Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!!! Mr Les Brown.
  • Jonathan
Definitely a man that has a way with words and is all about storytelling but challenging and motivating all of us in so many ways. Job well done Les Brown. :)
  • aliceflanders
The sad part is people that you are exposed to constantly who do NOT take his view.
  • wealthandriches
Stories are so powerful. Being able to share a story really helps people relate to what your point is. It's one of the reason Jesus told stories. People could relate and see themselves in his stories.
So in our Network Marketing Co. we can tell our story, and the stories of others.

"The best speakers use the fewest words to go the farthest. " So true! Les showed us in this video how to tell a powerful story in less than 2 minutes!

Les Brown is a must for building belief and changing your mindset. I love listening to him and I can tell Eric does too!
  • mspaulamc
Sent this to the team .. today, starting a new run for a new contest - told them this was a must watch before we started the push .. LOVE IT, Love Les!
  • JenniferDu79
What an amazing speaker. It is true he pulls you in and you see yourself in everything he says. I am going to have to listen to this one more than once.
  • Bea Resnick
I'm so glad I waited on this for awhile after watching the individual videos consecutively. I may have to come back every month and watch it again! Things for me to ponder: People are thinking, "Who are you? What do you have? And why should I care?" How do I create an experience for others that interrupts the addiction to powerlessness? "There's a difference between being in this business and this business being in you!" I loved this interview before and I still love it!
  • sandycollins
come join my team! no sign up fees whatsoever.
  • he is amazing....i am right there with you Eric ....could listen to him talk all day.

but i bet he has implemented "perfect practice makes perfect' in his life.
  • I am really happy you put the uncut versions of the interviews too. Otherwise, we would miss a lot of very valuable info. Not a video to show to everyone though because some people could conclude that MLM is about manipulating people (even though Les does not say this; hey, you hear what you want to hear).
  • nmpro4ever
    wow.
  • Dylan Cooper
    Incredible information. Thanks so much.
  • frankbarrett
Listening to Les speak is mesmerizing. Tell stories, using someone story other than your own. 3-party Great!!
I want to be me but speak like Les Brown ......
  • I've been meaning to watch this video in it's entirety for about a month now... This is probably my favorite video out of all 200+ videos on this website. I have been following Les Brown for about a year now when I saw a video of him on YouTube called "You Gotta Be Hungry" Les Brown is hands down my favorite motivational speaker. He can absolutely be a blessing to those who listen and act on his message.
  • mrmauriocrawford
I've commented on this a few times already... I got up at 5:30 this morning & beat my alarm clock. I thought about this video, I sat thru the entire thing again. It's like the message changes each time I watch it. There's so much good stuff in this one video. This has to be the best NMPRO vid to date.

All I can say is ... WOW. I do not choose to be a common man. It's true, "we have a better way", it's our job to tell the world.

Thank God...for this video. This video will save alot of those in our industry who are lost and can't seem to find the way.
  • I have never heard of Les Brown until watching this interview. It was so challenging, inspiring, moving and informative. I appreciated everything about this interview. And to think when I originally saw that it was a 35 minute I considered not listening to it. I will now listen to it once a week for the next 6 weeks.
    Once again, thank you Eric
  • Tom Bailey
It is so good to find a dynamic speaker such as Les Brown,I loved watching his interview and was able to follow him up on other sites and enjoyed so much his tribute to Jim Rohn, another dynamic superstar in my opinion,I am especially impressed with these guys who confess to following the leadership of Jesus and believing that the answers to our success or failure is found in the Bible, great work guys, and thank you !!

passion in my story is what i need to work on thought i had it but ..........................what an eye opener
  • Probably the best and most useful interview to date. Awesome stuff!

    Thanks to both of you.
  • One of the high-achievers in my company, Julie Mirr, elaborated on the importance of getting your head straight and your "game" together with respect to why you are doing the business. Les Brown provides an example of someone who has his head COMPLETELY straight about why he does what he does. His littany of spontaneous brilliance and masterfully rehearsed stories serve as a demonstration as to what you can become when your head is right.
  • ronaldvandomburg
My insight is that till now, I tell a superficial story about why I'm involved in MLM. Now I realise that I need to tell the real story. Thanks Less and Erik, that is a wonderful lesson
  • margarethockaday
powerful, i loved it. Belief in yourself and positive thinking.
  • quintaser
I have never seeing a more brilliant and happy face than Les's, he proyects: knowledge, peace, passion, love, hapiness. This is one of the posts that I will be watching over and over again, at least, for the next week, I will be watching it ever single day. Here is gold, and I will get it all!!!

  • This interview is worth hearing again and again. The complete one, of course.
  • mrmauriocrawford
    seriously mind blowing interview!
  • Jeroen Lingier
you have greatness inside; truly a wonderfull message.
Build your story and let your listeners experience your life! Answer their questions (can I do it and is it worth it?) through your message.
Also we should realise that the 40- 40 plan is no longer. You can't be sure that working fourty hours for fourty years will provide you security. These are changing times, people are only costs to the factories and as such they can be replaced by machinery or less earning people in some distant country.

Thank you, mr. Brown for sharing some of your insights. Hope to see your again on the show.
From Flanders, Belgium. This is jeroen Lingier

  • csloangallagher
Ah, Les Brown. He is fantastic and so, so, so authentic! Could listen to him all day.
  • carolmcwilliams
I get something new each time I watch this. Les's ending words that we all have greatness inside of us, and we are here is this profession to bring this out. I'ts not about what happens around us, but what is happening inside of us. Being challenged in building this business is forcing me to do tremendous internal work to strengthen myself to feel my passion and not give up no matter what. I am now going to work on my story so it is more compelling and motivates others to see the greatness inside of themselves to want to create something new for themselves.

    Thanks
  • rmonte
What a boost!! thank you for bringing us the best Eric. Your site is a huge determining factor in my daily attitude. Thanks again!!
  • Marion
    Thank You,
This interview will watched over and over again. (by me)
    Amazing information
  • There are so many great concepts in this interview with Les Brown. Starting with telling your story - who are you, what do you have, and why should I care. Most of us only have the answers to the first two questions, but we forget to bring our prospects into the story and relate it their interests. Then, the second part is interrupting the story already in their heads, and letting them know that they can do it and that it will be worth it!

Then, the whole idea of having passion and personality brings us new challenges. It's not enough to just share information and follow a 'formula'. We need to share our passion and conviction, and become a voice of hope that Les talks about. Eric, thanks for all that you do!
  • tonylogue
I've always known I have greatness in me because my mom told me so. I've been gone from home now for over 30 years, and the world hasn't always told me the same story. In fact when I've tried to show moments of greatness those around have worked hard to tear me down or run me off.

That's why I've never given up hope on the network marketing industry, but quite frankly I've never taken the time to become a Network Marketing Professional. The time is now.

Eric, words can't express my gratitude for what you are doing for myself and others. It's truly humbling to see someone that has reached your position in this industry giving back in such an incredible way.

    Thank you...thank you....thank you...

  • Pepeneto
Amazaing interview with amazaing people. Eric Your show is the greatest you should be on CBS, FOX, NBC, CNN, BBC someday....
  • I had my first job when I was 23, for six months, the second one after I was 30 because everybody else worked and I felt lonely. Then I became an entrepreneur, built a business and got others to work for a small wage. It was not satisfying, either. This is so much better! NM is an equalizer: you work, you gain and you are helped by your team. You get better in health, in mind, in emotion, in friendships and in pocket ;-)
This whole interview is fantastic, I have listened to it several times and I already want to listen to it again!
  • SJ Doug
    Eric that was really great.
Is there a way that I can get a copy of this?

  • "An uncommon desire to control your destiny, that's what it means to be a network marketer" This is one of the many quotes I am going to use in my "story" Thank you, Les and Eric, I appreciate you and your uncommon desire to help us all to be a better person, a better network marketer.
  • caronwashington

Les´s words have certainty, power , passion and optimism... Like it.. Thank you.
  • Les offered us an incredible amount of nuggets. I will need to watch this interview repeatedly to take it all in.
  • Ria Leermakers
Something went wrong: I was'nt finished:
    - Wich 5 reasons keep me from quiting?
    - The storie is about what is happening insode of you!
    - Easy is not an option!
    - fasten your psygicolocial seatbells, you gonna get no's from the people nearest to you.
    - you want the people who want more, not the people who need more.
The last one is one for me to remember.

Thank you both for this interview.
I puts me right on track, coming home from a holiday without internet!
A lot of love from Holland.

#256 - Les Brown - The Magic of Network Marketing - Les is certainly an amazing person. Thoughts just roll off his tongue. 40-40 is 40 hours/week for 40 years. If you are casual about your dreams, your dreams will be a casualty. Addiction to powerlessness. You can't see the picture when you are in the frame - Get a coach. Gave me a lot to think about and implement. I have greatness in me. Thanks, Les Brown
  • Jacqueline Elliott
I'm new here. Where is the link you promised to Les Brown's information?
    This was sensational!
  • ericworre
    Welcome Jacqueline. http://lesbrown.com
  • and I had to add one of my favorites from this interview:

"If Information could change people, everybody would be skinny rich and happy" - so true!
  • As Les tell us; it´s so important to develop your skills and become a good storyteller.

Just this last week, one of my team members got very good results from our products: He could reduce his medication and was able to focus better. Óf course this sky rockets his belief in our business.

I have been using his result/story these last couple of days to show the importance of using your companys products to get good product result - which will give you the passion you need to develop your business.
  • Les Brown is a fountain of NM wisdom. He comes across as a nice person too.

"Many people have the right aim in life,
but they just never pull the trigger." - Unknown

    1. Network marketing is the better way.
    2. Financial freedom.
    3. Helping others get from where they are to where they want to go.
    4. Do what I want when I want. Giving up my powerlessness.
    5. Meeting and being part of a fantastic group of people that are Network Marketing Professionals!!
  • MattinJaxfl

So thoroughly enjoyed the full version of you and Mr. Les Brown. I thank you so much for telling the honest truth of how one can succeed in NM as long as one is willing to work and develop oneself to greatness and tell stories that all can relate with in their own lives. So happy to see how you both have a good rapport and can't wait to see more from the two of you. Hoping one and all is still enjoying the weekend in great spirits....looking 4ward to the next video!!

Amazing and powerful interview that leaves so much food for thought and desire to inspire and find the greatness within. A million thank you's to Eric and Les Brown for the wealth of practical information.
  • Amazing Interview! So much great wisdom and information for us all to digest and add to our lives.
The most amazing point that I got out of it was this one when Les Brown said: "Network Marketing is the vehicle to create the total you." This is an amazing revelation for me and something that I have through about for a long time. It is time now to move forward with continued passion, determination, desire, and purpose to fulfill the live of my dreams and that of millions of others around me. Thanks so much Eric for all that you do for us in this community.

This is an archived must for the team.....a great validater that the Greatness inside us all will be released when one decides to discard the " Volunteer Victim-Hood" status and take back ownership od ones life.....Seal's "Crazy" comes to mind as a background music to this
  • tambry
Great interview. Took lots of notes. Things happen around you and happen to you but only thing that matters is what happens in you is my favorite.

Episode 47 of Eric Worre's 100 Episode Throw Down Challenge:

In the words of Nat Purnaputra: "UNBELIEVABLE!!!!"
  • HoracioMejia
Through this interview, I found out that being a Network Marketing Professional implies being a Professional story teller, developing your personality and expressing your passsion with the fewest words possible. I didn´t think that was so important until I heard Les tell a story.
  • ericworre
Yes, it's one of the MOST important
  • This one's another keeper.
  • Tarashon Broomes
this was a great interview...Les Brown is very encouraging and makes you want to keep working hard and pushing until u reach to where you want to go in life
  • karenandian
What an awesome interview! While telling your story - 3 questions you want your audience to take away the answers (whether one on one or a room full), Who you are? What do you have? why should I care? Its possible - what is possible for one is possible for all. Its necessary to have a game plan - be persistent and I am going to make it!
  • There is so much good stuff here. thanks for bringing us these great lessons on story telling, all things are possible, remembering the why, etc. Les is very engaging. We are fortunate to have this opportunity to listen to him and repeat.
  • dstfa96
This was such a phenomenal interview...Les Brown tells the most amazing stories and gives such great advice!

I loved when Les said that the best speakers make the fewest words go the farthest...I plan to utilize this advice especially when doing my presentations!

Thanks Les and Eric for a phenomenal interview!!! :-)
  • Earl
You have inspired me to be the type of person that people become more inspired because they have talked with me. The three questions are awesome! Thanks. They are going to be the basic's of most every story from here on out! Thanks!
  • latachia_2
People are looking for personality&product, industry& your dream.
    Fasten your psycolical seatbelts.
You want people who want more, not need more.
    Have 5 reasonsfor your why.
    This is possible for anyone.
    nessisary for game plan,persistance

You're going from volunteer victim(addiction to powerlessness) to cooperation& colaberation
Tell story to distact, example& inspire.you have to borrow belief in yourself from someone else!Being around high achievers will push ,stretch, hold you accountable& raise the bar. What you focus on the longest becomes the strongest.
You have to experment until you find desire & passion. Network Marketing is the vehichle that that allows to be total you.You have to learn to have many skills& get personal devepment.
You need to have the uncommon desire to control your destiny.
    We have greatness inside us!

Les Brown is THE man to motovate to greatness
  • denisekay
Les Brown and Eric Worre light the fire of hope. Has anyone taken the personality test? Are you a Lion, Golden Retriever, Otter or Beaver? I have taken it twice and my highest trait is Golden Retriever. Have you ever seen a Golden Retriever leader?? We are followers, that’s my challenge. A bonus is Golden’s love people.
  • jpmendoza
There is a test you can take to find out what kind of leader you are?
  • denisekay
Okay... and that would be... ?
I am best at planting seeds. I will be better at following up and signing up.
Thanks for your reply and have the best day ever!
  • gillym1
Amazing - the whole thing (much better watchuing it in one sitting!_

    Many thanks
  • Storytelling.
So many words of wisdom Les Brown shared in this interview.
Create an experience with the audience. Addiction to powerlessness. In a time of "accelerated change, overwhelming complexity and tremendous competition", NWM has a spirit of cooperation and collaboration; a community of achievers where everybody wins.

Storytelling purpose: Strategically create an experience with our Story that:
Distracts (stop listening to the story people believe about themselves),
Disputes (through the course of telling your story example/third party validations/, cause them to back away from saying 'I can't sell, I can't do this, or I'm not ready to learn something different and new) and,
Inspires (realize that what's possible for one is possible for all. Now ready to start writing a new chapter in their lives).

I am thankful for those new friends in my life I have found through the NWM experience who also seek greatness, not for their self interests, but through encouraging others.

Eirc, one of the best qualities of this program: You pass it on.
  • lorijones
Great words of wisdom! NWM has a tremendous opportunity for all of us to empower others to greatness. I love that this is a personal development business.
  • jenniferwideman
    Eric & Les,

This interview has inspired me more to inspire others ... more than anything I have come across in a good while. I have transcribed almost every word of it so I can read it as well as hear it over and over. Thank you for giving us such great nuggets of life-changing wisdom.

A Network Marketing Pro in the making pursuing greatness,

    Jennifer Wideman

  • brigittapatel
    Amazing!
    "Addiction to Powerlessness"
" If you are not part of the solution you are a part of the problem"
"I will persist until I succeed"
    Thanks a million
  • PaulineP

    Brown is good.
  • Pete
This was the 2nd time listening and it won't be the last
  • kgoren
You've got to be HUNGRY!! The 40/40 plan is gone. I love this story about the gentleman who got fired after doing more than expected for the company. As we all can relate to that, especially in these bad economic times. There are thousands of people out there today that have experienced this themselves and now is the time to take control of our own future.
  • Perhaps the most remarkable aspect of this interview is the information enables you hear what you never heard the first three times or more in your other favorite interviews.... then perhaps I would not have heard and been moved by this interview without having listened numerous times to some and everyone since the beginning. This interview is a weekly PM... planned maintenance item.
  • billrogers
Super! One of the best! I will listen to this regularly and pass it along to my team as well.
Thank you so much Les and Eric!

This video was made as a training video but it would be fantastic to share with prospects as well. I'm getting it out to a few of mine right now and know I'll continue to share it with others as time goes on.

    Great interview!
  • Nancy Eldred
What a fantastic interview - I'm still in shock - WHAT Les Brown said was brilliant, but it's the HOW he said it, that makes it even more powerful - and it was fun watching the two of you having such a good time.
  • 256: That is THE MAGIC of Network Marketing
  • Thanks for this awesome week.
  • bryantkeefe
I will watch this again and then again. Thanks Eric!!!!!!!
  • Dee_Canada
How can you say it any better? Les paints the picture of what is in the heart of everyone who chooses to become a professions in network marketing...

I refuse to be a common man.
It is my right to be uncommon if I can.
    I seek opportunity not security.
I do not wish to be a kept citizen, humbled and dulled by having the state look after me.
I want to take the calculated risk to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed.
I refuse to live from hand to mouth.
I prefer the challenges of life, to the guaranteed existence, the thrill of fulfillment to the still calm of Utopia.
I will never cow to any master nor bend under any threat.
It is my heritage to stand erect, proud and unafraid,
To face the world boldly and say “This, I have done.”
That is what it means to be a multi-level marketer,
an uncommon desire to control your destiny.

I am working to let that fire consume the fears so that I can get to where I want to go and share that possibility with others.
  • Thanks for typing it, Dee. All are great "Stand in front of the morning mirror" mantras!
