March 8th, 2010 Email This

Layoffs, reduced hours, more work for less pay, now “Work Sharing”?  Job security is an oxymoron.  It doesn’t exist.  We have a better way!

I applaud the efforts at programs but it doesn't make sense for thtem to penalize the performers. Just another perfect exampleof why we do have a better way.
  • aliceflanders
The sad part is if their work is cut 20% They still earn too much to get unemployment. One of the things that bothers me is that if someone is getting either unemployment or welfare, they cannot join my company without giving up their benefits before they are able to replace them.
  • heatherbrocklehurst
There is no other way to create freedom for the average person and even the not so average person, as network marketing. Safe is the new risky because it does not allow you any wiggle room.
  • yitz613
Safe is the New Risky when you put your energy into building someone elses' dream.
  • mspaulamc
Amazing at how things that a few years ago we would never even think of as "acceptable" are OK now.. is this the pot of frogs in cold water syndrome when you turn the heat on?
  • JenniferDu79
"The only safe is within YOU!" that is great. It is scary that people would be willing to put their entire future in someone else's hands.
  • couldn't agree more....sad that people are willing to settle.
  • Donna Wheaton
    Thank you Eric!
  • "I have jobsecurity" Hey, and those people say that you get indoctrinated in MLM?!
  • jeanalbert
Why would anyone not be open to network marketing when things like "work sharing" is going on in their own workplaces? I just can't understand, but they are out there.
  • Pepeneto
MLM has given to me the confident to face whatever situation in my job may come. Because I know it depends on me, It doesnt depend of my company, or my boss, or the government anymore. I still working for a company, but I have a great plan B, and one day It will be my plan A. Its just matter of time, discipline and persistency. Thank you Eric
  • Lotta
We have a better way Thank you
  • No Way!! Those days are definitely over. I know TOO many people that have been downsized and laid off. My sister, my wife's father and mother-in-law, her aunt and uncle, and the list goes on. It's ridiculous, and the 4 of them are in their 60's, have no money, and will have to work for the rest of their lives. All I can say to everyone is.....NEVER GIVE UP!!!

Keep building your businesses until you can break free from that horror. 5 people on unemployment that's about to come to an end, one that is about to lose their home, and people still don't want to be in business for themselves. It's sad but many people are completely enculturated by some kind of norms that we have created. I pray that they snap out of it and stop waiting for someone else to bail them out.
  • Ngoc Tran
You make me so happy with this topic because I no longer get stuck in that situation. Eric, it’s true that We Have A Better Way!
  • nikigombis
It sounds more like going down the corporate ladder.
  • robbinsaturniewicz
I keep thinking that it can't get any worse but it does. It seems that communities that are feeling it the most are the first to get network marketing.
  • chriskemp817
There is no guarantee in corporate America. Work sharing? Come on give me a break!
  • Irina
    Job security does not exist!
    This is so true...
  • Dylan Cooper
So true. The other day I was talking about our business and I said how I don't have a pension plan and I'm not worried about it. This business is my pension and so much better. This guy turned to me and said "You'd better get a pension plan", as if my business was the most ridiculous thing he'd ever heard.

How sad that he believes in the broken system. He's watching me though :-)
  • Inger
Don't rely on others, build your own future and take charge!
  • meagankellytorres
Unbelievable! Some people are just stuck in the JOB security thinking, even though they can see all around them how jobs and security are complete opposites. We need to posture up and share our opportunity with all we come across because people are suffering right now. We have a better way! We need to tell the world.
  • Tony
Work sharing / job sharing will be the way of the future for millions of people. From a political viewpoint, anything that keeps down the numbers of redundancies and lay-offs will do just nicely.
  • feltricks
It's amazing, how the goverment keeps throwing small bones to the dogs.
It is time for the dogs to go away and look for the sweetest life.
Safe is the new risky and we have a better way.
  • CarlosVera
Incredible, and people say network marketers are nuts..............Wake up!!!
  • I love work sharing! I market awesome products directly to the end consumer and I teach people how to set up in business doing the same. That's my work and I'd like to share it with thousands of people!
  • pech
To work for others, I will call "time for money trap".
  • Absolutely. Japan is approaching that state of employment, too...
  • Mark from Germany
I'd say Germany is'nt far from that ..
  • Edith Kohler
It's a fact that save is the new risky, and it's not just us network marketing people, who know so today.
I can use those "save is the new risky words" and instead of a little while ago,now common people agree with that.
  • Agneta Rebo
We have been there in Sweden to. You´d better take sharge of your own life.
  • Miguel Cortez
That y network marketing is on high Deman
  • ronaldvandomburg
when you have 20% less work, you have time to start your network marketing organization...:-)
  • Cindy Dower
The "safest" place to be is in control of your own destiny.
  • Our government is messed up.

How about Eric Worre for President!

Network Marketing is the better way. Working it full-time. Swim up stream!
  • happyhealthybob
i like the description for the vid, i think this will be a great thing to show to possible recruits.
  • Thanks for the enlightenment.
  • What happens when these companies loose all their top performers? We begin our slide into mediocrity. Being an entrepreneur - network marketing pro - is the only way in this economy. We are ahead of the curve.
  • Darnell
Thanks so much for just stating the truth once again b/c job security is a joke and the top achievers and performers are always undervalued and under-appreciated. We deserve better so if that's the case let's join together and help others do the same and by doing so we all win enormously!!
  • DianaValdez
Wow! When you read the first part it seemed like a nice idea but it is completely unfair for some, like you mentioned. Anyway they are having to be creative but with the same old eh? No changes there. Why not looking for real alternatives like Network Marketing!
  • Wow! This is truly twilight zone stuff! Companies will find any way to get the leverage they can over an increasingly expensive workforce while our government will find any way whether it be within or outside of its means to secure the votes!
  • gkamlm
Let's id the 17 states and get those working a 4 day week into network marketing.

    Could be an opportunity.
  • jean_albert
It's smoke & mirrors. It makes like to economy is stable while unstablelizing people's lives, and yet people are grateful for the crumbs being offered them. sad.....
  • brianhepner
My traditional job gave everyone a pay decrease seven years ago. Then the company has not raised pay since... The worst part about it is the company has and still is experiencing record growth and profitability. Working my way out of the wage system!... We have a better way.
  • Jose Lopez
Sad. We definitely have a better way !!
  • veronikakari
Basically you are right, but do you have aby information how many people percentage see it as well? At least not many around me.
  • Arnold Thompson
    "Work Sharing", what a joke.
  • jlt0wn
another good point to add to our list.
  • tyroneholmes
Eric its funny you brought the topic up. We just made some lay offs at my job a couple of weeks ago. Some of the employees recommended this job share concept. I was not a fan of it and still not. It reminds me of socialism, the work force is just following the government.
  • germarl
Even more evidence to 'go against the Flow' ....
  • karenandian
This is so true - the new expectations from corporate is that you will do more for less. It is time we spread the word - there is a better way!!
  • barryburgin77
They used to call it job sharing. Same old crapola.
  • Everyone please share this on Facebook and Twitter and anywhere else it'll reach people so they can wake up to the realities of 21st century employment!

Whilst we mustn't fall into the recessional/depressional "group think" of things can only get worse we do need to answer the question "what's our reality" so that we can then figure out ways of moving from where we are to where we want to be. Or rather so those that don't have a plan can join us or find their own.

Great video Eric - I can see the passion and rage that this brings out of you - I feel equally strongly about similar issues in the UK and the continued, institutionalised, bare-faced LYING of our government. The idiot chancellor spun "continued government investment" out instead of saying "we've decreased the value of your money by 40% or more by printing stuff that we cannot underwrite; we're giving the bankers more time to repay what we've loaned them but we won't stop them screwing you with poor interest rates and outrageous charges in the meantime and then we're going to further reduce your income via taxes (and I imagine job-sharing in time). That's the truth but "investing" deliberately misleads over 99% of the citizens that these mofo's "serve".

Wow - that felt good ;-0
  • Wow! You make a valid point. The top performers lose in this scenario....no doubt!
  • That's amazing Eric. Thanks for sharing so much good stuff with us to help build our business. You are coming out with so much mega content I can't keep up with you!!!!
  • susanclark
#258 - Work Sharing? - What will they think of next ? There is no job security and no being safe if that's where your mindset is. The only job security for me is me. Let's make it happen.
  • WE HAVE A BETTER WAY!
Lets go to tell our stories to the world!
    :D
  • DennisByron
Settling for Mediocrity. People looking and longing for the old days of working for a company right out of college or high school until they retire. That just doesn't exist anymore. If people actually knew how many people were being told its expected to work over and not get paid or to do the same work in 32 hrs instead of 40. it always amazes me that in their opinions, getting a second job working nights at some video store or gas station is preferable to joining a good MLM.
  • daddykekere
That is no consolation for someone who has given his best in a company for years and is now stuck in that company because he has no where else to go. his mortgage, his children's career, bills and retirement all depend on this. Its a very sad story. Thanks Eric.
  • I'm with you brother. The thing that gets me is that a lot of those people who have to take a cut in pay, as much as they hate it, STILL believe it's better than joining an MLM company. They still don't get it. I realize it's up to us to convince them, but that attitude still runs rampant amongst most folks. It makes you wanna scream!
  • Sounds like more of "robbing Peter to pay Paul". There are too many people who still live by that philosophy however, not us and that's why we are so uncommon. It's a short-sighted way to fix the problem which of course, will not lead to any real solution. The up-side is we will all have more prospects as more and more people will become disgruntled and start looking for Plan B. Didn't you say "there are huge opportunities in solving huge problems"? We better get busy!
  • quincy
Sounds like a very temporary solution. This industry is the only thing thats safe ans secure once built right. You can build a corporate career right and still lose it all.
  • billrogers
Great points! In the past 12 months I have came across numerous people in this exact situation and the majority accept it and continue on. Still afraid to step out of the comfort zone. Not yet willing to accept the fact "We have a better way"
  • smreed
Many people will not be happy with this "work sharing sytem" being forced on them.

They will be wanting more from life. A better way. But not know what they could possibly do to escape this hell they feel trapped in. It is up to us to show them that we have a better way and why this crumbling ancient system is broken beyond repair.

I was in this position myself 4 years ago. I was in the right place at the right time to be introduced to this industry and will forever be grateful to my sponsor for introducing the opportunity to me.
  • bartonmurray
work sharing, geese, now two parents my have to work one job these day??!!?
  • Safe is the new risky....concerning todays economy, truer words have never been spoken.....More and more people are realizing that they need a plan b, but they are afraid to move forward. We can help them to understand how they can have a better, less stressful life.
  • krisic
#259: I love this point-I couldn't tell you how many people won't listen to the opportunity because they or someone they know has failed and an MLM before. Well, I have failed before too, but I know this is the way to go and I found the MLM that's right for me. My future's so bright, I gotta wear shades!
  • Very useful analogy to the "world" we have grown accustomed to as "normal".
But left or right.... that world is .....up upside down.

The world "upside down" and what went wrong from a people perspective is very well explained and put in a historical perspective in "the 50th law" by Robert Greene & Curtis jackson.
    ~
ps. Eric any recent book recommendations to share?
  • krisic
#258: This is exactly what I'm talking about. I have worked for an oral surgery practice for over 10 years. After my second child I decided to go down to PRN hours- they call me when they need me and I go in and work. Now that the youngest is four, I asked for permanent 2 days a week. They told me they couldn't afford it because of the economy. Now they have two assistants pregnant and due in June. So what do they do? They hire someone else FULL-TIME with benefits!! And they have to train her. So here I am frustrated, but I know I have a better way and one day I can fire them!!:)
  • fc34615
I am sure of one thing; once I am able to build a strong MLM career, there is no way in hell I will ever go back to working for someone else. Thank you, Eric.
  • ritafulton
Eric, Your passion is catching!! It is sad when people just do not open their eyes to see what is truly all around them in the work place. Thank you
  • quintaser
    LEAD BY EXAMPLE.
We must succed in the MLM to show the world that ours is the better way, with things like this, the job sharing, we have a great opportunity to show by example, not only by words that in fact MLM is THE better way

From Puebla Mexico, I am Sergio Quintana MLM Pro
  • In network marketing each can person can earn what they want - they just have to be willing to work and persevere.
  • chocolatelifesaver
With so many layoffs happening everywhere, in my family and my community I am amazed at the helplessness of people and how most are handling it. When I was laid off almost two years ago, I was relieved. Why? Because I finally had a chance to be free of control of others on how to work effectively and make a living. Something just wasn't right and I had felt is getting that way increasingly for years. When I took the time that unemployment gave me to clear my mind and get organized, I started training and learning about MLM. Don't you dare say "I can't afford it" with libraries now offering free downloads for two week periods of every book you need to do this business as well as books to check out and renew on line! There is no reason keeping anyone that chooses to take advantage of this option even when they are still working or unemployed, displaced, laid off. If you don't like where you are, do something about it so you can feel good about your life.

Wow, after a few part time jobs, I am now my own boss, in a respectable MLM; working all the time and loving every second. Find a product you believe in, surround yourself with people that will support you and you them, and go for it.

Eric you are so on the money when you say there is no security working for someone else, work with a team, MLM, it is a better way!
  • FrankMarshman
They will pay someone just as little as they can. "They paid me just enough to keep me from quitting and I worked just enough not to get fired."
  • pollyhulseman
This is so true, yet people keep burying their heads in the sand that at least they have a job. We do have a better way and we need to get it out there.
  • Connie Tolton
Letting us know that we are on the right path while some have to still 'play the mouse game' is encouraging. Knowing that 'they' are not always right, 'we' know where we are going and that it's the right place 'for us'.

    Thanks,
    Connie T
  • It's tough out there in the Regular Work World and scary!
I'm never going to go through that again.
  • turjcxg
Wow. You're right about the performers Eric. But you know, if a company sees that their employees are willing to take a 20% cut just to keep their jobs then what's next? A 30% cut, a 40% cut? And that's a cut on gross pay, how many people can actually sustain their current lifestyles on these cuts in pay?
  • BetterCoffee.dk
    Too right Eric!
Job sharing is kind of a joke.
I would say though that there are probably instances where it makes sense.
Could be a team of builders or whatever who have too little work right now, but each member on the team pulls his weight and they don't want to loose any people at this time.

Anyway, why not let them spend the vacant time building MLM businesses???
  • I guess this is as anti prosperity as it gets :(
  • Entrepreneurialship is the only way to go! Safe is the NEW RISKY!
  • marvalouslife1
    "WorkingPlace" is your grave Yard.
this is the place where you die!!!

With MLM you live, youare positive, you are smiling.

    Poor people inside the Matrix.

    Saludos from Aguascalientes, Mexico.
  • beckydesabah
Isn't it amazing? People still look for a "stable and safe" job instead of opening their mind and listening to a different option to become their own boss.
  • rosslopez
Be safe, stay on your confort zone now and don't ask me how your life will be in 10/20 years.
I've always thought like you just commented Eric, keep the current job just to pay your bills but start building a future for yourself, It gives me strength to know and hear everyday there is a better way towards freedom and I really like this comment I saw bellow "non dependancy is key" =o) and it applies in all aspects of our life.

    Thanks and hugs from Mexico
    Rossana =o)
  • Scary stuff. Reduction in work hours should be a choice thanks to our better way :-)
  • margarethockaday
At my job that won't hire anymore people but the department gets smaller while the workload gets heavier
  • caronwashington
Safe is definitely the new risky. The times when you were able to be at a job for 20 or 30 years is no more. Today, you must put a vehicle in place after 5pm that will enable you to reap the benefits of passive and residual income. A job pays the bills but a business creates a lifestyle when its in our industry
  • The person who thought of "Work Sharing" must be UNION!
  • Tarashon Broomes
i agree 100% working for someone else is definitely the worse place to be. "work sharing" is a sure sign that network marketing is the way to go...now work sharing who knows what could be next.
  • Great video. Interesting how the people of the world are living in a dream land that is so far from reality.
It reminds me so much of the movie The Matrix. Most people asleep going through the motions. I totally agree that Safe is the new Risky.
Thanks for sharing this with us Eric and motivating us to take charge of our lives and strive for success!
    Make it a great day!
    God Bless,
    -ed
  • carolmcwilliams
THe key to shifting over to NM to create more freedom, is to be able to help many people develop the entrepreneurial mindset to take charge of creating something for themselves. It requires great strength, courage, ability to act even when one is fearful, etc. These are qualiteis frankly that are dwindling in our society today. So our job in this profession is to help strengthen these character attributes in ourselves and bring it out in others, even when they don't see it in themselves. Not an easy task, because the attrition rate is so high.
  • denisekay
message received.. We have a better way.
  • odelya45
I am soooooo excited. I dont want to have a job anyyyyyyyyyy more.
People are waiting to be rescued by the goverment. lets help them take control on their future!!!
  • Lorraine
There is no such thing as job security. That concept died a long time ago but some people refuse to acknowledge the truth.
  • Eric, You told my story. Had to take a 10% cut twenty months ago, than another 10% 6mos ago. Now we've laid off over 175 people in that time. My department went from a staff of six to a staff of two plus a part time person 3 hours a day and guess who gets to do all the long hours so the work gets done, right the guy on salary. 12-14 hours a day. So hard to break the cycle and grow my business.
  • Hang in there Mike. You can do it! Let me know if there is anything I can help you out with.
You are among great company here and Eric is an amazing leader and mentor for us all to learn how to become Professional in Network Marketing.
    Make it a great day!
    God Bless,
    -ed
  • I am so unemployable!
  • keithraines
safe is the new risky- There's no security when someone else determines what your worth and for how long your worth it? Network marketig allows us to look in the mirror and then go out and give ourselves a raise.
  • bethascoli
I have a similar problem with my line of work except it's not called "job sharing." I work as a nanny, so basically the kids get older, go to school and I'm needed less and less. Every year my hours get cut back more and more until I'm forced to either take on a second job or start over again with younger kids. Fortunately I now have the income from my network marketing business to make up the difference in pay, or else I'd be having to look for a job again. I can't wait until I'm full time though so I can finally break free of this cycle and start really making a difference in kids lives instead of working with them for money!
  • Alfie
The dangerous thing is that many people are still in denial on what really is happening today. They thought that they (people with job) are on a rainbow thinking that the end of the rainbow has a pot of gold... not knowing that when they reach the end, there's nothing, not even a pot. Well, for some there's pot, some has a lot of pots, pots of regret and guilt.
  • coltsco
No wonder so many people are starting to see the light with network marketing when job security is "job sharing".
  • rasdaniels
Lesson learned today - Safe is the new RISKY; the only security is inside me!!!
  • crwood1967
I never feel secure in my job and I work for the government! For the past year we have lost 15% of our pay and have been "nicely" given 3 furlough days! Thanks for bringing this to others to truly understand.
  • dstfa96
Another eye opener...I wasn't aware what work sharing is...its amazing that the signs are there for so many people that they need to do something outside of just working a job..its going to be interesting to see how many people actually open up their minds and join our proefession because we definitely have a better way! While they are getting pay cuts we are positioning ourselves to become financially free and live the lifestyle of our dreams! Network marketing is awesome!!!!
  • tambry
Job sharing is fine if you do it voluntarily or are getting closer to retirement and don't want to work as many hours but if the employer is telling you you have to do it, that's a different story.
  • Bernadette
Network Marketing makes so much sense. It is amazing tht so many people are afraid to even look. Like Les Brown said :people are addicted to powerlessness".
  • bryantkeefe
Can't worry about what they don't get. I can only get what I get. They choose to run abound like mice, good for them. Somebody needs to make the coffee and move the paper.
  • karivankleef
Work sharing- this makes me laugh to even read the headline. I participant in that at my job, but the funny thing is I am the only person required to take a pay cut. Cut the top performers wages to make sure everyone else can live comfortable. I loved Les Brown's quote last week- They pay me just enough so I don't quit and I do just enough to not get fired. I am working on being celebrated instead of tolerated. I am working hard to quit my job.
  • Ellis3
Wise words again. We are doing the world a disservice by NOT speaking louder about giving people the option of Network Marketing. Thanks for being a loud voice out in the world EW!!
  • PaulineP

  • Ria Leermakers
We really do have a better way and its time to start telling the rest of the world, now!
  • Earl
DO they get to come to work 20% Less than before???? Or do you get to come to work 20% more for 20% less pay (so it is really more like a 40% cut)?

Job losses or work sharing it is still pay cuts... it is still LESS INCOME and LESS TIME freedom! Combine that with higher EXPENSES for most people in these times (interest rates, etc)... WOW! The Economy is really close the the edge balancing just before falling! We have the answers to help out a huge chunk of the problem!

Boy, I didn't realize the need we have to fill for the nation/world! I want to tell more people each day how we can help them! If we tell them fast enough maybe then we can help save the nation from ruins...

    Earl
  • Paco_Carreno
It's sacary to imagine myself blind within that mice laberynth! I'll be next week in NYC... I'm thinking about what my friends will tell me or think when they see me driving against mainstream! hahaha... I will answer to them: "I don't want to play that "Cut in Hours" game, I'm sorry"
  • janetrajala
You are right. "Job Security is an oxymoron". At least in the public sector. We need to make believers out of those people we come in contact with, that we can show them the way.
  • kgadol
Our industry provides a way for hard working people to become self supporting and to flourish over time in a rough economy when "no one is hiring" ... we have SUCH A BETTER WAY!
  • It's amazing to me the things people will do for their boss, and how little they will do for themselves. It somehow seems more noble to spend your life working for someone else and to put your future in your boss' hands. Why do we find it so hard tell people that we are building a better life for our family and we would like to invite the people that we care about to join us.

Doesn't it make sense for us to choose who we want spend our futures with? How many people would choose their bosses and co-workers? It just doesn't make logical sense. The world has been brainwashed to accept a life of corporate bondage. And somehow the idea of looking for alternatives draws a vicious backlash from the other crabs in the bucket who want to make sure that nobody gets away. We must awaken the world to take back their lives. It's time for a revolution. Choose not to 'settle for' the crumbs - you deserve better!
  • peterburrows
There is a new world order for those that realise there is a Smart Future.
  • this just happened all around me. I found out years ago that there is no job security, security is an inside thing. Bob Proctor taught me that really well. Thanks Eric, for your messages.
  • Nancy Eldred
For me the no more job security beast started raising it's ugly head back in the late 80's ..
People kept thinking it wasn't really true - the expression "Not in My Backyard"
Well now the Beast is very real. He's now on our front lawn looking at us through the window.
The JOB SECIURITY DOOR has CLOSED.
The NEW DOOR that's opened is called NETWORK MARKETING.

When we decide to go through door #2, one of the people there waiting to say hello - is Eric Worre.
  • orlyalbo
    Strong! Unbelivble! it's so creative!
You are right. Safe is the new reasky!
  • Bjorgli
Lucky us knowing network marketing. Thank you
  • MarvinTowler
The time is now for network marketing! I have compassion for all those people clinging to an old business model that clearly is not sustainable.
  • racingworm
Most businesses are experiencing layoffs right now. How could anyone still believe in the option of a secure job? Guess it goes back to what Les was saying a couple of days ago about being addicted to powerlessness.
  • emmettb
That is a great point, same work less pay.
  • onemartymac
Safe is the new risky. Another great video. Thanks
  • theuns
    Hi Erice

That is real bad :-( , Well all i say is take the bull by the horn look over the hart time if it is a hard to do Network marketing and keep on keeping on cos it is harder to work on a JOB were you do not get pay for what you are doing for the rest of your life with no gaol in site to go for .

  • TAbrams
Work Sharing... I understand the concept, but as a performer and for anyone that wants to be an achiever...this just can't work.

However, the sad thing is that many people are looking for excuses, they see themselves as the victim and view this as bad luck, and just look at it as they have to deal with it....

The bell needs to ring and loud for them... people need to wake up and take charge. People need to believe in themselves and apply all their work ethic to themselves, transforming their mindset, transforming their lives, their financial outlook.

For many though, work sharing - will be a reality... NOT FOR ME!!

We have a better way, we are an uncommon folk, making UNCOMMON $$ :)
  • I don't think Job security is really what people in jobs are looking for to some extent---perhaps they are just looking to be comfortable. Having a job in many instances does not cause you to stretch. But that's a generalization. There are many great jobs that people love. Not everyone wants to stretch. Some people also enjoy working to support the larger vision of a company. This is true with network marketers also. Some network marketers (even the leaders) are much more excited to follow a leader with a bigger vision than their own.

  • We can offer a shot at making it in this failing economy. The journey of the broke is failing. We indeed have a better way.

My son took pay cuts about a year ago. Ultimately he is at a new job, but I don't think he knew he could collect unemplyoment for the amount that he was cut. I agree, there is no longer any security at a 9 to 5 job. I absolutely see where direct sales (and therefore your own business) is the way to go! Thanks.
  • Our mission is to open people eyes... This happens now all over the world.
  • mrmauriocrawford
Job Sharing???!!! Hahaha. Every top performer needs to dismiss themselves from the "machine" and come get paid what they're really worth in network marketing.
  • ybimbalanced
Wow, that really should be an eye-opener for SO many. Thanks Eric, I am going to share this with many of my friends who are not yet involved with Network Marketing.
  • timandtrcia
The great gift we offer is the opportunity for people to take control of their lives.
  • How many possible opportunities for defining moments will it take to believe, act and succeed in Network Marketing?
Your episode points out another one.
Must we reach the painful level of so much frustration / "I've had enough" / with our current story to open our eyes to the possibility that there is better way?
I believe that the pain and suffering can be turned when we move from powerlessness to change and towards the vision Jim Roan spoke of (for things to get better... you... get better) together.
Thanks for being the "mountain guide". Thanks for sharing your joy and your passion.
  • gillym1
So true - build your own security is what I say!
  • Pretty creative way to keep people slave to a job. I guess they saw with lay offs too many people were attempting to make it on their own and succeeding.
  • I loved when Eric said, "save is the new risky." I had to laugh out loud because I just got back from visiting my Dad who is a lifetime banker. He doesn't understand the network marketing industry and still believes that the only way to create success for yourself is to get a good college education and get a "secure" job.

Up until a couple of years ago I thought the same thing. While I was visiting a couple of weeks ago my Dad tried to persuade me to get a job now that I've got a great education, having recently finished my MBA. But he's a banker and he was brought up when everyone thought you had to get a j.o.b. to be successful. I'm so glad that we know better now, we know there's a better way, and can earn what we're truly worth!
    All the best,
    Carrie Hogue
P.S. I think I'll share this video with him too!

Im so glad Im part of an industry that rewards the people who are willing to work hard on themselves, work hard on their enterprise and work hard helping others. It is the complete package.
  • kristibateman
It is crazy out there, falling apart and broken like you said. Thank you Eric
  • HoracioMejia
Here in Mexico we are used to underpayment. More than 60% of people don't like their jobs, but they stay there and accept being underpayed. I think all of this has to do with fear. Fear of going the opposite way, fear of "not belonging". Creativity is now used to find polite names (like "Work sharing") to what we all know by the name of "hell". Network Marketing is much more fair, simply because it depends on you and only you.
  • brigittapatel
When I talk to people their eyes still "glaze over" .I need to get my act together....
    Thanks a million
  • Hi Eric! I'm so glad I found NM when I did! I still do have my old job but now I am really building something great and working my way out of my "job". Great! I love it! / Linda, Sweden

Is change and re-structuring occurring in front of our very eyes or what?
This is a new world order.
  • "it is a stone cold fact that we have a better way" I just don't know how else to put it.

the good news is that because of the economic situation and all that's going on in the job world these days many millions are being slapped in the face and woken up, forced to take notice that the feeling of safety as an employee was just an illusion the whole time. The reality is choosing to be an employee is the scariest, most Dependent, unsecured position to be in. As an employee you're NOT in control of your life and situation. As an employee you ARE at the mercy of the decision makers at the top of the pyramid you choose to work for.

In the employee world you can "work for" a large corporation. In the network marketing world you can "partner with" a large corporation.

To the person who will simply take a moment and do some critical thinking it would seem the choice is pretty clear. Be dependent or be strong.... hmmmm
  • SJ Doug
I am still amazed at how many people are not seeing it yet!
I guess I need to improve my story.
  • julie67
People are like sheep. The flock will follow the leader right off a cliff if we don't steer them in another direction. The FREEDOM that comes with Network Marketing is worth the price of admission. Great show Eric. Thanks for caring!
  • Thank you Eric for sharing this great info. It proves again that we are going the right direction.

I have had personal experience of this with my daughter who worked for an airline company - marketing for 17 years. All the staff tied to help by taking extra unpaid leave, reduced salaries. Finally her job descpriton was no longer there, but she could stay if she took a new position lower down the scale with a reduced salary!!!

She took the redundancy and got out to start a new life.!
  • good for her!
  • Jeroen Lingier
    hi Eric,

In Europe something else got in the news. Governments (in Greece, Portugal and others to come) are freezing the income for the following years. So because of the inflation people will make less money for the same work. It is truly so: Safe is the new risky!
    Greetings from Flanders/ Belgium.
  • juanfernandogutierrez
The people that though were right; are sooo wrong!!!!!! we have a better way!! I am going PRO!!
  • This is great. I had a biz partner's wife receive a letter from her company informing her, she would receive a reduction in hours and thus affecting her insurance.
We absolutely have a better way. Thanks for the greatness! Keep it coming!
  • ulla99
All these methods are artificial respiration, the money goes around from a pocket to another until there is nothin to share.
  • Awesome! I lived that "mice" world for 17 years and know a lot of people still trapped still thinking that they're going to find success in 'middle management.' What a crock.

Eric, thanks for keeping it real!
  • KeithN
Like Les Brown said, many of those people chasing the illusion of job security, are merely getting paid barely enough not to quit, and working just hard enough not to get fired, while building the CEO's dream. Those folks chasing "the cheese" are addicted to powerlessness. Our job is to interrupt the story they believe about themselves long enough to believe it's possible there is a better way.
  • Denise Cox
never thought about the burden on the government with this take. wow.
  • Eric, this is not a new condition but one finally coming to a boil. Guaranteed outcomes instead of guaranteed opportunity are the crux. I have not worked for anyone in a long time and before that did decades of 100% commission jobs. It was odd when the commission structure of many of those jobs prevented someone from exceeding the CEO's income... or if you figured out how a pink slip instead of a paycheck was your reward.

A woman enthralled with socialism at its beginning has had her life sanitized since but she is correct about this. 'Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.' - Helen Keller

We do have a better way. If you have job keep it and build a network to replace it.

A World full of OPPORTUNITY mixed with DIFFICULTY

This, the job-sharing debacle, is another useful fact for us to use, carefully, in MLM communication.

As for me, I escaped the J.O.B. world almost a year ago.
I still remember how having a demanding, professional, project-driven and related J.O.B. feels like.
It tends to kill an individual’s ability to think, to change the mindset, to fully contemplate the possibilities beyond the world in which we find ourselves. The group ethos is such that the workplace becomes one huge pity-party. Frustrations build and good businesses collapses – bosses struggle to hold things together and, in circumstances when the fiscal environment becomes a threat rather than a support, even hope gets sidelined. With billion dollar debt comes hard times. We need to understand the mindset of prospects who will need help to lift their gaze above their mental barricades. Global solutions must be found..and WE HAVE A BETTER WAY, this is our time.
And yes, as J.O.B. security disintegrates and people are forced to find alternatives, this is indeed, our opportunity to bring the MLM opportunity to people, to sponsor, take responsibility, lead and build. Also with product belief comes confidence, with sound business strategy comes successful action. With confidence and success comes wellbeing. We have that great opportunity to market wellbeing. Personally, I feel better already – I want to pass that feeling on, asking not ‘what can my country do for me’, but what can I do for my country, my community, my world.

    From little acorns........like sowing seed.
    Oak-K

    Thanks again Eric.
  • Not only is there "no job security". I have worked close to 40 years on the "corporate plan" - Got the "gold-watch" and was better off when I started than where I ended up after all that time. It is so true that Network Marketing IS A BETTER WAY. I showed my opportunity to a person the other day and his question was, "Is this Network Marketing or MLM?" and I responded "It sure is - if it wasn't I wouldn't be doing it!!!"- END OF STORY, Thanks Eric for all you do.
  • Pete
My pension was terminated after retirement (28 years with company) ....I KNOW there is no security unless I take control !!!

Back to 'Safe is the New Risky' so true!
    We have a better way.
  • No kidding, you must find a way to let the whole world seeing this show on CNN. Than...may be all those "victims" find out themselves that we do have a better way. Take care and best regards from your biggest fan.
  • MattinJaxfl
"Safe is the new risky!" How true that is.

This progressive crap is a mental disease being spread in America. "Work sharing" what a joke.
  • Bryan_in_KC
Dead on. Bad news when the sluggard that should be culled is allowed to remain and effect the masses. One reason I love network marketing..... 100% efficient. If you're a sluggard, you'll cull yourself.

Oh... and a shout out to Mr. Jordan Adler... HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!

Work to get OUT of working those terrible jobs that just want to really take advantage of you & call it a benefit!
  • garyparmenter
Job security? There has never been job security. I am convinced that there is a better way.
  • lauralopez
I agree we have a better way in networkmarketing. I like to do things that really enjoy, I like to work not for the money, I always go for my dreams. I had been working in one of the best company in my country. I spend 8 years of my life traveling and working in many countries of the world. When I arrived to my own country I realice that one of my dream come true, but where were my family? my friends? so a year ago a friend of my introduced me in a networkmarketing comapny when I saw a Video understand my life purpouse, I really like my life that I live but I don´t want to be alone, that´s when I started to share this great opportunity with all the people around me.

Sounds like part of the Obama "Change" idea. The only real sad thing about this is that millions of people will adapt to this by saying to themselves, "this is just the way it is," and settling with it.

Eric, Thanks for helping everyone who wants to look, find a better way
  • Maxwellhealth
Safe has always been the great risk.....safe in the workplace retards the ingenuity.....great companies encourage thought and experimentation to provide the competitive egde....I often time wonder why that does not rub off in the personnel lives of more folks......I suppose it comes back to Les Brown's quote: the UNCOMMON desire to control your own destiny"
  • Dee_Canada
I have seen this first hand with some of clients of of mine. Everyone went from a 5 day week to a 4 day week and took a 20% pay cut. The funny thing is, the HR people took the pay cut but not the cut in hours!! GREAT SPOT TO BE IN EH??

As you keep pointing out....there is a new reality in the world. We have to help people wake up to that reality!
  • Too True! I had Fox news on the other day and a woman claimed to apply for 600 jobs without even getting a part time position. Finally she has given up. The unemployment numbers they give are not even true unemployment. How many people are even collecting at this point?

I'm so happy my sponsor found me, and showed me a better way!
  • kgoren
We have been affected by the bite of unemployment and that is why we have turned to network marketing. Never again, as we have truly found a "better way".
  • Hai
Ouch! I totally agree with you, Eric...We have a better way! NM gives us all better options!
  • what a stupid program! thanks for sharing Eric, I had not heard of it. Makes people feel like it's necessary to depend on gov't assistance, sounds like a really BAD idea!
  • agelfederico
    Waooooooo, brutal!!!!!
And you know whats going to happen to the productivity of that people right!!!!!
  • This is happening everywhere and even where I am - Singapore. Outsider won't know what happening. Anyway, I believe and agreed, this system is 'broken'. Network marketing is a good profession and is the way out for many. And the fact is, almost everyone had been doing network marketing everyday but they just not getting paid for doing it.
  • artdlasvegas
Great point! And what we have is a better way...we know that. Getting our friends and family to see that is sometimes difficult. Even when something drastic happens like job sharing.
  • carybennett
Wow makes ya think about it even more. Talking with a friend this am that works for At&t mobility in outside sales talking about so many of the businesses he calls on have so many less employee's since he even maybe talked with them just months ago about there service.. Lots of downsizeing going on.. Thanks for your sharing Eric
  • rayrios
Hey Eric, I think this has been the Episode so far that has received the most input..You raskle...You know how to stirr the pot!! Thank you for what you do.
  • rayrios
I have proven it 10 years in a row. Comformity is not even a standard, it's a substandard way of living. Yes we need a "CRAZZ" in the employment world, for those that choose not to be different, so they can compete on serving us to preserve their J.O.B.'s...Simple; Opt In or Opt Out...We definitely have a better way!
  • enrique62
Well, Let me disagree with you in this post. The weak live from the strongest-- Who banrupted the banks in the U.S?The CEO's and the board of Directors. While they bankrupted the banks, and layoff thousands of workers, they were given themselves $20 million in compensations.
Only in the U.S, someone can make millions by losing money for the company:banks, insurance, auto industry.
During WWII, the gap between a worker and the CEO of the company was 38times now is 168 times and you don't even have to turn a profit.
  • Steve_Nelson
How are you disagreeing? That's some pointless banter that's irrelevent to this video. Forget about that crap because it's in the past, and worry about what you can do to better YOURS AND OTHERS future! If somebody else writes your paycheck then you don't have job security. Things change and there are trends that are traceable in history. The playing ground is being leveled now. Now is a time to fight for yourself and make something happen...stir it up. So what are you disagreeing with? You think a job is to "have a better way?"
  • ericworre
Oh, I certainly agree that the system has been abused by people in power, especially those with political muscle. ALL compensation will be converted in the future to purely performance based and that includes those CEOs with bankrupted companies. So, if everyone's going to be forced to perform to get paid, why wouldn't people choose Network Marketing where there is no cap vs. traditional business which is the riskiest place on earth?
  • raybeattie
Excellent point, well stated. Thanks Eric.
  • In my last "job" I headed up the Toronto Economic Development "Talent and Employment" portfolio...even then the writing was on the wall re Self-employment and small business being the better way! Thanks Eric for holding up the flag!

  • carolbarrett
Wow Eric. You're right "safe is the new risky". There are a lot of crazy "workplace" stories out there and this "sharing" one is one which I hadn't heard of. I do recall reading a story on the internet back in December 2009 in which a major airline had asked it's employees to work for free over the Christmas holiday to help with "baggage problems". People have to realize there is no job security in corporate America.
  • I love it and am going to use it. Everybody knows that job security is an oxymoron!
  • I would rather go broke trying to build this business than hang on to a job that rewards mediocrity for the under peformers and the expense of the performers.

It’s impressive, Eric, how you keep coming up with fresh, pertinent, interesting subjects for the daily videos. You’re able to pull that off because your focus is, “I will put out a video every weekday!” Thus you FIND A WAY to make it happen. Because of your mindset, you SEE opportunities for learning/teaching where others might not see any. There’s a lesson in that for network marketers.

  • ericworre
    Yes you do
  • good for you todd! I did a job fair last week! The sad part is, most of those people running around will never be financial dependant. My advice to you is ONLY talk to those who have smile on their faces, it will save you a lot of time and wasted energy.
  • Tina Perdue
Very interesting take on that situation. It is true though that they want to work themselves away from that job into a better one!
  • In my company, they now say full time is 36 hrs. a week, but you still have to do the same work you did at 40 hrs.
  • MattinJaxfl
I can relate to that Mark. Only not only do they consider 35 hours full-time at my workplace but they feel like they are given a gift if they can work 40 hours. They also hold out the "possibility of becoming full-time" over the heads of our part time workers so they can exploit those part time workers who are desperate enough to take the abuse in hopes of a extra hours and benefits. It is very sad. All this from what is probably one of the better companies out there.

I like everyone in this forum have higher expectations for my life. I am glad that Eric is helping show everyone including myself "a better way!

  • anthonyviglietta
Fantastic Eric. We need to get this message out to as many people as possible!
  • Unreal ... seems like every time we turn around a new 'program' is developed to penalize the producers and reward (redistribute to) the consumers. You cannot build a thriving, productive society and economy this way!

    Makes me nuts ...

    Best,
    Scott
  • That is exactly what is happening in Venezuela. It is more honest though: If your business is booming it is taken away by the government and bled to death or there is no electricity from 7am to 11am and no water most days of the week. Sooo, consumers go from one store to another, in long lines of unproductive gossip, while they hope to find some milk, flour or butter... It all is in the News. Change must happen because it is already too painful, for many, to remain in the status quo: We have a better way!
  • Yes we do! It saddens me that the U.S. is headed in much the same direction, Francine ... be well and hang in there.

    Best,

    Me too
  • Cee_G
Again, emphasis on the work place system being "broken". (Root word = "broke") We need to keep building our NM businesses so we have a way out of this, because Eric is right. We are like mice running on an endless wheel, going nowhere fast.

Eye Opening! Love it! I don't know why people want to continue racing like mice either. Great Message today! I will be sharing this one!
  • mbryant
Good illustration of what's happening in the JOB world. Brutal is right!!
  • This is just the start! I hope more people sit up and take notice that times are changing. Next will be the strikes because people are persuaded that they are 'entitled' to be employed.

Take responsibility for yourself long before you are forced too!

If only people would realise that by taking responsibility now they might be able to teach their kids how to survive when the going gets tough.
  • We most definitely have a better way!
  • Thats a typical minset for today reward the slackers and punish the performers
Our tax scales ae like that to
  • jeffreyhall
Job security has been a facade for a very long time it is just more accelerated and apparent today.
  • randyhendrickson
I am so sorry this is happening. I now feel it is my responsibility to share and to help people find this better way of life through Network Marketing.
  • ericworre
It's not your responsibility but it's definitely your opportunity (and theirs).
  • Yep the model, system call it what you like it broken. That Eric is a cold stone fact!
  • eddyoshaughnessy
Whats the story with the tag ?
  • ericworre
I don't know who put that in there. Grrrr
  • Wow,
These stats and facts speak volumes. Thanks,
  • alltheverybest
    So right!
We've been comparing Network Marketing to the 40-40-40 life (ie work 40 years for 40 hours p/w to retire on 40% of the money). That was when the 40-40-40 was a realistic expectation!! Not any more! A lot of people would be all over that sort of security now! Ha! We DO have a MUCH better way!
  • Next thing is that many of the top performer seeks new jobs, and leave that company, and they loose the best people to someone else... But that is a different thing.
Many of those top performers are also "to good" to do something like this....and they don't even bother to examine.
We are in one way also doing work sharing =), but in a much better way.......
  • drpricedc
Amen...as a traditional business owner, let me tell you there is no job security. If you are not responsible for yourself and an asset, then in this economy, you have to be gone. Even as an employee, you have to have an enterepenurial mindset "how can I make the company more money" because if you are not profitable, you are an asset....no more of the lies of finding a company that "will take care of you" in the real world you have to take care of yourself!!! best way to do that, by serving others!
  • soxfan071
You said it. Job security? Work Sharring? I do the work and you get to share my benefit. How is that good?
  • patrickmcfeely
Get on your marks get set, GO don't be left on the start line take the first step to your Better life.

You are so right about where the real risk is in the work place. Each day I am taking a step away from that existence thanks to your help!
  • Simon_and_Lia_NL
PS: Eric, this is supposed to be a generic site!

cuts in hrs versus jobs has been set up to create some sort of social system. the good part of that is that we try not to think only on ourselves. However this system is broke and not fair anymore,
so yes 'it is a stonecold fact: we have a better way' (and more social too).
  • ericworre
Yeah, I don't know who put that tag in there. Ticks me off. But I took it out when I got up this morning and saw it.
  • I'm so glad that i opened my eyes when i was about 16 or 17 years old about the "job security". I AM FIRED UP AND FOCUSED IN BUILDING MY LEGACY!

    Here as promised.
  • Erik
You are right my friend, we are not hit that bad yet in Norway, but we are running out of oil as well, and our government have said they need to cut on benefits and increase taxes ( That is allways their solution ) . I guess NM will grow like crazy the next 10 years :)
  • alltheverybest
At least your government in Norway has saved & invested some of its oil revenues unlike ours in the UK that have just squandered it!!
  • Erik
Hi. Thank you for your comment.

I wish you where right. But our government lost something like 20 BILLION pounds on wrong investments last year. So we are squandering it as well. But I know your situasion. My sister is married to a great man from Norfolk and he is one of my best friends, and my father is together with a Scotish lady. So I have strong british connections. Have a great day :)
  • You are your only security.

Universities have always been a protected work environment. However, the local Big Ten university implemented a 1-day a month "furlough" for ALL employees.
  • Ryan
no such thing as job security anymore..

    THANK YOU ERIC
I guess most of them will keep on sleeping
I am looking for those who want to wake up
  • jpmendoza
People would rather stay where they are comfortable instead of going out of their comfort zone & MLM takes you out of your comfort zone.
  • Reductions have been used for decades and actually praised by corporations and industry giants. The key is that the employee is offered the reduction rather than lose their job and in some cases (not sure if in this case though), the employer then increases their income back to what it started at when times get better. The employee, again in some cases, has the option to take the deal or they can choose to leave the company. Either way the employee loses but the sad truth is that so many employees will succumb to it and stay stuck in the little spinning rat wheel and actually learn to put up with it.

The network marketing profession is only really reserved for the very select few who are ready to open their eyes just a little bit. Let's just hope that people affected by work sharing, and there will be thousands, are ready to take a little peek.

PS: Who put that tag in there. This is supposed to be a generic site!
  • ericworre
Not sure who put the tag in there. Makes me mad. I took it down as soon as I saw it.

You said that with Passion Eric 100% spot on

So what is the strategy here, it's the biggest conundrum. People are rooted in the Matrix, the roots are longer than anything above ground. You need to have a session or three on this. I think it's a fascinating subject. Corporate does not care as i said yesterday, as soon as you are expendable you are out.

Les Brown got the words right last week when he said "The majority of people in this country have developed an “addiction to powerlessness” and that's why the majority of people that we share our opportunity with will say no..."

This is an eye opener and it makes so much sense. He went onto say "people are so use to being told what to do and they are comfortable with it and when you offer them an opportunity to be in control of their financial future that is outside of their comfort zone so they prefer to stick with what they know".

If we are nearing the tipping point which i firmly believe we are, (it's happening now).

Lets discuss this more please and how to maximise this opportunity in a very professional way, the NMP way.
You said it Eric, "it is our turn now".
    Very kind regards

    Peter,

Thanks and I promise to keep talking about it regularly. :) I appreciate your comments!

    Eric

    Good lesson again, thanks Eric!
  • yuvalcohen
    Hey Eric
Thanks for the insight, you bring the right exact.
    Fun to learn from you.
  • In 2009, a very large IT hardware manufacturer ask their employee to decrease their salary beween 5 to 10% on a self notification basis.......
The "funny" things is also that they said, that the one that will decide not to do it, might pay the consequence in the next lay off!
Unfortunatelly lay off happened anyway and that company saved on a) the '000's of employee accepting to decrease their salary by 10% (they will need 5 years to get back to their 2008 status) and b) they anyway laff of 25'000 people around the globe as it was originally planned!!!!
For sure, we have a better way!
  • Mailen
So true. . . There is a better way...
  • jodygr
"work sharing" - is that only for the workers? what happens to the ones at the top? do they also share? when a policiy like that is introduced in a company are the shareholders also included? is there any justice in the pay plan?
well, in NWM, the pay plan is identical to everyone - everyone has the potential to be top earner it is dependent on the person alone.
We Do Have A Better Way!
    Thanks for the lesson Eric.
  • wouterdeprez
Your so right Eric! I wonder when people will stop living their lives as a flock of sheep, but i guess that's just the way most people are..
  • hillin
Yes, they don't know what to invent anymore. The old system is artificially kept alive. I am still waiting for the other bubble ( the bubble of commercial real estates, offices and stores abandoned to the banks that can't be rehired or sold, same thing for the houses left by the people who couldn't pay their mortgage (BTW mort in french means death and gage could be translated by committed, as the great Jim Rohn said we have to keep attention to the words and be careful with their message) anymore) to explode.

On that matter, Robert Kiyosaky's last book is worth reading as all his and his wife's books.
  • "Work sharing" sounds like one of these socialistic "rescue plans". So unfair working side by side with some co-worker who just wants to get through the day, hopefully without working too hard so he has power to play snooker all night..and you get the same salary!
Our business is so fair because you get paid for the value YOU create. We do have a better way!
  • Everyone should be involved in a home based business just for the TAX advantages alone. The benefits of having a home based business should be taught to our kids in school.
  • I don't know why but I found that episode funny. Great points as always but "work sharing" - I guess next they'll come up with a "bill sharing plan."
  • ericworre
Hahaha, they already have that in the tax code! :)
  • So important to know those details. My husband has been with the same company for 11+ years... He has survived about 1/2 a dozen or more layoffs... I know we'll be ready for the inevitable. We are working on multiple streams of income. Not only does he have his job, but I have my network marketing company plus we own another growing company together.
  • Kjell Englund
    Safe is the new risky.
We see it everywere every day and only a few people understand that something is wrong. Amazing =/
  • Foord Yates
Hey Eric, thanks for another great reminder that JOBS are not secure anymore.

My father worked for the same company for 45 years.
My mother worked for a different company for 30 years.
My older brother worked for an oil company for 35 years.
My younger brother has worked for the same supermarket for 15 years.

Those are the only people I know who had that stability.

These days, no one works for the same company for any more than 3 years unless they work for the Government.

    Foord Yates.
  • latachia_2
Nothing is secure, even though you have been at a place for 15 years. They make up reasons,or lure you into an argument with them& fire you.(Because new owners take over& they really are just looking for an excuse to fire you,any excuse will due)It's the way of the employment world.Thank goodness there's a better way..........
  • ericworre
    Yeah, those days are over
  • Jillian
It is amazing how creative people become with new programs. and how people buy into these programs to to avoid losing their "secure" jobs. Its equally amazing at how few people are wiling to listen and be creative in becoming accountable for their own future.
  • Work sharing sounds like communism! Remember when that was a bad thing?
  • denagottlieb
    Good point, Eric.
Yet, I still understand the people who have bills to pay and families to support, being cautious and afraid. Not everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur.

I think it would be wise for alot of people who are employees to start exploring other options though, as the work force becomes less and less "secure".
  • Horrible Eric.. I read stuff like that over and over and can't believe people still will not leave there comfort zone! They are conditioned and not willing to see that there is really a better way!
