity (I didn't mention mine) and I asked them if they'd seen this site - they had not - so now they are all coming to join our community ;-)

I also showed them some of my third party tools and how to use them (some had been in a business 3.5 yrs and hadn't had the training that I've already found and adopted in a couple of week). Several of them took my intro tool CD away to listen to I think because they felt the passion and belief that I was sharing with them. As my Randy Schroeder says - it's not alway what you say but how you say it.

Because ladies and gentlemen - it is a stone cold fact that we have a better way - now let's go tell the world :-0
  • MattinJaxfl
Network on Purpose. This is a lesson I can definitely benefit from. Meeting people of influence on purpose and honing skills through volunteerism.
  • bartonmurray
    priceless...
  • Ha Ha. Some great stories and insights. What a great man.
  • HoracioMejia
Building networks is becoming one of the most powerful weapons you can possibly have when deciding to make a success out of your life. Fortunately, I am finding myself, for the first time, networking on purpose.
  • Five years of digging his well... imagine the size of that well
  • People who build webs tend to be lucky.
The more contacts you make in life, the more relationships you build the greater the universe of people who have strong positive feeling for you, the more likely you are to be a success.
  • Bryan_in_KC
Man.... this is great stuff. What amazing insight, especially on the best people to connect and build relationships with. Loving it!
  • Eric,
The line between a good intent in your networking and selfish intent is not faint it is very clear. How many calls have you received where someone reminds you they did something for you and now they need something from you. Like,"you should join my business because I did you that favor once". Ever say or hear that one?
  • If you're thirsty, DIG HARDER!
  • latachia_2
Well, nice to know I'm on it with always going to the same clinic for the DR.I go to a small bank in a store& they are really friendly there& sometimes a larger one& the same goes for them.I never really thought of it as networking, but I guess it's a form of it.Dig your well before your thirsty.....Good advise from a wize man.
  • Irina
Dig Your Well before you're thirsty!!!
  • Ellis3
What I got from this interview was that your networking involves lifestyle and not just business contacts. That's what I plan to do from now on.
  • Yes, I am networking on purpose. My biggest takeaway from this segment of the interview is that the stories Harvey tells about his networking all have unselfish intentions. In other words, he didn't network with these people for his purpose alone, but rather to always give without expectation.

Too many people today are selfish. Many network marketers are selfish. For them, it's only about the next sale, the next recruit, how to sell more shovels to those people trying to dig themselves out of a hole.
  • karivankleef
    Great info. Thank you
  • I so love the concept of "dig your well before your thirsty."
This is something that is a must to be added to my life.
Thanks for the tips on the best people to connect with and create relationships with.
    Make it a great day!
    God Bless,
    -ed

  • Ria Leermakers
I like this interview very much. Curious for the next part and the uncut version.
This part brings me back to: who do I know and who do I want to know.
Which people do I spend time with.
    Thanks.
  • Luis (Pelon)
Comments are decreasing on a daily basis, I'm still comited to comment on the 100 programs.

Thank you Harvey for the Salute! to Us Women! in the Marketplace~~ What an awesome interview..honestly, Eric you always have fantastic interviews; owever, I do believe this one with Harvey is incredible. Thank you and to all your interviewee's(?).
  • What an ambitious man! "Learn to be creative - think outside the box". We have a lot to learn from Harvey.
  • jlt0wn
astute businessman. also very focused. staying with one group of doctors isn't realistic in today's environment. like his phrase " dig your well before you're thirsty"
  • Gakungu
I believe it's a choice. Having a unique WHY assists one to make that choice.
  • FrankMarshman
I had just looked at episode 48 with Darren Haedy and was commenting on that. All of these are wonderful and worthy of study. I have 1/2 page of notes and will go back over the entire series once I have completed the series. If any of you are really serious this is a resource we cannot afford to pass up even if it is not on the screen of our organization. Having been in business and studied business for 40 years I know business is business. That this is not traditional does not make it less a business and each business has its own skills. These are amazing skills!
  • FrankMarshman
Since the purpose of this comment area is to glen the meat we find in any interview:
What I got most was "The personal development of the organization..." and (networkmarketing) is the one business if applied the resources of personal develoment will grow at an X factor level. Develop the person and he will grow the organization to the level he is at.
    WOW that is good stuff.
  • barryburgin77
PS.... I would like to know more about Harvey Mackay's father.
  • Find a way to give "Take Home Value".
    It's great to hear from a pre-emptive well-digger.
I'm guessing many are thirsty without wells and we're looking at a drought hoping for the rain.
    Start diggin'
    Start volunteering.
  • barryburgin77
OK. Now I find out out I need to go to the doctor more, have all my organs checked, volunteer regularly, I get it.....easy to do..easy not to do....It comes done to the slight edge once again. Eric...Could you explore the slight edge with Jeff olson in the near future?
  • Thanks Eric and Mr. Mackay. Cannot wait to hear the entire interview.
  • Imran Wali
"Someday I'm going to need a room someday in the world i'm going to need a room and I hope when I call you'll take care of me" Amazing!

  • danaylesworth
Harvey says you want to know why women live longer than men...and no slips out of Eric's mouth....Freudian slip...

He seemed so happy to have the microphone for a bit, like us all! I'm sure he appreciated it..
  • racingworm
Nothing happens by accident. We make who we are. Knowing the right people is crucial to not only your business, but also your lifestyle.
  • Earl
I need to hear that concept again and again as a great reminder! "Dig your well before you are thirsty!" It's the mind set of being prepared when you are not desperate, so you don't become desperate!
  • maybe my boyfriend will take his advice and go to the doctor :), he won't listen to me! I'm currently digging my well and not thirsty....but realize the importance of doing so
  • More great advise. When I think back on how many people that I been in contact with thru out my life so far it realy is amazing. I forgot that I had in some way come in contact with these people. Great interview.
  • Jeroen Lingier

  • Hi Eric and Harvey! I just wanna jump up and down like a little girl, these tips are so exciting! Thank you! / Linda, Sweden
  • More great advice from Dad and what a great story on what it takes to build a network. Not much has changed in Network Marketing, your "net worth" is equal to your "network".

Dig your well before you're thirsty - such great advice.
  • Pete
...and I always thought men died earlier than women because they wanted to. Goes to show you can't believe everything you hear.
  • quincy
Its just simple networking. Getting your name out there meeting as many people as possible without any expectation of anything in return. Networking doing what you would normally do. Mr. Mackay networked through golfing. And know that these people may not be for today but sometime in the future.
  • Harvey, such a nice guy, down-to-earth, enjoyable and informational. Great ideas.
  • gkamlm
Great bunch of tips for networking yourself well in the business world.
  • janetrajala
Talk about foresight and planning ahead; Harvey Mackay had so much wisdom at a young age. His father taught him well. This is another great segment in this fabulous interview.
  • I can't get enough of Harvey :). Ever since i read his book... I gotta go call me some Dr.s!
  • mspaulamc
digging those wells ... anticipation of filling them .. awesome message :)
  • Bjorgli
    Incredible. So much to learn.
  • So, he spent 5 years networking for NO financial gain in order to put himself in position to win ... amazing lesson - thanks Eric. Truly a difference maker that most people are unwilling to do ...

    Best,
    Scott
  • JenniferDu79
This is definitely an area of improvement for me. I meet people and think they would be great but sometimes don't act. I can't continue in that manner or at my next meeting that person will be there but sponsored under someone else. All because I didn't speak to them and follow through.
  • carybennett
great stuff Eric , keep em coming, Looking forward to the whole one this weekend
  • ybimbalanced
Dig the Well befor you are thirsty, networking and asking "What can I do for you" take care of this concept. Thank you, can't wait to watch the interview in it's entirety.
  • Kjell Englund
Amazing serie of interviews, time to go back and look at them all again.
  • brianhepner
Doctors are the most important people because Health is the most important thing.
  • Awesome information! I'm going to pass this entire interview out to my team....
  • brigittapatel
    A lot to learn here.
What comes to my mind is the title of his book:" Dig the well before you are thirsty."

    Thanks a million.
  • Seek and you will find, ask and it will be given, knock and the door will open... action, action, action... netWORKing, netWORKing, netWORKing... like on purpose...
  • Great lessons Eric! It sounds like Harvey built a strong foundation through his networking, so that he was able to build a large business with those relationships.
  • Mr. Mackay is very impressive. I’d only barley heard of him prior to this interview. Looking forward to complete uncut interview.
  • Networking on purpose, what a great concept! I have learned so much so far, can't wait until tomorrow!
  • Denise Cox
    loving this series!
  • Nancy Eldred
    What an adventurous life !!

HARVEY MACKAY - The Movie - I'm thinking ANTHONY HOPKINS to play his dad, and ROBERT DOWNEY JR. to play Harvey Mackay

Good jumpstart for a Thursday before hitting the street.
Live with purpose, network like a champ.
  • BRAVO Mr. MacKay!
Thank you for the tips and thank you for promoting us women as "life-long Earners" even though you didn't say it that way. lol
  • dlinkhart
What a very far sighted man he is to start establishing such contacts at such at early age. His father taught him well.
  • Episode 40 of Eric Worre's 100 Episode Throw Down Challenge:

it wasn't very long ago that i ould have looked at your QOTD and said : Huh? but I get it and lately I have been very aware of how I market my company, products and comp plan... So to make a short answer long.. YES I am (most of the time). I still am developing my skills as a professional so I am still not as consistent as i need to be. Great content this week. The star power of t his weeks episodes is blinding.

    GREAT INTERVIEW!
  • lauralopez
The most things that I like it about networkmarketing is that I improve a lot my personal development.
So this help me to work with myself first and inspire people around me.

  • Consciously deciding and then doing. Thanks, Eric & Harvey
  • I have started to network on purpose and it is the coolest thing! You can't know the value of it until you do it...because it's going to yield different results for everyone. In the immortal words of Nike..."Just do it!"
  • PaulineP
Listening to this piece is invaluable. I know of many to share this with.
  • Mark_Abrahams_UK
Everything I do is on purpose, including networking and marketing. It is all about the way I think.

I have loved the personal development and, though it is for others to say, I reckon that my giving approach to life and people has enhanced my networking skills.
This way of being has certainly improved my networking experience. Though I could change me, I don’t want to be any other way or do things that may defeat my values.

Over my life and around the world, I have met many people.
The secret, I missed along the way, was that I didn’t make a full note (unlike Harvey) of all these people and I depend much upon my memory to maintain or renew connections.

And yes, someday I may need these lawyers, bankers and doctors I have met up with, ...and someday (I’d like to think) they may need me. We all need to dream on, capturing that burning desire and ambition.

It’s good to think that, in UK, the NHS still looks after the UK population the way it does. I hope the US moves to improve the way citizens are cared for – at all levels. Yet even more relevant is that PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE. We have that better way that can give people the choice of wealth and health - we just need to go tell them.

As for women then, as consumers, they are worth more than men – because they live longer than us men.

    More great food for thought.

    Thanks again Eric
  • denisekay
    Remarkable! Live with Purpose.
  • chriskemp817
Everywhere you go you want to meet people who not only can help you down the road but you can also help them too. Powerful stuff!
  • Full of nuggets. Just listening to him. Health and Wealth.
  • germanjaramillo
Well....Yes!!! I'm doing my business with a great conscious purpose. And...i took the line of my upline system to do that.

By the other way, i learn againg with this interview today. The best thing i learned today was about to meet the people who will be in our business team in the future. That will help me to grow faster.

    Have a great day.

Such a great segment. What an exceptional human being.
Dig your well before your thirsty. What a great philosophy.
  • gillym1
Thanks Eric - the Gold just keeps on pouring forth!
    Amazing!
  • This is so powerful because this shows that Networking is one of the oldest professions in the world, and it's applicable in many areas--not just Network Marketing. What I learned...

Your Network is your Net Worth.

These are the kinds of networks that Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki has. I always have thought that it was something that was pretty quick. Well, for some, they do build businesses really quit. However, to achieve a network like the one discussed here takes time and patience.
  • talya_mitzafon
Listening to Harvey I came to a great insight: Networkmarketing is not only a great profession, it is a great way of living your life!
  • garyparmenter
Develope good relationships with the leaders of your civil and business community. No doubt someday you need their help. Don't try to be something your not. But show a willingness to do what you can. Plan for the future! All great advice!

  • Dave s
wow, Harvey defines the power of networking. The good news for everyone is that it is never too late to hone our networking skills.
  • Listening to Harvey I realised I had dug my well before I was 30 but then lost ita gain at 40. Now I'm re-digging and am grateful for a reminder of all the things I'm to do.

This is such great advice to everyone below 30. Just do it now.
  • mbryant
This is the most valuabe interview I've seen yet. Can't wait for the full, uncut version. It's a keeper. I'll be teaching my 14-year old son this stuff.

I could listen to him all day long. (Has nothing to do with the salute to women!!!) I like the saying of networking "on purpose". That makes alot of sense.

thanks for you comment! Would you think this is appropriate business building in all compansation plans (like a stairstep breakaway like i am)? Is this the actual way you build your business?

Hope their coming some extra comments from experienced pro's on this subject!
  • Thanks for the contribution. Dale's training is top-notch, and these videos in particular are the real deal. Much better to build fewer lines DEEP than to build across your front-line and have no depth (security).

As the saying goes, Width for Show -- Depth for Dough!

    Best to you,
    Scott
  • Building in your community, great advice
  • Yes! I'm networking on purpose and living on purpose, too!
And this show is sooo much value.
  • Foord Yates
And Eric, indulge me, what brand and model is that watch you're wearing?

    Foord Yates.
  • Foord Yates
More gems from the Master! Great segment!

But really - healthcare - women make 100 million more pitstops at the doctors office than men do, for only an extra year of life expectancy? THey spent that extra year sitting in the waiting room at the doctors office!

Great messages in this whole interview. Network Marketing Pro is such a treasure trove of fabulous content to help guide, inform and stimulate our thinking to help us aspire to the very best we can be in this profession. I will look forward to reading some of Harvey MacKay's books.

He helps me to look at networking in a new light. Get to know people of influence.
  • Creatively and purposely network to reach influential people in professional fields, business, and politics. Dig a well before you’re thirsty. In other words, lay the groundwork in advance for what you’ll find helpful in the future.
