Time blockk can be a very simple first step to creating more time for yourself in your busy life to work your biz and build it.
  • aliceflanders
15 minutes at a time works well for some things. Doesn't work well for passing books. Rain does not work well either.
  • wealthandriches
Great point Eric and it only took you 6 min. to teach us it. Block out our time and make a game out of how many people we can contact in that amount of time. Use our time to build our business instead of watching that show on TV.
  • yitz613
Excellent show and a classic as "not enough time" is one of the key objections we find as we prospect and teach our group the business. thanks...
  • JenniferDu79
Thank you! I have struggled with this so much as a busy mom of a toddler who is home with me all day and then, a part time job nights and weekends when the husbands gets home. As it is it is almost 11pm when I got to sit down and catch up on my NWMPro episodes. (i will start my 15 min in the am) I can give 15 min I can carve that out. Thank you for making it seem doable, manageable. Thank you!!
  • i like the 15 min concept......K.I.S.S.!!!!
  • mspaulamc
this is super Eric .. I like the strategy ..
  • If I would you!!!!!!!n What a great question....
  • Donna Wheaton
Thanks I like the idea of 15 mins at a time.
  • jeanalbert
Working in 15 minute increments sounds so easy. Anyone can do it!
  • julie67
A good way to keep us in swing of things. Thanks Eric.
  • turjcxg
Eric, this is a great video with great lessons that can be practically applied on a daily basis. I can "see" these lessons and wrap my brain around them. Thank you so much!
  • Dylan Cooper
Love it. This is what I need to do (in every area of my life!)
  • Simon_and_Lia_NL
Was nice meeting you in Amsterdam.
The 15 minute time schedule is a wonderful tool.
So very good to work on, especially for the members in our team who work parttime on their network marketing business. So easy to explain to them about the time schedule.
Thank you Eric for providing yet another concept.
  • Lotta
This I will sent to my downline. This was good.
  • cherisizzles
I really like this one. Sometimes it is so easy to get behind in the network marketing business because I just feel so overwhelmed with my "other life." Running multiple businesses is challenging, but I often forget just how easy it is to carve out 15 minutes here and there. This one is very valuable for me!
  • lauralopez
Hi Eric I love Amsterdam specialy this place, it bring me many memories, it helps me a lot to organize my time, and most of the time I did at night, 2 hours per day.
    Thanks
    Regards

IF yu are bussy all the time you will find the time to do NM and your other job or dutties, it a metter of WANTING.
  • Lorraine
This has to be one of the best ways to attack that time management issue I have ever heard. thank Eric. So simple. Time management has always been one of my down falls. I am going to attack it in 15 min intervals. Thank you so much!
  • Edith Kohler
thanks again for all your time and and advice
  • juanfernandogutierrez
Love the two concepts; schedule the time and 15 min blocks incremental. There is always time to make money, but there is time to make excuses too!!!
  • Thank you for this liberating gift of 15 minute increments and these simple steps to improve time management.
  • chriskemp817
    15 min increments. Great concept!
  • ViktoriaGuerin
Very good technique. Just need to remember it and practice.
  • bethascoli
I like the idea of 15 minute segments, I think anyone can work those into their day no matter what excuses they have.

I have a question about something else though - if the advice is to cut back on extracurricular activities and you're already working a full-time job, what are some ways to meet more people and add to your list everyday? I think a lot of people feel isolated at their jobs and pretty much see the same people every day. Does anyone have any ideas?
  • fc34615
More than willing to increase my commitment in 15-minute intervals starting immediately.
  • barryburgin77
Understood. "If I, would you?".... I had forgotten that powerful little technique.
  • daddykekere
Eric, on the days that I've been unable to put in my 2hrs, I just let the rest of the day go off into the trash. But I realize now how i could have used the 15 min. segments to my advantage so that every day accomplishes something in the business. Thanks so much
  • rmonte
Great advise. We all have time for what we consider important. Thanks
  • happyhealthybob
15 mins dose seem easier to carve out then 2-3 hours at a time
  • Miguel Cortez
This work for a busy person.... ur right..... we build this bussinees in 15 min times... :)
  • smreed
I really like the doing business in 15 minute increments. This is a great concept. Very do-able for anyone...no excuses that there is no time!
  • Ngoc Tran
It’s simple to follow and duplicate. What a wise advice. Thanks, Eric! :)
  • Time management with sense of urgency. 15 minute time chucks with massive action during each time segment. Simple to do..and no burn out!
  • martinvf
15 minutes focused on doing the business.
    "If I ____, would you____???"
  • garyparmenter
Everyone can find fifteen minutes to make calls or write down lists. Great advice !
  • Inger
Scheduling time and... Let others know that you reserved that time.
Everybody has 15 minutes to spare.
  • kgadol
I like it! Anyone can do something for 15 minutes.
  • Connie Tolton
Thanks for breaking it down into bearable time segments
    Connie T
  • paulinep
    Always great ideas!
  • beckydesabah
I will put this in practice this week. 15 minutes sounds much more "affordable" than an hour or two.
  • nikigombis
!5 min. sounds so much more manageable. I can do that.
  • Pepeneto
It´s not about time, It´s about priorities. Because I want full time to do whatever I want in the future, I need to "sacriface" some time in the present. It's like savings or investments, you need to "sacriface" money to spend today, in order to spend more in the future or even better, to have a bigger capital in the future.
  • Fifteen minute segments to call prospects to intro my product is a great concept. I will do that this week. Thank you, Eric.
  • gjt
i like the idea of scheduling the time instead of hoping for time that never does work out
  • robbinsaturniewicz
Time management is a problem. I will work on scheduling better.
  • ronaldvandomburg
i will go down to spend 15 minutes making a list of people i'm going to call tomorrow morning
  • denagottlieb
Oh gosh. Time management sure is my achille's heel.
    Thanks for the reminder!
  • Jessi
I think we can all find 15 minutes, at least a few times a day!
  • raybeattie
15 minute increments, I love that. Great concept.
  • Bernadette
That was great information. If you have a job you ususally have to go at a scheduled time, so scheduling time for your MLM is even more important.
  • travelprohawaii
Wow I learned something new again! I love the 15min concept! I have been killing myself over wasting 2hours of time. COOL! Thanks!
  • gloriavintila
So simple, yet so inspiring, so efficient: breaking down the time into blocks of 15 minutes enhances the potential of time.
  • Darnell
Time management and setting blocks of 15 minutes or so to get ones interested and curious on the opportunity or product and having a sense of urgency and staying consistent will pay off so long as one stays at it. Thanks so much for this timely reminder and advice for us newbies and vets!! So nice to share views around Amsterdam!!
  • Great suggestions as always!
  • CarlosVera
If I…………..would you………….?........is everywhere, and here it is again, simplicity.

    Thanks for the great advice
  • Excellent advice Eric..
  • Consistency is always the key in network marketing. If you can be consistent, you can be successful.
  • janetrajala
Great concept-15 minute blocks of time. Will try using this on new prospects.
  • janetrajala
Will try using the 15 minute concept on new prospects. Great concept.
  • Thanks Eric, gotta start my 15 minutes. :)
  • Daniel Glez.Peña
Hola Eric, If we organice ourselves, we can do a part time job, then we can do it for more hour a day.
    Saludos.

I like simple. The older I get the less I remeber :)

    great concept

    15 minute blocks
  • Great advice. Thanks Eric.

#264 - Can't Find the Time - The advise about scheduling 15 min. increments for contacting people is invaluable. My dayrunner is my business Bible so to speak. First of all if I don't schedule it in my dayrunner, it doesn't happen. Then doing the business of contacting people in 15 min increments, makes the business do-able for busy people. And, aren't we all busy?
  • I love Amsterdam; thanks for taking me back. Great tip today on the 15 minute increment. We all have the same number of hours each day, it's how we plan that's important. "Those who fail to plan, plan to fail", I always heard. If we look at our day as in 24 hours, we have many negotiable hours we can trade for creating financial Independence. Sleep is negotiable.
  • mrmauriocrawford
    15 min increments!!! beautiful!
  • kristibateman
    Great
    Thank you Eric
  • carolmcwilliams
This is great advice that I will pass along to my team. I find that unless we carve out the time, make a commitment to actually talk to people then it doesn't happen. I love your idea about 15 minute increments as it makes it seem so doable in others minds. ALso, the time will be better utilized as we will be totally focused. I appreciate how you are giving us such great nuggets each and every day. What a gift.
  • jean_albert
Great info, 15 minute increments - I can do that!, thanks Eric
  • quincy
Ive heard of the 15min increments but never really pacticed it. I will be sure to implement this along with actually planning the time in the calendar.
  • I like the idea of the 15 min increments and 1hr chunks. this helped me given my current work schedule. i like this time mgmt tip.
  • KellyHamilton
I would like to leave you with a short testimony from a homemaker who is also a Networkmarketing Professional.
I spend about an hour each morning wih my coffee or several coffees, kiss my husband goodbye as he heads for work, reading my emails, writing my blog and building those new relationships with potential clients. Then, I take the time to get my kids ready for school, do up the breakfast dishes, clean the house, look after my mentally challenged foster son and get him comfortable for the dayand then it is lunch time. I seem to have the time to get everything done from 6:30 to 12:00. After lunch is when I schedule appointments and get out to see people or I schedule time with my business partner to work on topics for our networking meetings. Then my kids get home from school at 4pm and it is homework and supper. Sometimes we work on these after supper as well. My point to all of this is....you do have the time, if you choose to make the time. Some tasks might get put off for a couple of days,(like running a mop over the floor), so what!!! You have to decide what is more important to you. I feel that I spend the right amount of time with everyone and everything in my life. Sometimes I am able to give a little extra time to my family, friends, husband, and even my housework. It all depends how you choose to work it out. Right now it is working out beautifully for me. I love being a Network Marketing Professional!! My thanks to everyone who helpied to get me this far and especially to Mr. Eric Worre for his continued support from every video.

    Love to All

  • Sense of urgency is an excellent way to describe what a busy successful person looks like. 15 minutes will add up quickly over a long period of time.
  • Maxwellhealth
Urgency projected in both personal and professional life is a powerful motivator for those you really want to partner with....people who act with purpose and urgency will be your 20% er's!
  • hpena
I had heard this before many many years ago and had forgotten about it. Thinking back to any of my NM activites, it makes the most sense. Those 15 blocks of time are very powerful and also very duplicatable.

    Nando
  • Paco_Carreno
this is the area I have to work on... thanks for sharing!
Priorities, Schedule my time... I got it!
  • This is really powerful informaton. Everybody can make a planning of 15 minutes. Just step by step.....little by little. I'm gonna put it in my daily routine. Best regards from your biggest fan.
  • This is so important. If you have those spots where you DO the work, and you do it with full focus, you will get more done, than if you never schedule your work...Then the time just passes by..
Plan your week, with your work, family, your own time for your self to read/rest, and the time when you focus on your business....
By the way....Amsterdam looks nice =)
  • Agneta Rebo
This is great! Everyone can get 15 minutes.
  • hillin
Jim Rohn thought us everything we need to know and thank you Mr Worre to pass it on.
  • 264:
    Hey all,
Schedule your time vs trying to find the time
    Contacting, presenting, following up
15' slots! as often as you can!
    tks
  • MagnusEdvald
Good advice. Planing the day in 15 minutes is far better than planing it hour by hour. Helps you understand the value of time as well. Ordinary daily planers, or journals usually have two lines per hour, a line for every 30 minutes. That is the hour and 30 minutes past the hour. It is interesting that specialist journals for professionals like dentists and lawyers have a 4 to 6 lines per hour. These are the people that sell their time. When I got a journal like that I understood the value of time better.
  • Ryan
Sound advice. I'm going to try it.
  • marvalouslife1
It's not the time that you should manage. it's yourself you need to manage within the time. we all have 24 hours a day.
find yourself 5-10 hours a week and just use them to do your MLM business. if you have a meeting with a lawyer, nobody will disturb you, right? the same with MLM. while you do this, don't let anyone distract you.

    Ron Ackerman - Israel
  • Jillian
Great advice - its a lot easier to work in smaller increments but make it productive and focused
  • Sense of urgency... Great stuff as always Eric!
  • it is all about discipline and priorities.
  • Good point Eric, focus on "rainmaker-activity", which is: contact, present and follow-up. Everybody can find 15 min. segments to work. It´s easier to be effective for 15 min.s than 2 hour, so this "carving-out-time" philosophy is great!
  • Bea Resnick
This is clearly a duplication point. Many people may question whether or not they have 10 hours a week. But everyone will see there are many 15 minute chunks each week. If we do it, they can do it.
  • caronwashington
Prospect, present and follow-up...all income producing activities. Who can't find 15 minutes to build their financial future?
  • I love this!!! More practical counsels on what to do, exactly, by the minute! To me, it is like learning a new language: I might, already, know a few words but I can, finally, learn how to connect them and make understandable sentences. The urgency, created by the 15 mn, gives to our actions an energy tha tis absolutely brilliant.
  • Great advice!
  • Tarashon Broomes
15 minutes increments is definitely feasible..if one can work in 15 minutes increments productively a lot can be accomplish
  • billrogers
Focus! Focus! Focus! 15 minutes to carve out, can't make it any simpler than that.
  • I find it is much simpler to schedule out blocks of time for phone calls and follow ups. It definitely takes discipline, and at the end of the day, you know you can say you produced something great.
  • latachia_2
Wow! Amsterdam looks like such a unique place& a very calm one too.
Schedule your time& tell your family.
Do it in 15 min incriments for 1st&3rd disapline7 half hour to hour for the second. Do as many 15 min incriments as you can get in.But do schedule out the time.
  • Eric, Good Stuff, one quarter of an hour several times a day. I think even with my schedule I can do this.
  • sjwilliamson
15 minutes sounds very doable. Good place to start
  • crwood1967
WOW! For those of us who work 60-70hrs per week at our full-time jobs all have problems balancing our lives, family, work and job! Thanks for the info. We all need to schedule it like a real part-time job.
  • turjcxg
Eric, the 15-minute concept that you presented is so great! It really makes me feel like this is very possible. Thank you once again for everything you have done for us with NMPRO!
  • racingworm
That makes things a little easier. Everyone has 15 minutes at a time.
  • Dylan Cooper
15 minutes at a time is achievable. It takes away a lot of stress.

  • Ria Leermakers
Just came home from the meeting in Amsterdam.
Didn't hear enough Eric for one evening, so decided to listen and look to this one too.
It's 1.30 AM in Holland now, and tomorrow it will be very necessary to manage my time well.
I think the 15 minute bloks are a great way to improve the number of contacts I can make in a week.
I can even do this during a break at my work!
    Start this tomorrow!
Thanks for a great evening and a great lesson on NMPro.
  • rosslopez
I like that =o) contacting people, product exposure, follow up, personal development, etc can be done in chuncks of 15 minutes. We may not have hours in a specific day to move on to the next level to our business but we do have 15 minutes that we can use to improve in many things, now there are no excuses to do something daily.

Thanks for this great tip Eric
    Hugs from Mexico
    Rossana =o)
  • karivankleef
Managing my time has been a huge help in growing my business. I have always been a time waster but if I want to accomplish everything in one day I just schedule it in my calendar, amazing how it all seems to get done.
  • onemartymac
Make the time... for your future and Learn the business and Go Pro. Great advice. Thank you
  • bartonmurray
    make the time...
  • germarl
Great advice - I really like the simplicity !!
  • Core lesson, thanks Eric
  • karenandian
15 minute increments are so DOABLE!!! Thank you Eric!
  • keithraines
Good idea to divide the biz into segments
  • Love the scenery Eric! Thanks for sharing so many amazing places with us.
The tip on the 15 minute increments is wonderful. What a great way to think about it.
Thanks for all that you do for us.
    Make it a great day!
    God Bless,
    -ed
  • georgeman
Awesome advise, this will help me majorly.
  • In people's minds, they are so busy that they don't have time for ANYTHING else. But it's amazing how much time is wasted every single day. Carving out 15 minutes at a time is a great way to re-capture some of the lost time. If you have to pick up your kids, show up 5-10 minutes early and bring some phone numbers to call. Sit in the parking lot at work for 15 minutes and call during lunch or right after work. Get creative.

Letting your family know is a great idea. I'm sure that all of us could find 3-4 fifteen minutes time slots every day, if we wanted to. Where is your business on your list of priorities? If it's important to you, then you will make sure to schedule some time for your business every day.
  • Lisette
    Another good advice.
  • theuns
    Hi Eric

I start to do it this last month and wow suddenly I have more time on my hands for thing i do not have time for if a person can do what you just teach us they will find that they do not need more than 24 hours in a day.

    Thanks
  • gkamlm
Great suggestion, managing time as a person doing this business part time is tough and takes focus.
  • BetterCoffee.dk
I like the 15 minutes increments!

Especially if someone is not yet comfortable doing the prospecting, this will work very well.
"Just do it for 15 minutes a day!"
  • anthonyviglietta
Well done Eric. Everyone.....pay attention. I think the mantle has been passed down. From Mr. Jim Rohn, who left us back in December, to Eric Worre.
  • HoracioMejia
I liked the 15 minute increment advise. One big thing usually is made of many small things. 15 minute blocks will eventually get us to the 10-15 hours a week we need to be successful, and we will realize that we did have that time to invest in Network Marketing. I can do 15 minute increments.
  • Scheduling your time in this business is extremely important. I don't have a J.O.B. and still find that if I don't make a schedule, things do not get done.
  • Another great concept.....15 minutes seems so much easier to manage. I will be adding this to my professional system !
  • Time Management is so true. I like the "15 min" increment scenerio. Thanks for re-inforcing this again. Something we can all pay attention to.
  • 15 minutes. I can do that.
  • krisic
This is so helpful! I struggle with time management often. It's a skill I need to develope and your advice today was perfect. thanks!
  • drmikempa
developing the skill of mastrering the phone is the single most important thing we can do.
  • agelfederico
You are the man Eric, and Amsterdam looks like a beautifull city
  • talya_mitzafon
Thank you Eric for remminding us this tip. You already spoke about it few month ago.
those short tips are very helpful.
  • MarvinTowler
This is a great, great tip! And it is exactly what has been missing from my business.
  • Bjorgli
If I ------, would you? That's true. Thank you!
  • The 15 min. idea is great because it also helps with your posturing as a busy person.
  • It looks much easier to manage your time if you have a schedule and make some priority list.
Everyone can find 15 minutes for phone calls, but you have to do them right - to speak to five prospects within this time, not to just one.
Thank you Eric, your tips are as always very useful.
  • timandtricia
Thanks for that great tip. 15 minute segments. Very cool. No more excuses. Anybody can do that if they really want to.
  • Earl
Schedule the time! (contact people, first exposure, or follow up and taking them to the next part)
Fifteen minute chunks! Got it! HUGE!!!! Thanks!
  • ybimbalanced
This may be the best piece of advice I've ever gotten on buisness building, thank you! I am forwarding this to everyone in my group.
  • Sometime it is the simple things that can make all the difference.
  • Bryan_in_KC
I've never been very good at time management, but lately I have been focusing more on it and .. guess what... my business is growing. Gee, you think there's a connection?
  • brianhepner
I can do 15 Minutes. And so can my team. Great Stuff. Thank you for the value.
  • taolin
that is what i need Eric, thank you for the knowledge!!!
  • Great advice.
    Chunk it down
15 minute blocks connecting and follow- (up) through.
One hour chunks for being in front of people (not getting" people).
We have a system that works with busy peoples' schedules. (you can do this too)
Love the competetion- How many can you (I) call in the 15 min. block?
Keep calls shorter, respect other people's time as well (duplication)!
  • Wow! Never heard about that 15 minute increments! That is an amazing concept! Thank you Eric!
  • Hi Eric. Time-management is one of the most important things to learn in NM and I than you for helping us! / Linda, Sweden
  • chipc
15-minute time blocks make it sound more manageable. then people are more likely to actually do it.
  • dstfa96
As usual Eric..great advice! I am about to make some calls and see how many people I can talk to in 15 minutes!
  • 15 minute chunks of time are great to maintain the intensity and enthusiasm level required when making the calls.
    For me...I enjoy switch tasking.....
    15 min phone > pushups > 15 min phone > jumping jacks > 15 min phone > jog in place >15 min >>??
  • eabus
    Good point Eric, thank you.
Self-management or activity management is a crucial art to be mastered as decision making is.
  • 15 minute chunks of each hour to complete tasks. Some will take multiple chunks... Everyone gets 24 hours a day and uses every single one. Burn the candle at both ends and you will pay dearly. IF you are worth, say earning a million dollars a year and you only wanted to work 40hours a week to accomplish that, each hour must produce $500 or more. [Gives you 2 weeks off a year] Networking actually allows you to produce during all 24 hours of the day. If you can begin to see how to duplicate your efforts and time each hour only needs to produce at least $114.16 to generate the same million dollars. Each 15 minutes must potentially produce $28.54. Working your business pays well if you make the right choices and learn from the wrong ones.
  • jpmendoza
Fifteen minutes at a time is so workable especially with all that goes on in a day. Turn off the TV & get on the phone!
  • That is a different way of looking at it
My problem has been getting time and I was thinking of 1 hr. blocks
15 min. is a good way of looking at it
Now I just need to get phone numbers
When I first started I made a list and I have gone threw that list twice
  • Irina
    Great video as always!
    Thank you for your time!
  • Eric, I'm grinning like a Cheshire cat! What a great show (again).

Brilliant practical advice from the Master once again and the infectious enthusiasm comes across in these short clips every time. A task always expands to fit the time allocated so keep it short and take action.

Just got to start fixing my 15min slots now without the Mrs finding out :-) (she's got a downer on my opportunity at the moment).
  • Jeroen Lingier
timemanagement is the secret of the rich:
    We learned about 2 principles:
    1. Schedule your time you'll spend working your business
    2. If you haven't got much time: use 15min timeblocks.
    Thanks for the advice.
    Greetings,
    Jeroen Lingier from Kuopio Finland

The 15 minute increment concept is great for busy people. Sometimes I feel that I'm even more effective when I only have a few minutes, because I don't have time for distractrions.
  • Thank you, I'm going to let my family watch this so the now what i'm doing. They will like this 15 minute time idea. Plus it will help me be more forcused.
  • Jose Lopez
What a great little secret! I have used this concept for a while and one of the big rewards of it is, specially in regards to the invitation, is that you are so focused on it, that your energy and enthusiasm builds on from call to call and that has a great impact on prospects. At the end of the 15 mins you are an invitation machine !! Versus, making a phone call here and there, casually, as you drive or work on the computer, where the energy is not 100% focus on the prospect and the opportunity.
  • What terrific advice-15 minute high impact intervals! Anyone can do this! we can apply it to many things-taxes...exercise...paperwork etc! Terrific! It is going into coaching program and mentoring advice NOW!
  • Marion
Great advice for people who can't manage their time.
15 min increments is definitely more manageable and less daunting
  • For get the group... I HAVE THIS ISSUE! Thanks for this and i will pass it to my team as well!
  • I do many 15 minute time periods, sometimes even 5 or 10 minutes.
  • great example on how to use small blocks of time!
  • margarethockaday
excellent concept. will use the 15 minute increments
  • This is a great answer to those who refuse our opportunity because they are too busy! We run into all the time!
  • christinaglazar
As usual great advise - I always start my day with you Eric and my second cup of coffee - thank you!
  • brigittapatel
Excellent advise will but the 15 minute schedule into practice.
    Thanks amillion
  • gmeyerson
great episode, who doesn't have 15 minutes?
  • 15 minute chunks... like someone with adult ADD :-) Great advice
  • kayanita
Thanks Eric, Now who cannot duplicate this simple tip for success? Only 15 minute segments. All those busy people who are sure they do not have the time to build their business...this is a big help to them.
  • Episode 55 of Eric Worre's 100 Episode Throw Down Challenge:

Great Episode Eric.. The scenery is really cool too.. In an earlier episode you mentioned breaking it down to 4- 30 blocks per day.. Is this a different model than what you're talking about today? I 'm guessing it is. 15 minutes for people who have time management issues vs 30 minutes for people who have figured that aspect out somewhat.. Am I on the right track here? I think 15 minute increments is a GREAT IDEA even for full timers. As someone mentioned earlier 15 minutes of white hot action is better than 1 hr of non urgent action.

    Thanks again Eric,

    BB
  • MattinJaxfl
Fifteen minutes of concentrated activity can definitely beat one hour of non-urgent action any day. Great way to make daily action seem less daunting after a day working for da man.
  • kgoren
I like what you said about carving out 15 minute increments. I'm one of those mother/housewife/real estate agent/interior designer/etc. type people that need to manage time. So when you put it down to 15 minute increments...I can do that!!!
  • Arnold Thompson
15 minutes at a time... Very easy to do and very easy to duplicate.
  • If you don't have the time you don't have a strong enogh WHY! So find your why.
    Alex Tita
    Here as promised
  • latachia_2
?????? Huh???? I think most anyone can find 15 mins.!
  • Absolutely they can. Actually they can MORE than 15 min WHEN they have a strong enough WHY.
  • 15 min for freedom... could call it my freedom 15
  • Thanks for the tip today, Eric...time management broken into 15 minute increments sounds good to me. I always looked at it as needing a couple of hours here and there.
  • jlt0wn
So true. I know when I stick to the time I've carved out for my business I'm much more successful. That also show true commitment to making it all work, which at times, I lack.
  • nenette
    Great advice....Thanks
  • SJ Doug
    Good tips Eric!
  • TAbrams
Time management is so critical in any business but especially our profession as many people do work the business into their already busy lives.

Working the business in 15 minute intervals allows anyone who wants to work it to be able to fit it in. I find when individuals tell me they are too busy, this response is most often an excuse. I too, was very busy with two other businesses, working 80-100 hours weekly prior to being introduced into this profession however I made time.

The "15 minute" example is great... it relates back to the how can you eat an elephant? A bite at a time...
  • Kjell Englund
    Good advice, Thanks Eric
  • ritafulton
Love 15 minutes and "if I..would you" works. Such a simple concept that I have destroyed over the past few months until NWM Pro taught this ..THANKS!!
  • Pete
Great advise....and, I needed the reminder
  • bryantkeefe
As always you are keeping it simple! I have 15 minutes right now. Thanks Eric!
  • jerryscribner
Excellent training Eric. When people tell me "I don't have time" I simply ask "during the week do you find yourself in 10-15 minute increments aimlessly surfing the web or watching the TV?" That question kills the I don't have time dilemma because everyone answer YES. Hope that helps someone out there
  • carybennett
Eric, Again thanks for what you do and the always different scenery as well.. Have fun I know you are.
  • FrankMarshman
Thanks, the 15 min concept is excellent. Time management has always been one of my weaknesses which I am working on changing as I work on changing myself.
  • jeffreyhall
Regardless of the profession, time management is the most critical element. There's 24 hours no more no less. It is yours to do with as you wish.
  • enrique62
    15 minutes increments
  • Steve_Nelson
Zig Zigler has a saying that goes something like; "People without goals are a wandering generality." I am going to set a new goal to have a minimum of one day in advance scheduled out. Otherwise I find myself doing too many spur of the moment type things like cleaning up the garage! Thanks Eric Worre
  • NANCY Eldred
I like how you've broken down the Time Management into Time Increments.
15 minutes / 30 minutes / 2 hours etc with specific examples on what to do.

This way we feel like we are really accomplishing our goals, and making things happen !!

You do a great job in scouting out some of the most beautiful areas when filming your shows abroad. Your shows not only sound good they look good too !!
  • pollyhulseman
I was just talking to one of my business associates about time management and trying to fit everything in to my day. This makes it seem so much more doable and keeps with the consistancy of working your business everyday and not just sometimes.
  • artdlasvegas
Thanks Eric, as always, great usefull info!!!
  • Kathy
Ability to manage your time leads to success. Thanks, Eric.
  • Dee_Canada
Thanks again Eric...I love the practical advice. How TO...sooooo important!!
  • Dave S
Eric - While attending grad school, working full time and raising three children with my wife, I learned to appreciate every little 15 min increment that I could find to get something valuable accomplished. You are right on. Thanks for the reminder.
  • rasdaniels
What a concept - 15 minutes a day!!! Love it
  • Mark_Abrahams_UK
Echoing a couple of my UK friends who have also commented, this is indeed 'TIMELY'.
To make network marketing work we must not only listen and learn from our leaders and sponsors, we must also become who we need to be to be successful. Then we must 'go do it' - take responsibility, be professional. We must do the time.

Also, the incremental time idea, though obvious, is a great concept for already busy people. And, of course, like many obvious things and ways of thinking, we need to take note of the clearly obvious and change our habits and behaviours. Only if we change ourselves will many of us be successful - yet we only need change to duplicate what we know will not only work but which is a better way - even if it is, at times, only in 15 min slots.

    Thanks again Eric

Very good tips. I liked very much and i felt challenged. I will beging to put that tips in practice.

Only a question. When you say use the 15 minutes blocks to call somebody, i didn't undertand very good why did you say..."call to expose the product" or as you teach us... if i...would you?" if in this moment we are only contacting the prospect to make an aproach or to invite to a meeting to watch the video? When we are on the phone, don't supose that we are only contacting?

Or maybe is for send a link an after that a followin up call to next exposure?

    Bye..From Colombia,

    -GJ
  • yuvalcohen

Thanks Eric, this concept will help me out . I've struggled with the time commitment but I believe this will help.
  • denisekay
    Less TV! Makes good sense.
  • Katie N
Ironic topic.I will finish listening after my day job.
  • hlj521
Awesome! 15 Minutes...If I ________Would you_____? Love it. This is going to help me with not only my time but also teaching others how to fit the business into their lives!
  • Cee_G
Yes this is a great recommendation. Does not seem so insurmountable this way. Great episode. Love the backdrop!
  • Like so many things it makes sense when you reduce it . I've been trying to figure out how to carve out a continuous couple of hours to build my business but I see I don't have to cram it all into one block.

    Thanks!
  • eddyoshaughnessy
I am a full time distributor and I still find that its very easy to waste time , what I find of great help is having daily goals to keep me focussed
  • alltheverybest
    Q. How do you eat an elephant? A. One bite at a time! Or in this case 15 minute chunks! Nice.

Eric, Thanks for the great advice. I also wanted to share something else that has really helped me find my time. I have studied a lot of Tim Sales material, as well, and he put together a great manual on Building MLM Part Time...http://www.firstclassmlmtools.com/...People can download it from free. Thanks for the great videos.
  • It's been a powerful week! Thanks for teaching and sharing the scenes has well.
  • heatherbrocklehurst
I am that busy homemaker. Fifteen minute increments IS doable. If I do that 4 times throughout the day, I've dedicated an hour to my business that day. Hey Eric, a question...can you share some organizational skills that people can use to be ready to go in those 15 minutes?
  • peterburrows
for those in employment, you could slot those 15 min activity sessions into breaks and lunchtime, without eating into any family time....
    Work smart, not hard.
  • gabisahar
    Dear Eric,
    Thatk was a strong one!!!
15minutes, however, you need to have your list of names ready!!!!
Thanks a lot, I got it!
  • claralondono
15 minute "breaks" combiened with 1 or 2 hour "chunks",,,can do that....Thanks Eric
  • mariasiro
wow, now I got a good tool when people so often say No because they don't have time...
  • Good idea! Thanks Eric.
  • gillym1
    Excellent tips thanks Eric!
  • 1. Schedule your time. Make priorities.
    2. Build your business in 15min at the time. Make as many calls as you can in 15min.
    * contacting people
    * presenting
    * following up.

Thank you for another great advise :)
  • Great stuff. Very very helpful and timely.

    Thank you.
  • pech
Time can never be the real reason for people not to join the bussiness. It can only be a bad excuse.
  • randyhendrickson
I liked this advice today. I find this works well for me
  • Gakungu
That's great advice. Good time management helps avoiding killing time.
  • 15 minute chunks to network with people, great advice, thanks Eric
  • meagankellytorres
I love that. We can all carve out little increments. There really is no excuses.
  • chocolatelifesaver
Using a calendar schedule book is the key to keeping focused but you have made it more logical just like 1-3-5-7 now there is the 15 minutes, 60 minutes, followup skiddo. Very helpful to always look at NWMPRO from another perspective!
Going from being a poser to a pro in a shorter time. Thanks Eric.
  • tomlacey
Excellent tip. SCheduling and breaking tasks that seem overwhelming down into managable chunks is truly a key way to manage an activity.
  • soxfan071
Schedule the time. Great Idea. When I do this I am way more productive then when I just say I'll do it some time today. Thanks for the reminder.
  • wouterdeprez
This is a very good advice!
  • "As soon as you have emptied the dishwasher you can watch TV".
I use this method with my children with their homework, chores etc and it works.
It sets an instant reward for accomplishing the task therefore the task is no longer the ugly monster, it's simply a means to get the reward.

To tie it in here . . . When I talk to X people in 15 minutes THEN I can go watch TV.
This also takes away the painful thought one attaches to having to give up stuff to do the business, and when that culture is bred through the group it completely blows the 'no time' problem and teaches that this really can be done part time.

    Great segment Eric.

PS: The canal looks familiar. Is it the one you and Randy Gage were meandering down in one of your earlier shows? What a lovely place.
  • #264 time management
Why is time management important? Because
When all is said and done, more is said than done.
  • I can totally agree with you on this Eric... when I started scheduling my days my life became so much simpler. To think all I had to do was write a schedule, keep it, and limit my TV intake and because of it, my business increased substantially!
  • peterragg
    Eric is spot on here.

Making the most of any time you have and talking to people is the no: 1 here.

There are two things I just want to reiterate.

    1. Eric says, this business requires a minimum of 10 hours a week at the start, he is totally right, this you must committ to. It is not possible to be successful with doing a couple of hours a week, because I know a lot of people who have only put that amount of effort into their businesses and guess what they are not successful.

    2. You only spend 10 - 20% of your 10 hours doing any social media or website stuff. The rest of the time you are on the phone (your computer is switched off) or in front of people. People think being glued to their screen doing social media stuff is Network Marketing, sorry guys not true.

    Have a great day
    Peter Ragg
  • eabus

Time management, always can be improved.
  • Great show Eric, for most newcomers time management is the biggest problem in my experience.
  • carolbarrett
Great tips Eric. Schedule your time, 15 minute increments, make a contest out of it. So simple.
  • Erik
Yes you have mentioned this earlier, 30 min chunks I think you called it , but Great tips as usual. I`m going to start on "CD" 8 very soon of the GOPRO program. Great value so far. I will listen to them one more time and come back to you with feedbacks :)
