Who Runs The World? Women Entrepreneurs!

It may not seem like it, but the Network Marketing profession is still fairly young, especially when compared to other professions.  We are just getting started, and we are already bringing in over $180 billion in sales around the world with nearly 100 million distributors.  And unlike other professions, this success is due in large part to women.

A Look at the Numbers

Women EntrepreneursWomen make up around 75% of Network Marketers worldwide.  And these women have done more than just sell products.  These myths that women can’t succeed because they can’t build businesses or become top earners in their companies are completely false.  If they were true, then Network Marketing would not be as successful as it is.  25% of distributors worldwide, that small portion of men, cannot be the sole responsibility for Network Marketing’s growth.

Women & Network Marketing

Network Marketing is the perfect place for women to grow and reach the top.  There is no limit to the number of people, man or woman, who can become leaders, build businesses, or find success.  In other professions, only a few will ever make it to the top.  Everyone else will always be working for someone else.
And what’s more, Network Marketing is one of the only professions where women and men receive equal pay.  Currently, women earn 78.3 cents for every dollar a man makes in other professions.  A woman can have the same background, education, and marital status as a man and still be paid less for the exact same job.  But in Network Marketing, it doesn’t matter your sex, age, race, faith, or anything.  If you work hard and are willing to put in the work, you will earn exactly the same amount as a man.

Women Can Lead

women can leadNot only does Network Marketing provide a better opportunity for women to succeed than other professions, but studies show that women make better leaders than men.  Women tend to have the traits of a great leader such as taking initiative, driving for results, and the ability to multitask.  Additionally, women entrepreneurs are typically not afraid of taking risks, and are more willing to do so than men.

Monetary gain is also a less important factor for women than philanthropic contribution such as the possibility to create jobs.  Network Marketing’s focus on creating opportunities for people and helping them achieve their dreams plays nicely into women’s personalities.

Network Marketing is a growing profession, and women are leading the charge.  Vishwas Mudagal once said:

Somebody once said, educate a woman and you will educate a family.  I am saying, empower a woman to become an entrepreneur, and you will create an entire family of entrepreneurs.  Women entrepreneurship is the need of the world right now.

Our profession surely is a much better option to create powerful and successful women entrepreneurs.  After all, we’re already doing that, and we’re just getting started!
