Be Thankful and Take Responsibility
In America, it’s Thanksgiving week, a time to be thankful and together with family. And today, I have a message that deals with the opposite of it – complaining.
Complaining is one of the easiest things in the world to do. You can complain about your boss, our politicians, the world, inequality, etc. It’s actually become fashionable to complain all the time. You get on Facebook and complain about something or blame somebody else for some situation. There is a worldwide addiction to blame and complaining.
And you know what complaining does for you? Absolutely nothing. It won’t earn you anything. You won’t grow, get better, or learn. You’ll just become bitter. So, what’s the alternative?
One is to give thanks, but a stronger message is to take responsibility. If you don’t like an injustice, don’t just complain about it, do something about it. Take action. Create a solution for something. Stop blaming everybody else for all the problems in the world, and do something about them.
And it’s especially true for your Network Marketing business. Take responsibility for your business. Don’t blame your upline, company, products, support system, tools, events, etc. You can either complain about them, or you can do something about them.
The moment you blame somebody else and complain, you take yourself out of the ability to be happy, productive, useful, or purposeful. As soon as you take responsibility, you move into a different category. You become a member of a rare group of people who are actually making change happen in the world. Be part of that group. Don’t waste your life complaining about what other people do. This Thanksgiving week, give thanks and take responsibility.
