Big events are key, we are always building and promoting to the next event and especially the next BIG event. Each person will really expand their vision, I've always come away with 1 or 2 key concepts that really bridges a gap.
  • Robert_Bo
Thank you for the wonderful message.
  • Mailen
Event gives all so much energy that everything is possible after the event is over ..
  • ronaldvandomburg

    It certainly did for me!
  • CarlosVera
I haven't been in one yet, but with everything I read I think my first time will make it addictive..................
  • Timea Dani
Yes, event change really everybodys life. We can try to describe what we heard or learned on the events but we can't give buck the feeling we had there.
  • Don't miss the events they change lives. We haven't missed an event in the 10 years we have been involved in Network Marketing, it has helped us through the winters
  • It is absolutely true, and a few years we attended our first big event, and if we haven't gone to that event, we would never have started our business, and we should not have been here today. That is a fact! Attending big events make you grew and to expand your efforts..
  • After big events I feel different. This feeling is weird , I don't know how to describe it. Big events helps in many ways.
  • Daniel Glez.Peña
Hola Eric, Well done Lets go to Las Vegas¡¡¡ Every event change our life¡¡

  • Susan Johannesson
I trust you when you say so. I made a promise to myself that I will go to all major events and I have also done so this far. Now my work will be to get more people from my downline to get there too.
  • I already have.....Big events are huge!
  • Agneta Rebo
To really use the energy-boast you get from the event make shure that you have meetengs set up in the days after the event. Everyone you meet will see you glow of that energy.
  • pollyhulseman
This is so true - events do change your vision!
  • Events can change your life because of the boast of energy you get from it!
  • germarl
Events grow the vision and share the energy !!

    Big Events Change Everything! MLMPro#360
Get to the next convention.Big live events change everything!
  • Getting the enthusiasm built up for an event is almost as important as the event. The build up to the event is like the red carpet for the Oscars. The excitement builds up until the day and hour of the event when everything then goes to a whole new level. Thank you, Eric.
  • Eric, For every company I've been involved with my sponsor's have always told me successful people attend all the events. Not only do they attend but the leaders in their group attend. I see how true this is everyday.
  • TAbrams
I am glad to hear the result from the fundraiser and that we were all able to contribute and be at least a small part of that.

Events change people's lives. Events allow people to see things first hand and take people's faith and convert it to belief and raise their energy overall tonality and posture to the next level.

We all need to become world class promoters... Get people to your events and your organization will explode.
  • SherryB
Eric, congratulations on the amazing fund-raising! Blessings to you and yours for using your business and influence in such a life-changing way for so many. Awesome! Great inspiration!
  • Events are stimulating and keeps us up to date on the company. Thanks Eric.
  • Shane Wright
On my way to Dallas right now to our Big Event.

The event culture is the most important thing that 've learned from go-pro, well reminded here!
  • NANCY Eldred
WOW .. great success on the fundraiser .. mind blowing results

Great way to show that kind of outcome for this business

  • Gslam
Congrats! Wonderful effort by all. Great mlm statement "Meeting make money, Events change lives!"
  • Great fundraiser event and good example of how it also works in our business.
  • tomlacey
Excellent advice. Glad to hear all of the little piece from everyone helped so may people.
  • Big event drive business! I can't wait till ours in Sept. Don't forget to mention to bring your prospects. It will blow their mind!
  • Dylan Cooper
Absolutely true. You can't even describe how much difference a major event makes.
  • "Without vision, the people perish." Plain and simple.
Raise my expectations of what can happen
    and
    more will.
    Simple.

    To your success! dave
  • Bones
I found that to be true for me too- going to my first big event was powerful, and then there were four a year, and each got me deeper and deeper.
  • dstfa96
Meetings make money and events change lives! I am going to focus on attending as many meetings and events with my entire team!
  • bethascoli
Absolutely true! I remember my first MLM convention, people told me it would be life-changing and I thought they were just talking, but they were absolutely right. When you get into a company there are often still doubts, until you get to an event, that's when the company gets into you.

Eric, I'm curious to know what Chandler got out of the Starkey event. Maybe you should interview him as he clearly wants to be on the show! :)
  • I have never been to a big MLM event, a number of small ones, but never a really big one.

I realize that this is something I am missing out so my plan is to attend one within the year.

I have to admit I wouldn't mind going to one where both Eric and Randy spoke.

    Great advice as usual Eric.
  • margarethockaday
Events open minds to the possible from the impossible.
  • Victoria
Great advice! Funny young man behind you! :-)
  • carybennett
Such a true statement the big event make it even more real and opens your eyes to what you can do .
    Thanks Eric
  • agelfederico
Looks like it is a great thing what you are doing with and for the Starkey Foundation, and its nice to be a part of if it, thank you very much for the opportunity. Completely agree that events change the world.
  • seija
So very true, Big Events are life changing
  • So true that the events are what drives the business belief. Everyone needs that "aha" moment and they are usually found or happens at an event of some kind. Conventions are key.
  • susanclark
#359 - Big MLM Events Change Lives - I totally agree, Eric. The big events can be where the billionth of a volt goes off that can change your life forever.
  • MarvinTowler
That my friend is called a LEGACY!!! And as far as today's topic yes! When I attended my company's big event last spring it absolutely made what I do real!!!
  • mrmauriocrawford
Starkey is a great organization. Thanks for making us aware of the Eric.
  • timandtricia
Wow...what a great story and super example of the power of events and what an inspired leader can accomplish. One question. Do you see any time when events are a negative influence? It seems like they can cut both ways sometimes. Good, well attended events can be very inspiring for a number of reasons, no doubt. But bad events with really small numbers and "the same old faces" can be pretty depressing and provide the wrong kind of social proof. Anybody have any thoughts about this.
  • Events....Energy.....Excitement.....Enthusiasm......Eric.........need I say more......I live in the Minneapolis area and have been to the Starkey Gala in the past. Watching all the publicity in the media leading up to and during the last weekend regarding the event, shows how important big events are. The big stars really turn out for the Starkey Foundation, so many less fortunate are able to have the gift of hearing.

    Well done Eric.....
  • Great job Eric! That is amazing that you were able to help so many people.
  • ockaren
I've got to get busy - our 2nd National Convention is in approx. 9 weeks and I've got to get some people there!
  • Absolutely true. Facts tell, Story's sell. Meetings makes money! Thanks for this reminder. Best regards from your biggest fan.
  • kgoren
I love attending the major events. You are absolutely correct. They are incredibly motivating. Great job in getting the NMP community involved in paying it forward for such an incredible cause.
  • Dpauletig
WOW...Chandler CLEARLY has star potential!! :0) Se YOU at the next big event!!
  • Dancingwithjoy
Yes, I want to see and feel the big picture!!! Thank you.
  • great reminder! I'm actually going to my event this month and this show is great timing!
  • Gakungu
Lol! Your son's cameo was hilarious! Thanks for the update and great information, Eric. Looking forward for tomorrow.
  • David1pierson
Great points Eric, but what do you say to people who are flat broke, how do you get them there??
  • Hey David, there are people who are 'mentally broke' and those who are 'broke' but have desire. Me? I work with the second and avoid the first. As the saying goes "you can't push a rope." It applies to those who are mentally broke, you can't inspire their desire to make a positive change. They have got to -decide- that they are sick and tired of being broke, their decision. Now I can lead by example but if they aren't ready for a positive change then nothing will happen. When they are ready, their options open up. My 2¢ to your success! dave sommers
  • Marina
There is Nothing impossible on this earth! If you are committed to do something... really..., you'll find a way to make it work. Just be a little bit creative.

There is a kid, his name Lucas, he raised $11,000 to Starkey Hearing Foundation!!! He doesn't have those money. He got his hearing aids from Starkey for free and he knows, what does it mean to don't be able to hear your Mom and Dad, friends, simply life. So he did the garage sale and went to some offices and told his story, why he is doing this. And guess what? He brought $11,000 almost all in $1 bills. He continue to do this all time and going to raise more. So... As we say: If he can do, anyone can do.

    Good luck!
  • After my quick trip in and out of North America earlier this month I am looking forward to the event in September like I did as a kid looking forward to Christmas. My negative feelings regarding events have always been about my unrealistic expectations and never the event itself. The most significant days of my life have all occurred attending an event. A few defined my life by what was available before the event and the unlimited possibilities that are present since. Defining moments lie in wait at major events. There is much to do to make it so for others this coming September. Thank you Eric.
  • Natalie Thackston
Changing lives is what it's all about.
  • We are signed up for our NEXT 2 EVENTS within our company.. For my wife and I we need the events to keep our edge and we promote them like crazy in our organization.. Keep Rocking Eric..

  • Futrarchitek
Congrats to the Go Pro Community, Thanks for making a difference. My wife and I are new to NWM, but have committed to being at our weekly meetings, the special Saturdays, and the big corporate events. There is nothing more exciting or empowering than sharing an event with like minded people.
  • hpena
You can go your entire life looking for purpose; this past weekend, purpose found me! Events change your vision from black and white to Technicolor. Events release the greatness within you. Events help you become a citizen of the world. Being part of this community, WILL change your life as it has mine.

    Nando

P.S. When I grow up I want to be just like Chandler.
  • Michael Capilli
    Congratulations Eric!
  • Eric, you're absolutely on track. Our company is holding their annual event next month and registration ends in 15 days, you are amazing!!!!
  • FrankMarshman
As always thank for the update and encouragement.
  • brigittapatel
    Thanks Eric for the reminder.
  • carolbarrett
Meetings make money, events change lives. So very, very true. Thanks Eric.
  • Cee_G
The conference is coming up and I am looking forward to learning and being re-charged. Loved Chandler at the end!!!!!!!!
  • I hear what you are saying and I am in total agreement. I think events have a huge impact on person desire to do more. It gives them a feeling of belonging and can forever change their outlook on things. Great post!
  • Phillip
It's so true, I've heard it said that events adds a 1,000 pounds of belief to your already existing belief.
  • It was on a event that my wife decided she would help doing this business, therefore, even if you think you don't need it, it will be good for sponsoring your wife :).

    Love you all
    Alfredo Rodrigues
  • MagnusEdvald
    Good advice.
  • Michael Gordon
Absolutely brilliant that so much money was raised for the Starkey Foundation (I felt my tiny contribution was worthless, yet it clearly it was not so useless!).
I'm going to my first ever convention in about a month - most excited. Will try and get my downline to come along!
    Michael
  • Very true ... every large event I have attended had a vibe and electricity that stayed with me for months after the event was over. Powerful!

    Best,

So true - Events Change lives. This is where you get the momentum and energy to charge your team and change your life!!! Thank you Eric.
  • Erik
    Wow, fantastic job...

Yes events is such a big deal . You have to have them to cross the line, and the line is often big events. If you make them cross the line they will stay forever in most cases.
  • Mark_Abrahams_UK
Re: #360 Big MLM Events Change Lives & #359 No Complaints & No Apologies - great advice & leadership.
    Thanks again Eric
(from Gisborne, New Zealand - where I have found the bluest of blue sky thinking - a glorious day)
  • Miguel Cortez
I have my ticket for Conference.... and ready to go..... :)
  • One thing is to be at the Event yourself, that´s great, you get the energy etc.
I found that bringing people to the Event is everything.

Having the possibility to develop relations and attending the Event together,
    sharing the experience is amazing.

Relationship is the glue that makes your organization stick together, and it´s best done through Events.
  • Marion
Great news about the funds raised for Starkey Foundation and even better news for all those kids!
You have proven that Meetings make Money & Events change lives.
  • Jillian
    See you in Vegas!
  • Events are key. No doubt about it.
  • Mark_Abrahams_UK
Am looking forward to our next event.
  • aliceflanders
We had a big event at our meeting yesterday. A top person from the other side of the country gave us a presentation. She also stressed how important it is to make it to conventions etc. She also gave us some ideas how this can be paid for.
  • Kjell Englund
    So true. Thanks Eric :)
  • Jonathan
It's quite a feeling when lives change due to events like the Starkey Hearing Foundation. Eric what you do is opening eyes up to many to let them know we do have a better way. Haha and loved Chandler's cameo.
  • #360 Events change lives, NM events are:
    * like POSITIVE parties
    * learning opportunities
    * opportunities to share tips on what’s working
    * a good time to discover some secrets about company products
    * a chance to make some connections with helpful home office people
    * even more enjoyable because they’re tax deductible
    * a time to get to explore the event area
    * less expensive if you arrange ahead of time to share a room
    * often entertaining
    * a chance to see/meet role models up close and personal
  • Great Show Eric. I now truly believe that EVENTS is the single most powerful tool we have in our business. I went to my first EVENT with my company last month in Cleveland, OH to a sold out Quicken Loan Arena with 20,000+ excited and motivated reps from all over the World. That experience showed me the BIG picture and VISION of the company, which at the same time expands your BELIEF to what you can accomplish. There is another one coming up in September in Charlotte and I feel like I am going to die or something if I don't make it.LOL. My Leaders always always promote EVENTS and always say that things will change for you once you go to one......They were RIGHT.
  • Meetings make money, events change lives: Beautiful
  • Can't agree more. My organization under the leadership of Orrin & Laurie Woodward put #1 focus on building #'s at events! It is HUGE! Congrats on your fundraising accomplishments!
