We should always be mindful and respectful of what we've done to get to where we are and to potentially reap the rewards. Ultimately the harvest will be a product of our previous efforts. Good clip Eric!
  • Robert_Bo
Autumn: Its harvesting time; Harvest with no apology! Take it. Own it. You deserve it. If nothing to harvest, please don't complain! Better harvest next time. Thank you.
  • Mailen
SO true. Cant complain if you dont plant.
  • ronaldvandomburg
sounds absolutely right, but it doesn't feel always that way.
how do you find again faith and energy, when you look around and see how the harvest failed....
  • CarlosVera
Four simple videos to give a very clear lesson of what life is about. And then it starts all over again as the circle of life goes on...........

Eric, you are just great at putting things in such a simple way that it's so easy to see it............thanks!!!
  • Timea Dani
I like very much the seasons because it is so true. As you sow, so shall you reap. If you work hard you coming to se a good result. Thank you Eric I koming to remember that when I'm in the winter.
  • Winter - look out for the spring, thanks Eric
  • In NWM it is always our own work, that gives a result, and we could never blame anyone else...and for a lot of people that is hard to accept. But for many of us - that is the good part, that we could always take our business to another level - if we just make that effort....and as you say - it is really worth it.
  • Susan Johannesson
Yes, we have to stand up for what we do with no excuses.
  • Great video!
  • When "Autumn" comes you have to accept the results you have without apologies and complaining.
  • Agneta Rebo
Just look in the mirror, there you see the one to blame or cheer for.

Moral of the story............ You only reap what you sow!
  • Harvest season - fall - the time to reap what we have sown. Our harvest is our reward for all the diligence and work in spring and summer. Believe you are worthy of what you receive. Thank you, Eric, the Starkey Hearing Foundation Gala looks great, such a wonderful reward for all the good works of those people giving to those not able to hear and not able to have the hearing aids.
  • Eric, Do a little (sow) and you will get little (reap). Our rewards are almost always in line with our efforts.
  • TAbrams
Be accountable and take responsibility for your actions and your business.. No apologies and No complaints!!
  • CarlosLoureiro
    Just enjoy it all :)
  • Dylan Cooper
Great stuff. Observe, learn and try again.
  • dstfa96
I am looking forward to my team and I enjoying our harvest without apology!
  • That is the toughest thing to learn, take responsibility. I think most of my life I did not take responsibility, but thanks to Eric and randy Gage I now have a whole new mindset.

Now when I plant seeds they either work out or they don't. I don't blame others if they do not, Instead I look to see what I did and how I can do it better.

  • margarethockaday
    Be industrious like the ant.
  • coltsco
I like this thought process. It's about total self responsibility.
  • Katie N
    You reap what you sow...
  • mrmauriocrawford
Hey Eric, maybe you could help me & others to understand how not to occupy our minds w/ our silent complaints, if we fail when fall/harvest comes around. No apologies... wow. Again this is a concept unheard of until I found NMPRO. Good stuff....Really good stuff.
  • Great event you are at Eric.
  • ockaren
We are not responsible for everything that comes into our lives, but we are responsible for what we do with it. I can put my energy into looking back and complaining, or into looking-forward and taking action with a positive mind-set. My choice. You can't drive a car while looking in the rear-view mirror!
  • dianjohns
Great words of wisdom... take responsibility for our own works, no matter what the outcome....own it.
  • Dancingwithjoy
A true spiritual principle of seed time and harvest. Thanks.
  • Futrarchitek
Taking full responsibility for all that occurs in our lives is the only way to succeed. Blame debilitates us and keeps us from advancing.
  • pollyhulseman
Good stuff - take responsibility no matter what the results.
  • Michael Gordon
Yes, I'm learning to be philosophical - I'll happily accept my successes but also my failures: I'm learning from my mistakes and keen to try and do better!

    Daniel y Natali,Querétaro,México.
  • I love it....w/out apology or complaint!!! Now gotta go plant! ;-)

Congrats on what you have done for the Foundation! Quite AMAZING!!!
  • You are so right Eric, that whatever happens in my business or my life it is my responsibility. Make no excuses or apologies for our failures. Keep planting the 'seeds' and reap the 'harvest'!.. Good finish to the four seasons.
  • It is so right on that we all need to take full responsibility for our lives... Financially, spiritually, mentally and physically...

Deb and I didn't hit our goal to attend the event but we have some major players who want to help in time for next years fundraiser.. Talk to you soon about that.

It is often tough to be 100% responsible for our lives, however we cannot be successful without doing so.
  • lorirobertson7
Eric, great message it is critical that we continue to plant those seeds to see the harvest.

    Lori
  • I like it Eric, No Complaints and No Apologies. Keep planting those seeds.
  • susanclark
#359 - No Complaints & No Apologies - When coming into the fall of your business and gathering the fruits of your labor don't apologize if you are successful. Don't complain if you did not get the results you expected. Take whatever the results are and own it. Be prepared for the next spring to plant even more. Great message.
  • Amazing event. I cannot wait to participate personally. Thanks Eric. Great advice.
  • timandtricia
The idea of owning your results goes hand in hand with being grateful for your successes big and small.
  • I only complain when I get sick.

I prefer to brag and belittle.
  • Miguel Cortez
Taking Owner of ones Complaints and Excuses...... :)
  • pplcrusader
"Service to many leads to greatness" You typify the meaning of the phrase sir! Thank you for your incredible mentorship.
  • I agree you have to take ownership for your results good or bad! You are the one in control of your destiny.
  • Legaleagle131
    Hi Eric,

Great event you are attending. It would be such an incredible experience to have all your "SEASON" chapters in one program!!! Jim Rohn is in heaven proud of you, I am thankful and greatful for you here on earth for continuing his work.

  • kgoren
Plant, plant, plant. And take responsibility for whatever comes your way.
  • Being responsible for the harvest is an either all or nothing proposition. It’s like being pregnant. There will be weeds, there will seeds that are short on water and others will get drenched. Being responsible as opposed to being a set of complaints, upsets and excuses or a woulda, coulda, shoulda story provides the necessary room to plant again and again.

If you are familiar with the 100 monkeys theory, what if we have to hear the ‘seed’ a 100 times in different ways to 'get it' before we ever sow effectively ourselves? Each planting adds to our ‘critical’ number.
  • carybennett
Great series Eric, and to know that the spring can start over each time you are prospecting and sharing your opportunity over and over again.. Great lesson to learn here..
  • brigittapatel
    Own it.... I like that.
  • Jim Rohn said when it comes time for the harvest in the seasons of life. "Do so without apology. If you -are- successful then enjoy the abundant harvest. And likewise, don't complain if you -aren't- successful" Take personal responsibility for both.

This reminds me of Jim's teaching taken (loosely) from a parable in the Bible about the sower and the seed. Jim compared prospecting or sharing our story in our network marketing opportunity with the sower and the seed. We share our story/opportunity. Some get it, and some don't. Here's Jim's version of this parable.

The sower was ambitious, 'he' had excellent seed. He plants, some falls by the wayside and never grows. The birds will get some. Jim warns, don't chase the birds or it will take you out of the field.

    And he keeps on sowing.

Some lands on rocky ground where the soil is shallow and starts to grow but the first hot day it withers and dies. Realize that this is not of your making. Jim says our response should be something like this. "Isn't that interesting."

    So he keeps on sowing.

Some falls on 'thorny' grown, and as it starts growing the thorns chokes it out, the weeds overtake it. My response? "Isn't that interesting." Again, this is not of your making. He had to discipline his disappointment.

    SO HE KEPT ON SOWING.

And then some lands on excellent soil returns 30, 60 and 100 fold (times). Just like what it is in sharing our opportunity. We keep on Sowing looking for fertile soil and when we find it . . . . amazing growth.

    To your fantastic success!
Here's to fertile ground in your business.

Well said! I love this story by Jim Rohn.
  • agelfederico
    No complaints, no regrets!
  • If most people are honest with themselves when reviewing their results and focus on the correct activities they can make the right adjustments next time. I see a lot of people fool themselves thinking they are doing the right things. Plan, Do, Review! GoPro!
  • And as James Allen said, in 1903, on his book As a Man Thinketh, A man harvest what he has seeded.

    No more no less.

    Love you all

Quite simply - you reap what you sow!

Integrity is fundamental for emotional growth.
  • I am discovering that those who operate in a transparent have a better chance of growing a strong crop. People like honesty and forthrightness. Recently this has been proving true for me, as my organization has been growing. The people who are coming in tell me how much they love my leadership and my sincerity. Rest assured, my goal is to protect and defend my team. Loved the series and the concepts.
  • CarlosLoureiro
    Very nice concepts
  • Phillip
Great message and a good way to not only conduct our business but it's a good life lesson. When we 'reap what we sow' we shouldn't complain nor apologize. Very good.
  • Excellent message. We all make our own beds and must sleep in them!!
  • Natalie Thackston
Yes, embrace your success! That's part of our responsibility for our business, for our lives too.
  • The greatest thing about seasons is: You always get a second (and a third...and a fourth...etc.) change to put into practice the lessons you have learned from the previous season(s). As long as you use the past to learn for the future and you don't give up, you get unlimited chances.
  • Ruthmccrackin
It's all about properly sowing your seed. I believe in that, so I challenge myself and you to go out there a plant a multitude of seed to expect a huge harvest. I know I am expecting multiple harvest this season.

Extensive courier duties also required.

    RESPONSIBILITIES :

    THE JOB? Mother

A huge "amen". If we don't put the work in, no complaining when the results aren't there! I think it was very profound that one of the words on the board behind you was "awareness". We need that no matter where we are or what we are doing in our lives and in NM.
  • Michael Capilli
Just by adding these ideas to your arcenal each day, I believe that your success is eniviable.
  • karenandian
    Thank you Eric;
If you sow lots of seeds, nurture them, you will definitely have abundance! If you sow very little and ignore them then your results will be very little. We are 100% responsible for our own actions and outcome!
  • Olle Jonasson
Thank You Eric, for every one of the very good video you give !
So inspirating and stimulating for my goal-setting and all.
    Olle
  • Thanks for sharing your knowledge and wisdom. Best regards from your biggest fan.
  • "There are three kinds of people in this world - those that make it happen, those that watch it happen and those that wonder what in the heck happened." - Philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche

    So, go make it happen!

  • You reap what you sow. Simple really, it's down to you. No place for 'James Taggarts' in MLM!
  • MagnusEdvald
    Great.
  • I agree! Fired Up and Focused!
    Alex Tita
    Here as promised
  • Kjell Englund
    Great advice. Thanks Eric
  • Erik
Yes you must take responsibillity for your business
  • Its important to own your success but also recognize your losses. You are accountable for them both!
  • germarl
Great advise - we are each accountable to ourselves for the outcome - we can change the outcome by changing ourselves....
  • I've always been a fan of being accountable whatever the outcome. If you didn't put in the necessary work & are seeing little to no results, guess who's fault that is. OR If you worked diligently and stuck to your goals and achieved them, guess what? Now everyone will congratulate you & want to be like you! Be accountable for your success and your failures.
  • Jilllian
Thanks for all the good advice regarding the seasons and their apt analogies. It certainly looks as if the fun in fundraiser was evident.
  • carolbarrett
Great series of videos -- thanks Eric.
  • So easy to complain if the results don´t show up the way you wanted (not deserved..)
I will be a pleasure to get into the fall and reap - and I will not apologize ;-)
