  • JenniferDu79
Wow, where do i start? there are so many key points this is defiantly one to watch more than once. Love the point about being addicted to helplessness. Fasten your seat belts ladies and gentlemen there is going to be turbulence. Listening to Lester makes me want to sign up for this business all over again.
  • till catching up....going to skip ahead to the Complete & Unedited version....but wanted to make sure my comment was counted! ;-)
  • Man, if half the people in my team would have 5% of the passion that Les has....
  • happyhealthybob
Les is a great speaker. He has such a presence.
  • Elaine Baril

What a man Les Brown is.
  • Ngoc Tran
If you say yes to your dream - What can I say is I LOVE IT! You're so amazing, Les!
  • How people live their lives is the result of the story they belive in about themselves.

This is a crunchy yummy shlerp mmmmmmm piece of an interview. I like to take notes, but they just come up too fast in Les's words.

    Thanks guys*

    NOTES:
All these examples... we can use that and tell it to other people. Not only are they great story tellers, but there comes a moment when they've had it!
I've had it of living and playing small. People are not only looking for information... personality and passion.
That's what people want. The difference between being in this business or the business being in you. Passion for the industry, for the product.
Fasten your psychological seat belts. You don't want to convince people into the business: person convinced against their will are of the same oppinion still.
5 reasons why you won't give up. The reasons will make you get up.
What's possible for one, it's possible for all. You gotta have a gameplan and persist until you succeed.
The dryspell after the initial fun. You're going from powerlessness and weakness to owning your life.
MLM - cooperation and colaboration to help everybody win.
The story will help people to be aware of powerlessness. The story: distract, dispute and inspire.
How people live their lives is the result of the story they belive in about themselves.
Distract them from their story and become a pencil in a page of the blank book of God.
Quotes - 3rd party validation about the facts.
Get a coach to help you understand this and practice. Mike Williams... Les you can be more. We're all born in the same way: dumb, naked and speechless. You can learn.
The way he spoke to me... he created a thirst.
  • meagankellytorres
I'm speechless. What an awesome interview. I wish I was there!

"Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor has it entered the heart of mankind what God has in store for you if you say 'yes' to your dream and 'yes' to the opportunity that the Multi-Level Marketing industry can afford YOU!" - Les Brown
    Classic!
  • jeanalbert
The story you tell must distract, dispute, and inspire your target audience. It must get them to stop believing their own internal story about themselves that keeps them in the mode of powerlessness.
  • robbinsaturniewicz
wow..taking a lot of notes! great speaker. I've heard Les Brown before. Has he been on a previous show?

"You can't see the picture when you are in the frame". What a wonderful interview.

From Puebla Mexico, I am Sergio Quintana, MLM Pro.

  • Agneta Rebo
    It´s getting better and better
  • juanfernandogutierrez

  • reeseypb
Les Brown is a dynamic speaker. This was awesome!
  • brianhepner
Gain knowledge of your why and that will pull you through.
  • If you don't have your own story yet, use other people stories!
Fasten your philological seatbelt from negativity which comes from friends, family members and other people! :D
    1. Write down five reasons on why you won't give up.
    2. Five reasons why you will stick in the game.
    3. Possible, Necessary.
    4. Practice your story.

  • gkamlm
We're all told how important the why is and he puts it out there so well by saying "If you know the why for living or doing something, you can tolerate any how.
  • pech
Incredibly valuable information in such a short time.
  • cmattern
Les Brown has phenomonal insights, yet states them in a way that are entirely and easily understood. Getting peple to stop listening to their own storie. Love it!
  • mspaulamc
Les reveals one of the great secrets of success in MLM ..

In order to succeed, you have to have a passion for people .. :) I don't believe that is something you can train .. it is a character trait.

These interviews with Les Brown could be used in a college course on becoming a Network Marketing Pro .. wow... I can't get enough!!!

Thank you gentlemen .. BIG fan of you both!

  • Is there more to life than what you are living? Have you reached the point where you're saying 'I've had it'? Les' point is well taken. If people are comfortable with where they are, then there is no reason for them to step into our business. We are looking for those that are looking, too. Most people are content with allowing others to control their future. How about you? Are you willing to settle for the life that your employer has in mind for you? Who really controls your future?

Les is a master at telling stories, and I could listen to him tell stories all day long! He is the master at interrupting the story in people's heads. And that is an excellent skill for us to learn. How much more effective can we be if we can learn to share our passion and beliefs through stories? As Les said, as a community of achievers we must cooperate and collaborate to help everyone win. What you don't know, you can learn. Thanks Les!
  • Pepeneto
"What we have in Multilevel Marketing is cooperation and colaboration; people working together in a community of achievers to help everybody win, and that's a exciting thing"...Great reflexion. Thank you
  • Ria Leermakers
I like this one: can't see the picture whe you're in the frame. Got to think about it.
  • jacob stiner
    Hey Eric
    Amazing ! amazing ! amazing !!! thanks
  • orlyalbo
People have developed "an addiction to powerlessness". i like it.
  • timandtricia
There are so many gems in these interviews it's hard to find favorites. Inspirational is the perfect word to describe the experience.
  • Bernadette
Les Brown is such a great inspiration. I will go back to this interview again and again when I need a boost. thank you.
  • karivankleef
Wow, Les Brown is a master story teller.
  • I have to watch this over and over to take it allllll in... Les Brown is great!
  • crwood1967
Isn't that how most of us feel at our job... like we are beaten down day after day? I know that's what I have been feeling. 1) no boss 2) no boss, 3) no boss, 4) no boss and 5) you guessed it NO BOSS. LOL That is so true to have reasons, a plan and a story.
  • fc34615
One of the best videos that I have ever seen. Thanks, Eric. I need to meet this guy.
  • kgadol
Personality and passion ... chosen for this line of work! Belief!!! In the industry, the company, the product, and myself!!! Turbulance - I love it. Being selective, absolutely!! Want more rather than need more ... wow. .... Stick a fork in it. It's done. :) .... an addiction to powerlessness! Amen!! I am a integral part of a community of achievers. ... born dumb, naked and speechless - we can learn. I love it.
  • jean_albert
WOW!! Talk about nuggets! Each mini-segment is loaded with knowledge that we can apply in our own lives. What a terrific teacher/coach Les is.
  • Earl
Love it! The stories are great information! I have had it "playing it small", I am starting to "play it large"! My seat belt is on tight! doing the five reasons NOW. Thanks again!
  • beckydesabah
    what a great interview!
    he is just amazing!
  • Eric, I could not get Disqus to load last night. What a great lessons that show had in it. What's possible for one is possible for all. How much clearer a statement could there be for success? Les has a powerful way to say things and I can feel his words. "an addiction to powerlessness boy do I recognize that one. Well now its on to today's show.
  • smreed
Les said it so well...people being addicted to powerlessness and from childhood we were all trained to be this way. We all "had enough" of that way of life and can show those still trapped in powerlessness that are seeking other options the "Better way" we have ;) Thank you Les Brown and Eric!!! My favourite interview to date! ;)
  • randyhendrickson
As Eric said at the last of this one I Love It
  • tambry
Story telling distracts disputes and inspires. 500 people will back away from their story to change the page in their life and inspire them to write a new chapter in their life. What’s possible for one is possible for all.
  • Ellis3
Wow!!!! I am going to replay this over and over and over again!!!
  • bethascoli
I'm scribbling down notes, this is amazing. My favorite line: People have developed "an addiction to powerlessness." It's true, people are so addicted that when they see something that could help them, they don't even want to believe it sometimes. It's easier to stay a victim than to think that they could try something else.

There are so many great stories and lessons here, and I love when he says to help someone become "a pencil in the hand of God," such beautiful poetry! I could listen all day.
  • I listened once and my brain went boom! I listen again and I knew I had to listen again.... I want to listen to Mr Harvay again... So much love!!! I guess I'll be busy, this weekend, catching up on all this information...Wow!!
  • jlt0wn
He has so many quotable phrases. Here are a few that I liked
"Going where I'm celebrated leaving where I'm tolerated"
"Person convinced against their will is of the same opinion still"
"If you are casual about your dream you will end up a causality" - Bill Bailey

"When life knocks you down try to land on your back because if you can look up, you can get up"
    His delivery was right on.
  • Shovers
3 pages of notes later. Time to get my story together utilizing this information! Powerful!
  • martinvf
    "I'd had it!!!"
    "I'm celebrating rather than tolerating"
"Personality and passion is what people looks"
    "Fasten your psycological sitbelts"
"You want people who want more, no people who need more"
"5 reasons to stick in the game"
"Addiction to powerlessness" ... wow!!! that really hit me.

    I like this guy =o)

    Saludos from Aguascalientes, México.

#254 - Les Brown Interview - 3 of 4 - Les Brown is amazing. I don't think I have ever heard a person have such a quick mind and at the same time have so much to say. I love it. He talked about the addiction to powerlessness. What a concept. I have to say Les Brown is now one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing.
  • All I can say is wow... That's the kind of energy and passion that we all need. And...that's what we need to get through the "turbulence."
  • travelprohawaii

  • chocolatelifesaver
What a great group of stories from a master story teller. Thanks Eric as always you amaze me by how openly you share the secrets to all that want to know them. I cannot dispute on how someone could be successful if they just LISTEN.
  • pollyhulseman
Eric - I am with you - I could listen to Les all day!
  • Great stuff! Les is quite a personality.
  • seija
    Fasten your seat belt!
  • PaulineP
Identifying with values and experices and helping others get through theirs.
  • KeithN
People are looking for personality and passion. Are you in this business, or is the business in you? Your people have to know success won't be easy, but they have to believe it's possible. What's possible for one, is possible for all. We are in an era of accelerated change, overwhelming complexity, and tremendous competition. Network Marketing provides an environment of cooperation and collaboration. Our story can distract, dispute, and inspire others to change their belief about themselves.
  • chocolatelifesaver
What a great summary. You are there Keith!
  • rayrios
this is an Ah ha moment interview
  • Does frequent online video watching wear out the video quality??? :-) Awesome and incredibly inspirational!
    Now on to full interview!
  • Simon_and_Lia_NL
This part is amazing... all reasons on "no's" are answered in one line
    'addicted to powerlessness'

'being in this business or this business being in you!' yes, there is a difference!!
'easy is not an option, you will experience some turbulance in reaching your destiny'
'look for people who want more, not people who need more...'
'it is hard, but it is worth it!!'
addicted to powerlessness ? for sure we have a better way!
  • Maxwellhealth
The Volunteer Victim.....indeed what a powerful phrase to work into YOUR STORY....
  • barryburgin77
Addiction to powerlessness. For many people, me included, who have had certain things "ingrained" in their brain over the many years, this is difficult to explain............. You have certain feelings that are familiar and one might have the need to go to these feelings or let these feelings in, even tho they are uncomfortable feelings, they are FAMILIAR feelings. I guess you could say an "addiction to familiar but unhealthy feelings" leading to powerlessness. Anyway, its a struggle sometimes.
  • 3 major pointers for me today:

Addiction to powerlessness. this says so much about so many people who don't even realise that they are addicted.

Personality, Passion and "This busines being IN you"

Somebody's belief in you until you have sufficient belief in yourself.

    Thanks again.
  • jlconner
What a great story teller. This is one of the best interviews you have had. I will watch these over and over. Fasten your psychological seat belt. Thanks Eric.
  • germarl
    Wow !!
  • Guys, have you noticed one thing all theese top earners have in common? How simple and easy they explain the mechanics of this business? KISS :)
  • Les's smile and laugh are contagious. I can see why he has done so well networking!
  • mariasiro
Amazing how you both are inspiring me. thanks
  • ronaldvandomburg
it's all about relationships. i like that one very much. i have never had much notion of relationships, till i realized how important it is
  • Mailen
Les Brown is fabulous. I got so inspired.
    Thank you both.
  • marvalouslife1
    Wow, what an inspiring person.

    Thank you, Eric.

    Ron
  • Les Brown is full of so much good "stuff", including ...
Would you rather work where you’re celebrated or work where you’re tolerated?
People want to see personality and passion in an enroller. They can see if “You’re just in the business” or if “The business is in you.” You want people who want more, not people who need more. Many people are addicted to powerlessness; those people will say “No” to your business.

    Time for a smile:
Did you hear that NASA recently put a bunch of Holstein cows into low earth orbit? They called it the herd shot round the world.
  • I love all the quotes in this interview. It reminds me of watching my favorite movies and all of the great lines that I remember afterward. My favorite one from this interview is "an addiction to powerlessness."
  • What a Rockstar!
  • Phenomenal! Extraordinary lessons from an extraordinary man. Absolutely the best interview series I've seen
  • "Say yes to your dream, yes to the opportunity that the network marketing industry can afford you." - Les Brown What a great attitude to portray to your potential associates. My wish for everyone in network marketing is we listen over and over and over to these segments. They are chocked full of wisdom, help, hints and all woven together in stories. I am in awe!
  • tomdoiron
    Hey Eric,

Am I in Network Marketing or is Network Marketing in me? What a great self-evaluating question. Thank you Mr. Brown.

    Wishing You Plenty To Live,
    Tom Doiron

  • Excellent nuggets of wisdom today.
This stood out for me, "How people live their lives is a result of the story they believe about themselves."
The truth in this is so deep and simple but not easy to understand. I totally agree with it and have seen it lived about in my life and the lives of many around me. I am thankful for great things like NMPRO to help me with my mindset training to continue pursuing my dreams and goals in my life no matter what.
    Thanks again.
    Make it a great day!
    God Bless,
    -ed

Im such a fan of Les Brown. I actually got a chance to meet him in New York City one day a few years ago. The way he puts his words together and his thoughts are amazing. you can tell he reads a lot and studies. Again love the message of storytelling and that everybody has a story whether we know it or not. I love the comparison of the takeoff in an airplane with the takeoff in your business. Have to go through some turbulence to finally get to that cruising altitude. Also all of us are born the same way....dumb, naked and speechless but we can learn. Powerful!!
  • bartonmurray
w(o)W!! great show, Les is great!!!
  • Wow, slow down . . . :)
That's a huge show. Will have to figure a way to get this series on my iPhone. It's going to take a few repeats to catch all this.
    Great stuff.
  • margarethockaday
Les Brown is something else. I can listen to him all day.
  • Denise Cox
holy mackeral! i had the BEST day today using these stories! thank you!!!
  • The way Les Brown phrases his thoughts is so impressive! He sees the very core of a problem.
I will remember this forever: when you start in mlm business fasten your psychological seatbelts because you may experience rejection, the "no's" and laughter from your friends and relatives, and that can make you give up.
  • latachia_2
Wow! Can you put him in a bottle & send him to me?
If your casual you'll be a casualty. You must have a game plan& be persistant.Peop;e are used to eing a volonteer vistim.Addiction to powerlessness.
technoligie has replaces lots of jobs that used to be(telephone operator ect)He even went into a schoo; that is paperless!
    Network marketing is cooperation& cilaberation.
Stories distract, dispute,& inspire. What's possible for one is possible for all.
  • I needed this today! Start from where you are... even (especially) if it's dumb, naked, and speechless.

    Thanks Eric and Les
  • keithraines
I'm going to need to watch this one several times
  • I love it too Eric... Awesome stuff.. Les Brown is amazing and I can listen to him all day and night!!
  • Foord Yates
    Heee Larrrr Eeee Ous!

    Foord Yates.
  • racingworm
I agree with him . I know I've had it and I am going to change the situation that I've let fester up for so long. After some of his examples and stories, how could anyone not want to just get out and do it.
  • HoracioMejia
This is another show not only to watch, but to study. I filled out one complete page of notes just from this episode. Addiction to powerlessness. I will study this phenomenon deeper. Another thing that shook me: "You want people who want more, not people who need more". Different things. I have been looking for people who needs more!
  • CarlosVera
Where does he get all this from???!!!!! It's amazing how his lessons flow so naturally out of his mouth as if he rehearsed his speech, and it's so inspiring to see how much he enjoys himself while sharing all his wisdom with all of us.

Eric and Les, I can't thank you enough for this memorable experience.

    Greetings from Paraguay!

    Greetings from Paraguay!

I will have to listen again to soak it all in! Awesome stuff! I loved his statement that we need to go where we are celebrated rather than tolerated. We have one life to live. Why would we want to waste it being where we are only tolerated? That is not what God created me to do. I also thought the concept that most people have an addiction to powerlessness. How true is that!
  • SJ Doug
    I love it too!
  • This is great, I agree with you that this is the best one yet. I'm learning so much.
  • debbybeachy
    Amen Amen and Amen!

I'm amazed of all I've heard until today thru this interview.
And what I've learned today is when you decide this is the moment for you to be in this business, to become an entrepreneur, to live a different life you are going to stop living and play small, you will find out the passion to talk to people because you believe in all your dreams.

When you decide MLM is for you, fast your psychological seatbelt to avoid the rejection, the "no's" and the "laughters" that can make you to give up. Write down 5 reasons that will help you back on the game again.

I have proven that people is addicted to powerlessness, most of them like doing the same, earning the same =S they are just in their comfortable zone... people don't show up at the events, people don't keep their word, their mind are stucked.

But that's why we are here, to show them up there are better opportunities to grow up, to be healthier, to have a better personal development, to receive a better income, etc.

And that's why I like MLM business, because here we work as a cooperative team, we colaborate with each other and help everybody to win. We have to practice our story, get some coaching and learn how to communicate to people, so they can see something in us, belief, passion, power, responsibility, etc.

Thanks Eric and give our thanks to Less Brown for all these amazing words.
    Hugs from Mexico

  • Mark_Abrahams_UK
Another superb extract from this interview.

It's interesting to see just how much Les connects with his audince - us - when he delivers to camera (as does Eric). Using the comunication medium like this is a real talent.

What Les actually says is wonderful - great advice and faming. Yet it is the way Les does it that I love - a fine example of it's more about you, the sponsor, than it is about what you say.

I have, of course, taken notes from this interview.

I also really apprecatie Eric posting these bitesize segmants, so that, each day, we can build and learn from the best.

Awesome stuff. I AM A FAN. I LOVE IT!

    Thanks again Eric
  • neasa fitzpatrick ireland
Eric, what a gem of a speaker. You are right you could listen to him all day. Thanks for sharing.
  • dougharkins
So many memorable one liners, all orchestrated into a story to move them away from their back against a wall. Love it!!
  • "Look for people that want more not that need more". Important distinction. Than tell a story to help them come to that deciding moment in their life where they really get passionate about change. And get them ready for the take off. A lot of turbulence in the beginning but then the ride gets smooth. Great interview, but aren't they all. Thanks Eric and Les.
  • raybeattie
Wow it just does not get any better than this, for a learning experience.
  • OHHHh WOWOW ! I love listening to this guy. What a great interview. I have listened to this twice and will again. I am blogging like crazy. I agree this is your BEST yet!!
  • Best homework recommendation in this interview: 5 reasons why I stick in the game.
Best concept: 'are you in the business, or, is the business in you?"
Best tip: " Believe in soneone else's belief in you, until your belief in you kicks in."
It's possible, It's necessary, I'm going to make it!
  • talya_mitzafon
The story and the story behind the story The story and the story behind the story -great lesson!
  • gloriavintila
I bookmarked this interview and will definitely use it as a milestone in my learning and pitching process. In this episode, I was mostly impressed by the notion of addiction to powerlessness. Well, it's not only people who are still in the so-called rat-race who have developed that addiction. It's also network marketers saying: "I cannot make it because my sponsor doesn't support me" or because "the compensation plan of my company does not alow me to grow enough" or because "I live in a country where network marketing doesn't work" etc. I am talking from experience now. I acted like this for quite a while. Addiction to powerlessness is... well... powerful, but our goals, our reasons must not be defeated by it.
  • I'm going to have to come back to this a few times to suck the marrow out of it - starting by writing notes - there's so much content here both in words and style and I haven't started my homework of reading Harvey Mackay yet! Just received "Dig Your Well..." today and "The Magic of Thinking Big" and have got a few more books to come. Need to really push the envelope now and get reading whilst juggling all the other commitments - including learning how to prospect and invite, close, present, maintain a never ending list - did I miss anything?
  • ericworre
Yeah! Go sell something and go sign someone up! :) Hahaha
  • What a great story...."I've had it..."I'm going were I'm celebrated not tolerated", "It is possible", "It is necessary", "I am not addicted to powerlessness...", and "I will persist until I succeed" ! ! !

  • I can see why you like this interview so much. He's a real treat. I like the quote about you not having to believe in yourself, believe in my belief in you. That is powerful and it creates belief!
  • karenandian
We are in AWE!!! Les Brown has such an ability to share soooooo much knowledge and skill. Thank you for sharing it with us. Thank you Eric for making this POSSIBLE. To quote someone - we know you know who it is-" whats possible for one is possible for all"" We love it!
  • wow... should I thank first Les for his words & thoughts... or Eric for creating this platform of abundance.
This is 21st century "sharing best demonstrated practices"!
And I'm glad to be part of it.

  • anthonyviglietta
Eric. You and Les should create a generic audio CD or DVD for the network marketing industry. Brilliant.
  • Lisette
    "Personality and passion"
"The difference of being in this business and this business being in you"
"You want people who want moore, not people who need moore"

    Waiting for the rest.........
  • ybimbalanced
Les is absolutely mesmerizing. I love the stories he is telling, and yes, I'm using them. Thanks so muc, I really am looking forward to watching the entire interview again.
  • InspiredDeb
Les, you are killing it!! Absolutely riveted here throughout your video series. I am hanging off every word ...and my reactions are mirrored in Eric's enthusiastic response to you.

You touched on something that I speak about in relationship to making your dreams come true. I call it the "Y" factor...or rather, the "WHY" factor. Once you know WHAT you want, then you must know WHY you want it. The strength of your WHY will create the emotional pull to get you through the turbulence and obstacles. And make no mistake about it, the obstacles will show up. So will the fear. But your WHY will create the emotional fuel to pull your through. Emotion is the fuel of all motivation.

I encourage everyone listening to follow Les' advice and immediately create 5 reason why you will stay with the game. Because as the incomparable Les Brown would say: "If you can look up you can get up!"

    Kudos Les, Kudos Eric!!
  • Bob Ward
I've been a Les Brown fan for many years. He's a fantastic example of overcoming life's most difficult hurdles!

Les Brown has got the JUICE!

    Short story:

Today I came back with a vengeance to rectify the huge mistake I described yesterday.
Talked to another prospect who contacted me from my add on the web.
22 yo male working in a supermarket.
He's into sales big time and wants to take it further.
I sent him a link to our online information and he rewieved that.
Today we spoke on the phone again and he told me that he had not enticipated that he would have to pay for the sales kit. He understood and accepted the commission only concept (which is what I wrote) and understood and liked the NM concept.
I said: "Well, it's common to have to invest some money when you go into business for yourself. This amount is very small compared to almost any other upstart."
He had slightly misunderstood the text in the add. In Danish selfemployed and selfmanaged (as an employee) can be the same word.
Anyway, I agreed the wording could be interpreted as he did.
Then I left the subject and told him my story.
"One day I just got fed up with my "good job" for a big family owned company. I was busting my behind to make someone else richer - and they wouldn't pay me more!"
"I started building a business where I get rewarded directly and instantly every time I make a result."
"For you this is an opportunity to begin building a future of financial independance, if you so wish, or some very nice spending money to come your way every week for the rest of your life."

He's now looking closer at our information and we will talk tomorrow again.

By the way, a quick note. I could have just left him when he told me that he found our business system interesting but it was not what he had been looking for.
I asked him: "So it wasn't what you were looking for, but you found it interesting. Just out of curiosity, what was it about our information you found interesting? What appealed to you?" And why is it that, despite the fact that you find it interesting you do not want to know more?" "I'm not judging you, I just ask for my own education."

That's how we got to talk for a half hour and he wanted more information in the end.

I write this to memorize it. I have this flaw that I hate planning out things and practising. I LOVE to wing it. And sometimes I crash and burn! I hope this way It will stick and come back to me next time I get the chance.

Man! I look so much forward to being good at this business!
I want to be like Eric, where I have knowledge and experience worth sharing. Something to pass on to the next generation. I'm in awe of the work Eric puts into this site!
I can only imagine how much thinking and planning it takes.

Please everybody write a BIG thank you to Eric in your next post!

Thanks Eric, I hope to meet you in person and shake your hand and thank you someday.
  • karenandian
Little do you know - you are sharing knowledge and experience. With your story above! It will serve as a reminder to hundred (maybe thousands), when they have a similar situation! Thank you!!
Our wish is also to meet Eric and shake his hand. He is an amazing person and you are right - the thought and planning must be enormous!! Thank you for sharing your story.
  • It gets better and better.............. Unbelievable!
  • travelprohawaii
OMG. I thank you for this interview. I needed it!

We all can sit in our homes, and look what we get Les Brown one on one FREE.
Thank you for your time Eric
  • carolmcwilliams
All I can say is that I will listen to this entire uncut version over and over so I can fully absorb and integrate his message so it becomes my own. This is so powerful and can't even put into words all brillance that he is sharing here. After listening to so many of these segments over this past almost year, I notice that what Les has been able to do is create a feeling inside myself that makes me feel inspired. It not intellectual info but a response inside myself that on a gut level that I remember most. This is what I want to create in others, a FEELING that draws them to me. This is what all great NM have in common. A passion and personality. So now I want to work on developing these 2 qualities.

    Thanks Eric
  • brigittapatel
Awesome!!! I need to listen to it at least another 50 times or more to get it.

    Thanks a million
  • coltsco
I agree with you...I could listen to him all day. His pearls of wisdom don't stop.
  • Paco_Carreno
Ok... I think I have one of my favorite chapters of NMP... This is amazining!

  • I love this one. This is so so so so so so so so so so so so so sooooooooooooooo good. I just posted it on Facebook to my 5,000 followers. Unbelievably, insanely the best video I have seen in Months. Thank you so much Eric for all that you do. You rock! Les, you are amazing!

  • nicoleatdunwich
When is Les Browne coming to Australia? You have just been here, Eric. It was not that bad down-under was it? Please tell Les that we are waiting for him and congratulations on such a great program and company. I am definitely in the process of going Pro.
  • dstfa96
Les Brown delivered another great story about Mike...what is possible for one is possible for all....I know I can do this!!!!

There was so much phenomenal information shared by Les Brown in this interview...I loved when Les talked about us having to fasten our psychological seatbelt because we will get laughed at and ridiculed by family members and friends but eventually things will settle down and the laugther and ridicule will come to an end...that was some great advice!!!

When Les was talked about the majority of people have developed an addiction to powerlessness and that's why the majority of people that we share our opportunity with will say no...that was such an eye opener and it makes so much sense. People are so use to being told what to do and they are comfortable with it and when you offer them an opportunity to be in control of their financial future that is outside of their comfort zone so they prefer to stick with what they know.

I also loved when Les talked about what we have in network marketing is cooperation and collaboration of people working together in a community of achievers to help everybody win. That is what makes our profession of network marketing so awesome everybody can win...its not just about one person winning or a few people winning..the focus is for everybody to win and I love that!!
  • agelfederico

I agree with the guy who says he wants to hear it a hundred times until it is just simply a part of who we are and is engraved in my mind and psychic. Great!!
  • Les Brown is simply AMAZING! He describes best what it´s all about: Personality and Passion - to be in the business, and let the business be in you.

"Fasten Your Psychological Seatbelts!" - let´s all go on a wonderful journey with this Profession.
  • MarvinTowler

Here we go again with another amazing segment with Les Brown. Oh to have his power to be able to paint the word pictures he does. What an inspiration. Les is my favorite interview of all the interviews you have brought to us. Thanks! Also love the laughter you two share between you.
  • Bryan_in_KC
I emphatically agree with all the comments made and it would be redundant to echo them, but they are worthy of echo, so.... I agree ....agree....agree....agre...agr...ag..a......
  • Addiction to powerlesses! WOW! Les Brown is just amazing! I always felt that when I introduce people to my opportunity,am giving them a gift. Its the kind of gift that will bring out the greatness within them!

  • TAbrams
Wow, What an interview.. Powerful!! My seat belt is fastened and nothing is going to knock me out of the game.

The way Mr Brown paints the picture through his words is tremendously powerful.

Love the "Addiction to Powerlessness" and his example of how we help others relating to our stories... You are as "Mother Teresa would say a Pencil in the hand of God to help others write a new chapter in their lives".

Can't wait for part 4... I have watched each episode from Les Brown a few times and it taking me 3 times as long to watch each one as I am writing down and trying to absorb more and more with each rewind :)

When I first heard Les Brown speak at a convention, I was mesmorized. His approach is wonderful and I love how he looks in the camera and it feels as if he was speaking to me only. Eric, you were right, this is a powerful segment that teaches so much in such a short time frame. I am H U N G R Y! Thank you for what you do. :)

We are all born the same: Dumb-Naked and Speechless --> Epic!
  • MattinJaxfl
Les is unbelievable. It is almost like he is reading a script his words are so well placed. When you define great communicator his picture must be there in the dictionary.
  • Arnold Thompson
I'm with you Eric, I could listen to him all day long. Simply Awesome!!!
  • alltheverybest
    Such fundamentals. Priceless. Thanks.
  • kgoren
Unbelievable!! I, too could listen to him for hours. Have never heard him before, but am so inspired by his stories. The eye opener for me today...addicted to powerlessness. And we keep going back for more, like trained puppies. We have to change and take control of our own lives.
  • oh man! I will have to listen to that one about a hundred time to study it and learn how he tells a story, this will be a great interview to watch again and again! wow! so much wisdom.
  • ritafulton

  • enrique62
    People believe their stories
  • peterburrows
Unlike Les, I am speechless !
That was about 2 hours worth in 11 minutes.
I will spend more than that sucking the gold from this edition.
'You cannot see the picture when you are in the frame'.
    Love it.
  • bryantkeefe
I just don't feel great about going to work today. When he talks about asking permission to take breaks, lunch and vacations I cry (feel the pain) for myself and many, many others out there. I can only do something today about me though. YUCK! I am not addicted to powerlessness but I sure am playing "small" right now. I am thinking about the story of how they train Elephants to stay put. They start with a big chain and end with thread. My job has become the thinnest of threads and yet there I go each day. Come on Bryant it is time to do something....anything...just do it today!
  • You can do it.
  • chriskemp817
Great segment! Addiction to Powerless! How many of us are guilty of this? This interview so far is my favorite I must say.
  • andreas papakostas
how to your respond? THe guy is awesome! thank you Eric, one of the best for sure!
  • artdlasvegas
Now, Les is a lot of fun to listen to. I love it!
  • Unbelievable!!!
Stories and decisive moment - I have it!
    2xP's - Personnality and Passion
    Being addicted to help others
    Really inspiring
  • billrogers
Remarkable! Definitely one of your best yet!(and you have had many)
How you tell the story keeps it so simple, retains ones interest, and creates such a bond.
  • krisic
I am definitely going to be watching this one over and over again. This was so powerful. He can see how much he cares about people he doesn't even know. If he's written books, I'm gonna be reading them. Thank you Eric for caring about my future even though you haven't met me yet. I do have a suggestion. On networkmarketingpro, would make a list of books you have read or recommend, plus the books of people you interview. THANKS!
  • Les always does the "best ever"
  • Well, here we have the answer.. =)
Right, people don't join the company, they join you! How you tell the story is more important than what you say....
One time they where beginners to, and they where dumb, naked and speechless...and if we will, we can to.
Just be willing to learn and be persistence
  • Jillian
I am blown away by this guy - I have no adjectives left to describe the overwhelming awesomeness of this segment. So much information - I will go through it minute my minute because the nuggets are too many to harvest right now.
  • Definitely one to come back to and play over and over again
  • Gilead Or
This episode leaves me speechless! The energy Les got and the conviction of his stories are second to none! The eloquence and speed of his talk leaves us all stunned. Truly - one of the Best Ever! Now with over 250 episodes most if not all - are out of this world and one can understand Eric's saying that in almost a year now since inception this venture grew Eric most, and also us Eric's students. Keep the momentum Eric - it pays off to you and ALL of US. Who doesn't want become a NM Pro now?!
  • Luis Gringras
Guauuu!!, to many excellent concepts together: Personality & passion, fasten your seat belt, 5 reason stick in the game, possible for one y possible fall all, game plan, persist until succeed. Journey from volunteer victim (weak) or addiction to powerless . Cooperation & Collaboration in MLM. Story believe about themselves, Distract Dispute & Inspire, I can´t can´t do some new, if he can do it I can do it, I am not ready change a page in my life, distraction to start a new new chapter in their life.
  • denisekay
Yes! i am a fan of Les Brown! Love it all! Hugs to you all.
  • Les is the poet pontificator! The MLM Rapper with a message of passion and promise! I will be watching this one over and over. No doubt he is right on about the personality and the passion. I have had many say to me they see the passion in me when I talk about the opportunity and the product since I became powerful and not powerless when I decided to entered the Network Marketing business last year.

Way to go Les! You are the best!
  • denagottlieb
Well, this guy is special! Absolutely lovable and smart. Witty and caring. Brilliant and real. So, so real.
This definitely is one of the best shows yet. I haven't seen part one and two yet but you said this one was a winner so I dove straight in. I'm going to have to go back and watch the other ones now.
BTW I found that I connected much more with who Les is than with Harvey Mackay. I couldn't identify with the whole "networking" thing about getting to know all the bankers and the doctors. Sounded too calculated and unnatural. Les Brown is an inspiration!!!

Thanks so much for this! I've been recommending this site to all the marketers I care about!
  • veronikakari
yes, I have noticed already rejection, I think people are kind of watchin you "how dare to try". I noticed a lot of people are definitely are not happy any more around me.
  • Once the current circumstances are worse than the fear of failure, success, rejection and appearing foolish people become unstoppable. HOW do I give up my addiction to powerlessness and reach "I have had it" quicker than waiting. Waiting is not a solution. Someday and tomorrow never come. The how is in language. What is it about human that has to get to rock bottom BEFORE they have had it? Are there ways to raise the bottom for yourself and for others? That falls under cooperation and collaboration and may be a skill to learn, master and teach.
  • Wow is right!! This is so jam packed with inspiration and great information my head is still spinning! But I love it!!! Gotta go and watch this again and again.

Thanks Eric and Les Brown - thank you for caring and sharing.
  • rasdaniels
WOW!!! Where do I start. I know, I'm going to go back and watch this over & over & over. I must rewrite the story in my head. I'll have a new story by days' end.
  • Hai
"Addiction to Powerless"... great wording! Les Brown can carry the tune of inspirational rhythm like no other... Love to hear him speak! Great guy.

  • Cee_G
Another packed session...and Eric, you are just "giddy" with excitement around Les! Fun to watch and great to learn from this "master". Love the line "A person convinced against his will is of the same belief still". I will be thinking about that all day....
  • People are used to "powerlessness".
They won't admit it thought and they'll laugh at you when you tell them that's what they're going through working at a regular job.
  • This is soo true... watch it and you will get some gems. The complete uncut will be the BEST.
  • tomlacey
    Personality and passion personified.
  • peterragg
"People have developed an addiction to powerlessness".
You have to be the driving force in your business.
We need to be selective in the people we want in out businesses.
I have not heard Les Brown speak before, all i can say is the man is a very gifted and inspirational speaker.
Every single one of your team members must watch this series of interviews and the one with Harvey Mackay, especially the dormant ones.
    Very kind regards
    Peter Ragg
  • I don't know if its Les Browns personality, style, eloquence of the spoken language, or if he's just an interesting type of guy. I was totally engaged, and waiting on every word that left his mouth. He's a very inspiring individual with a plethora of quotes and anecdotes. A true master of the communication method known as conversational talking.
Thanks Eric for introducing this personality into my life.
  • mbryant
Yep, Eric 0 you are correct. Can't even describe the beauty of Mr. Browns' uplifting words!
  • jeffreyhall
Believe is somebody's belief in you! what an awesome statement

What a great way to start my day. Believe in your dream despite the critics. Be the driving force.
My five reasons are: 1. tired of trading time for money, 2. help others realize their dreams, 3. to work with others who love their jobs,4. financial freedom, 5. long walks on the beach.

What an interview. "If it's possible for one it's possible for all." Les is such an inspiration.

Wauw, Les, this is a waterfall of good advice!
He's a mentor with passion in overdrive.
Even if it was just for his smile and the fun he has in doing his thing, it would motivate me :-)

So much value. This interview clarifies so much for me and gives me a lot to think about.
And how true it is that we are all born dumb, naked and speechless. What some of us have to figure out is at what age we were expected to stop learning?
  • Alfie
People want personality and passion, not information.

    Fasten your psychological seatbelt.

You've got to be the driving force.
You have to have "5 Reasons Why You Will Stick In The Game".

If you can look up, you can get up.

It's possible. What's possible for one, it's possible for all.
It's necessary. Have a game plan. I will persist until I succeed.

Get a coach. You can't see the picture when you're in frame.

All of us are born the same way, damn naked and speechless.

Sometimes you have to believe in somebody's belief in you until that belief kicks in.

I really love watching/listening to Les Brown, I feel the power of his words which makes me dream again, and feel that I am somebody, I am powerful, I am rich. I can be anybody.

    I'm really inspired by this!

Yes Dexter Yager, a legend in NM. He made a system called the Yager system. Do anyone know where to find that system ? I`ve tried to find it and it`s almost like searching for a lost treasure. Have anyone seen it ? Is is any good ? I would love to have a look at it :)

Yes fasten your seatbelts :) Great way to see it :)

What a person Mr Brown is. I`m impressed...

DY's system WAS tapes, books and meetings, 100% product use + edify everything. Work with the workers and counsel regularly with support team.. I am talking 15 years ago now so no idea whether that is still right today. I guess maybe not tapes any more!! Still a solid philosophy imho.

Ok, thank you for the information :)
